I had a greek wedge salad and shrimp and grits. Both were delicious. When I ate at TBM a few months ago, I thought the service was slow but the chef and menu were brand new. This time the service was very good. I will definitely eat here again.

Went here for the first time for brunch with family who moved to the area recently. The decor is super trendy with modern industrial design - perfect wine spot for happy hour or late night drinks. We had 7 people in our party and we all ordered different items off the brunch menu. The service was friendly and accommodating however there were some essential details that were overlooked... Most importantly my nephews chocolate chip pancakes had no chocolate chips and we had to ask for the syrup. I asked for Swiss in my omelet but they made it with cheddar. Overall the food and service was good but the attention to the details was a bit lacking which is why I gave it 3 stars.

I'm glad I slept on the review I was going to give this place. It's a very cool, rustic spot in what I consider to be not that great an area. Obviously, things are changing in Lilburn, however. We arrived around 12:30pm for a late lunch yesterday and the restaurant was about half full. Great décor, the bar looks spectacular and the booths & tables are very unique in their design. Seated immediately without a reservation, we thought we were off to a good start. BTW, even if you don't use Opentable.com , restauranteurs need to know what it is. This is the second place in a month that responded, "Yes, we have an open table", when I asked if they used the Opentable system. Ugh; first-world problems... Anyway, we sat down, looked over the menu and I explained that we were in a bit of a hurry...we need to be at a funeral down the street by 1:30pm. Full disclosure, right? We took a few minutes and asked a few questions, but our order was in about 10 minutes after we got there. We talk and comment about how cool the décor is and realize that 20 minutes have passed and we haven't seen the waitress. Now we're at the point where we've got 15 minutes left to eat before we've got to leave. We flag down our waitress, who apologized profusely, explaining that one of the owners came in (after we sat down) with a large to-go order that was placed in front of ours, as well as the table next to us who was seated when we got there. Excuse me? We gave you 40 minutes to produce two sandwiches, told you up-front that we were on a schedule and you still can't feed us? In my book, there's no excuse for that. She returned to the kitchen and came back without our food, saying that the chefs were working on it, and that we would get to-go boxes...well, crap! I haven't eaten all day and now I have to go to a funeral where we won't get to eat until at least 3:30! She ran off again and at 1:20pm, I head for the door. She met me at the bar, I paid and we got out of there, but I was effing mad. I tipped her a full 20% because it wasn't her fault, but the owner should have paid it, not me. All that aside, I'm enjoying my to-go Pesto chicken sandwich as I write this. My mixed greens kept OK overnight, but the sandwich is still pretty good for $9. I've decided to give them a second chance at some point and not to penalize them with two or three stars, in the hopes the owners will read this and learn from their mistakes. I hate that this was my first experience here...

Bro in law took us there. Go for brunch n I'm glad we did. To begin start with coffee n was good n hot, Wife n I share French Toast,(best one we had in a while) then she had Veg Omelette with Home Fries. I had Huevos Rancheros, this plate surprise me cause consists of 2 fry corn tortilla with fried beans, cream on top, Pico de Gallo rice n two fry eggs. That was GOOD n well seasoned.

Love this place! My husband and I come here for any special occasion or just a night out because we love the food, decor and service. We use to come on Sunday's when they had their tavern menu, bummer they aren't doing that anymore but their regular menu is still really yummy! You have to order their stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and we always get the key lime pie and banana pudding for dessert! I'll definitely be back soon!

One of my favorite local restaurants! Great atmosphere and decor. Their new chef and the owner are welcoming and friendly. My current favorites are the sausage stuffed mushrooms (on the bar menu) and the fried chicken with collard greens and macaroni & cheese...both ridiculously good! The best greens I've ever had, including my own. You must also try their sticky toffee pudding! Finally, their wine and signature drink selections excellent. Plus they have a little wine store! I love supporting local businesses...I hope TBM is around for a long, long time!

I've been dining at Three Blind Mice for a few years. Initially, I was very impressed, but the past few visits have left a bad taste in my mouth. The most recent visit we ordered the tuna appetizer, the artisanal cheese plate, and the scallops for entrees. The artisanal cheese plate and tuna were great, but the scallops as a main dish were very disappointing. The description listed the dish as scallops with lentils, watercress and a red wine herb sauce. What was presented to each of us was six seared scallops on lentils. No watercress and no red wine sauce. Further, the scallops were very salty. Certainly not worth the $26 per plate. I could have made better scallops at home.

Very nice place! Went there around December, their menu changes seasonally. Great food, very nice low key atmosphere. Only negative....they don't take reservations, you can't reserve through yelp or open table. ****UPDATE**** went tonight for dinner, came in at 6:30 and was seated immediately as the house is half full. Just left since we still had not gotten our drinks after sitting for 25 minutes. The restaurant was not even half full!

This place looks super fancy from the Yelp page. I saw that it has some great reviews, but not as great reviews from Yelp Elite friends from Atlanta. This seems to be the go-to restaurant for classy dining in Lilburn and it was close to where my cousin was getting her nails done so we Yelped ourselves around the corner to try this. Three Blind Mice doesn't look particularly nice from the outside, but it's really nice from the inside. The bar itself had a great aesthetic and I could see myself coming back here for some drinks. We tried the fall leaves and the Masala the Great. I was intrigued by a drink that is suppose to taste like chai with alcohol. It turned out pretty good. For starters we got some butternut squash soup and lump crab cakes. We didn't like the soup at all and the crabcakes were okay, but I have had better. Actually, the two starters turned me off. We were planning to get some shrimp & grits, but after the starters weren't that great we ended up bailing before dinner entrees. Our server was awesome though. He provided great information about any questions I had and was attentive. A lot of my Yelp friends said the service here wasn't great, but they gave us a lot of good attention so it seems to have gotten better. However, there was just something about this place that we just didn't get the oooh ahhh vibes from a 3 dollar sign restaurant.

