The food was very good and the err cold and good. the only draw back is the size, small and cramped, we were sitting near the door and of course it was opened several times, 92 outside and very warm inside. The food was very good so, oh well!

Was recommended to this place by a local. Went in right at open on a Sunday at 11am. Family of five. Food was great! Sampled off all our other plates, nothing disappointing. Nice decor and friendly staff. I would recommend to others in search of German dishes.

My wife and I just ate here for her birthday. Food was good, nice atmosphere. Get the Pretzel as the appetizer - it is amazing. We had the wurst platter. 2 brats and a knock wurst both types of sausage were really good. The red cabbage has a interesting taste - sweet and sour. We split the platter - an extra plate was $2.00 but beat wasting the sides. Staff was friendly and service was fast.

Service is very friendly and attentive. Draft beer selection could be better. Food was best German in town, so good we went back for dinner the next night.

It is unfortunate when the owner changed, the menu has changed, my favorite Spatzel with smoked ham in cream sauce has been taken off the menu.

Stopped here on our trip for some authentic German food and this place did not disappoint. The place was empty and we were the third customer of the day. Ordered the Hungarian guloush soup, amazing! By far my favorite dish. I tried the knock wurst with sauerkraut and German potato salad. Loved this but would suggest ordering the knock wurst by itself, minus all the extra bread. My boyfriend tried the Oktoberfest sampler, everything was great. Also a large variety of German beers to choose from, over 96!

On Saturday April 5, 2014, Tony and I was walking around the quaint Village of Helen, Ga. We were walking down an alley between the shops and saw some steps leading upstairs above the Old Bavarian Inn...I found a great BAR and I was so excited. Tucked way back among a slew of other shoppes. It reminded me of when I lived in Germany and I wanted Tony to experience a GERMAN PUB...and it was the closest we found. The barmaid was very friend. We tried some deep fried Mac n cheese..it was okay..I would write home about it. Tony drank a really good Pilsner draft. I snuck a few sips and enjoyed it quite a bit. Out of all the different biers he ordered this was my favorite. I would definitely like to go back to this great little bar above the alley way.

My fiancé and I took a day trip to Helen, and decided to give the Old Bavaria Inn a try. It took a little while to get a table, but the food was really yummy. We both loved our meals. I can't remember the exact name, but it was the wurst sandwich, and I subbed my side for a potato pancake. Yum! The only downside was that the service was a bit slow. Other than that, we had a nice time. We would definitely eat there again.

They were very accommodating of our large party. The food was good and the service was decent. Lunch prices were fair but dinner looked quite pricey.

We were rather disappointed with this restaurant. We had been wanting to try it coz it was hidden off the beaten path and looked very authentic. I'm giving it two stars coz my daughter's jäger schnitzel was good. But, our Rouladen was very dry and cold and red cabbage was very vinegary and mushy. I asked for water, even the water was gross and not drinkable at all. It tasted like river water. Ick! For what we paid for this meal, it was a complete waste of money. No wonder they're off the beaten path. We will not eat here again and will not recommend this place for food. Maybe the beer at the pub is better and maybe the pretzel is good. I would hope you can't go wrong with that. :(

Tiny, cute, good food. I was so sad that when I went there my tongue was all chewed up so I couldn't taste the food as well as I would've liked. It was delicious anyway. Some day I'll re-visit.

The atmosphere was great and so was the service. If I had never had German food before I would have thought better of the food. I have had authentic German food and this was not. The pretzel was excellent though.

We went for 4-6 pm Happy Hour: half price beers and free popcorn and riblets. While I enjoyed the free and half off factors, I had a hard time getting over the smoking and the very small and dark "lounge" that everyone was crammed into. I mean I love getting my drunk redneck friends together to watch the UGA - Florida game and to mouth off, but must there be so much smoking and so little ventilation? The two lady servers in dirndls were fabulous and knew their stuff. Did I say free riblets? Beats the $20 schnitzel downstairs.

I was in town for Oktoberfest and decided to try Old Bavaria. It was my first time trying German food, so I had a looot of questions. The server gave great recommendations and was very friendly. I like the atmosphere; there was German music playing and if you watch the way everyone interacts, you would think you're at home with family. Parking is in the rear, and after our meal, we needed to take a stroll. They have authentic German food, but American traditional food as well. The portion size was amazing, I had enough for leftovers. We also tried the tiny beers, and they were delicious. Whenever I travel to Helen, I will definitely go back!

