This place is like Cheers for me. The staff is very friendly and the food is good. It is on the greasy side but that is typical of southern food. The chicken fried steak burger is excellant. I like my fries well done and they are perfect every time.

Service wasn't that good for my to-go order of a fried chicken salad and after hearing rave reviews from my new co-workers I'm pretty disappointed. The salad itself is nothing to write home about. It's made worse by finding moldy cucumber in it. Yuck! Still waiting to be impressed by a Lawrenceville restaurant.

I have lived here 10 years...THIS PLACE SUCKs ON FOOD. Jan. 23, 2015 Coffee WONDERFUL!! FOOD never ever EVER again. I had Shrimp and grits...nasty, gross and over cooked. The grits were (MAKE A GRIT BALL) very FIRM and shrimp Not seasoned. My bf.had chopped steak that looked like a very dark poop flattened and cheap dry rub to follow. OMG!!! HORRIBLE... NOW, we are super foodies..going out often to eat and as of today I am going to start Yelping each time..at every LOCATION... THIS PLACE..NOT A SPOT FOR EXCITING FLAVORFUL FOOD!!! Worse than bland. No thanks

This place has the best veggie burgers I've ever had in my life. They aren't frozen. They taste made to order. I meant to take a picture but I ate it too quick. Ha Mashed potatoes kinda suck. But the veggie burger is amazinggggggg. The waitress was kinda annoying but otherwise service was good.

I come from a family of cooks. Usually I don't like southern restaurants because I can cook too. This place was delicious.

Sunday Brunch BUST...we decided to give Corner Stop another try after going by the Peachtree Cafe and finding it packed. In the past Corner Stop had tasty food but lacked on cleanliness. After this trip I can say don't know which was worse the food or the feeling of filth. The menus were so sticky and grimy...have you heard of Windex or 409?! The coffee was delicious, though I prefer mine in a mug without old coffee splatters on it. The gravy on my biscuits and gravy was see through. The bananas on the floppy pancakes were brown. We both took 2 bites and could eat no more. The manager very willingly comped the food...she didn't even question our concerns about the poor tasting food. You do the math :) Next time we'll wait the 10 minutes at Peachtree Cafe!!

Typical meat-and-three luncheonette found all around the South. Place was packed even at the end of the lunch hour so I expected better than it was but other than being really weird with honey butter on the biscuit (first time ever I received honey butter on a biscuit in 20+ years in Georgia) and calling field peas fresh garden peas (which are typically green peas) I can't say much bad about the place. Liked the quick friendly service, and the offer to take my remaining beverage with me to-go. Could use wi-fi, being 'on the square' in Lawrenceville I expect that many customers are there during their lunch break and would appreciate the convenience.

Just had lunch here. My server was nice and very courteous. That's all I can say good about this restaurant. I ordered grilled tilapia and they were out of tilapia. I looked over the menu and settled on the shrimp Caesar salad which was OK. When I paid for my food I expressed my dissatisfaction and the cashier made it clear he did NOT care and only wanted my money. If you're looking for good food and great customer service please pass right by this place.

Honey biscuits. That's about all I have to say. Great staff. Its the kind of place where it seems like the staff knows everybody's name, but if you're new you don't feel like an outsider.

This place was cute and cozy. Our waitress told us the building had been there for 150 years!! Prices were excellent and the drinks were served in mason jars. The waitress asked if we wanted to try the honey butter biscuits. Oh my gosh!! Best biscuits ever...so fluffy and sweet. I'm going back just for the biscuits! We ordered the pot roast special and the black eyed peas and squash casserole were excellent side dishes. Unfortunately they are only open Mon-Fri from 11-3 so it may be tough to try to get back for more biscuits! I'm definitely going back!!

I live a few miles from this place and have been dying to try this place. They are only open for lunch so I went there on my Thursday day off. The food here was beyond bad. The mash potatoes and gravy were instanta and bland. The okra was dried out and not good fried. The fried chicken was bland as well. I will not be going back.

how can you not love a place that has a sign that says, "best breasts in town"? not only that, but you walk by the kitchen on the way in and the chefs in the kitchen give you a huge smile and wave. charm. truly a southern gem. you know you're in for a treat when mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and fried okra are considered "veggies". but the winner here is the honey biscuits. my gosh, they're like drops of sunshine in your mouth. i would go back just for those. the honey biscuits is why i gave this place 4 stars. otherwise i'd give it a 3. they have lunch specials every day that include 2 sides and delectable honey biscuits. i didn't want anything heavy so i ordered the chicken salad sandwich, which was great, but you don't want to hear about the chicken salad sandwich, you want to hear about the southern fried chicken. i had a piece of my friend's cause i had to try it. it was fried very well with a great golden brown skin, but the breast was just a tiny bit on the dry side. not enough to ruin my lunch, but just enough to be a little disappointed with the "best breasts in town." servers were super nice. it can get a little cramped during the lunch rush but that wouldn't deter me from coming back. after leaving the restaurant the chefs gave me and my friends another huge smile and wave as we hit the parking lot. charm.

When you walk in this establishment, you feel like you are in the South for sure! This place reminds me of Fried Green Tomatoes - cozy and quaint. The sweet tea is served in Mason Jars, and the daily lunch specials are a steal. $6.95 for a meat and two, along with a honey buttered biscuit. The food is certainly not the best home cookin' but it is pretty good. I'll be back on my lunch breaks! Oh, and it is only open during lunch hours.