Went on Valentines day. They had a "special" menu that night. Unfortunately the only thing special about it was the jacked up prices. Service was awful. Waited 15 minutes at the bar to get a beer. Were seated 30 minutes after our reservation. Entrees took a hour to come out. The Steak Diane was probably the worst steak i have ever had in a restaurant. Over cooked, no flavor, just a few drops of sauce (were told they ran out). Others in our party had similar food quality. Since we were forced to buy dessert due to the "special" menu, we ordered the one item that actually sounded good. 45 minutes later were told they were out of it. Picked something else, then 20 minutes later told they were out of that as well. Picked the one dessert they did have left and it sucked. This was our second time to this restaurant, the first time was not any better, thought we would give it another try, boy were we sorry. Will never be back.

Sad to say I must update my prior review and say the place has gone downhill. The brunch menu I loved is gone and replaced with a bland menu that is very small (in options and portion size). The last two times I ate dinner there it was bland and without seasoning (most recently 2mos ago). It's very disappointing because this place had such promise. And the service was bad to start, and seems to have declined as well.

Fabulous key lime pie, outrageous pumpkin cheesecake. Yummy crab Benedict with poppy seed cold slaw. Definitely worth a visit. Never disappoints. Pleasant atmosphere in an unsuspecting location.

"Birds of a feather flock together, so do pigs and swine, rats and mice have their chance, as will I have mine..." -- "Die Hard with a Vengeance" (1995) We came here for Gwinnett Restaurant Week and were presented with a great menu with plenty of options (3 courses, $21.21). Each course, we had 3 options to choose from, which was excellent (compared to our previous GRW2013 outing). It has taken me forever to finish this review as I wanted to write something more positive and it just brings down the entire experience when the service is lackluster. When you can't even get a refill of your water (and while they were busy, they were not THAT busy), you know your service is going to be bad. Now the food was delicious and I would go here again and give them another chance - but I know it won't be during a restaurant week and it won't be on any kind of night that might have some traffic (just to see). I enjoyed my selected dishes - Fried Green Tomatoes, Chicken Francese (holy cow it was a HUGE portion) with orzo and spinach and Sticky Toffee Pudding with a Bourbon Caramel. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned and I would order them again. However, their menu lacked some attention to detail (please not my friend Trevor W.'s review for more on that: yelp.com/biz/three-blind… ). And being someone with food allergies (FYI, I always alert the server to them), this is an important distinction for me. I just wish our server was better. She was super nice, friendly, but did not care about her job or giving us good service. Luckily for me, they did the auto-gratuity, so she did not get any extra from me (I am a solid minimum 20% tipper). I hope they improve their quality of service and menu definitions and I would like to try them again.

I've written and re-written this review for Three Blind Mice at least 5 times before finally coming to the conclusion there just really isn't much for me to say. I love the decor here, the bartenders are friendly and fun and the shrimp n' grits would rank in my top 10 favorites of all time. The sticky toffee was also tasty. However, the fried green tomatoes were bitter and bland and the calamari here is not good. If you follow my reviews then you know I LOVE calamari. I will almost always order it if on the appetizer menu. I've had calamari everywhere from Chicago to Aruba and Charleston to Hawaii. This is the worst calamari I've ever had, evaaar. I don't know if it was the cooking oil that gave it such a strange flavor or some exotic ingredient, but it was not to my liking. THE VERDICT I would definitely return for the Shrimp & Grits, the ambiance and the bar... but the other items I sampled from the rest of our groups orders have me questioning if I should try anything else on the menu.

A visit during Gwinnett Restaurant Week left me Gwinnett Restaurant Weak. I really wanted to like this place. I grew up just a few miles away, went to Parkview HS, and am so proud of this area for finally building an in-town quality establishment out in Gwinnett. I also wanted to rave about how awesome the food is, but since the appetizer made me sick before I could even get to a main or dessert (opted for the prix fixe menu)... I cannot say all those things. What I can say is that they do not completely disclose all their ingredients on the menu. While there are flags for gluten, vegetarian, and even a couple dishes mentioning wine, I very quickly discovered this information was not universally revealed. You see, I am highly sensitive to any alcohol in dishes at this particular time due to some medication I am on. That means no drinking it, eating it, or even using it in mouthwash or hand sanitizer. I've made the mistake before, and it's not pretty or fun. So how did it happen here? Well, as I always do, I peruse the menu to see if they call out specific ingredients. If so, like they did here, then I stay away from the ones I can't have and order away at the one's I can. If it's not listed at all, I ask. But it was listed on some of the dishes... Queue about 5 minutes after trying the appetizer. Tell tale signs appear. I know exactly what happened. We call over the waitress. Us: "Does this dish have alcohol in it? We didn't see it listed on the menu..." Response: "Why, do you have a buzz?" Us: "No seriously, does this have alcohol in it?" Response: "We like to cook with wine here" I'd like to say this was an urban chic restaurant with warehouse filament lighting, an upscale bar with delightful, custom cocktails and craft beers. A place where the signature dish, Shrimp and Grits, made all my dreams come true. But wait, I ordered the shrimp and grits... and couldn't eat it because of the sherry or whatever alcohol vapors were rising up to great my face. I'd love to say all those things. But the service was lackluster, couldn't get a refill on our water or teas to save our life, and I ended up sicker than a dog because they didn't divulge ingredients completely. But I'm going to go back. I'm going to go back and explicitly state this little alcohol conundrum and see if anything changes. Because this place could be awesome, but wasn't for me.

My husband and I live in Va-Hi in Atlanta, and his parents live in Lilburn. We never, ever expected to find a place with perfect food, great craft cocktails, an amazing wine list, and awesome service (thanks, JoAnne!). We wish that this place would relocate to our neighborhood so that we could come here all the time. The spinach salad with shrimp is to die for (and huge), and the Greenhouse cocktail is so refreshing. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon!

25 minutes to get a Bloody Mary at brunch? Really? Arrived for a noon brunch. Well aware that alcohol cannot be served on Sunday till 12:30. Ordered drinks at 12:15. Reordered at 12:30. Received after several reminders at 12:55. Not my idea of service. I can cook myself. I go out for service. Pay attention!

