This was my third visit with this restaurant and I assumed my meal would have been great. I was sadly mistaken, I ordered the Paella. I was told it would be spicy. This wasn't paella with saffron, this was yellow rice with shrimp and chicken. The sole reason why I finished this meal was because I was starving and the service was good. I won't be returning, the meal cost $10.

So, being French myself, It is nothing like ANY pastry shops out there. If you are looking for "authentic" French café, that's not it. That being said, for a French themed coffee/pastry and lunch place, this is pretty good. I went there with a (French) friend of mine to catch up on stuff. Got a regular French roast coffee with a croissant and some lemon madeleines. Croissant tasted good, not too greasy. The madeleine were good with a nice lemon flavor to them, but i found them too sweet. They were coated with some sort of sweet glaze, kind of like the one on donuts, which i found to be a bit too much.

My little sister loves this place for some reason, so I feel like I end up eating here more than I'd usually prefer. I think the food is alright, but it doesn't taste or feel like I remember real French food tasting. This is especially true of the bread and pastry. If you think of it more like a French-style Panera, you'll probably be happier than if you think you're getting actual French food. That being said, on my most recent trip there, I enjoyed a half French dip sandwich, tomato-basil soup, and a side Caesar salad for less than $10 with their Duet Magnifique deal. It was definitely a bargain, all things considered. The food was decent, especially the soup. Honestly, if their bread was a little bit better, they could have a one-item menu and I'd be perfectly happy slurping up the soup. The sandwich was okay, but again, I wanted the bread to have a little more going on. But again, if you forget it's trying to be French, the food is absolutely fine. Not worth going out of your way for, but a nice option if you want a quick lunch but don't want to eat fast food around Gwinnett Place Mall.

Yup! I got talked into coming here. I have to admit that l liked the chicken crepe. Naturally being French food it was loaded with cheeses and other creamy sauces. I liked the Tomato Basil soup too. The tomato basil soup has a very lively flavor. It has a deep richness to it. The tomato adds a sourness to it but, basil, cheese, and other ingredience balances this out well. Yes, I said cheese again. Complement it with a litte freshly cracked pepper just for the bite. I gave it a few quick turns on the grinder which did it some justice. The potato galette(hash brown) tasted pretty good. This is more of a place to hang out. Perhaps this is not the type of french food I am used to. I realize that French portions are small and are cooked to be very flavorful, having a "burst" of flavor. With exception to the soup the portions only met the first criteria. I must also take into consideration that I have not tried that many menu items so my opinion is skewed. The items I have tried (esp. The tomato basil soup) were good. 70/100

Clearly French cuisine is never my favorite. I've been to France twice, eating in the country and at La Madeleine never changed my pallet for the cuisine. Oh well, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I got the La Madeleine chicken, and a fruit tart on the side. The savory dish came with rice, and broccoli. It was lacking flavor and just nothing impressive. The fruit tart was just too sweet, I barely ate half and I even got the mini version. I have yet tried the parfaits that looked enticing, but maybe next time if this place ever crossed my mind again.

This place is one of the best in Atlanta! Especially for breakfast and lunch, the eggs Benedict are really good and also the croissants. Their desserts are out of this world, my faves are the Fruit Tart and the Sacher Torte. Great restaurant! I recommend it 100%

This place is open fairly early. The food is delightful. The service is fast. The staff are friendly. Their prices are fair but dont get their drinks. If you can, do without it or just share a drink. The atmosphere here is traditional and clean. I highly recommend their tomato bisc soup, parfaits, panninies and french toast. Their strawberry Napolean was a bit overly sweet but the consistency was right. They also offer free fresh bread. I would definitely come back to this place again!

Really nice place. Loved the decor as well as the menu options! Everything seemed very fresh and our order was out in just minutes. Only my first time here; the chicken salad on croissant was delicious, however, my wife ordered the roasted pear and proscuitto salad, which was exquisite! We can't wait to go back and try something else.

Come here all the time for lunch with my friends after our work out sessions. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was friendly. Most of the time, I would get the Chicken Crepe Riviera and it was always delicious. The sour dough bread was fresh too. I also liked the creamy Tomato Basil Soup. My friends also seemed to enjoy the food here. There's plenty of parking if you decide to have a private party. They have a large party room for you and your guests. My friends had breakfast food since they do serve breakfast all day long. Wow! The desserts are good too. Overall, a great place to hang out. We found a cozy place near the fireplace when it was cold and windy outside. Ahh, such a homey feel at this place. Yelp 8/365

It's a cafeteria like set up..and items that aren't on the assembly line already ..gets brought out to you. The food was just alright ..I had the chicken friand ..hmm it was heavy and lacking a bit of flavor ..Strawberries Romanoff was rather watery ..the person who I had brunch with ordered a regular breakfast item that was made to order ...nothing wowed me..idk maybe the chef had an off day? I do love the old French country kitchen feel though..there was a cozy fireplace in the middle ..and it's a nice place to catch up with a friend to chat ..they had a lot of pastry items on display that I plan on coming back to try..I got a soft spot for fruit tarts ;)

Just what we wanted for Breakfast this morning! Our daughter had the croissant breakfast with a potato galette side. My wife had the blueberry muffin. I had the Parisian eggs Benedict. All three meals were amazing! And the coffee and espresso were exceptional! We are already making plans for breakfast tomorrow. (Our daughter wants to go there for lunch!) Great atmosphere, great food, friendly service...What more could you ask for?

This is one of my favorite places to grab a quick meal. Their menu has a great variety of options and their service is always good too. I absolutely love their sandwiches (namely the chicken parisien) and their tomato soup is my favorite tomato soup in this city. I could eat here every day.

I do not get why this place is so popular outside of maybe their desserts and salads. First off, the serving line-one lady was chewing on her finger and didn't wash after. The cooks, one cook picked up some food and ate it when he was preparing a dish. I don't think it was from that dish, but still. The finger chewer needed hot pad to move soup and asked one of the cooks for some, he threw them to her.... She didn't catch both if them, she simply picked it up off the floor and used them to haul her soup. The Servers- hands all over your plate and they just toss it in your general direction. Food- I had the French Dip sandwich and it was down right awful, glad I only got a half. I only ate two bites. The second bite was to confirm my first bite. No flavor and the "roast beef" tasted off. The pasta salad was dripping in oil. The French Onion soup was meh. Second time in about a year that I decided to give this place a try. I was truly disappointed this time and underwhelmed the first time. I definitely will not be back.

