Hooters used to be the only establisment in the newely coined "breastaurant" business. Now with competition from "Twin Peaks" and "Tilted Kilt" Hooters, in my opinion, has slowly been declining in both food and service. They need to get their act together. And this location, in my opinion, is a step in the right direction. The restaurant is newly remodeled with a more modern look. No more slinging order slips down a clothes line to the cooks. They are hidden away in the back. Now I did come in after the lunch rush so Im not sure how the servers are doing when they are busy. My server's name was Erica. Total sweetheart. In my other recent experiences with Hooters most of the girls have really not given me the time of day. Erica was the total opposite. Very talkative and always checked to see how I was doing. The food was pretty good too. I had the fried pickles to start. Not too much breading and they came out piping hot. The dipping sauce also had a kick to it. Now here is my dilema with Hooters. I ended up getting the sliders appetizer (2 burgers & 2 buffalo chicken). The burgers were fine. They are supposed to be known for their wings. Im not sure if it is my taste buds, their sauces, or the chicken itself, but I always end up disappointed with the boneless variety. Something just not right about the taste. I'll have to try the traditional wings next time. I would have probably given 5 stars for my experience but they ran out of my first selection of my alcoholic beverage, which was Johnny Appleseed hard cider. I ended up getting a large Yuengling draft. Something about that didn't taste right either. Oh well. But as I mentioned this location is heading in the right direction to improve the Hooters name. And if all the servers were like Erica they could easily get back to the top.

I resisted going to Hooters because #1 it is a chain restaurant and #2 if I just wanted to see boobies while eating I could look down. I couldn't resist the burger that was covered in jalapenos, Pico de gallo, and ancho chipotle sauce with some baked beans on the side. However, I can only recommend the beans. The burger seemed to have no flavor at all except for the toppings which were tasty. Maybe if you drank a lot of beer firs & were distracted by the boobies it might be more memorable.

Currently sitting in Hooters and am not happy. Being a former Hooters Girl, I'm thoroughly disappointed. Makes me sad honestly. Not a SINGLE empty table was clean, it's not that hard to do ladies and not a single person said "Welcome to Hooters!" And there was three girls at the front door and not a single one said it, I couldn't believe it! The girl (Mallory) never introduced herself, never suggested a drink or app or food for that matter, never brought us waters with our drinks as requested, never checked back on our hootertizers after she forgot items we had, those forgotten items ended up coming out burned, she also neglected to notice drinks were empty( I drink more than one or two cocktails when out anywhere), ignored us and paid attention to tables that probably wouldn't have tipped her as much honestly, never asked if we wanted anything else to eat. We had to get a managers attention for water and the check, he confronted another HG and she replies with "that's not my table"! Ha are you kidding me, as a Hooters Girl you are responsible for everyone in that place, and you listen to your managers! I'm sorry to vent, but I'm thoroughly ticked off. I was a Hooters Girl and trainer for the better locations throughout Georgia, so when I go to my favorite sports bar to enjoy and get crapped on basically, it's aggravating! Especially when I know the steps of service that are on the notepad she is writing on, right on the bottom, read up! Come on! This was by far the worst service I've experienced. She brought O'douls instead of Angry Orchid or Woodchuck after implying that Hooters carries it and obviously had no clue of what few beers you do have. She didn't even know one of the new signature drinks you have when I requested it "The Tropical Lit". Either you're not covering what you need to in jump start or she isn't listening. Last but not least, my last impression did not include even a simple "thank you" on our check! You are so lucky I wasn't a shop, she, and the store would've failed miserably! I honestly hope you use this effectively to go back to your basics and reinforce simple steps of service, they are vital to give to each and every guest that walks in the door.

Love this hooters.the girls are awesome. Menu needs more stuff on it. However the staff is what makes it worth while.

I came here once and then never going back unless i really have craving. I have no beef with the hooters franchise since this where we "the Guys" go to eat in FL a lot. What more can you ask for WINGS AND BOOBS but this location the food is not so good. I feel something is missing or the food has gone down or not as good as what i remember hooters used to be or should be. The place felt so down when we walked in and the workers looked a bit gloomy. Either way I will only get togo from here when i have craving for some hooters wings because of old memories.

I haven't been to a Hooters for a long time. There was one outside my hotel and I needed to eat so the stars were aligned. The service was great, the food was good the wait time for said food was prolonged. Overall it's that opposite of what I expected and my experience there was very positive. Not a bad place for a bite in a pinch.

Service was good, Wings were awful. We ordered 50 wings, 10 of which were "three mile island". On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the hottest, I'd give them a 5. Not even close to Hot. And what's with the wing tips? gag. We also ordered 20 "Hot" wings and as expected, they were more like mild and tasted like they were cooked in 10 year old grease. Sorry, but I won't be back.

Unlike the Hooters of Lawrenceville Restaurant, we have found we get better service at this Hooters location. The servers seem to be more customer friendly and make you feel welcome. No one is going to expect perfect service from Hooters, unless you are a regular. We have only been to this location 3 times, though we agree this location has replaced the Lawrenceville location. The servers at this location are more prompt and not leaving you waiting to take your order, like the servers do at the Lawrenceville location. The managers are more friendly and come around and greet you, which is a hit or miss at the Lawrenceville location. Hooters is our favorite place for wings. We were pretty sure that we would never go to Hooters again, because of the bad service we have recently been getting at the Lawrenceville location. Both the service and attitudes of the employees at this location is so much better, then what you find at the Lawrenceville location. Sadly, it shouldn't be that way, though we are hoping that the great service will continue at this location. Wings are always good!