My FAVORITE restaurant in ALL of Atlanta - in my own back yard in LILBURN! I"ve eaten more meals here than I can count - mostly at lunchtime. The best two things on the lunch are the Cuban (fresh and wonderful and CRISP!) and the Monte Christo - OMG - it's the lovechild of a hot ham n' cheese and a funnel cake. Order extra raspberry sauce with that one. Also, the hot chocolate is SO RICH. Totally a treat with a scone. Not into that many calories? a pot of the mint tea is a wonderful choice. I have only ONE minor complaint - the soups. The Polish cabbage was DELISH, so bring it back, and when you only have two soups on the menu - wonderful as they may be - why is it that BOTH are cream based? It gives me tummy rumblings. UP WITH BROTH!

FOOD IS 5 STAR. SERVICE IS 1 STAR. It would be nice if us regulars didn't get eye rolling or forgotten service when we come. We have sent many customers, given great tips and still get this horrible service, EVERY time. Maybe the new addition would create better attitudes from the servers. The huevos rancheros is good! Most of their brunch items are good! The smoked gouda that's offered on wine tasting night is AWESOME!!

This is my go to place for any celebratory feast! Their cheese board is a must have on every visit! The selections vary based on day and season but their manchenga and cheddar with a Merlot rind are my favorites. The crab cake and spring risotto have been the most impressive appetizers. The shrimp and grits are cooked to perfection and the I find myself craving their steak Diane. Around St Patty's Day they have some wonderful Irish Selections too! For dessert. ..it's all good. You can't go wrong, but the chocolate cake with espresso cream really finishes off the meal. Their wine, beer, and cocktail selections are excellent and extraordinary. The meals are pricey but worthy of their cost. It's always busy for good reason. It's a perfect spot for this little suburb of Atlanta and nothing made me happier than when I first discovered it. Take a stroll through the wine market and you're guaranteed to find a perfect bottle for that perfect occasion. Great place for girls night, date night, or just fellowship with friends!

Great atmosphere that is cozy, warm, and welcoming. Great beer and wine selection. Had a couple of starters, pimento cheese, potatoe skins, and scallops. I would totally get the scallops again. The others, I could do without. Plus, I heard they have wine tasting on weds. Enjoy!!

Cute decor, awesome beer selection!! See how they run! (yeap, pretty much had the half of the rhyme that I could remember running through my head the entire time I was there). We found this little gem when a vendor we were meeting recommended this spot as a meet-up. Ok, easy to find, easy parking, cute decor. We sat down at the bar and we were handed a drink menu. NICE. Very very respectable beer selection and the bartender knew his stuff! This was totally unexpected given the location (Lilburn, who knew you had a place like this?). We perused the menu after finishing our drinks and were intrigued enough to stay for dinner. The menu had solid choices, no surprises. We ordered a fish (salmon) and the shnitzel. The food was good! I thought the portions were quite large (I had enough for an entire shnitzel and cabbage lunch the next day). The meat was done well, moist and tender, and everything had good flavor. The wait staff here are super sweet, and I would definitely come here again if I were ever in the area.

The food was good. Everything tasted fresh and well made. The reason for the poor review is the service. Our server was horrific. She did not write down our order, which is fine if you are able to remember the order, but this was not the case. When she brought out the wrong dish (eggs Benedict instead of crab cake Benedict) she offered to go get the crab cakes, but she never brought crab cake Benedict, just two crab cakes plain on a plate. Also, we ordered a side of sausage. She brought this to the table after we had completely finished our meal. When the bill came, we had been charged for eggs Benedict and crab cakes. When I go to a nice restaurant, I expect exceptional service. This was far from my experience.

I have eaten @ TBM several times. The service is usually good and the menu is unique. Yesterday however was a disaster - they were out of several items and rather than make note, they wanted each diner to order and then they would let them know. The server was more interested in visiting with the diners @ the bar than tending to her tables. When the food finally came - we didn't have utensils or condiments - and had to ask several times for condiments. it was awful - will not go there in the future.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch and I had the roast beef sandwich on a kaiser roll. Awful! Very crumbly, dry, stale roll, thin tasteless roast beef, a slice of white cheese that had no taste at all, a limp piece of lettuce and thin little slice of pale tomato and a tiny bit of horseradish mayo. Fries were limp and too salty and a little greasy. Service was slow and lackadaisical. How hard is it to make a good roast beef sandwich on a chewy, fresh kaiser roll? The atmosphere is nice but what is needed is tasty food and high quality ingredients. We won't be back.

I live in Snellville where to me there is not much besides chain restaurants.. But was told about three blind mice by my brother.. I was wary.. but very surprised by the decor the food and the service.. Wonderful food, awesome atmosphere.. i really feel like I am in Virginia Highlands or Buckhead when I am there...So surprising to find something like this in Snellville.. Love the root vegetable dish! Had my 50 birthday party last year and we had them do the catering. My only negative is I wish they where bigger... can be a bit of a wait sometimes to get in and sometimes I think you need reservations...But thats a sign of a good restaurant.

Love the ambiance of this restaurant!! It has a urban city feel with a touch of your neighborhood friendly, good eats and drinks spot. It's close to the house so love the idea of getting out the house and going down the street for a really good burger or salmon. Love the friendly staff!

The website for TBM presents it as a chic wine par with a farm-to-table style menu with flavorful options for both meat eaters and vegetarians. While looking for a place to go for dinner and drinks, we found their website and decided to go. We were VERY disappointed. The hostess was too distracted by her phone to pay attention to us both arriving and leaving. Upon being seated, we were given a menu that did not resemble the online menu. This menu was simple, ordinary bar fare such as hamburgers and fries, NOT vegetarian friendly. The waiter gave a flippant reply about "recently switching to a winter menu so we haven't updated the website." It was January, restaurants switch to winter menus in November. After explaining we had a vegetarian at our table, we were told a simple salad and a side of mashed potatoes were all that could be offered. If you want simple, standard bar food with a wine bar attached, they have it. But the service from all was rude and uninterested and the food promised was not available.