Liked: tomato soup, pasta salad, chicken la madeleine Disliked: the one sweet crepe they had. That sauce on top was just not to my liking. (they don't have sweet ones like the lemon/sugar combo I wanted) . French onion soup was also a fail. Advice:if I was gonna buy one thing only. Then tomato soup. Even bought a jar to go home with.

I don't know how La Madeleine compares to other French restaurants, but I really enjoyed everything that I ordered here. I also like the free bread and jams. The chicken friand, croque monsieur, and tomato basil soup were rather rich and heavy. However, the menu also included some lighter options, which were helpfully labeled with their caloric values. My favorite is currently the vanilla fruit parfait, which is light and refreshing! The fresh fruit tart was semi-sweet and decent, but I would try the other desserts before getting that one again. Another thing: f2o's tomato bisque is tastier, creamier, and more complex in flavor than La Madeleine's tomato basil soup. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy with a real fire in the hearth.

I really like this French restaurant and bakery. Everything is fresh especially the bakery items you can pick up in a to-go box on your way out. You review the menu while you stand in line to pick out what you want. They will serve you on the line or bring it to your table. The inside is nicely decorated. I recommend the chicken friand with mushroom sauce. Chocolate dipped coconut macaroons are insane. The cappucino is a treat - try one ! This restaurant has made my list of great restaurants in the Duluth area.

I loved this cafeteria-style French restaurant! I got the chicken friand, a tomato basil soup, and a cookie. The chicken friand was delicious, rich, and extremely creamy. I loved the flaky puff pastry and the richness of the mushroom sauce was fantastic. The tomato basil soup tasted fresh and was a tiny bit sour, but it was extra yummy when I dipped the complimentary French bread in it. The cookie was also delicious, and I can't wait to try their other desserts (their fruit tart looked awesome!). The service was also great. Everyone was very helpful. The prices were also pretty reasonable. I only wish they made more French desserts. I could always do with more macarons in my life.

I love the Cream of Mushroom soup and chicken salad sandwiches on fresh bread! The decor is warm and inviting and if you go in the winter time, sit near the fireplace, very cozy! It looks small from the outside but is deceivingly big and has plenty of seating. The staff is nice and the place is clean!

My wife told me about this place and i finally went along for a late breakfast. The place looks very welcoming and the fireplace makes you feel like home. I had their tuna sandwich croissant which was excellent. My wife had their famous tomato basil soup and a salad. I dont usually eat soup but after trying it I kept dipping their free bread in it. This place is a must visit.

Cute place with great food. I love their chicken friand with mushroom sauce. Their deserts are great, too. This time we had the mini fruit tart. The custard was little too sweet for me, but good nonetheless. My husband did not think it to be too sweet and loved it. A great go-to place for good food and desert :)

I have been dinning at La Madeleine for the past 21 years. I grew up in Dallas where they are from and I have eaten at their locations in many cities, and I love their food! I was so happy to find out that they have a location on Pleasant Hill close to where I just moved. So I went my first week in my new neighborhood. And boy was I disappointed. The french roast coffee was weak, The bread was just OK, the Cesar salad was only half as good as their locations in Dallas, and the quiche I had was thin and forgetable. Nothing was very good and everything I ordered was a staple of theirs. I'm now back to missing La Madeleine.

I've been a customer here for years but the last year has been increasingly bad. So much so that I've unsubscribed from their emails and no longer consider it a place to go. I ate the Country French Breakfast - scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, tomato slices, potato gallette, and a croissant. The croissant wasn't even warm. It was tasty, but it was cool on the plate. The eggs were okay, nothing bad, nothing good. The bacon, which I requested to be 'very crispy' was 'very limp'. The potato gallette was as grossly overcooked as it could get without being burned black. It looked dry and inedible. I refused the gallette and asked for one that wasn't overcooked. The replacement gallette arrived just as I was leaving 20 minutes later. The replacement was good. It concerns me that management thought it was acceptable to send out such obviously overcooked food. It's been something of a tradition to have my birthday breakfast here, complete with the complimentary dessert (which you get via your email subscription). Last year, the food was dissappointing. I ate there another time last year, hoping for a change of employees, and it was almost an exact repeat of my bad birthday breakfast. Still hoping for the awesomeness that used to be La Madeleine, I went this morning, weeks before my birthday to see if I could resume dining there or determine I needed to find another place at which to have my birthday breakfast. I'm really glad I did this because I didn't like it at all on an ordinary day and I wouldn't want to have this experience on my birthday. Even the bus staff were not up to the standards of the past.

La Madeleine has been one of my favorite places to eat for so long that it didn't even occur to me to review it! I've been eating here for over 8 years now, and it is consistently delicious and reasonably priced. La Mad is the place that turned me into a coffee drinker so many years ago, which is saying something. I love to come here with a book and curl up by the fire to read for a while - you get free coffee refills and complimentary bread and jam, so you can make an afternoon of it on a chilly day. I usually order from their pasta, salad, or hot bar (rather than waiting for a meal to be cooked), and some of my staples are the chicken friand, the quiche, tomato basil soup, Caesar salad, and pesto pasta (though the latest update to the recipe makes it a little greasier than I like). La Mad is also great for breakfast - their bacon is incredible.

I love this place. I got here all the time. The entrees are great and the desserts are even better. I love the service and atmosphere. They have mini crème brulee, fruit tarts, mini parfait, salads, sandwiches, coffee, tomato basil soup, and much much more!

La Madeleine has been in this location for a fair chunk of years now and is starting to show it's age a little ... But the food is always fresh and flavorful and interior charming in a faux Euro sort of way. French lessons mix with Muzak in the bathrooms. You can have a quite lovely lunch here (aside from the inevitable screaming/crying/misbehaving children that are dragged in here when They should be at McDonalds.)

We've been going here for years. I'll probably continue to go despite the removal of my favorite dish -- the cordon bleu sandwich -- from their menu. Lame. They've definitely made a few menu changes as of late, but it seems they've added on a few new savory dishes that look tasty. They still continue to serve their famous tomato basil soup and always have a few fresh quiches on the griddle. Though, I don't think i'll be trying their caesar salad again. Last time I had it, I couldn't get the taste of the dressing out of my mouth for the rest of the night and the lettuce was showing a few brown spots. A definite bright spot is the bus staff. They're always prompt and keep the restaurant clean for new guests.

