I heard this place was great for barbecue and it refilled my expectations I ordered the barbecue plate-beef, and both the fries and the beef as well as the Coast Guard were perfect Nothing fancy about this place but they do barbecue right. I was amazed at how many people fit it in this establishment-judging by the outside one would think it was a very small restaurant.
I enjoyed this place! After hiking Sweetwater State Park, a large group of us headed to Beaver Creek Biscuit Company to grab breakfast. The breakfast is really cheap! I got a chicken breakfast plate for ~$5 which consisted of fried chicken (no bones), scrambled eggs, grits, and a biscuit. The fried chicken and biscuit were both good. The scrambled eggs were cooked well but needed some salt and pepper. Grits were plain grits w/some butter. I also ordered some BBQ to go since I saw so many yelp reviews raving about it. I ordered the beef plate for ~$8. Was a little surprised that the beef was chopped. It was pretty good, moist. I also liked the sauce that came on the side and had a mustard flavor, just wished they gave more sauce. The plate also comes with 2 sides and 2 slices of white bread--I got the baked beans and cole slaw which were both very tasty. It's definitely not the best BBQ I've ever had but I liked it. Service is friendly and the food is fast.
I came into twin looking for a place to eat, I also look for a local place. I found this place! On the wall are news paper reviews, friendly staff. From the gravel parking lot I could smell the hickory smoke. I ask what is the most common thing ordered for lunch, ribs and friend chicken. Ok let's try the fried chicken. It was freshly made at the time of order fried in peanut oil. It was delicious. The place had mom's with their young children to industrial workers and local truck drivers lined up! A true local favorite. The prices are very reasonable. Try it!

My wife has been trying to get me to go to this place for some time now. I've always had this little voice telling me to stay away. We went for breakfast, I figured I'd just take a chance. It didn't start well. The young woman brings the orange juice, and proceeds to spill a portion on the table in front of me. She didn't apologize, or bother to clean it up. She just walked away. While I wasn't personally offended, although I didn't care for being splashed with orange juice, but I thought it was unresponsive, unprofessional and showed a lack of regard. While we waited for the food, we had an opportunity to listen to a group of elderly men burp, and hack up the contents of their lungs. Very nice, next time go for the trifecta and let a few rip. All of the above would be easily disregarded, if the food had been great, but it wasn't. The food was average at best. Frankly, I think Waffle House is better. The food is mediocre home cooked quality. There's nothing about the place that makes me want to go back.
Service was good. Long wait for food. Did my eggs right. Corned beef hash was very salty. My date said his steak was perfect. Did not like my biscuit. Too greasy like they just buttered it on slapped it on the grill. Coffee was good.
Great food. Great service. Great value. Having just finished a walk in Sweetwater Creek, we were looking for a place to have breakfast on Yelp. What a great find... we will definitely be back! The coffee was tasty and good quality and the eggs were perfectly cooked. The food came in a reasonable amount of time and the server kept coming back to top up our coffee while we were waiting. Above all, the food was great value for what we had. Highly recommend it!

Chick-fil-A

Fast, friendly service despite the crowd of people inside, and at the drive through. The breakfast was great. I always do the #1 combo for breakfast which is a chicken biscuit, hashbrowns, and coffee. Everything was great, and it was just the energy boost I needed for my trip out of town!
When one doesn't have a Chik-fil-A in one's hometown, what's the first stop one makes when coming to Atlanta? Chik-freaking-fil-A that's where! Drool was running down my chin as we pulled into the parking lot. Visions of juicy, crunchy, tasty chicken sandwiches dancing through my head. Mmmm. I like mine with mayo, and I always have a hard time deciding if I should get the classic, or go for the deluxe. Regular or spicy? These things matter. But whichever you choose, they're all good. Lately, I just order two classic sandwiches with a water. Keep it simple, I tell myself. The waffle fries are ok, but why bother with the extra calories when the chicken is so damn good? Skip the fries, get two sandwiches instead, that's my advice. They're not that big, you won't feel like a pig. Sorry to wax poetic, but Chik-fil-A is a special treat for me. I don't get to eat here often, and when I do, I savor every bite of those tasty chicken sandwiches. Come to think of it, maybe it's better I can't eat at Chik-fil-A anytime I want. I'd eat there too often and then it wouldn't be special anymore.
I don't really usually review super big chain fast food restaurants, nor do I give them five stars. That being said, this is probably one of the best fast food establishments that I have had the pleasure of visiting. My husband, myself and a friend were traveling cross country this week - and had just gotten out of a huge snarl of traffic on the highway a few miles back and stopped for dinner, and I'd like to comment on some of the things we experienced here. 1. Every employee that we encountered said hello to us, and the manager took our order. They were polite and respectful and on top of everything. Our food came out incredibly quickly. 2. The bathrooms were very clean - and if you've traveled much around this country you know that a clean bathroom is few and far between. There was also a little decor in there - kinda Hobby Lobby-ish but it was really nice. 3. Plants on all the tables, what a cute touch. I really enjoyed that extra little thing, thank you! Yah.. totally five stars, bravo on everything!

Firehouse Subs

1300 W. Corporate Ct.

Reviews:
I have always been a big fan of Firehouse and have eaten in dozens of their establishments over the years. The food has always been consistently good at all those locations barring one; this one! I ordered the pork and slaw sand which is normally heaven on a bun. What I got was a frugal amount of tired pork literally swimming in a sea of over sweetened slaw! But here is the coup de grâce; I asked the server if they could cut this hot mess of a sand in half. He took my entree back to the kitchen and I assume the sandwich makers refused so he walked over to the plastic knives and told me politely to go ahead and cut it myself. Of course the plastic knife barely cut thru the bread. This place needs to get their customer service and food act together before I'll ever set foot in here.
Love coming to Firehouse. Great subs. Warm friendly atmosphere. Bright attractive lighting and table design. Love being able to be creative with my drink selection. The only thing that I would improve is the ability to be able to order from the drive thru window. Even if they had to text you when it was ready.
Very good service and always make my subs promptly! My favorite is the brisket with fresh onions added. Great flavor if you put some heat on it from the great selection of hot sauce they have available. They also have one of those soda machines where you can make thousands of flavor combinations. As a plus it's attached to Dunkin Donuts so you can get a coffee right after lunch!!
