I specifically asked if anything I had ordered had beans in it and it does. I repeatedly asked for water and the server was not attentive at all. I had to send back my chalupa to have it cooked correctly.

This place is terrible. I have been living in S.Fulton area for years and this use to be my go to neighborhood mexican spot. NEVER AGAIN. The service is TERRIBLE and SLOW. They so call have new management and nothing has change it still the same bad service. They really should close down the food is not even that good, the restaurant is dirty and smells weird. The hostess as well as the servers are RUDE as hell. Then have a nerves to want a tip.. The one server guy with the big earrings is a smart A@$. Never again!!!!

This is far from the best Mexican food I've had in my life. I've been to this location several times. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but now that I've given them several chances it's time to call it. The food is bland & the customer service is worse than the food. Thank God my job is moving out of this location.

Not good services at all. Cold cheese dip, wrong order, menu had a hair on it and very dirty!

The only thing I can say is this place is convenient. I work nearby and I must admit last summer the food and service at this place was excellent. This summer I hate to even have lunch or dinner here. I only go because its close by but now I have opted to get nachos at just turkey which are way less expensive and taste better. I think that the staff has an idgaf attitude because they know its just a job. I would recommend that the owner read and improve from what's being said in these reviews. The salsa was so salty I refused go eat it. The cheese is not clearly stated melted or sauce and can oftenly be mistaken. Huge bummer! I hate melted cheese and to simply add a ladel on top is not how you compromise. Smh I am not 100% done with this location because like I said its convenient but I'm sure that they are only one trip away from being history in my book. Good luck

Really bad service. Our waitress is terrible, terrible. I would hate to be here on a busy day. Margarita was ok. I had the taco salad, it was eatable but nothing special. Won't return.

This is a good place for Mex cuisine on a weeknight. Not too expensive. Food is nothing spectacular, sort of like the service. Wife ordered the margarita special (12oz for $3.50) on the rocks with salted rim, got a really pretty frozen margarita, so we asked for the one on the rocks, and when it did arrive it was not with the salted rim. My son got the shrimp nachos...really nice! Grilled shrimp arranged over the top...lots of them and tasty cheese that was spiced up. Great queso dip and salsa, not the Best salsa, but they bring you as much as you want. Wife got chicken nachos supreme- way more than she could eat, good shredded chicken. I had the Combo #E which is Relleno, enchilada, taco, rice y frijoles con queso. The relleno was good...not as good as Coyote Grill in Avondale (awesome rellenos and carnitas) but enjoyable. Enchilada likewise, good....taco shell a little stale (you guys should offer choice of soft taco as well as ingredients, chicken, Al pastor, chorizo, etc.) and the rice and beans totally average. Edible. Good. Not expensive, not gourmet. Great place for groups and families, and they have outside seating for warmer weather. Also entertainment after 9pm most weekends. A little better attitude from some of the wait staff, a little more attention to the details (email me for my killer salsa recipe!) and this place can be getting 5 stars.

I've been to this location several times before. After recent visit, I had my mind made up not to revisit. Our server seemed a bit lost and inattentive. Maybe he had too many tables. Omw out I found out they were short staffed. Though this doesn't excuse the fact that most of the servers along with managers walked by lemons and napkin wrappings my guest and I saw on the floor..... Seriously started to snap a shot and post. With that said, I MAY give it another visit but I will avoid the server I had.

The margaritas are exactly what you'd expect from the Fairburn area, and the chips and salsa are worthy of making a meal of them (Sometimes I embarass myself by eating another basket after my burritos are gone). The price is good; my wife and I usually pick our regular menu items that we know we love (Fish Tacos and Vegetables Jalisco - yummy-yummy!). There is plenty of parking, and the area is safe. The prices are competitive and reasonable...the bill was less than $40 for two people. The staff are friendly. GREAT FOOD -- GREAT VALUE-- GREAT SERVICE!!!!! Keep up the service LaFiesta!!!!

I went to La Fiesta with some friends for lunch today and it was delicious!!!!!! Maybe I was really hungry, because I was complimenting the waitress and she didn't even cook the food. I ordered fish tacos with rice a side of shrimp nachos oh and some queso & spinach dip. I know I was hungry I did say that! I spent $11 for lunch and that included my drink, now that is what I'm talking about!!!! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because it took the waitress a little too long to bring my food, but hey it could have seem that way to me because like I said I WAS HUNGRY! Good spot to take friends or have lunch with co-workers and its very reasonable. Good food and friendly staff too, give it a try!

I'm glad this place opened in the Publix shopping center at the corner of Hwy 92 and S. Fulton Parkway b/c I love mexican food. The menu here is predictable which isn't all bad, but some of the dishes are a little sketchy. I liked the soup. The chips are pretty good, but the queso is way over priced for what you get.