This is based on one take out order of a chicken Cesar salad... they packaged everything individually so that I could top it when I got home. I imagine that this was to prevent condensation and lettuce getting soggy. The only negatives, and peeves of mine, were that the lettuce wasn't chopped small enough and the chicken was sliced longways, not into bite sized pieces. Not sure people with mouths that big even order salads but I had to chop them before eating. Otherwise I'd have to say the chicken was seasoned nicely and the creamy dressing was good. Headed there tonight to try a pasta dish and their service.

The French stop on the tour o' foods of Atlanta, and we were not disappointed. Very affordable, as French typically isn't. We went at lunch, and they had a few special items. I had a Monte Cristo type sandwich, and it was delicious! They have so many things that look excellent, this is an establishment that we frequent!!

There was nothing wrong with the food, but there wasn't a lot right with it either. Walking in, you are immediately struck by the cheesy school cafeteria style order experience. That probably should have been a warning, but we decided to stay and give it a try. I ordered the Chicken Friand and a cup of French Onion Soup. The Friand was bland, it was in desperate need of salt and some herbs, or something beyond the taste of cream and unseasoned chicken, and the puff pastry tasted frozen. I really should have sent the French Onion Soup back. I seriously doubt this was made in house, and was probably pre-packaged Knorr French Onion, which is just embarrassing for a "French restaurant." The onions were undercook, and they were never caramelized. Instead of topping this with fresh toast and melted cheese, they throw a crouton on top and sprinkle on some shredded cheese. I'm sorry, but that is just laziness, pure and simple. Finally, that brings me to price. I paid about $13.00 for my meal. That is WAY overpriced for what I received, especially for the soup. I won't be returning to this disappointing, forgetable restaurant, and I would recommend you skip it. For anyone desperately searching for a replacement for Cafe Gourmandise, which was a real French restaurant in Suwanee, keep looking, because this falls FAR short.

Love Love LOVE La Madeleine! I used to go to their other location but this one is closer to me. So happy to have it in Gwinnett. The staff is so nice and helpful. There is never a line when I go. Best tomato bisque I have ever had. I usually get the chicken salad on a croissant and it is always divine. I would eat there everyday if i could.

I love this place! It's so cozy and the food is delicious! They have unlimited bread (white, wheat, grains, etc). You can eat a full meal, a small desert or something small. It definitely lives up to it's french environment!

Absolutely love this place! Visit at least once a week and I live 30 mins away! That's how amazing this place is! Must try the chicken friand, tomato basil soup, strawberry romanoff, and any of their crepes! Crepes are amazing! Desert is even better! Love all the tarts ESP the fruit tart! It's so yummy and delicious! Good thing I do not live near this restaurant. Otherwise I would be really broke because the plates are kinda pricy! Spent $20 today on the chicken friand, sweet tea, strawberry romanoff, and medium sized fruit tart!

I thought I would stop in for some mid-day coffee and a muffin. I thought the place would be something like a Starbucks or something like that. In actuality it is like a French bakery and cafe. I love it. I walked in to see these delicious little cakes and pastries reminicent of Babettes in Long Beach...you know, without the crack head gauntlet. I thought I'd never find a replacement for Babettes, but after a week and a half here in the ATL....I've found it, only better. I quickly spoted the muffins, salads, soups and such. I ordered the salad sampler and my choices were the spinach salad, the pasta salad and the fruit salad. The pasta was pretty good, but the spinach salad was off the chain! I poued some of my mango ginger vinaigrette over it when I got back to my spot and mmm mmm mmm...it was so delish. I read the other reviews regarding the soup and and other foods and will most definately come back here when I need to make another Staples run. The service was great and the lady who took my order was pleasant and very friendly. I can't wait to bring my friends here when they come to visit me.

I would like to try something different since I'm an alien vacationing from CA. Therefore, Kat and I settled at La Madeleine, which reminded me of this TV commercial - "Where's my madeleine?" After the hike, we were hungry like a WOLF!!! Everything smelled and looked incredibly good and declicious. Without hesitant, we quickly ordered a cup of tomato basil soup, chicken friand, shrimp crepe florentine and crepe romanoff. We then sat at a small round table by the window and waited for our crepes. No wonder the tomato basil soup is their signature soup. It was so light and refreshing as you could taste the freshness blend of tomatoes and basil in your mouth. You can even purchase the readily packed soup in a jar for yourself or gifts to friends. Oooooh, my first bite of that warm and fluffy chicken friand was so darn good. If I've a stomach as big as a cow, I would swallow another chicken friand!!! After all, I had no complaints except for the crepe romanoff was like a mediocre and fell short compare to the shrimp crepe florentine.

This is a chain, and it's kind of on the pricey side for what it is. I don't entirely "get" the overall experience of La Madeleine, but what keeps me coming back (at least once in a while) is the delicious Tomato Basil soup. It's approximately one million calories and fat grams per serving, but it is creamy and tomatoey and mmmmmmm. There is no other way to describe it. You can also buy this soup by the jar, but I haven't tried it yet so I don't know how it compares to the fresh, in-restaurant experience.

i would be in SOOOOO much trouble if we had one of these near where i lived! $1.50 for little mini tiramisu parfaits? $4 for large slices of chocolate ganache raspberry cake? it's not cheap, but it's reasonable, and most of all, it's TASTY!! we had dinner there b/c we wanted salads and hubby didn't want to do an all you can eat buffet like sweet tomatoes. boy, am i glad we found this place! i had the spinach salad, MIL had the caesar salad w/tomato basil soup and strawberries romanoff on the side. i had a bit of each of the aforementioned desserts. we were in heaven! hubby had the cordon bleu sandwich which he said was just ok. we also loved the french country house ambience, complete w/fireplace in the middle. service was very friendly. i would LOVE to come back!

I am rating this place solely on their desserts - and really this place should add patisserie to their name to garner greater interest from all of the sweet tooths out there. So, there are really two sides to La Madeleine, the sweet and the savory. Obviously I prefer the sweet and it is the first thing you will be greeted with upon entering this little eatery. They offer fresh baked treats daily, though they bake the same things each day (no specials) they do run out so you may notice different offering each time you go. I have tried almost every dessert and they are all amazing. The best are: Chocolat Tart Lemon Tart Creme Brulee Fresh Fruit Tart Tiramisu Strawberry Napoleon These aren't dainty little treats either, each one is enough to share and are priced quite reasonably. The tarts are about $4, others around $3 - total bargain for such goodness!

