Great subs and great service. Walking in the place was so clean, and was greated immediately. They make the subs any way you want it. And I love the turkey sub toasted just right. Then you can pick from any soda, so many choices.

This review is only for this location. I love Firehouse Subs but I would not recommend going to this location. Not because of the food because I haven't actually tried it but because of their terrible customer service. I went with a gift card and I was told they couldn't process my gift card. The cashier notified the manager who tried to swipe the gift card a couple of times and handed it back to me saying call the number on the card and tell them to send you another one. spoke to a manager who in turn told me that there was nothing I could do accept call the number on the back. I called the number back of the card which was an automated service which could only give me the balance on the card $5.86. I went back to the register and told the cashier that that's all the automated number would do I requested that he give me the corporate number. This gentleman tried again to use the card but it didn't work I could see that he was reluctant to give me the corporate number because he was trying to help as much as he could. He went to speak to his manager again to give him an update and pretty much the same thing happened. The manager said there was nothing he could do and that I should go ahead and call corporate. When I asked for the number he said it was outside on the door. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this fire house location. My sandwich would have cost $7.14, the least he could do was to subtract the balance of my gift card from the total, keep the gift card and I would pay the rest. Then he could figure the rest out with corporate and get his money back.

As far as sandwich shops go Firehouse is one of my favorites. I love the steamed subs and of course the ridiculous assortment of hot sauces. Bread is good and stands up to the juicy meat. I usually stick to items I know however I do venture out to different sandwiches at firehouse because I trust their construction. Downside here is that partially due to the steamed nature of the sandwiches you may have to wait a few minutes for one. I like the Firehouse Hero, The Club and recently tried the New York Steamer which was also very good. I like to get the combo with Mrs Vickies Sea Salt Chips and put the chips on the sandwich for an extra bit of crunch...

Love this place. Recommend the meatball sub with sautéed mushrooms. It's delicious and the new style Coca-Cola soda machines are fun too!

Yup, I know it's a national chain, and I'm sure that if you've seen one, you've seen them all barring differences in management and service.... However, this is the only Firehouse Subs I go to. The subs are hot and fresh. I love the plethora of hot sauces available to spice them up. They also have one of the awesome soda machines, and I admit this is half the reason I go. :-) I've heard others complain about the service, but I've personally never had a problem with it. Then again, I tend to eat lunch outside of peak hours.

Slightly expensive, but TOTES delicious! I've been coming here for years and have never once had bad service (or more importantly), a bad sandwich. I usually get the pastrami- fully involved! It's the best, honestly. I love that they have a MILLION hot sauces to choose from. But you know what's even cooler than that? They have one of those awesome sci-fyesque drink machines where you can choose from over 120 drinks. I get the peach fanta :)

I try to make a point of not reviewing large, national chains. Yelp is best used when you're finding a local place and you aren't sure what to expect - but you generally know what to expect at a chain, right? If you've eaten there before then the food should generally be consistent from shop to shop. If you've had good service at a location it's more than likely due to a part time employee who may or may not be there next time due to shift work and high turnover. So why Yelp about a national chain? Because some places you end up with consistently good or consistently bad service. Such is the case with this instance of Firehouse Subs. The food is what you would expect from any of the Firehouse Subs stores. Steamed buns, lots of meat and generally good tasting. I like to get the New Yorker with corned beef brisket, pastrami and spicy mustard. Good stuff, huge, it'll fill a big guy up. On the other hand, I absolutely HATE going to this place because of the s-l-o-w service. If I pull up and can see three people waiting inside for their orders, I'm going to go somewhere else because I don't want to wait 30 minutes for a couple of sandwiches. Heck, Jersey Mike's CUTS their meat while I stand there and it never takes longer than five minutes to get served at one of their places. ... and I've been to other Firehouse Subs, this isn't normal. The location off of Ga Tech's campus is an example of an efficient operation. Case in point, the latest example that led me to this Yelp posting -- pulled up, saw only one customer in, figured I had gotten lucky and I could be in and out in under ten minutes. Two employees in the store, can't be too bad, right? The older person at the cash register (I'll call her a "manager" just out of the assumption that ONE of them had to be) took my order and passed it to the counter worker. She asked him, "You got all this?" He nodded and she walked away. Five minutes pass. Ten minutes pass (the other customer in before me brought a BOOK to read). Fifteen minutes pass. The counter worker puts a bag on top of the counter and shoves a sub into it and starts preparing the next. I get excited -- surely the woman reading the book is just hanging out in the store because it's cold. These must be my subs! I stand up and walk to the counter with an eager grin on my face - the counter worker looks at me, gives a brief shake of his head. I quickly feign interest in the rows of hot sauces on top of the counter. I stretch my arms and give the impression that I got out of my seat merely because I needed a change of position and wander around the counter to get a peek behind it. The counter worker is and has been preparing the subs for the first customer this entire time. She apparently ordered a five pack and he's doing them -- one - at - a - time. The manager person who asked if he could handle this? I can see them sitting on their ass in the back office room watching TV. SERIOUSLY?!?! It took another ten minutes before I got my order. There's no excuse, none. Every time I've been to this place it has been slow. The problem is obviously endemic of the management running the establishment and as of this last incident, I won't be back ... to THIS Firehouse.

A party in my mouth! The flavors of this "sub", and I hesitate to call it a sub because it was so much more than that, melted so well together. The bread was perfectly toasted and soft on the inside while the sandwich was just the right amount of warm. I had the Italian Combo - Fully Involved, which means it has everything on it. I highly recommend it. Another cool detail about this restaurant is that you can order the size of your sandwich. I chose the medium and ate almost every bite. Friends of mine had the Engineer which is turkey breast with sauteed mushrooms and loved that as well. The firefighters who created this place definitely knew what they were doing. When you step into this location you feel as if you stepped into an old firehouse. There's the hard wood floors, metal detailing and even a smokey firefighter's uniform. Just to your right, you catch a glimpse of a mural of a local building being saved by Gwinnett County Firefighters. An interesting touch. As you take a drink, your paper cup is plastered with real firefighters from around the country. It makes it all a little more real. This is definitely my new favorite sub place.

I just had the best meatball sub here two days ago. The owner also creates a relaxed work atmosphere and fosters a highly capable level of service here and in Snellville (1830 Scenic Hwy @ Pharrs Rd.).
