My sister in law is vegan, so this place has fantastic options for her since you basically build the food yourself. The servers change gloves with every new order, so there is little chance of cross-contamination. (She is super sensitive to meat products.) It's like Subway for mexican food! I know it's a chain, but since this was the first time I had ever heard of Moe's, much less eaten there, I was excited to try it. Coming from California, I'm sorry but I have to say that this is much better than Chipotle. It feels more like a Subway then standing in a cafeteria line. (Chipotle has its good things too, don't freak out on me now. ) The ingredients are fresh, and the atmosphere is fun and funky. I loved the hearty "Welcome to Moe's!" that they sound off when customers enter. It reminds me of Japan, and the welcome you would receive in pretty much any restaurant, grocery store, or shopping mall. Nice people, solid food. Since you're in control of what goes into your food, you really only have yourself to blame if something isn't to your liking. I'm officially a fan of Moe's. And their salsa bar. I go all epic-ninja-hunter-gatherer on that mother! :3 A video of their menu, and my experience here on Youtube: youtube.com/watch?v=uLLx…

Pretty good tacos. Used to get the chicken but it was pretty dry, so I got the pork instead....it was really juicy and very tasty, just wish my taco wasn't dripping when I am trying to eat it. Awesome soda machine. I wish they would put some hotter salsa out on the bar and I wish they would get louder and more annoying when greeting customers. friendly staff.

Horrible stingy portions! Filthy restaurant! Staff too busy smokineg to actually work while on the clock.

I have been to moes before and this one needs a little help. The people were nice and fast to serve. The burritos were made to order and were well put together. The salsa bar had 5 flavors and it was clean and all salsa was full. The burritos tasted good. So why the 2 star? It was a Sunday evening and they weren't busy and the place was filthy. The trash cans were overflowing. the floors dirty and many tables needing wiping. The coke machine needs to be serviced as several selections were unavailable. Why have the machine if the special flavors are out. Then there was the bathroom. For as many people working you think that someone could take a minute to clean. If everything were right this place would be a 4 star. Till then you deserve 2.

This place is disgusting. Along with every other Moes. It's not fresh and I saw an eyelash in the sour cream. When the girl went to give me some, luckily she didn't give me the scoop with it. However, when I went to pay, I told the manager and he didn't even offer to make me a new one. I heard the girl day, "Should I throw it out?" To the manager and he said yes. That shouldn't even of been a question to ask. Goes to show the mentality of the people who work there. I ate what they gave me anyway because I was do hungry, and afterwords I felt sick. Will not go to this place ever again after this incident. The portions are pathetic as well. You leave the place still hungry. Where as I leave full like other places like this. I would highly recommend Diablos in the area. It's the same but better. I wish they had a chipotle in Augusta too. That's my all time favorite! Hopefully, this helps you when choosing a place to eat. I am an all time Yelper and look up places I go to eat all the time.

Moe's is great place for a big ole burrito fix. The Homewrecker is delicious, but recently I went to the nachos... and I might not go back. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially when I had never been there before and they walked me through the line. Choose your protein, chicken, ground beef, steak, pork, tofu. Select your beans, cheese, sauce, veggies, etc. You'll get chips and your choice of queso or guacamole. My wife gets a queso, I'll get the guac, we share. She usually steals all the guac. :( I believe Tuesdays are kids eat for $.99, but call ahead first. My kids love their burritos. I think they love being able to create their own burrito the way they want it. Go get your Big fat burrito fix on!

Two words - NO TOFU !!! The overall experience was good but because they were out of TOFU I have marked this place down. I would go back as the staff were friendly and dealt with a very busy line very quickly.

Welcome to Moe's. Good burritos made to order. These guys give you way too much food. Nice selection of meats and unmeats and a nice salsa bar. Kids love Moe's. Plus they have beer, what is not to love?

Moe's is always a hit with the family, and the kids would eat here every day of the week if we let them. It's hard to go wrong with their variety of toppings and your choice of nachos, tacos, burritos, bowls, and quesadillas. I personally never go out of my way to eat here, but when we do, I always get my green salsa fix. That stuff is packed with cilantro and delicious. Another plus for me - it's one of the only 'fast food' restaurants where I can grab a beer with my meal.

They handled the long line well, but had no Tofu! Definitely order beforehand if you're going Monday for lunch.

This place is pretty great. The staff is always so friendly, even on a Moe Monday when they have a line out the door. As for the Welcome to Moe's, I'm not the biggest fan but they are just doing their job. The food quality is great, it is a little pricey but that is why I would recommend going on a Monday when all burritos and Bowls are $5 and they come with chips and salsa. Also If you have kids I would recommend going on a Tuesday with every purchase of an entree you can get a kids meal for $0.99 which is a steal if you ask me!

Decent fast food BUT a bit pricey. The biggest minus is the corporate mandate to yell at everyone who enters. By the time I finished my meal I was ready to tell the servers to (unladylike term) off with the noise. Not returning

For a quick southwest dinner...Moe's does a pretty good job! We came on a Saturday night and they had plenty of employees taking care of orders and keeping the seating area clean. The drink and salsa area was stocked and clean. I love the amount of options when it comes to the toppings. They have more available than chipotle or Diablos. The meats have good flavor and aren't over seasoned like Diablo's can be sometimes. The kid options are good as well. Our kids love Moe's (a 6 and 4 year old). If it's a burrito or nachos you want it's hard to go wrong. Some other comments refer to the "welcome to Moe's" greeting by the employees when you enter as a bad thing. To me it's just background noise and doesn't bother me...I like the greeting when I enter. It's not like they sing a loud song or blast music. It's just a fast food spot with a catch phrase to help their marketing. I find myself saying "Welcome to Moe's" whenever we pass one...haha.

We eat at Moe's because there's no Chipotle here and it's better than Diablos. It has more toppings than Diablos and it's not eye watering hot like Diablos. The flavors are generally better. If your meat is dry, try the pork! It's never dry. However, the salsa is terrible. Either too hot or strange. Where's the mild plain ole salsa. Yes, it could be better, but it's good enough. When Chipotle comes, Moe's is off our list. And, yes, hate the yelled greeting!!!

My kids love Moe's so I take them pretty regularly. The staff is always so nice, and the salsa bar stays stocked even during high volume hours. I have no complaints :)

The burritos are great, and they have an option for wheat tortillas which I like. It does fail in one area though, in that it is NOT Chipotle :-P

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