I have been coming to la Madeleine for years! I love their cozy interior and sweets. I have tried the following dishes and sweets: -Chicken Salad Croissant -Chicken La Madeleine -Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta -Fresh Fruit Tarts -Cheesecake -Mini Café au lait Crème Brulée -French Vanilla Tart with Berries I really like the Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta and the Chicken Salad croissant. It's flavorful and rich. Their portions are huge and I always end up toGo-ing half of my entrees. For the desserts, I highly recommend the fruit tarts and the Creme Brulee. I also love the mini little cup treats. It's small enough for a treat but not too indulging. Overall it's a great place to catch up with friends over lunch or dinner. :)

If you ever wanted to have a s l o w meal, this is the place for you. No matter what night of the week you go in, all of the employees are either talking to one another or are in the kitchen trying to make a meal that comes out of a bag/box. These employees are somewhat lucky that this establishment would give them a job as probably no one else would hire them because they are complete idiots. This is sad because the food is very good. Their salads (when they are made right) is something to look forward for. The soups are equally delicious. I cannot understand why a company would spend so much money on advertising on to let the employees knock it down. As I stated above, if you want to take a long time to eat a meal, then this place is for you. I have been here numerous times (not for the service) to enjoy a meal of different sorts.

First off...... I'm not a chick I'm manly man.... Parking - adequate B rate Exterior - less than adequate C rate, dead area with lots of closed down shops. Aka Old Old Navy. Shopping center is dead. Less than 50% occupied. Upon entry Welcome - @7pm Thurs Aug 6 2015. No welcome. No host. UNTIL you tell them I need service. Remeber this is a cafe so you must initiate first contact. Ordering at counter "cafe style" - (look at menu first or they make you feel like WTF, move!) they don't help with suggestions, more like "I can't wait to get off work attitude." they don't even tell you how this place operates. Leave you guessing. Just follow the guest in front of you. Food - was good. CANT LIE it was good. Servers - it was ok. NOT GREAT by any means. They brought out the dinner entrees to your table. Maybe it was because I had a large group 10 ppl for dinner. I have no experience for breakfast or lunch can't comment. Cleanliness - total fail. Cups were out right nasty dirty. Wine cups are a joke. Dirty! Regular cups are so dirty you can't even scrub the grim off. Seriously go check for yourself. Total fail, so dirty. The bathroom has a recorded French speaking lady voice which is nice but had no hand towels and no soap. It appeared to be a front. Consider wiping your wet hands on your attire or pants or shirt. NOT ACCEPTABLE ImO. THE Trash was full. SmH and goes down from there. The pictures on Yelp are not the real deal. Maybe 12 years ago but Hello its Aug 2015......... Other guests - Yeah let me tell you one thing. There were 3 to 4 table guests/couples within close proximity to my table and they were all blind date tables. I can hear them giving each other the first date questionnaire. SMH.... Go to a Quiz dinner or read each others profile or go somewhere else and stay discreet. Guys and gals trying to do the Adam and Eve need to take it somewhere else. Please.... I WILL NEVER TAKE MY FAMILY HERE AGAIN. Honestly, I felt like this place is for a person going on a first date or for some girlfriends getting together to gossip. Sorry. Not for me. At all. Overall experience - I felt the food was ok but overpriced. Totally OVER PRICED for a sandwich and soup. I felt so unmasculine afterwords . The pictures online and ratings are written by mostly women. Dont believe me check. Ok I'm done ranting and raving. Lets go eat PHO down the street or just hit up any other place. FINAL Thoughts - I will not return!

The staff was super friendly. The food was good, but I wouldn't say it was anything super wowing. To me, this place is like a French deli restaurant with more entrée varieties to choose from. How this works is you go through the line and order what you want. You can pick up additional side items on the way. You pay at the end and can pick up complimentary bread if you wish. I shared the salmon and dill sauce with the date. The roasted salmon was pretty tasty since it was tender and flavorful. The rice was flavorful and delish, but the asparagus lacked flavor. There were plenty of seating spaces to choose from. The restrooms were interesting as there were French lessons that recycles itself thru the speakers. Interesting. I know. Lol. Aim for Rooms To Go, and you will see La Madeleine nearby. There are plenty of parking spaces as this area is dead.

Meh. My most recent experience at this La Madeleine was just okay. I have been to this location a couple of times. Their soups and salads are pretty tasty and it's awesome that they offer unlimited bread. It's also pretty elegant and they teach you French if you go to the bathroom (overplaying looping soundtrack of French phrases). However, I guess I wasn't impressed with their service as far as the service went. It was a little busy, but I didn't think it was so busy that they couldn't communicate the proper order that we thought we were getting. The water tasted a little weird too. Some of their items seem a little overpriced as far as corporate-French-Faux-cuisine goes. /End-Yelp-Rant

For about $9, I thought the trio was a good deal. It comes with halves of two different specials (I got the friands) and soup/salad (I got the cup of mushroom soup). I shared this plate and was adequately full, surprisingly, for someone who had not eaten dinner the previous day nor breakfast that day. There is also complimentary bread and their house made jelly. I enjoyed the jelly because it tasted fresh and not too sweet. The mushroom soup was creamy. I could definitely distinguish the smell of the mushroom. The temperature was hot but not scalding. I was pleased that they got the temperature right because when I walked in, I felt like it was a chain restaurant a la French version of Panera bread. I did not get the impression that the soup just came out of a big pot. I like that there is a patio to sit outside during good weather. There is adequate shade for the tables as well. A cashier took the order at the beginning of the line. However, I felt it odd that I had to repeat my order as I went down the line and pointed out which dishes I wanted. At the end of the line, there are counters to grab utensils, napkins, drinks, etc.

The location of this place is sort of weird. It's at the far right side of a huge parking lot area where Staples is. Nevertheless, this place is cute and cozy. They have a nice little fireplace with real fire burning, and friendly workers. When you enter the cafe, there is a menu stand in the middle. Choose your entree, and when you're ready, order at the front of the line. As you go down the line with your tray, you can choose to add soups or desserts. At the end of the line, the cashier waits patiently for you to pay for your food. If you ordered something that may take a while to prepare, then you are given a big spoon, which helps the workers locate you. There's a little section after the register with utensils. A few steps ahead, there's [complimentary] bread with delicious homemade jam (the raspberry jam is delish), and butter. Then there's the coffee section, because the coffee is self-service with a wide selection of creams and sugar, as well as honey. The bread is delicious with butter and a drizzle of honey. But that's just my opinion. The complimentary bread is awesome because it's like an appetizer you eat while waiting on your main entree! Very smart. I have tried the Pesto pasta with chicken and another time with shrimp. The Pesto with Shrimp pasta was really good. The only thing that I was disappointed in was the overcooked pasta. Tasted mushy. Other than that, everything else was good. This place is a cute date spot, or just a nice place to eat and catch up with friends. I gave this place three stars because the food was a-ok, and I wouldn't go out of my way to go to this place. If I'm in the area, and craving pesto pasta, then I'll go.