I was pretty damn excited to try this place, heard a lot of good things about it.. So when my girl friend and I decided to give it a whirl, the 45 minute wait didn't seen so bad. So we wait, get seated, and get pretty disappointed from then on. Appetizer was decent.. First impressions.. Had some type of Alfredo with a white sauce.. Incredibly forgettable. Sorry Three Blind Mice.. Can't win em' all..

It is with heavy heart that I am writing a bad review for this restaurant. I fell head over heels in love with this one a while back and now they have fallen from grace. Me and my family went there for brunch this morning and they seriously bombed!!! My husband ordered the skillet pancake with no apples, well the first order came with apples in the pancake. The waitress took it back to the kitchen and pointed out to the staff that the order says "no apples" in the batter. So they put a rush order out on the next pancake with no apples in the batter and when this one hit the table the batter was still running out of the pancake since it was not completely cooked. He ended up sending this one back and ordering the Cuban sandwich, which by the time it got to the table the rest of us were finished eating, we shared our meal with him and he was no longer hunger...of course they charged us for the Cuban sandwich, but not the pancake. I'm so disappointed!!! I've referred so many people to this restaurant and they go and let me down. My husband is being a good sport about it all, he says we can still go back for dinner since we haven't had a bad experience for that meal, but I think I'm done :(

I first visited tbm 9 days ago and tried their sticky toffee pudding. I've been back twice since to have it again. The pudding alone earns this place 5 stars in my book, although the service in all 3 occasions was excellent (Rachel the bartender was fantastic, and friendly, and funny, and super helpful). The spinach/artichoke dip was really, really good, but extremely rich. The two of us couldn't finish it, it's really meant to be shared among more people, I think. Their plum oolong tea is lovely. I look forward to visiting tbm on a regular basis. It's a nice change from the usual fare in this area.

Tried this restaurant based on such good reviews. I was so disappointed. I got the pork sandwich. It was so very dry and hard to chew. I was surprised they would even consider serving such poor quality due to positive reviews I read. They were not busy at the time I was there yet service was slow and not attentive. I was really expecting quality I did not receive.

I visited Three Blind Mice last night (during Gwinnett Restaurant Week) or the second time. I had the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, the shrimp and grits as an entree and the Warm Peach Crisp for dessert. The fried green tomatoes were presented beautifully on a modern dish with 2 choices for dipping sauces. They were the perfect temperature and they tasted great! The shrimp and girts were some of the best that I've had. I had the Warm Peach Crisp for dessert. It's very similar to peach cobbler with ice cream. It was good, but I have to say that the toffee sticky pudding that I sampled from a friend's plate was even better. Next time I would order that for dessert. The also have an awesome beer and wine list. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and I am in love with the decor! I'll definitely return.

Too expensive for what it is. It wears a fancy suit, but just doesn't have the chops. Sorry. I've had better shrimp and grits a dozen times over and for less than $15. My friend got what she called "the worst salad (she's) ever had" and it was $16! She said the dressings were terrible. Bleh.

TBM has great food, awesome service and a menu that will please most palettes. It takes awhile so allow a little extra time (specially if on a tight schedule for lunch). The 2 lunch times we were there, we had a soup and sandwich combo, both hot, fresh and delicious! Highly recommend!

Great food, drinks and service. This has been a savior for us Lilburnites over the last few years- has given our town some personality and "cool points". Love the salmon and spinach, scallops, and stuffed mushrooms. Good beer selection, great wine selection. With the trip from ITP!

On this visit my husband and I decided to sit at the bar and have a couple of appetizers and a drink. The décor, atmosphere, and service were excellent. This restaurant is definitely a nice welcome to the neighborhood. It is such a relief to know there are other options available in the area other than the many chain restaurants. We ordered the chef's sampler meat and cheese platter and the calamari. The meat and cheeses were very, very good, there was a small issue with the bread, however; it was definitely not fresh. The calamari, in my opinion, should be taken off the menu. It was not edible. My husband was starving so he ate some, but for me, I knew it was not good after the first try. The rings were thick, tough, and greasy and the breading had a bland flavor.

This is the best fine dining restaurant in the area. Unfortunately it lacks a lot of what makes fine dining great. Three visits have equaled one ok experience, one sub par experience and one poor experience. The service is ok at best. The bar staff seems very pretentious. The food is good but overpriced. They know they are the only game in town and they are not trying to impress. Some hospitality training would do some good.

Great food. Been several times. The bar menu is a bit cheaper than the tables. Food is good either way. Super clean. Service is good. One lady bartender is not any good. She couldn't make a margarita or a mojito. Luckily the guy could make both great. Recommend this place for a date night but not really for kids IMO.

This place is a staple in the neighborhood! Great ambiance, sustainable decor (although my to-go box was styrofoam), and creative and great tasting cuisine. As a foodie, it's nice to have a place like this around the corner and don't have to trek into the city. Awesomeness!

My childhood friend and I were in town and stopped at TBM. What a fantastic place! She had the shrimp & grits, and I had the Salmon. Beautifully flavored and very affordable. It's modern and rustic decor is comfortable. Great service, and even better dessert. Try the seasonal Pumpkin Cheesecake, or the cinnamon infused creme brulee with cooked pear on top. The parking is cramped, beat the rush if possible.