We had a great time here while visiting Helen, GA. It is small and cozy with great German food. 3 of us were vegetarians and we were able to find great side dishes for our meal! Awesome location as well.

My husband and I went there with high hopes after several recommendations. It is obvious that I had a completely different experience then the people who have high ratings for this restaurant. When we walked in the hostess said it would be about 10-15 min and gave us a hand written scrap piece of paper for our number. When we were seated the chairs were broken and we had to change seats. After watching the hostess hop around the dining area and run up and down the stairs it became quiet comical and made me wonder exactly what type of place I chose to have my lunch. I ordered the goulash soup and my husband ordered the pork chop sandwhich. My soup was not a soup but a Brunswick stew and did not have ANY flavor. The pork chop sandwhich was ridiculous. The meat was the size of the plate with a standard hamburger bun. This sandwhich again had no flavor and was dry. After our meal we noticed the hostess throwing the silverware arohng and setIng the tables. She dropped one of the silverware placements on the floor, picked it up and placed it on the table. OMG...I just ate here. This place needs an overhaul! Deep cleaning, fresh paint, new hostess and an updated menu!

This, I'm sorry to say, was the worst meal we had on our vacation. The place is tiny and was warm inside. Our group stood awkwardly at the hostess stand while our table was prepared. We were seated, and it was TIGHT and uncomfortable. Service started off ok, although our server seemed to be the only one working the entire place. She was visibly exasperated and taxed. Our food took a loooong time to arrive. When it did mine was way over salted. The spatzel was so greasy I couldn't even eat it. Even my son said his grilled cheese was nasty. How do you mess up grilled cheese?? We sent it back in exchange for a hot-dog and it took a ridiculously long time for a stinking hot dog!! Seriously?!? When who I would assume to be the manager stopped by and we told her about our trouble she didn't seem to care or take any steps to correct the situations. Our friends have been here before and like it so maybe they were just having a really, REALLY off day? What a waste of a meal and a disgrace to the German food heritage this restaurant was!

They have wonderful food. This is the 2nd time we have been here and it's always good. The spatzle with black forest ham, parmeasean cheese, and cream is amazing. They also have very good brutwurst. The schnitzel is amazing as well. Good atmosphere and wonderful service.

We enjoy stopping by this German Restaurant when in Helen. There jumbo pretzel is great especially with the beer cheddar sauce. I will admit almost $10 for a pretzel is a bit pricey plus $3 for the cheese sauce. However we don't get that treat often so we figure it's worth the splurge. The portion sizes are good. Prices are a little higher then others in the Helen area but the quality of food is consistent. Service is always great. We were disappointed as we enjoy when they have live music which doesn't start until a few more weeks. They have an accordion player who is hilarious!

The Old Bavaria Inn has an excellent German lunch menu with several sandwich options and they offered a few American sandwiches. The German beer options are endless too. I enjoyed the Debrecena Dog. The spicy Hungarian hotdog was served with sauerkraut and grilled onions on a hoagie and came with a side of German potato salad. I washed all this down with an ice cold German draft beer. Yum!

Good menu and selections of some German staples. The interior when you enter looks like a authentic German Restaurant. We just Had a few appetizers, The Spatzle and the Pretzel. I can't vouch for it but both are said to be flown in? They survive the flight and taste great. The pretzle is HUGE, served with a whipped butter and to spread the butter over this Hot pretzle was delicious. Not a Shopping mall Pretzle by any means. The Spatzle was good also, prepared in the usual manner and they serve it in a cream based sauce that is creamy and delicious.

Stopped in here for lunch on Sunday 9/1/13. As soon as you walk in you see the staff dressed up like the sterotypical Bavarian Alps look. I loved that since that is what the town looks like to begin with. Think Clark Griswold in European vacation when he visits Germany. They even had a guy singing and playing the accordian that makes you smile at the absudity of the look and sound. I say absurd but in a good way. They had quite a few different German style beers in bottle and tap. I had the Krombacher Hefeweissen and it was perfect for a hot summer day. The girlfriend got the dunkel which may have been a little to thick for the time. We both ordered the german sausage dogs with sourkraut and mustard. Really good! Perfect for what we wanted. The waitress was very nice and gave perfect service. I'd definitely stop back if I was in the area.