Since moving to this part of town, I haven't been able to find a good Mexican spot. And since I am a queso and margarita addict, this has left me very sad. I decided to try the place next to my local Publix. I went on a Sunday afternoon. There was no one sitting outside, but I asked to be seated there. I had a nice afternoon reading on the patio while eating my lunch. My server left me alone and wasn't bothersome. The queso was average, but I thought the portion was kinda small for the price. The fish tacos were kinda odd to me. It was a piece of fish in a tortilla. Nothing else. I thought it was odd that there was no toppings, lettuce, nothing. I didn't think I would like it, but the fish was well seasoned. It was actually pretty tasty. The rice was fresh. I didn't have a 'rita that day, but I will return to try them out.

I came here on a Saturday afternoon with some friends because we were all craving some Mexican food and this location was closer to my friends' home. When we got here, it wasn't packed, so there was available seating. Our hostess was Bre and she was nice. I ordered two chicken soft tacos with rice, while my friend ordered chicken fajitas and enchiladas with their accompanying side items. The food was decent, just like any other Mexican restaurant I've been to. Nothing amazing.... As for the atmosphere, it was pretty chill. I read a review that there is a DJ on Saturday nights, and while we were there we could see him setting up, but wasn't subjected to the extremely loud music or horn that another Yelper mentioned in a review. The hostesses and waitresses were all gathered at the front talking while waiting on guests to arrive, but I didn't see any guests who were eating having to hunt anyone down to get refills or anything as they were attentive. One of my friends mentioned it and I'm assuming the manager was in ear shot, because he suddenly asked them all to removed themselves from the door to do other things. Now, the reason this place gets two stars are because of the flies and my friend's dirty utensils. First off, flies, flies and more flies! I understand that they can get in from the door constant opening and closing, but dang! If I had wanted to constantly be swatting at flies the whole time I could have sat OUTSIDE on the patio for that! Secondly, when one of my friends unwrapped her napkin to start using her utensils, not only were they dirty, but the napkin was stained. When she brought it up to a waitress walking by, the young lady didn't apologize for the inconvenience; she just took them from her and placed more on the table. I've heard there are other locations and I may try those one day, but this one? I don't plan on coming back. #Yelp100

I do not think that I will be returning to LaFiesta anytime soon. The food is definitely below par compared to other mexican restaurants. THE MAIN DOWNFALL- If you are looking for a nice place to catch up with friends on a Saturday night this is NOT the place to go. The place turns into a dance club. They turn the lights down and the music is so loud you cannot hear yourself think. The DJ constantly plays an air horn sound which will drive you insane. The wait staff is very friendly, but it is impossible to get someone's order correct and provide good service in this atmosphere. Several of our friends left and went to Zaxby's in the same complex. My food was wrong and the bill for 2 entrees and a few drinks was $60!! I could definitely have a much better meal and experience for that. I hate to give a bad review to a hometown restaurant but let this serve as a warning not to go here on a Saturday night!!

Absolutely the best "dive" Mexican restaurant I've been to. Typically my experience with these types of restaurants is that the food is bland. I was extremely surprised to taste how flavorful my chicken quesadilla was.... My date had the same and agreed that the meal was fabulous. The margarita was perfect too! Great service! And pricing.... the bill was less that $30 for two people. GREAT FOOD -- GREAT VALUE

Maybe the worst mexican restaurant experience I've ever had. 1- Expensive for what you get. I ordered 3 soft tacos and they were $6.50 and they had cheddar cheese on them. 2- My daughters plain cheese (kids) quesadilla was $4.25, she's 3. If you're looking for a place to eat, I promise this isn't it. We were passing through after an event in town nearby & were starved. I don't care how hungry you are, seriously don't do it!

We just bought a house down the street from here and I passed this restaurant going to Publix several times. One day me and my Sister In Law decided to go and get a Margarita, that led to getting food. Yum Yum Yum!!! Pleasantly surprised I have been back several times taking my loved ones along. I used to drive wayyyyyyyyyyy up to buckhead to Uncle Julios for their Sangria Swirl Margaritas and now I can drive about 1 mile to get some that are equally delish! The food is delicious, I mean the chicken is seasoned well, the rice is seasoned good, everything. They do not put any pork in the refried beans which is a plus for my non-pork eating family :-) One Sunday me and my Sister In Laws were out there having a Pitcher or 2 and the chair on the patio ripped holes in my pants. I was upset but too nice off the Margaritas to really be upset but Jessica the MOD comped about 80% of our meal. We told her that we loved the food, the drinks and the way she handled it so we'll be back..... I've been back about 4 times. Israel the other Manager is really nice and always makes us feel aprreciated!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