This is my 2nd review of TBM and a better one than I gave prior, they have won me over! Coming from a foodie mecca in the Ballantyne and South Park area of Charlotte, NC and new to the Snellville area, I have been lacking good places to eat like I became so accustomed and spoiled at having at any given foodie fetish moment. It's actually made our move here that much harder. I finally felt at little at home on this most recent visit to Three Blind Mice. A.) Thanks for that. B.) The food was awesome. To elaborate on "A", we chose to sit at the bar this visit. Smart move on our part. The atmosphere there vs. the last time we were seated in the back of the row of booths near the bathrooms was WAY better. The bartending staff was engaging and helpful, the people around us friendly and we enjoyed looking at the décor (love the array of those 5 large glass bulbs over the table near the front window!) "B"...I ordered 2 appetizer dishes, one being the scallops over lentils, YUM!, the other the tuna tataki, double YUM! Looked and tasted so fresh. My fiancé had the Juicy Lucy burger and was not disappointed! We each tried a signature cocktail, I cannot recall the one I had, but it was savory and not sweet, a lot of basil in it, the bartender's recommendation was spot on when I told him what I liked and didn't like. This place has become a go to when we want good food, good service and good atmosphere in our new hometown area!

This is my first review here on yelp, but I frequent the site for reviews. My experience here was wonderful so I thought it deserved a review! I visited during the fall and sampled some of the seasonal beers they had at the time. The portions are excellent and worth the price. I am so happy that Lilburn has a restaurant like this, generally this type of place would be found in an area near Atlanta, not in a little suburban town! The chef is professionally trained and the taste of the food highlights that. I had a full course meal to experience this place to the fullest. We had calamari for our appetizer, yummy as anywhere, then I chose the steak Diane for this meal and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Dessert was the tiramisu, which was enormous and better than the tiramisu I have had at Cafe Intermezzo, which I love. The seating is cozy (meaning that you will be right next to another party) and the scenery inside is industrial (eclectic, exposed brick - exposed beams), quite quaint. I absolutely adored it. I cannot wait to return!

Where on earth did this little place tucked inside of a little strip mall come from!? The food is amazing. They have a great drink menu and it's nice and cozy a great place for a date. Great atmosphere!

I was torn whether to give this place 2 or 3 stars. I decided on 3 since they are taking a risk with this type of restaurant given the Lilburn location. I live in Lilburn and yes, we are starved for restaurants of this category. That being said, we had to park across the street as the strip mall parking was full, we got a new waitress who was not knowledgeable on the menu, and the service was a little slow as the restaurant was crowded. I thought the pricing was too high given the quality of the food and service. We ordered the shrimp and grits, the seafood pasta, the calamari, the potato skins, and the Steak Diane. The calamari was good but they served it with a thick mayo based sauce instead of the traditional marinara sauce which was odd. The steak diane was tough and the potatoes were undercooked. The shrimp and grits, and the seafood pasta were ok but nothing to write home about. The potato skins were the best thing we tried but hey, even a lowly sports bar should be able to get these right. Overall, I think I would only return to have appetizers and drinks here.

Ate at TBM last Friday night with my husband - I love eating at the bar, and the Steak Diane was marvelous! (Cooked gluten free just for me!) Thank you for having gluten free beer; I am just not a huge fan of cider. And please get more New Planet - I love that beer! Wonderful to have a neighborhood restaurant with such style, like it was plucked straight out of Decatur or Midtown!

It's really a shame that I haven't been to this place more than 3 times, especially since it's walking distance from my house. The first time I walked in, I think my mouth fell open. I couldn't believe I was at a restaurant in Lilburn! I mean I live here and love it, but this place looks like something you'd find in the Highlands or Decatur. Nice decor, pretty bar, indoor and outdoor dining, very upscale to be located in one of those mini-shopping centers with a hair salon and dry cleaner! So the feel of the place gets 5 stars for sure. The service has always been good when I've been there. I've only had to wait once, and we opted to sit at the bar, so we didn't wait for very long. The only time service wasn't perfect was when we went for brunch at 11 a.m. on a Sunday. There were only two groups of us eating, so you'd think we'd get lots of attention. But she must have been busy prepping for the after-church crowd. She'd disappear for long periods of time, and it took the check awhile to arrive. So I can't give the service 5 stars, but its a close call. The food here does not disappoint. If you want great food in Gwinnett, with a healthy poor of wine or some yummy cocktails, give TBM a try. They change the menu with the seasons, but two of my favs that are currently on the menu are the Cast Iron Seared Scallops (as a main dish, no teasers for me) and Low Country Shrimp and Grits. On our brunch day I had the Dutch Baby - shazam was it perfect! I think the amount of food you get is worth the money. I usually end up taking some home, but it's not like they serve you a triple portion either. I've tried desserts and nibbled off other's plates (at my table only of course), and never had a bite that made me go meh. I give the food 5 starts without hesitation! I haven't tried the cocktails, but they sound delicious and creative. I've enjoyed the wine selection and the coffee I had with breakfast. So when I add it all up I round up to 5 stars because even if the service wasn't perfecto, the food and ambience make this restaurant worth the trip every time!

My mom, my friend, and I ate lunch here one time. I had a sweet potato soup that was cold. My mom ordered the broccoli and cheese soup that was also cold. We asked the waitress to warm it up and she had to do it twice because it was the right temp. I wasn't impressed by their foo at all. The prices are extremely high for the quality of the food. This is Lilburn not Buckhead. The only thing I can say that is a positive is their wine selections.

This is a visually striking restaurant-beautiful interior design though the metal chairs are uncomfortable after ten minutes. But that's ALL they've got going for them. The waitstaff are really incompetent. They will make three trips when if they were thinking, one trip would suffice. If I were a waitress I would ask how many are in the party and bring menus, silverware and napkins, and water for all guests. But just getting these basic items required several inquiries from our table and several waitress trips back to the table. We were last there on a Sunday morning, the restaurant wasn't busy, and we were told we'd have to wait for them to brew decaf. At a brunch. There is always confusion about who ordered what, very unprofessional and frustrating. We've even been asked to switch plates amongst ourselves after the first or second bite! One waiter even showed me a plate and asked whether it was the crab Benedict. I replied "I don't know, it's not my restaurant." They're too cheap to put lemon slices in their tea-you have to ask-and another waitress trip. As if all this isn't bad enough, the food is awful. I've been here maybe ten times and the food is either too bland or way salty. Avoid the steak sandwich at all cost as it is salty beyond belief. Hollandaise hasn't seen a lemon, ever, on the Benedicts. And soggy un-toasted English muffins on the Benedicts, too. Even the shrimp and grits bland, not at all savory. Update: My guest, in her late 70s, was served rancid beef on her steak sandwich, and, thankfully, smelled it and so didn't take a bite. I could smell it from across the table. We discreetly asked for a manager. Management wouldn't even come to the table. Waitress was completely unapologetic. No one would admit the beef was rancid. I will never dine here again.

GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS. Hard to find in Lilburn, but the chef knows what's up and can help you get something delicious that won't mess with your Celiac.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while now. Having grown up in the area I'm happy to see a chic place like this here. It seems out of place (could see it fitting in better in downtown Lilburn) but whatever. As a southern girl I'm not used to drinks served by the can (no free refills on soda) but again whatever. Our server Taryn (not sure how to spell it) was very nice and welcoming. Very knowledgeable about the menu. I had the club with pommes frites (French fries) and it was delish! Very generous portion. I loved the cheeses on the sandwich. My grandma had the chicken salad wrap with coleslaw and said it was great. Overall it was a wonderful lunch. Setting/decor was cool, food was great, prices not bad for a nice lunch. My only complaint was a waiter talking to the table next to us basically had his rear in our faces! The tables where we were are close together but he could have stood on the other side! It was just an annoyance, nothing major, and we laughed about it later.

Food is very mediocre, and overpriced. Nothing to get excited about. I've had multiple cocktails there, they were all terrible to mediocre, and they don't use proper ice in their iced cocktails so they became watered down very quickly. There aren't any places like it in the area however, and that's the one good thing about it. I would much rather drive twenty minutes to Decatur and eat food that is excellent and priced more appropriately.

The food is just ok, nothing really stood out. I've never been much of a wine snob maybe if I were I might frequent this establishment more often.

There really isn't anything like this place around Lilburn, Lawrenceville, Snellville. I read a review about this place in Atlanta magazine and my husband and I have been wanting to try it ever since. They have so much to offer. It can get pricey, but we were celebrating, so it was definitely pricier for us. When you step inside, it is hard to believe that you are in a shopping center. The decor is simple, clean, and pleasing to the eye. There were certain touches that I wanted to steal for my own place, but besides that it immediately gave you the feel that you were somewhere special. We ordered a bottle of wine and our server escorted us to their wine wall to make a selection. If it's not on their regular list, there is a $15 corkage fee, which is standard, but still annoying. Our server had some nice recommendations for us. Speaking of our server, he was excellent. He was professional, knowledgeable, and kept our wine glasses filled. We started with a Spanish cheese plate, which paired nicely with our Vouvray. I ordered the Steak Diane and my husband went for the Penne alla Vodka. TBM really set themselves apart with the dinner. My husband's pasta was really delicious. I would have thought that the prosciutto and tomato cream sauce would have been overkill, but the two were a fine combination. The Steak Diane was well-seasoned and beautifully cooked. I was amazed at how tender and juicy it was all the way through. The fingerling potatoes for soft with a bit of bite to them from the cooking process. We split the Tiramisu, which was light and fresh. Very nice that they have an in-house pastry chef. It was delightful and we cannot wait to check it out their offerings at lunch, brunch, breakfast, and the bar.

My new favorite restaurant! And only 10 minutes away. I may never go to Atlanta again. We went for brunch! Loved my Eggs Benedict. Husband's omelet was excellent! Grits were amazing! Who ever hear d of potato salad for breakfast? I never get to try a dessert, cause I'm always full? Wait staff is attentive and gracious, without being overbearing. Looking forward to next time.

Went for dinner tonight. Four of us. We were seated and no server came to wait on us. The table in front of us and the table behind us were taken care, but not us. We dine out all the time, I can't remember the last time I had to walk out.

I have been to TBM twice now. The first experience was beyond excellent. The second visit was horrible. I never wrote up my first review, so this will be based on both visits. Had I reviewed TBM upon my first visit, it would have easily received a 5 star review. My wife and I were there for our anniversary and we shared a bottle of wine and the cheese plate to start. My wife had the Steak Diane which was a total knock out. I ordered the Penne ala Vodka, which was also very good. Our server was very attentive and paid close attention to our wine glasses, keeping them filled. My second visit was on a Sunday to celebrate my birthday with my wife and parents. Let me begin by saying that, I do not recommend this place on Sundays, especially for a first visit, because the menu is very limited, and do*es not do the chef justice. When we walked in, it was very busy, but the hostess offered us a seat at a high top table. We took it. Don't make the same mistake... wait it out and take a table. The stools at the high top table were incredibly uncomfortable (especially if you have short legs). Some of our party ended up spending as much time standing at the table as sitting. The light bulb in the light just above your head also puts off a ton of heat, so we spent the whole evening sweaty and uncomfortable. Our waiter took forever to come greet us and take our drink orders, which was a harbinger of things to come, because he took forever to do just about everything for our table. I ordered the beer tasting (a sampling of 6 beers), and each arrived independently, which is fine, but they came so far apart, that it was difficult to do any actual comparisons, and since there were only about 2-3 sips in each sample, it did not do much to quench my thirst. I got my 3rd sample of 6 before the entrees came out, but did not ever get number 4. Towards the end of the meal, I just asked for the last 3 at the same time so I could go ahead and finish it. Five minutes later when he came back to clear plates and without anything for me, I told him to just cancel the rest and take it off the bill. We also had to wait an inordinate length of time for napkins, water and food. Eventually I had to go ask the busy bartender for some napkins. As far as the food, we had 1 order of the Smoked Turkey Rachel (which was apparently very good), 1 Juicy Lucy burger (which was a greasy failure) and 2 Steak Dianes... 1 person thought it was excellent, I ordered the other one, and did not have the same reaction. The color for a med-rare seemed spot on, but the texture and feel of the steak seemed off somehow (pink in the middle but on the dry side). I'm not sure if this came from using weights to speed the cooking process or what, but it was not as good as I had tasted when my wife ordered it a couple of weeks before. All in all, I would say this is a restaurant with tremendous potential, but they suffer from inconsistency and a staff that is ill prepared for large dinner services. I sincerely hope these kinks are ironed out because there aren't very many comparable restaurants OTP, and I'd like to see this one succeed.