Good food but a little pricey. Service was very good. The pretzel with beer cheese was amazing but not sure why they serve it with a side of butter. I would definitely eat here again. I wish they had a better draught beer selection.

Yes, this place is touristy-- but you can say that about the entire town of Helen, with it's German village feel and all. We were in the area for a quick Sunday day trip hike up to see Ruby Falls (I recommend you do this too) and decided to walk around town with our Great Danes. My family was hungry and I asked around for a good place to eat that would be welcoming of my giant puppies and we were referred to the Old Bavaria Inn, where dogs of all sizes are welcome to the indoor bar section. AWESOME! If you're a germ-o-phobe or a terrible human being that just doesn't like dogs, don't worry, the bulk of this establishment is a dog free zone. Now on to the food... It was tasty and very high in fat with highlights being the giant pretzel appetizer served with butter and a couple different kinds of hearty mustards. And the ham and pork dishes were delicious and filling. The service was friendly and attentive with a family feel in the section we were sitting in. It was the kind of place where total strangers talk to each other and it's totally cool. Everyone was happy to give their food recommendations (patrons & staff alike) and they were all great calls. Although we didn't order it, many people raved about the Reuben sandwich. Good German beer selection and abundant cheesy Bavarian bric-a-brac on the walls. I went during the off season, so we had zero wait to get seated, expect some significant delays getting a table during the April-October tourist season.

Closer to the intersection of main and river street, not where the marker is. This place is tucked away with a slew of other German themed shops and restaurants. The food was just ok and slightly overpriced. There was no music playing and we were the only two customers in the restaurant when my friend and I visited, so it was a little creepy. Check out the sign outside the building and close to the street for 10% off entrees and sandwiches.

I love a great Reuben. As it turns out, I also love a face meltingly amazing Reuben. In Georgia. Until now, the trophy for the most mouth meltingliset, rye breadiest, most delicious Reuben I've ever had went to Owen O'Leary's in Brockton, MA. [No, I have not yet had a Reuben in New York City. Yes, I realize I would probably get a really authentic, really delicious (and really big) one if I went to the right place, but I will in good time.] Until then, this is my new, preferred, much more difficult to get to spot for a Reuben - which I will get to in a moment. Beers? Yeah. A lot. Big ones. Steins. Every glass-topped table has a drink menu carefully placed under it, so your choice of beer is the first thing you see and naturally, the first thing you need to concentrate on. Despite all the unpronounceable options, I opted for a more traditional Yuengling Light. Other food? Yeah. I got a cup of the Hungarian Goulash soup, and I wish I got a bowl. I never had Goulash before; it reminded me of a very hearty beef stew but...with different spices and consistency. My Reuben came with my choice of side, and given the type of restaurant I was in, I opted for the German potato salad. ORDER THIS. Just like my grandmother makes, and as Guy Fieri would say, it is "money." REUBEN. It had grilled rye bread, was not too buttery, and the sauerkraut was perfect. The corned beef was rediculo-tender and the cheese was completely melted in with just a little thousand-island type dressing (also mixed in with the meat/cheese.) If you like a good Reuben, go here, eat it, and try to tell me that it isn't good.

Cute decor, high quality Helen experience. There was live accordion music, really laid back atmosphere with attentive service. My boyfriend and I both had the Jäger Schnitzel, one breaded and one Bavarian style, both amazing and tastily complemented with spätzle. The portions were huge!

Vegetarian platter not listed, combo hot/cold item. Way better then I had anticipated for a German restaurant! My sister: Reuben rolls and sauerkraut on the side she said they were delicious - warning to veggies, there's meat in it! My mom: Reuben and moaned the whole time she was eating. She said it was quite possibly the beat Reuben she's ever had! My dad:1/2 sandwich (ham/Swiss) & soup. He said he loved his sandwich until he tasted the Reuben! Friendly staff and enjoyable beer.

Had their specialty, the Reuben. It was terrible. Had the German potato salad, again it was awful. Gave em a 1 star because that's as low as you can go.

