My husband and I went there for the first time today. The cashier was extremely friendly and when I told her this was our first time there, she became excited. We asked her what she suggested and she started showing and telling us all the stuff she likes. We both went with BBQ chicken. I got sweet corn and lima beans. My husband got brunswick stew and mac and cheese. It was phenomenal! I have yet to find a mac and cheese I liked since I started making my own homemade mac. The chicken was juicy, even without the sauce on it. The waitress seemed to be the only one working the floor and she handled it like a pro. My husband and I will definitely be back!

There is a guy that serves the food that always says delicious and he is the main reason I come to this location! The food is excellent

Used to love this place. Super disappointed that they would just close at 10:30 even though their website clearly states that the close 11. Wish they honored people's time.

If you're looking for Southern home cooking in Atlanta this is a definite place to go. The Fayetteville location is great....but other locations in the city might leave a bit to desire.

The food is good in the restaurant but the customer service in the corporate facility stinks. They won't return calls. If you are lucky enough to rent the facility they may or may not show up for your event.

I came here with my friend visiting lives in Riverdale area right outside of Atlanta. I went on southern find looking for some of the best BBQ or true southern food down south. My journey took me too this place called This Is It! BBQ and Seafood. Although not my friends first choice thought it was something else but decided too give it try. Try was all about I can say about it. I had the pulled pork sandwich that cane with texas toast bread instead of normal bun. Also tried three sides mac and cheese, collard greens, and sweet potatoes. The pulled pork meat by itself was good nothing special or the bbq sauces they offered from hot too mild (I went with the hot). The thing that really put bad taste in my mouth was the fact just not enough pulled pork in between. Sure texas toast might be more traditional southern way but when not overflowing with meat every bite just not pulled pork sandwich. Every bite eating more bread then pulled pork. Ratio was definitely not what I expect or hoped for since was down south. The sides where all ok the mac and cheese could have been more cheesier or creamy texture. The collard greens could have use more salt I adde more in my sides. The sweet potatoes were exactly that sweet potatoes not much depth of flavor then the obvious. Overall just average bbq at best. Sure nothing that would take the drive outside of Atlanta too get. The service was good. It cafeteria style concept you go up pick your entree, then pick your sides, and if want get desserts too. It sit yourself wherever you find table. They do have server that stops with your utensils, warm greeting, and cleans up the table for you. The management very much friendly, helpful, and greeted you with smile. The area of town not exactly the greatest of suburbs. One wall they show the history of the company in timeline fashion. I liked that little interior design certainly gave it personality all its own. Not someplace would come back too again for bbq.

This BBQ definitly "wasnt it". Soul food disapointment is what this was. The sauce for the BBQ was off, and the meat itself was "off the rack" just some asembly line meat. Think of a burger you made yourself with ground beef seasoned or a burger made at a sit down resturant compared to cheese burger at Mc Donalds. "This is it" meat is the Mc Donalds, which is horrible for BBQ and for the price they charge. What saved this place were theyre sides and lemonade, so yall get the 2stars from me.

I just left there after ordering dinner for my family and I ordered the fried green tomatoes, we waited for a good 10 mins and whilst I was getting annoyed bc the rest of my dinner was getting cold there was a beautiful lady who asked me what was my number, the cashier did not give me an order number but I told her what I was waiting on and she quickly informed me it was up in 3 mins and she was right, they even compensate us with an extra side and she thanked me for my patience and it made me feel much better, thank you nice lady in the blue shirt.

Customer Service always has and always will be a deal breaker, so at this point, this particular establishment will no longer receive my business because of lack of customer service skills. My experience: I decided that I wanted desert only. Being that the line was extremely long, I decided to go straight to the front, where only one other person was being helped by the cashier, whom was a gentleman. A few minutes later, a lady came. Initially she skipped right over me, and helped a lady whom had been through the line as if I wasn't there; however, I overlooked it. Then she immediately goes to a gentleman, and after giving her a look, she addressed me, and told me that I would have to go through the food line, even though I told her that I didn't want food. She just continued to do whatever she was doing, so I walked out. I was extremely annoyed, but decided since I was headed to Camp Creek that I would just go over there. I actually called in advance, and told Shante' that I wanted to place an to go order for desert, and after finding out that that was all that I wanted, she told me to just go staight to the cashier, and they would fix it once I got there........ interesting. They instructed me to do the same thing that this caused this location to refuse to service me. It was at that point that I realized that I would just never give them my business again. I've been to these restaurants many times, and almost never do people go through the line without having to contemplate on what they will have that day. I am one who really does try to support black owned businesses, but each time that I have attempted to do so in the Atlanta area, I am reminded why I 'd rather go to other establishments and spend m money. Although I live in Texas, I spend a great deal of my time in Atlanta for work, and due to the fact that I don't eat fast food at all, I like to have food that is as close to home cooked as possible. This place in Union City, off of Roosevelt Hwy and This is It were my top two places to eat due to the fact that there was such a variety; however, today really has me reconsidering. Whether or not I will just not give the chain my business or just this particular location, I'm not sure, but I do know that going forward, I will not request anything from this particular location. Customer service will always be key for consumers. It's important to give customers what they want (within reason) and even if it is something that you just cannot provide, the way you let them know makes a big difference. To be dismissive to any individual when you are the provider of any goods/services is never a good thing.

This Ain't It is what this place should be renamed. The service was horrible. Lady in line before us had been waiting for 10 minutes before anyone acknowledge her and we brought it to their attention. I ordered the beef ribs-- tougher than old cow hide, poor cut of meat, drowning in sauce and not very satisfying for $13. I could not bite into the ribs and had to cut them with a dull knife. Got enough meat to equal one small rib. Macaroni and cheese was overcooked and the corn muffin was either reheated and hardened or simply stale and flavorless. We ordered a drink, which was so sweet it was diabetic coma inducing. No cutlery and the meatloaf was like SPAM. Green beans weren't too bad. What a huge letdown. This was the worst meal EVER! Will not be returning or recommending this place. I'd have to be starving and this my only option. Want to support Black business, but they made it real tough.

Nothing special about this place. The food is good. It,s cafeteria style and most of their entrees are BBQ. The vegetables are very. I love their cabbage and cornbread. Everything else is tasty.