Don't let the negative reviews discourage you from giving this restaurant a try. There is simply nothing else like Three Blind mice in a 10 mike radius of Lilburn, GA. Go for the wine tasting or sample a crafted, Decatur-style cocktail. For the entree, I love the scallops and steak Diane. Favorite appetizers are the salmon and the stuffed mushrooms. The atmosphere is lovely and very social. We always sit at the bar and make friends.

My wife and I ate at Three Blind Mice last night because we had been curious about it for awhile. We were driving home and our choice of dining location was kind of a spur of the moment thing. I'm mentioning that because it may have some bearing on my review. The restaurant is a little more upscale than most other restaurants in Lilburn. That's a good thing, but we didn't know it before we arrived. My wife and I had been out shopping in shorts and tee-shirts and we immediately felt under-dressed. It appears that Three Blind Mice's primary mission is to be a wine bar. Their bar area was very nice and the wine selection was extensive. I am not a big wine drinker (much to my wife's embarrassment when we were in Paris, but I digress) so I just ordered a Diet Coke. It turns out they serve soft drinks by the can. This is a pet-peeve of mine. There is no reason why any dine-in restaurant should be without a soda fountain and serve with free refills. The biggest complaint I have about the restaurant is that it seems to be unreasonably pricey. I had Low Country Style Shrimp and Grits. The food was very good, but at $18 for an average sized bowl I was suffering from a bit of sticker-shock. My wife had Chicken Saltimbocca, which was also very good. However her $16 price tag was also a bit much. In my final analysis, Three Blind Mice is a really nice restaurant that just needs a little adjustment. I joked to my wife that it is the kind of place you would bring your boss to in order to appear more refined. I'm not sure when we'll be back, because we don't usually spend that kind of money for dinner, but if they make a few minor changes we could be regulars.

What a treat to have an interesting non chain restaurant with in a normal driving distance from home. The menu on Sundays is not as diverse as other days, heavy sandwiches and apps only. Otherwise the menu is eclectic, local and interesting. The only complaint is there are little to none light choices everything is extremely creamy and saucy, I guess that's what folks like but being from NYC I'm used to having at least 2 or 3 healthier choices. Thank you for being in Lilburn!!

I recently started spending a lot of time out of the City (and, in particular, Lilburn) and was more than excited about discovering Three Blind Mice, a Lilburn establishment opened only about 6 months ago, which absolutely fills a void in OTP dining. My first visit was only about a week ago and I definitely plan on becoming a regular there as I continue to spend more time in Lilburn. On first entering the space one notes the casual bistro feel with an avant garde design. It is simply decorated in black, white and cream and has some wonderful little nooks for people to kick back and relax. The lighting fixtures were both rustic and eclectic and added flare to an already charming space. The bar is spacious and the staff inviting. I felt right at home. As we walked into the restaurant we were immediately greeted (thankfully because it is a bit confusing as to where to go to ask for a table) and seated at one of the many two tops in the restaurant. Our server (who I believe was Christine) was very professional and immediately asked us for our drink order as well as our water preference. Perfect right from the start. Although the space and service was great, the food really stole the show. On this visit I was able to sample five dishes which included the Lump Crabcakes with Pink Grapefruit, Radish and a Brown Butter and Mustard Hollandaise; Slow-roasted beet salad with autumn greens, Valdeon blue cheese, butternut squash and toasted pecans; Crisp pork schnitzel with braised red cabbage and apples and horseradish charcutiere; Pan-Roasted Snapper prepared with roasted root vegetables and greens (prepared off the menu upon our request) and finally, for dessert, pumpkin cheesecake. Every dish from start to finish was amazing. The two dishes that stole the show though were the crab cakes (some of the best I have tasted in all of the City) and the Pork Schnitzel which rivaled (in size, tenderness and flavor) the revered Pork Schnitzel at the now sadly defunct Shauns. I could have eaten both dishes a second time that night and I was stuffed. I would be remiss not to mention two other points which made this restaurant experience one of the better ones of the year. First, the accommodating nature of the staff in preparing a dish off menu for my girlfriend who was disappointed with her choice being unavailable. They did not even bat an eye to the request and our server told us they would do it before even talking to the chef. Secondly, the ownership of TBM is truly approachable and very friendly. We had the opportunity to chat with one of the owners, August Perez, toward the end of the meal and were truly impressed by his openness and dedication toward the business. He was incredibly friendly and enjoyable to speak with as he regaled us with tales of the opening of the restaurant and how the concept came to fruition. As an aside, I mean no offense to my fellow Yelpers David G and Dale S, but I think that you both need to give this another shake before you lambaste a restaurant based upon a lunch sandwich and slow service. I think that the one star ratings are not representative of the quality of service and food that TMB puts out and I am sure you would absolutely agree if you returned and revised your reviews to give it the rating that it truly deserves. In closing, I cannot say that TBM is a hidden gem to those Lilburnites, but it was to me. I have told many friends and dining companions about it already in hopes of getting people to travel out of the City for the experience. Yes it is a little far for us City folk but well worth the visit. I cannot say enough good things about it and hope it sticks around for a long time to come. I have been looking forward to my next visit since walking out of there a week ago. It cannot come soon enough!