One of the best appetizers I have ever had here! The Ruben Rolls are basically a ruben sandwich inside of a wrapped wonton resembling an egg roll. Served with a side of very authentic mustard. This place is a must-stop for a quick bite every trip. The atmosphere is very German and quaint

Just got back. My husband had the Reuben after hearing all the reviews. He is very picky about Reubens and he really liked it! He substituted the potato pancake and liked that too. I ordered a la carte and got the Spaetzle and the Gulash soup. The spaetzle was very authentic and appeared to be made in house and not a dried box mix although I did not ask. The water is bottled but is free if you purchase alcohol. We thought all the food was very good overall. A lot of people complained about the prices...I guess they did not eat anywhere else in Helen either. They are the same as all other German restaurants in town. Also people said it was cheesy but having lived most of my life in Germany that is actually what these type of Restaurants look like inside. Even the small dining area and being off of an alleyway are coincidentally authentic.

Ever since I left Germany, I have been actively searching for a good, authentic German restaurant and after eating here I can happily say my search is over! This beautiful bavarian restaurant is centrally located in Helen GA, the sister city of Fussen Germany. Helen itself is a recreation of an alpine village with tons of shops, restaurants, events, and cabins. It's a bit touristy, but still TONS of fun! Now on to the Old Bavaria Inn, The entire restaurant looks as though it came out of a postcard. The restaurant itself is rather tiny, so during peak season things can get a little cramped, but the food, atmosphere, staff, and beer makes that tiny inconvenience more than worth it! Starting off, I would recommend the pretzel for your appetizer! It's a behemoth, so one will be more than enough to share. A personal word of caution, the mustard served with the pretzel is really spicy... So if you're not used to it, be prepared to have your sinuses opened! :) Now for the main course.. I have been here the times and each main course I have ordered has been mind blowing! The wiener schnitzel is great and so is my personal favorite, weiswurst! I can't say much for the dessert because I've always been way too full to order any, but from what I read they have an apple dish that is really good!

If you're in Helen, you HAVE to eat here. The food is probably a 4/5, and the setting 3/5, but it's easily the most authentic, best tasting German food in this German-themed town. The schnitzels, wursts, and pretzels are fan favorites. Service is friendly and knowledgeable.

Put off immediately by dusty woodwork then they served my husband a beer that was almost a year past the expiration date. It tasted fine and we would not have complained if the food had been decent...but...I ordered the Wiener schnitzel, maybe it was just me but the fried tasting spaetzel turned me off, the schnitzel was tasteless and gristly. I did not care for the red cabbage, but hubby liked it. When I complained they offered to bring me something else, what's the point then? They gave me 10% off the entree bill and were shocked that the beer was out of date. No compensation offered. When they started sweeping the floor before we finished our meal you could tell they were ready to go. Totally disgusting to me.

Very very good reuben. Food and drinks alittle pricy but worth it if you'll give it a try.

  • Tara H.

Okay, let's start with the good, and then leave on a bad note, for a change. Their food is really good. My hubby and I split the wiener schnitzel and we got double spaetzle instead of red cabbage. It's a good portion size. We also ordered the potato pancake appetizer, which I liked a lot. Okay, that's about all for the good. Here's the bad. First, I asked what the soup of the day was. Our waiter didn't know, so he had to go ask, which is fine. Then, as the waiter brought out drinks, he handed them to you from across the table, making you reach across everyone to get it. Not cool. Also not cool that he expected you to hand him your plates when he was cleaning off the table. He held his hand out for mine, and I leaned back in my seat to give him a clear shot at my plate, which he hesitantly grabbed. Also, you don't clean up the table (like straw wrappers, cracker wrappers & such) while everyone is in the middle of eating. They add 20% gratuity on to parties of six or more, charge $1.50 for any substitutions, and also charge a $2.00 split charge fee. While most of these annoy me (since you're splitting a $20 meal, I don't think you should be charged a split plate charge, but that's just me) I have to give them credit where credit is due. All of this is spelled out on the menu for you, and before the waiter put our orders in, he made sure we were aware of these extra charges. I also don't like to have to ask for a drink refill. That's just a given. If my glass is empty, refill it.

We took a day trip to Helen, just to check the place out. Since the theme if the town is German, we went for some German food. I have to admit, I liked the decor and old guy playing the music live while we ate. The food was decent, not the best and I've had much worse. Like many other reviewers have noted, its expensive for what you get. Charging $2 for water is crazy, it was either pay it or go elsewhere so we gave it a shot. Overall, it was an ok experience, but once was enough for us.

