I got hibachi chicken half order and a chicken egg roll. Both were delicious and this was even after the 20 minute ride home. The chicken egg roll maintained a crispy exterior and was sufficiently succulent to make me happy. And it was a fair size. Yeah! The hibachi chicken was what I ate for lunch and dinner even tho it was a half order. It had plenty of meat and rice and although I would have liked more veggies with it it was quite enjoyable with a large cup of yum yum sauce to go with it. I sauteed up my own veggies for the evening meal and finished the rest off. I am pleased to find a fast food asian place that is not trying to rip you off with too much rice and not enough substance or serving old food that is chewy and hard. I will be back.

I always get excited about places that offer drive thru other than the normal fast food restaurants. Came here around 11:40, and nobody was there, so I'm happy I beat the lunch rush. I ordered the scallop hibachi (full $11) and the steak&chicken hibachi ($11). I loved the scallop hibachi. They use bay scallops which are the tiny ones, but they gave a perfect amount. The steak and chicken were rather dry, but you can't expect much from a drive thru joint. They seasoned it well though. The fried rice and veggies that came with it were fine. They also give a large side of yum yum sauce with every entree. I don't usually like paying the high hibachi prices, so this place is great to go too! Just don't expect the same quality as a restaurant.

I haven't even tasted the Good yet. Anyway, I remember what this place used to be. And I remember what that place used to be too. It's a better, cleaner, overall look just missing the TVs the other places had. But everything smells great and looks better.

4.5 so I rounded up. The place needs some renovations but the food is great. I recommend the Steak Hibachi Entree.

I ordered the hibachi shrimp with added scallops and extra egg to the rice. The food was pretty bland but after adding soy sauce, I had no problem with it. Not trying to defend them about the blandness but could it be on purpose in regards to sodium? The price was inexpensive and the wait was very short even though there was a lunch crowd. The amount of food was phenomenal!

Interesting. Take out Japanese Teppan. Inexpensive. Plenty of it. Tasted alright. The meat was tender and there was a good amount of it. (I had Hibachi Steak) Fried rice while plentiful was bland. It could have stood a few more pieces of onion and zucchini as well. Over all, I will do it again

I haven't read any other reviews on Hibachi so I'm flying unbiased right now. It is 2:02pm on a Wednesday. I came in, two Lilburn City Police Officers are chilling over lunch, 2 women are posted enjoying their lunch too. It's a bit slow, but it's peaceful. I can't remember what this building used to be but it was some kind of fast food joint. The staff of Hibachi has done a wonderful job redecorating and keeping this place up, and the atmosphere is just overall pleasant. Smooth Japanese music playing, sounds of sizzling meat, the smells of teriyaki and yum yum sauce surrounding you....yes. I was ravenous so that may be a bit over exaggerated For the good part: I got the Hibachi Chicken 1/2 Entree with extra veggies, and my total was like $6 and some change. Can't be mad at that. Taste-wise, I've had better "fast-food" Hibachi, it was sodium laden and the chicken was a bit overdone. This may sound gruff, but you can't really go into a place like this with your hopes high. But you know, for this surrounding area I think they've done rather well. Give it a try!

I find myself eating here about once a week. It is consistently yummy with incredibly large portions for cheap. I am very picky about my meat and theirs is phenomenal; no weird fatty and tendony pieces that you find at a lot of Japanese places. The drive thru tends to take a bit of time, but that is because the food is made fresh. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

ok this is not what you're thinking.... as long as you suspend your beliefs about hibachi places like benihana, u just may like the food at hibachi express. I only went thru the drive thru to be fair, there was no line and minimal waiting for the food to cook. The lack of wait time and lack of a steaming, fragrant, burning hot -to-the-touch package makes me think hibachi quality does not currently live here. Will I try this: fill-in-the-blank express again? Meeh maybe in a pinch but if Im paying $1.99 to add veggies that should already be there, I might just spend a little more for a chinese delivery. So lets recap: they get a good star for offering soba noodles (at least I think they were the real buckwheat kind) at a drive thru, the food was barely warm and lacked that char flavor a true hibachi imparts but they get a second star for speed. Finally aside from no real flavor at all (like salt and pepper) the steak yakisoba bowl I had was quite greasy and the oil taste was most prevalent.

I had the steak and scallops hibachi for only $11. Flavor was great but the yum yum sauce that comes with it wasn't all that. Yum yum sauce is supposed to be the best part of hibachi! (Well to me at least) best part is that they have a drive thru and it was fast!

The Hibachi express in Grayson has the worst hibachi I've ever tasted. First of all its Chinese and Japense food all in one. I ordered the chicken and steak hibachi and when I got home I immediately noticed the chicken looked funny. I pulled it apart and noticed the fatty tissue. I decided to try a piece and boy was I disappointed. It is not really chicken they are serving. They use the Chinese version of chicken in which I hate Chinese food. The steak was of very cheap quality with no taste. They gave plenty of rice but only a few veggies. A complete waste of money. I only took two bites and into he trash it went. You have been warned. If you want real Hibachi stay away from here.

Passed this place on my way home from work and decided to swing in and try it out. I ordered the full hibachi chicken entree and a teriyaki steak rice bowl. It took a few minutes and I was on my way. The first thing I noticed was the smell, it was absolutely wonderful. The food is on par with any japanese steakhouse but without the parlor tricks or screaming kids. I'll definitely be back.

Really good food with quality ingredients despite the low price. The portions are also HUGE. My wife and I eat there about once a week or so and always split a full portion meal. What keeps it from getting 5 stars is the sweet tea, which consistently has a funky taste.

Everything is bland. Rice and chicken were dry and tasteless."Fried rice" is plain rice. no egg or veg in rice. Vegetables were good but hardly any on plate. There was a package of sauce on tray. Tasted like mayo and ketchup mixed. Mustard was in no way hot. I love good hot mustard. No napkins out in dining room. Very disappointed. Only thing positive I can say is the place was clean.