I stopped in here on a busy Wednesday night. I was asked if I was there for the wine tasting. When I inquired for more information the lady pointed to some bottles and said it was $10 for 6 wines. Apparently they were featuring Spanish wines. When I looked closer I noticed that the white wines were not even slightly cold. We told her we were there for dinner. She asked us to follow her and promptly walked into the crowded restaurant. We tried to tell her that wanted to sit outside but she continued to walk quickly away from us. My wife had to chase her down and tell her we wanted to sit outside. She sat us and gave us one menu. She said she would get us another menu, left and returned a moment later. Our waitress arrived and said the distributor ran out of wine so they just opened room temperature bottles. I thought this a bit odd since they made no attempt to chill the wine. They have ice, it was in my water. She took our wine order and some bread was brought out. We had to ask for silverware. Anyway, we ordered mussels steamed in wine with shallots and fresh herbs, a salad with roasted beets, walnuts, and blue cheese, and Lump Crabcakes with Pink Grapefruit, Radish, and a Brown Butter and Mustard Hollandaise Sauce. We also had a bottle of wine that was very good for $28. The food was all good. My only criticism is the crabcakes were served on a cold plate so the sauce seized up and the hollandaise was a little bland and did not have the flavors of brown butter and mustard. This place is really good for Lilburn. With some more staff training it could be truly stellar!

5 stars for the area indeed. My sister and I just had a delicious lunch. The cocktails were outstanding, service friendly, and sandwiches creative and tasty. We will be back soon for their wine tastings!

Went in for a wine tasting last Wednesday night with friends, and it was amazing! The staff was very knowledgeable about the wines and the h'ordouvres served were great. Ended up taking home 6 bottles from their retail store, the deals on the wines from the tasting were too good to pass up! Recommend to all wine/food lovers!

Great local restaurant. Have been for dinner, lunch, brunch and "just drinks" and have had nothing but great food and excellent service every time. An ambitious concept that means Gwinnett residents no longer have to cross the county line to have the kind of restaurant experience that folks in Decatur take for granted. Highly recommended.

Such a quaint and cozy atmosphere. I was on my way to a Bon Vonage Party so I stopped to purchase a bottle of happiness for the one we are celebrating. The gift shop side has a vast array of spirits. Their coffee was just right not as strong as Starbucks and not as light as Seattle's Best just right. To my surprise, they serve my favorite dish Penne Alla Vodka. I will return to sample their meal.

I went to this little restaurant with my girlfriend for some Saturday brunch, and I thought it was amazing. I really enjoyed their chill, laid back yet upscale dining environment; the food was also great. I ordered a spinach salad with grilled chicken, and girlfriend got a fried chicken sandwich with creamy cheese broccoli soup. They were indeed delicious, but the food didn't make me go "wow". However, the waiter was really friendly, the restaurant setting made me felt comfortable, and we also noticed their wide variety selection of wines, beers, and cocktails. We will definitely come back, and maybe join them for some wine tasting. So, if you are just looking for some nice little restaurant to dine at or to have a drink after work, this would be a great place to go.

Terrific and varied menu. The mussels were extremely well done- not too brothy not overdone just the right amount of garlic. Cheese platter was sort of ordinary - nothing extraordinary but the cocoa powdered blue cheese was good. Our party enjoyed the filet, the NY Strip - both cooked exactly as we ordered and the salmon - also done just right. The server was excellent - knowledgable and engaging, but not too in our faces which can be a real turn-off. We never felt rushed even though there were a lot of people waiting for tables. The dessert filo Fontaine provided the "perfect combination" of raspberries and chocolate to keep it interesting and sweet but not too. Only criticism was thin wine list. Good choices, but too few except for the Library selections which are a bit on the pricey side. Overall though, an experience that I'd repeat.

I visited TBM for lunch today to celebrate a co-worker's 20th service anniversary. The food was very good and the staff was amazing. We had a large party and celebrated in a private area on one side of the restaurant. The interior design. the atmosphere and the decor was amazing - lots of attention to detail, very clean and beautiful. I ordered the Cuban sandwich with chips. The sandwich was good and the chips tasted like they were made on site. After lunch, we celebrated with a carrot cake (my favorite!). It was some of the best carrot cake I have had - the icing was fantastic - not too heavy and the cake (which was made on the premises) was wonderful. Several folks at the table raved about the "Rachel" sandwich and the cake as well. The coffee was also very good. I wish this place was closer to my home so I could visit more frequently but this will not be my only visit. The service was awesome and we all had an enjoyable time. While we did not partake of the bar, it appeared they had a great wine selection as well as an extensive beer selection and I noticed that when the weather is nice, they have outside seating to take advantage of. Enjoy this place - it was a nice time.

Tried this place this past Friday...Excellent. Decore is very nice and I would say a bit retro. My husband and I sat at the bar. We were starving and thought we would try a bit of everything., We started with the calamari-perfectly cooked and seasoned. Portion size was excellent. Then tried the Beet salad-it was good-had blue cheese-and a good dressing that was not over powering. I had the Steak Diane...wow! A NY strip that was NOT dry and perfectly seasoned and cooked med. rare. And so tender!! My husband had the Hanger Steak which was excellent and tender. We were stuffed after all that, but my husband insisted on dessert. His logic was if the entrees were that good, dessert must be fantastic. And of course it was!!! We had the cheese cake. To die for!!! It was not heavy and overly sweet. It was soooo good! It was topped with carmalized pears which added the perfect touch. Next time, we are going to try the spinich dip. It was not on the current menu, how ever several people had ordered it and it looked great!! I am guessing that it was on a previous menu and that they will make it for you upon request. The service was great! The bar tenders were very attentive and both of them waited on us. Both also answered question on the menu as well. They know their stuff and the chef really knows what he is doing at this place. We will be going back soon!! I can not get the cheese cake outta my head!

What do you do when you check out a new restaurant and discover that their interpretation of a Reuben is two slabs of roast beef instead of corned beef? Dried out roast beef too. And after tax and tip--$10 for an unsatisfactory sandwich that any deli should be able to serve even without a Paris trained chef. The ambiance is, indeed, very pleasant and the concept of mixing a social area with good food is desirable--but the food has to fit the bill. I may have just hit them on a bad day--but you really should tell someone that the kitchen has run out of corned beef rather than try to get by with roast beef. I may try it again, but I just wanted to balance out the stars.