Went for the weekend to Unicoi Park. Since Helen is a little Germany she wanted schnitzel of some sort. We got there when they opened at 11am. I looked over the beer selection and had none on tap. I love a good hefe on tap. The wife ordered a weiner schnitzel for $18.99, she did enjoy it but my wallet didn't. I grabbed a black forest sandwich to go with my bottled hefe. The sandwich was not the best I have had but it wasn't too bad either. Water was bottled, free bread was pretty good and the waitress dressed the part. I dropped $50 on the two of us.

This place is great! Food comes out fast and hot. Staff are friendly and very attentive. The Ruben sandwich is the best from what my husband says and I like their pork schnitzel sandwich (HUGE!) and their sweet tea is good too. Will visit again!

A few friends and I were in Helen for the day, and decided to grab a bite to eat before leaving. After visiting Munich last year and tasting how wonderful authentic German food was, I really wanted to share the experience with my friends. However I was sorely disappointed with the food and service we got at Bavarian Inn. To begin with, this restaurant is horrendously OVERPRICED, and rely on unsuspecting tourists for business (like our party, unfortunately). $18 for two sausages is really a bit much, imho. When we asked for water, our waitress told us curtly that they "don't have tap water" and that it would be $2/bottle. To add insult to injury, they tag on a $2 per person if you want to share a plate (mind you, not split a plate, just sharing), and a $1.50 for any substitutions. To be fair, all of this is clearly enumerated at the bottom of the menu and our waitress did point it out to us. I still think it's tacky and poor customer service. I would have been ok with the price if the food had been good. However after waiting 40+ min (in the late afternoon, pre dinner-rush), our food came out rather lukewarm. Everyone in our party ordered something different: Knockwurst - unimpressive Hungarian sausage - tasted exactly like the knockwurst Reuben - pretty good, actually Turkey soup - so laden with salt that it was not edible Sauerkraut - on the bland side Burger and fries - no complaints! Finally, there was a 20% gratuity added to our bill for our party of 5. Isn't the norm 18% for a party of 6+? Our waitress ignored us before we got our food, then came back repeatedly after we started eating - so much so that we were feeling quite rushed. The waitress even asked if she could clear a plate when our friend still had a fork poised over the plate, mid-bite. I couldn't help but think that she would've treated us better if she wasn't guaranteed that 20% tip. Bottom line: Overpriced, mediocre food, and sub-par service.

Honestly I'm not a huge fan of German food, it's just my personal choice. I tagged alog with the group because they were in the mood for some Schnitzel. We walked into the Old Bavaria Inn and were greeted by a friendly server in full German garb. It's totaly a hole in wall but my experience has been that these are usualy the BEST places to eat. We sat down immediately, the service was pretty attentive. Immediately, the accordion player on stage acknoledgwed us and from that time on it was all songs and good times. I was the odd man out that orderd the angus buger. I know, sacrilege... but I'm not a big fan of sauercraut and cabbage. Everyone else went for the Rubens and Schnitzel. We ordered a pretzel to snack on while the food came and it was spectacular.... yes, i'm using the word spectacular to descibe a pretzel. It was served hot, soft and with whipped butter, really...there is nothing better. You could taste that it was fresh. The food came along a short while after and everything was delish. We skipped dessert because we had our eye on the Hanzel and Gretel Cnady store just down the block, but they did have a nice selection available. I would return, we had a great time and the group was happy with the food. I would recommed it if you are ever in the mood for German food while visiting Helen.

I ate here for dinner with my husband and best friend during Octoberfest. The food was excellent and the portions were huge. I had the trout, my husband had a sandwich, and my friend had some meat dish. We did have to wait 45 min. to be seated but we expected this and other than this service was ok. We were very satisfied and left a good tip. But I didn't realize how bad I was duped until I steeped and started to feel dizzy. I went to the gift shop next door where the waitress told me I could find the amazing mustard that was on the table. It was so good I put it on everything on my plate, and I am usually not big on mustard. I found the mustard and flipped it over to check the ingredients as I have food allergies. It had quite a bit of yeast in it which I am very allergic to. I told the waitress this before I ordered. I went back asked the lady at the desk if they used the same brand of mustard and they did. I told her I that I told the waitress that I was allergic to yeast . She just look at me weird, not even an apology. I barley made it back to my hotel with out passing out, throwing up the whole way. The rest of my vacation was ruined. It is now a week later and I am still recovering and will be for the next 1-2 weeks. This place is great if you are normal but if you have food allergies stay away, they don't care. It amazes me how careless some restaurants are these days. There are many people that would sue over something like this. They are fortunate I am not one of those people. If my allergy was a little more severe as in many people or if I had eaten more yeast I would have to be hospitalized. I would be forced to sue then to pay my medical bills. I guess I can't go out to eat anymore while on vacation.