I usually eat at la madeleine for lunch, but we decided to try out breakfast there this morning. Being a holiday, it was packed. Glad we got there early because the line was going out the door when we were walking out. Breakfast was not good. We ordered the american breakfast, eggs benedict, and quiche lorraine. The quiche was slightly on the salty side. My eggs benedict was horrible. The hollandaise sauce was chunky. The american breakfast came out with two huge potato patties for some reason, I think it was a mistake. Plating made the food look messy and unappetizing. Oh, and they were out of crepes! Everything seemed pretty rushed and the staff were a bit frantic. Not my best experience at a la madeleine.

I've been here multiple times, but this time was probably the most disappointing (though still good!) Foremost, I absolutely adore their desserts, and I recommend them no matter what (their summer parfaits and the mini fresh tarts--around $2 per tart--are to die for). This trip around I came with two friends after a movie. I ordered the spinach pochette, except the woman behind the counter didn't seem to understand what I wanted. It took a while, but I managed to get my food (oddly enough, the actually pochette looks different than the picture on their online menu). Still, it was delicious, so I have no regrets. Our group also ordered their new blueberry creme tart and two different parfaits. All three were absolutely heavenly and only have strengthened my approval of their desserts. The blueberry tart, I think, is seasonal/limited time, so if you stop by this summer, grab it. :) I also recommend all their mini fresh fruit tarts; they're always there, and absolutely delectable. I'll be back some other time, because I can't stay away from this place~

Came here for the first time today.. It was a little different since it was cafeteria set up but they Kindly explained the process. We got a quiche Loraine which was amazing!!!! A must try!! We also got the country breakfast ( which was ok not something I'll get again) and Cordon Blue pasta ( very good)

I like this place more than I like most chains. I started eating at this chain in the DC-Maryland area and fell in love. Everything that I've had has been great, but the strawberry romanoff (sp) is awesome. That creamy glaze is so freakishly good. Whenever I'm in this area, which is not often I make sure to stop here. It can be busy though and of course that means longer wait times.

Food here is always great as well as the service. I love their famous tomato soup and their pesto veggie sandwich. Their desserts are also really yummy so you can't miss out.

La Madeline is a solid, reliable choice for a good meal. My favorites include the spinach quiche, Caesar salad (with or without salmon), tomato basil soup, and strawberries Romanoff. Their breads and dessert offerings are also delicious. Salads are prepared in front of you. Service is reliably efficient. The atmosphere is cozy and casual, with French country decor, copper kitchenware on the walls, and a warm fireplace. A great choice.

This is a good place for lunch that I use to visit all of the time but all of a sudden stopped. I remember now, I stopped working in that area for some time. There are not many french bakery cafes that I know of in Atlanta. Having something different is good, especially when it is good! Starting with their "world famous" tomato bisque soup, adding chips or a salad and a half or whole sandwich all comes together for a pretty fulfilling lunch. This place actually opens at 6/6:30am for breakfast. That is still on my list to try. The soup is damn good and very fattening being loaded with calories. Maybe its not so bad as a meal by itself but with a sandwich, geez la weez! I had a recent experience where I ordered to go and quickly picked up without double checking my meal. I ordered the turkey sandwich with bacon and received a tuna sandwich with crumbled bacon on the side in a baggy. What the.... I ate it, then called to inform them of the mishap. I was placed on hold indefinitely. I tried again the next day and reached a manager within a matter of minutes. He asked for my receipt/ticket number which I still had and I informed him of the situation (not in that order). He told me to swing by. I did and he took care of me, giving me my original order free of charge. He even hustled to get it done. I really appreciated that as I was short on time. Good food in a good atmosphere with a good experience = a good place to try out if you have not. This is a low key date spot too.

Weekday lunchtime has a wait time of over 10 minutes and an order line out the door! Why is there only 1 Order-Taker servicing at high volume times? Ugh. Having never been here, I was expecting to be seated and then ordering. Nope. This place is exactly like Jason's Deli only with better atmosphere and better food. Not really what I had been hoping for. Everyone recommends Le Madeline's tomato soup, so I ordered a large bowl of it. It was very good however it is not vegan. Poo. There is a lot of skim milk in it. (True cream of tomato soup uses high-fat, rich dairy cream. Not skim milk. But when feeding the Masses...) Their salad dressing is a balsamic vinaigrette. It is standard in flavor and is used as the go-to dressing for a lot of their salads. Personally I feel one gets greater flavor on salads from a squeezed wedge of fresh citrus then this vinaigrette. The fruit cup was standard. No strawberries. Only grapes and green melon. Tidbits of pineapple every once in a while. Boring. I tried out their grilled veggie sandwich. Sorry and sad. There was little on it except a little bell pepper, a little zucchini and a tsp of some white cheese pesto spread. The bread is typical French baguette. This was less than appetizing nor filling. The lettuce leaves in the salad were more appealing. That's saying a lot. The high point was the people working here. The staff was phenomenal! From the sole order-taker, to the line food servers, to the cashier, to the table clean-up crew. All of them had the most pleasant attitude of kind, courteous and helpful demeanor! Love them all! They truly made the experience pleasant, care-free and inviting!! Not likely I will ever return but was good while it lasted.

