Have been coming to this town often. Saw the restaurant and it was closed on Sunday. Came this time during the week and it was great. Best greek salad ever. Plates are running over and the prices are low. You will need a to-go-box. Worth the 450 mile trip. If you have the chance this is a must see kind of place. About two miles off interstate 85 and worth the extra to get there.

We have been to Nikos twice and each time we enjoyed our meal. We live about 30 miles away so we do not get a chance to go often. In addition to the Greek dishes, there are Italian and American favorites. The menu is quite extensive. We go for the Greek and enjoy the Gyros and Gyros platter. There is a good selection of beers and wines. The little village of Hogansville is quaint and inviting and has a couple of good places for antique browsing. Nikos is a happy place and we shall be returning. It may also be nice for a romantic dinner in that it has that sort of character. The chef will likely greet you at the door.

So glad we stopped for lunch, with 3 kids. Excellent Greek food, American food also available. Very large portions (we took boxes). Even kids plates could feed an adult. Great service by Denise. We will come back!

Talk about an absolute MUST TRY! We stopped in and ordered the Gyro Plate and the Greek Plate. The salads were loaded with Feta and tasty as can be. The gyro meat was seasoned to perfection. Tzatziki sauce was perfect. Hands down the BEST roasted red potatoes we have ever had. Our only complaint is that we didn't bring a big enough appetite! We even foolishly ordered the fries topped with melted cheese. Needless to say, we left with packed go boxes. The amount of food for the money is unparalleled! An absolutely phenomenal mom and pop Greek dining experience! Thanks Denise and Niko!

Wow. What an excellent lunch. We stopped in on a whim on a Saturday afternoon and we're incredibly impressed. Nicko and his wife were delightful hosts. I knew I was hooked when they brought out the hot pita bread and tzatziki sauce. I had the gyro platter and couldn't finish - it was excellent and plentiful. This is well worth a scenic drive to Hogansville.

Excellent Greek and American food served here! This is not fast food, so be prepared to enjoy some time to visit with friends when you go. Portions are huge, so keep that in mind when you order. The baklava is some of the best ever. The chef is quite friendly and usually visits with diners too. This is authentic Greek that you may not find elsewhere. He told us that one Saturday evening people were lined up all the way to the highway. Delicious! We will be back.

This is the third or fourth time we have been here. The food is so good. And, yes you will need a box to take some home. Niko and Denise are super friendly too. The Greek style pork chops are fabulous and do not miss the homemade sausage yum!
