I was a little hesitant because of the negative review underneath this one. But, Osaka is closed for the next two weeks and I was craving Hibachi. We decided to try out Bonzai. The only reason I'm taking off stars is because the place smells kind of weird (I'm guessing from the fish tanks in the front), and it was empty during dinner rush. Also, I think our waiter was new because he was extremely awkward which made me feel awkward. With that being said, our hibachi chef was amazing! He was an older guy and super friendly and our food was amazing. The shrimp sauce was not watered down and the rice was very very good. We also got noodles with our meal which was a nice extra. The food is definitely competitive with Osaka's hibachi but the chef was way nicer, but the atmosphere is meh.

Came in at 6:30 on a Saturday night, they had one chef and there were 3 tables ahead of us. We didn't have an hour to wait for food, so we left, and they still charged us for the drinks that we barely touched. The lobby smells as well. You can - and probably should - do better.

I'm giving this only 1 star and that is because the waitress was friendly. The place was not as clean as a restaurant should be. I ordered the steak and chicken combo, but didn't make it that far. The waitress brought my soup out while we were waiting for the cook, and there was a roach floating in it. I will never return to this restaurant!

I've been going here for years and have never had a bad meal. Maybe been fifty or a hundred times. The portions are good sized and reasonably priced. I always get a combination of steak, chicken, or shrimp and tastes spectacular. The owners are good people and very friendly. When I go to other ones out of the area I get a little sad because they don't match up.

Food was ok wasn't the best hibachi grill place I've been to. The server and owner was really nice. If you are from out of town don't order water or their iced/sweet tea it has funky taste to it. Stick with coke products.

If I could give less than one star I would. I got the chicken and shrimp Hibachi. The rice was so bland I had to add more soy sauce to give it any kind of flavor. The shrimp sauce didn't help at all because it was so watered down. When I finally got to the main course, the shrimp was over cooked. The chicken. God it's the worst chicken I ever tasted. Not only was it dry but whatever sauce he drenched it in tasted like cilantro and was inedible. Worst meal I've had in quite a while. Don't go here ever.

Our favorite place! Great food and great service. I always get the teriyaki chicken and tempura.