Very nice. They have an acordian player, who is very friendly and personable. Service was timely and very nice. Food was hot, hot, hot! Very tasty! Also had the Apple Strudel for desert. Very good, served hot topped with whipped cream.

Great service! Sausage selection is small, bier variety is enormus! Pretzle is outstanding. Plus..... They have a gift shop! Did I mention the music is great? Anywho, if your in helen ga you owe it to yourself to eat here. Looking back on my visit this is the best restraunt in Helen. Great staff. P.S. Tray the Goulash for an appetizer along or the pretzle. Both are excellent. PROST!!!

Took some out of town friends to Helen for the day along with the g/f and my sister and B-I-L and we ended up here after having eaten at another German restaurant last time with the g/f and having a bad experience there. Well, we should have just given up with the last experience. The food here wasnt bad, it wasnt great, but it wasnt bad. I guess I am a bit of a German food snob since I used to work (and cook) at a German restaurant in college. The server we had was either ill prepared, or could just care less. He didnt know the menu, seemed relatively indifferent about most anything and, when clearing the table, expected us to hand him our dirty dishes over the heads of our dining companions. When the g/f asked for some water, they brought out a bottled water which I thought they were going to charge us for, but in the end it was free (well, included in the price.) Speaking of which, the prices here were a little higher than I would have expected given the food quality, but when you are in Helen, you almost come to expect that. I will continue my quest for good German food in Helen but honestly dont expect it to come close to the place I used to work at in Stone Mountain. Too sad..

Just go for the beer & pretzels!!! Don't be duped like we were. I expected overpriced German food in Helen, and I was not disappointed at Old Bavarian Inn. The downstairs bar is tight, and the upstairs lounge is crowded with karaoke singers, but the very small dining room is cute. Nice decor & cozy. The Warsteiner beer on draft was fabulous, and an OK value at $5.95, but I'd get the larger one next time for $8.95. The pretzel, as the pictures attest, are huge and fabulous!! The menu says they import them from Munich. The are hot, doughy, salty & delicious, and the whipped butter that comes with them is nice. There are also 2 good mustards on the table; one a spicy horseradish & vinegar mustard and the other a mild whole grain mustard. We made the mistake of ordering another app of 'fresh, beer-battered mushrooms' for $9.00. They were nothing more than greasy frozen Sysco-type mushrooms. Nothing special at all and surely not worth $9!! I ordered the Beef Rouladen, which was to be stuffed with onions, bacon, dill pickle & mustard. It came with spaetzle & red cabbage, for which I substituted green beans. The Rouladen was super tough and appeared to be a poor quality cut of meat. It looked like to cheap tenderized beef patties, like you'd find in the budget section of your grocery store. If properly prepared, they would have been slow-braised and fork tender. These were tough and dry, but the bacon inside was somewhat undercooked and as such a little raw. The spaetzle looked good but was utterly tasteless, with only the sparest sprinkling of parsley. Salt, pepper & a little of the Rouladen gravy helped it a little. The green beans were amazingly green, i.e. unnaturally so, but they were by far the best thing on my plate. I told the waitress that the entree was tough, and she did take 10%off my bill; the entree cost $19.00 To sum it up, the 2 best things we had at the Old Bavarian Inn were the two items they didn't make in-house! Stick to the beer & pretzels here & enjoy!!

Had the pretzel and beer cheese. The beer cheese was bland and the pretzel was okay .

We ordered the 4 different sausages meal and the pork loins that aren't breaded with the spaetzel, not sure how it is spelled. The pictures show the foods. They were excellent, we shared meals with our 2 daughters. With tax / tip under $45.00, and plenty of food.

Authentic German food! Highlights were the Ham Hock (listed as Dinner for two) and pickled herring. Absolutely delicious and fairly priced. Service was attentive. Would recommend!

Had dinner here. Food and service was EXCELLENT. I had the wieners, sauerkraut, and German potato salad. My wife had the Hungarian goulash. Absolutely delicious. Prices are a tad high but not too bad. The décor is mildly tacky but the issue preventing me from giving the Old Bavaria Inn 5 stars was the condition of the restrooms - definitely need more frequent cleaning and resupply.