I have seen some of my friends come here to eat so I figured I might as well try it out for brunch! It was me with some of my friends that came in for their breakfast. I loved the interior of the place. Rustic and it has that timey, old french look to it (obviously). Cozy. I loved it especially when it was cold out that morning and I come in to a warm atmosphere with a fire going in one of their fireplaces. HOW YOU ORDER The food service is similar to Panera, where you look at the menu, order and pay for it first. However, you sit first and they bring the food out to you when they give you a lettered sign. When I came in, I had no clue so this might help for newcomers. THE FOOD Parisian Eggs Benedict I ordered the this and enjoyed it! It was delicious for $7.75ish. However, the Hollandaise sauce didn't look right as it was clumping, which the sauce is supposed to be smooth over the poached egg. I'm not picky with my food so it didn't affect my taste buds. With that aside, it was still delicious and filling (at least for me). It is a crossaint topped with ham, bacon, a poached egg and hollandaise sauce. It was served so fast and I barely sat in my seat for at least 5 min. (Which was good because I was starving). Chicken-Mushroom Pastry (? I had forgotten the name) This was delicious! I grabbed a taste of this dish from another friend and it was like a rich, chicken pot pie! The flakey pastry is filled with chicken and mushroom, I believe, and topped with this rich mushroom sauce. I almost wished I also had ordered that. Fruit Tart One of my friends ordered this and I thought it was delectable. Compared to other fruit tarts I've eaten (Sweet Hut, 720 Bakery, White Windmill), this by far is the best, which is understandable knowing that this is a french dessert. The custard filling was smooth, rich, and delicious. The fruit was slightly both sweet and sour and the crust wasn't hard as it basically melted in your mouth with a buttery taste. With your entree or basically anything that you order, there is complimentary bread, with butter and jam/jelly on the side. There is also complimentary coffee (I think, but I don't like coffee so Im not sure). All the complimentary food is at the end after you placed and paid for your order. The bread isn't warm but it's nice to have bread to eat while you're waiting for your food. Overall, I enjoyed this place a lot and I would definitely eat here again! Even though I am not fond of French cuisine, so far this place isn't so bad. The service was good, even though I was wandering cluelessly for a bit until someone asked me if I was ready to order. The woman who took my order was friendly and kind, also greets in French. So if you want to find a brunch place, I would recommend going here, at least to experience it. So far, it's been good for me!

I always love this cafe, all locations! The food here is wonderful and has great flavors of France. The French coffee is worth the trip alone, but so is the tomato soup (and I usually do not care for tomato soup). My favorite is the pick three option and I get the spinach salad, tomato soup, and pasta salad. Some times I go crazy and get a crepe. I go here through the year to meet up with friends. We can stay as ling as we wish and pay up front so there is no confusion with the bill or adding friends who arrive later than others. My co-workers even have come here often for meetings after work for casual discussions. I do jot think they have wifi or office technology options, but it beats long meetings at work. There is a casual feel here that makes you want to go back. And I do love to be here, and eat.

Definitely a huge fan of this place. I love their tomato basil and cream of mushroom soups! They have a great outdoor patio that we took advantage of during our last visit and the restaurant itself is always clean and well maintained. If you've never been to a La Madeleine location, it's set up "cafeteria style" where you add food items to your tray and check out at the end of the line. They have fountain drinks and teas available as well. Love their raspberry jelly and complimentary slices of wheat bread by the fountain drinks. They are perfect for dipping into my favorite soups from here. Everyone that works there are super friendly and courteous. I've always enjoyed each visit to this location and look forward to future visits.

OK ok.. remember in one of my reviews I said I'll try the desserts?! I think I said that.. well anyways, I did and I enjoyed it! Yay! I'm a fan! I really am! I tried their eclairs and it was fabulous! The cream inside was so nice, smooth and not too sweet! Just the way I like 'em! The fruit parfait was also delightful! It comes in a small little vase looking cup.. real fancy lookin' but not enough to satisfy my sweet tooth! Overall, I'm definitely a big fan of their desserts. Will come back for their desserts!

Great place. I loved the ambience, service and warmth of the place. Location is great, right on Pleasent Hill Rd; so very convenient for me. Plenty of parking, as it's in a huge plaza that has RTG, Toys R us and On the Border etc. I got here based on a review from one of my friend on yelp This was my first visit. So after burning 600 calories at the gym, I was looking for a breakfast with protein and some carb punch. I ordered custom omelette and replaced croissant with baguette, and a coffee. Pretty casual and friendly environment; you place your order at the counter, pay for it and sit at a table. They will bring food to you. The order came out way sooner than I expected. I wanted to try something different so I ordered a potato galette, which looked like a potato patty to me, turned out to be French version of hash brown, with very strong taste of cheese and I believe green onion. All of this, with free coffee refills and 2 hours of cozy and relaxing surrounding on a lazy Saturday morning costed only $13 bucks.....can't get any better. Highly recommended and will definitely be back.

I've been going to this place since I was little and it never gets old. Located off the Pleasant Hill exit (104 off 85). The set up is different from most restaurants, it's more of a "cafeteria style." When you walk in you can see the French cafe theme, before the line to order begins there is a couple menus sitting on a table and a bench nearby to give people time to order. The fireplace is cozy in the winter and the outdoor seating makes for great lunches in the spring. The tomato soup is The GOAT, I cannot express my love for this soup in words, and the fact that you can buy it to make at home is wonderful. The aura is tranquil here and I love catching up with friends here. It's also so close to many other food spots and coffee shops. Only negative about this place is the front, I wish they had a clear set up of how or where to order. I see many first timers not knowing what to do or where to go lol. It's quite amusing. All in all this is my go to spot for a lunch date with my girls. Time to time I get really bad cravings for this place and it never fails to satisfy!

Excuse me while I pretend to be classy. This is located so conveniently on pleasant hill with an abundance of parking. Plus plus! When you walk in, your confused. Been there, done that. I proceeded to get this half and half deal. The deal is is where you get half of a sandwich and two sides. I picked chicken salad sandwich, pasta and Cesar salad. Once you order and pay, you go and sit down at a table and the food will be brought to you. Bread is complimentary and you can find it at the station near the drink fountain. They also have pastries and latte's but I went mainly for food. As far as the chicken salad sandwich, I've had better. I would definitely go again. Also I don't know how the tipping situation works, if someone knows, please let me know :)

Food is still great but customer service still tends to be an issue Today there was a long line. As usual, the person taking orders moved down to salad and the soup with one customer leaving everything else waiting. Two people appeared to be manning the ordering register. One was laying on the register and seemed annoyed that he had to work today. The other acted as if someone had just died. The person behind me in line was also complaining about the service.

La Madeleine: Imagine a slightly French Panera Bread and that's what you get here. What makes this restaurant charming is the interior layout and small-town café theme. It all made sense and made feel like I was in Paris. The menu even boasted quiches, crepes, and pastries: all of which sounded wonderful on paper. The thing that made this experience subpar was the food itself and the cafeteria-style with which we got our food. When ordering, you go through a line with a tray to order bread, quiches, salad, etc, and then you take a seat. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind cafeteria-style food and cafeterias in general, but I did not like this at all especially given how fast the food came out, which makes me think the food was pre-made or microwaved. The quiches were disgusting, so I would recommend not getting those unless you're getting them for your dog. The chicken pesto pasta however reminded me that not all things at this café were bad. It was creamy and the chicken was excellent. The sauce on the crepes were almost identical to the chicken pesto sauce, and I would not be able to tell the difference between the one here and the one in Ikea in a blind taste test. Overall the quality of the ingredients seemed pretty low. I don't know if I would come back to eat here, but this café seems nice for meetings.

I love coming here just because they have the most amazing tomato basil soup! It's actually the only reason I come to La Madeleine. The place is usually very dirty and the last time I was here, the restrooms were out of paper towels and smelled as if people urinate regularly on the walls. The staff is also very inattentive and they really don't seem happy to be there, with the exception of this one lady that usually works the cash register. Another super plus thing, other than the tomato basil soup, is that if you have a uPromise credit card, the restaurant participates in the uPromise Rewards.

I wish it was a little more clear about how to order through that line. Everyone is nice and it's frustrating that you kind of have to wait to get something that's not already made. I think they should have a designated area for people with kids- I don't wanna hear your SCREAMING child while I'm trying to eat my quiche. Smells like old dishwater as well- not good

Great atmosphere with a tasteful menu for breakfast or lunch. I have come here for several years and having just spent time in France it is remarkable how much the restaurant makes you feel like you are in the French countryside, but the food is one star below great. Setup like a cafeteria style ordering process you walk to the counter and select along a line of offering or order from the menu. The people working are very friendly and have always made me feel welcome. While the food is good the quality of the ingredients is not always great. You can tell the breads are not made on site and that for such an amazing atmosphere that they did not try and get as creative with all ingredients. Would have loved to see some fresh cheeses or a crepe making station on the line. The pastry section also seems a little disconnected from the style I recall in France, but my wife and children do not rule that out from finishing with a smile. Overall it has great menu options and is a real step up from a Panera...

This place has yummy food... the chicken la madeleine was really tasty.. the chicken was so tender and the sauce on top of it was even better... the salmon dill was good but not as good as the chicken.. The place was busy being a weekend but they had a lot of seating.. even outdoor seating too.. lot of parking.. the ambience was also of a French nature.. this is a really good place to get a brunch.. Tucked in the shopping strip and away from the road, it's not too visible that such a good restaurant is there..happy that my friend told me that such a place existed so close by.. it's going to me on our list of goto eatouts joints...

I walked in and instantly noticed how vacant the restaurant seemed. That instantly made me began to wonder all of the possible reasons it appeared that way. Nevertheless, I continued on and ordered a slice of cheesecake, two fruit tarts and peach iced tea. To be honest, I ordered the fruit tarts because they were nice to look at. As someone who is a huge cheesecake fan, I have to say their cheesecake was nothing special. I couldve made it at home. It was pretty thick and not the most visually appealing either. Also, I'm not sure how I felt about practically spending $15 on a slice of cake, two fruit tarts and tea. Considering neither of the items were to die for.

I personally like the food. Not really a lot of gf options. However the chicken and rice is so yummy! The tomato soup is delicious!!! The downside it's crazy fattening. It's always crowded at lunch! So be prepared to wait in a line!

This is one of my favorite places to go for lunch. I usually get the salad trio. The fat free caesar dressing is great! The chicken salad is good too and you can use the complimentary bread to make sandwiches out of it. The strawberries Romanov are amazing! You really can't go wrong with this place and the staff is very polite and friendly.

Delicious! My friend and I wanted desert and coffee do that's what we got, so I can't speak For any of the other food. We split the pecan torte, the pumpkin pie, the Sacher torte, and the cheesecake all of which were great. The pecan torte was very sweet but we still enjoyed it quite a bit. The lattes were completely perfect, just be right amount of foam and syrup!

I got a fruit tart, the chocolate cake and a potato cake. I really like the fruit tart, the fruit tastes really fresh, and the tart is well baked. The chocolate cake was OK, not soft enough for my taste. I don't quite like the potato cake though.

I am SUPER happy to discover this little gem of a bakery tucked away in suburban Duluth and also located in the oddest of spots (it's neighbors are Rooms To Go and Toys R'Us!). Driving down Pleasant Hill, you would not expect to find this quaint space with the rows of car dealerships and gas stations that you pass. However, fortunately because the person I was meeting for lunch yesterday picked this venue, I discovered this little cafe which happens to be just a stone's throw from my apartment and minutes from my office! Can I do a happy dance?!!! So the set up is you walk in, grab a tray, and walk down the line where you start with your order and then get a wooden number sign to place on your table. Some things you can just get as you go, but for cold sandwiches and paninis, they will prepare and bring to you. They have a nice salad selection, soup, very appealing looking quiches, a nice espresso bar and even some desserts including a strawberry cheese parfait and a lemon tart! Great service too with a very friendly staff. The decor is charming and exudes warmth with dark wood paneling, hard wood floors, and cozy tables and chairs. The history is one that will make you smile too as you learn that La Madeleine is now one of 60 locations but started out when French Countryman Patrick Leon Esquerré came to America with little money in his pocket, broken English, and a dream. I am soo happy to have this restaurant in my neighborhood and am looking forward to supporting them and going as frequently as I can! :)

So here we go! This is one of the poorest set ups for a restaurant. They have real menus like as if there's table service. But instead it is a cafeteria style and poorly supervised. After watching people in front of me I was still confused. I had to order, than walk through the line, and pay. I was told they would bring me my soup. Then there is a drink station and bread. After I sat down my soup, White Bean & Vegetable, came out and it was pretty good. About 10 minutes later I still didn't have my food and the very nice person apologized and had someone quickly plate and bring it to me. I had the 1/2 Chicken Friand & 1/2 Quiche Lorraine special. They were not to good and tasted mostly like flour and butter. The Chocolate Eclair was mediocre at best. So, to sum it up the soup and staff are very good. The food and process is terrible. As I'm writing this the very apologetic manager came and gave me a $10 gift card. Again great customer service unfortunately poor most everything else.

Fool me once! Last time we visited this location I had the Parisian eggs Benedict and the eggs were hard and the hollandaise tasteless. This time more of the same but the hollandaise had actually separated. They prepared a new item fairly quickly but everyone left feeling less than satisfied. The saving grace was the strawberries Romanoff which is always a nice treat. Our recommendation - If you're looking to satisfy the Francophile in you, look elsewhere.

Went in at noon on Sunday......probably a peak time so they were very busy. Ordered food then found a table with very little hassle. The staff were friendly and helpful. eggs benedict were good. slightly heavier breakfast than my usual primarily due to bacon. but once in a while is good. orange juice was good as well, at times OJ is of bad quality. service is very good-polite and friendly. atmosphere is amazing-fireplace, wooden decor, and classic music playing in background thats great. wasnt crowded on friday morning which is a huge plus compared to nyc mornings. def will come back to try lunch/dinner.

Two words: Beef bourguignon. I have been here twice and both times I have had this amazing meal. The beef bourguignon is simply amazing. Fills you up and tickles all your taste buds. I have also tried their Chicken Friand, which is also really good. It's a pastry with chicken and mushrooms inside and bechamel sauce. This place is great for lunch, dinner, date night, and has wine available to enjoy with your meal. The wine itself is average and over-priced but besides that I have no complaints. The dessert here is also worth a try. The coconut cake was fresh, moist, and decadent. Finally i highly recommend the cappuccino. Their cappuccinos are amazing and are equivalent to that of any high end cafe that one can find.

DANG IT!!! It hasn't been one week since I declared to the Yelp world that I plan to eat healthier for the next 3 months. I debated with myself heavily over coming here for a nice solo breakfast since I'm not very familiar with French foods. However after this visit, I quickly learned that "French" cuisine means rich creams and sauces. THE SCENE In my efforts to eat healthier I don't think I did myself any favors by coming to La Madeleine. I've visited this location years ago not really paying attention to the fact that it was French food. In those days the only thing I was interested in was the Tuna Salad croissant sandwich. I was in the area today which allowed me the opportunity to try them again. I must say the menu looks phenomenal. So many great looking sandwiches and entrees that it was difficult figuring out exactly what I wanted to order. I asked a staff member working there what were A) the popular dishes and B) her favorites. She guided me towards a dish that looked amazing on the menu... the chicken crepe. Whooo Hooo! I'm gonna be eating French food y'all!!! ------------ - - - - - - THE DETAILS Date & Time: Sunday, January 6th, 2013 @ 1:30pm Dining Companions: Solo What to expect: French country deco, low ceiling, brick accents, wood floors - very charming Server: Heidi L (thanks for the suggestions) Liquid: water Ordered: Chicken Crepe (4 out of 5 stars) - $9.99 w/potato gallett ($1.69) French vanilla crème brulee ($1.79) Dislikes: None, but I wasn't prepared for such rich creams & wine sauces Total: $14.28 ------------ - - - - - THE FOOD The restaurant was packed wall-to-wall with people which was a good thing in my opinion because I was questioning if I wanted to eat here (lots of people = good food). One patron in line behind me got a huge kick out of my confusion over what to order. She really took the time to guide me through the menu items that she loves, one being the tomato bisque soup. Now I've had tomato bisque soup at several restaurants but none of them have tasted this smooth. It was rich and creamy in a way that I hadn't experienced before. It was only a sample cup, but I'll be sure to order this with a sandwich on my next visit. Back to the Chicken Crepe --- This meal was all kinds of delicious. I don't want to know what it cost me in calories, but well worth it to have something this tasty. It was the kind of meal that makes you want to relax all swaddled up in comforters and flannel PJ's near a fire with a great book. Aiding those warm & fuzzy feelings was the lovely country french decor of La Madeleine. It's cozy enough for couples, welcoming enough for families, and warm enough for a solo diner like me. The fireplace was going, people were laughing and talking, and the staff was busy, busy, busy rapidly delivering food in their chef uniforms to all the hungry tables. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if I could walk out to a view of the Eiffel Tower. Lots of charm here and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Not part of my plan or good for my calorie count was a little mini crème brulee I purchased while checking out. It was a perfect treat after my meal! THE VERDICT The menu was one of the first I've seen in a while that made me want to try every item listed. Overall the food was about a 3.75 but the atmosphere was easily a cheerful 5. I've said it many time: There is something about the way a place makes you feel that enhances the flavor of the food. I really look forward to coming back to taste something new! Yelp100 [30]

After visiting La Madeleine three times to collect my thoughts for writing this review, I can tell you that what I like about this place is their simplistic approach to food. Yes, it's classic French café cuisine. Here, you won't find truffled this, or quinoa that - or any of those other trendy ingredients. You will find tasty sandwiches - like turkey & brie, French dip, chicken & pesto, or the croque monsieur. The soups are equally tasty - like the cream of mushroom, country potato, French onion, or tomato basil. They also offer tasty salads, like the classic caesar, roasted pear and prosciutto, or the balsamic chicken salad. They also have a small bakery counter with various French pastries, cookies, and other assorted baked goods. Yummy goodness. If you're lucky, you'll stop by on a day that they have their homemade potato chips - lightly tossed in (what I believe to be) oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Today, I enjoyed the mini croque trio - a mini croque monsieur, mini chicken pesto croque, and a mini turkey, bacon, and tomato pesto croque with a cranberry & pecan field green salad - all for a little over $8. Very fresh, flavorful and satisfying. If you can, this is certainly an ideal spot for lunch. I would definitely call this an upgrade over their competitors Panera Bread and Newks. Bon Appétit!

Great cafe to relax and enjoy great food. The Beef Bourguignon is simply divine! Desserts are just as good! Make sure to enjoy some coffee alongside the hearth of the fireplace along with some nice convo.

I come here way too often probably. But it's okay, I'm not hurting anyone. Their potato soup is the best soup I think I've ever had. Ever. Ask for extra bacon and cheese, and with their unlimited bread, a bowl of that will pick you up for most of the day. All of their cakes are good, but my favorite is the strawberry Napoleon. So fresh and delicious. The pastry crust is very thick and hard to slice, so I suggest not sharing this one. Or ordering two I suppose. Their chicken salad croissant sandwich, strawberries and fresh cream, and salads are all super good. And their (unlimited) French roast coffee is also perfect too. The service has always been incredibly friendly as well. Love this place! If you can't get to France, this for sure is the next best thing :)

Ate here on a Wednesday afternoon and it was packed with only a few tables not taken. Ordered a potato soup, fruit salad, french dip, and an orangina. The potato soup was delicious and the cheddar inside had melted and tasted really good. The fruit salad was all melon and grapes and wasn't very fresh. The french dip had crispy bread but that was about it. The roast beef was overcooked, the cheese was flavorless, and the caramelized onions weren't caramelized. They were barely cooked and still tasted raw. The au jus tasted good but when I dipped the sandwich inside it tasted horrible.