Went there on Monday night with my husband and it took a while to get seated. The waitress checked on us twice. Once to take drink order and the second time was when we got the check. Wings were slathered in so much sauce. I couldn't eat them. The manager was walking around and asked if we were doing ok. I told him we needed refills on the drinks, he said he would get our waitress. She only came back to give us the check. Very poor service and the food was to the point I couldn't eat it. My husband and I won't go back there anytime soon!!!

Food and service is pretty good. Good place to go for Gameday!! Wings are the best!!

The service here was really good. Our waitress was very attentive to making sure we get refills and checking up on us regularly. Only complaint is the cleanliness of this place. The floors were horribly sticky. It was like peeling off my shoes of the floor with each step. Bathroom was kind of dirty also but otherwise it was a pleasant visit.

I've been to a lot of Hooters in my lifetime and they're all pretty much the same. However, this one seemed to attract the wrong crowd. As soon as we arrived there were people screaming and arguing outside (apparently the fight was originally inside). We had okay service at the bar. I asked for a vodka-water and received a vodka-soda water two times. Our waitress was nice. Not someplace I'd frequent again when traveling to our Georgia branch...hopefully I can find a decent bar!

Ordered the buffalo shrimp seasoned in old bay try came out quick and tasted good. Ordered strip cheese sandwich and fries with cheese on the side. Meal was good and hot but took a little too long to come out. Sat at the bar and the bartender was nice. Restaurant looked clean and newer then some Hooters that I have been in. The kitchen was not out in the open, like it is in some restaurants, so it didn't smell like fried food.

Probably the worst hooters experience I've ever had. Typically I'm not the type that is so quick to judge service or food but this was awful. My boyfriend and I can in around 11pm and we're pretty excited to eat. We ordered nachos, buffalo shrimp, and buffalo sliders. We waited for an hour before we got our food, but we didn't really mind. Our waiter was pretty sweet. The waiter brought out our nachos and buffalo shrimp first. the cheese was cold, as if it came right out the fridge, and we specifically asked for no lettuce, and sour cream, but it was still on there. The meat wasn't even warm. I ordered the 12 piece buffalo shrimp as hot and I only got 8. EIGHT. It wasn't even the flavor I chose either. Definitely a waste of time, probably won't go back anytime soon. What an epic fail.

Is no stars an option? The girl that seated us put us at a table for four when there were five of us and a table one back for 6. We waited a. Hour and NEVER got food or refills. Then the manager said it was his first day. Needless to say, I would strongly recommend NOT going to this Hooters for anything. I don't know if our waitress just forgot to put our order in or the kitchen was incompetent. It appeared as though it was the waitresses fault because the other people that seated after we did got their food- But who knows, she never came to the table. .

The nicest Hooters I've EVER been too! Food was descent. Came on Wednesday night when it was boneless wings for $7.99 & all you eat for an additional $5.00. More blown away by the decor than anything else.

This place is disgusting. Dirty silverware and glasses. The waitresses were too busy flirting to pay attention to those actually wanting to eat. The wings were ok but definitely not great. Oh...and to top it off the bill had a mistake on it. Service was also slow. Just an overall disaster.

  • Nicholas S.

Our experience was awful. Party of four and all our food was served separately and cold. Waitress was very unfriendly and inattentive. Acted like she had a problem with all of us and kept challenging one of my friends everytime she passed by with, "hey, are you okay? You sure? You look like something wrong." This went on until the waitress eventually just disappeared and never came back. Wouldnt even come back to bring the check.

Fun place. A nice stop in Duluth. I wish they had a wider variety of draft beer, but they have all of the basics, Heineken, Sweetwater and Bud Light, so it works. I am not a big wing guy, but they are crispy and good. I like this location as the staff is always friendly and are better looking then then the other locations I have been to in Atlanta. If you have not been, I would say this location is worth the stop.

Worst customer service ever.. Sat for 10-15 min with no help at all.. Then another group sat beside us and the server told us to wait, then attended to them... I use to get great service 4 months ago but lately it's been steadily bad. I guess customer service is not a top priority there anymore which is sad bc we use to come in regularly to have our meetings but not anymore.

My husband and I had not had wings in a long time since the BWW near our old place closed and since we've lived in this area, so we decided to go here. I hadn't been to a Hooters in many years. Food: The curly fries were good and well seasoned, and the wings were delicious! We ordered both the Daytona Beach and Chipotle Honey. Really good flavors! The Chipotle Honey is a favorite, probably because it reminds us of our favorite wing spot in Florida. Service: Overall score Average: Poor: (We waited 5 minutes or so before anyone came to greet us or seat us. After we got seated it took forever for them to decide who was going to service us and the waitress we did have seemed incompetent to be working in the bar area. She didn't know the difference between beers and offered another type of beer that wasn't even a cider beer ( I guess because she didn't know what cider beers were). Additionally, she didn't bring us anything to drink and didn't even check up on us. When it was time to order another waitress came to take our order Excellent: The other waitress who ended up taking over our table and serving us was great! She was knowledgeable and attentive to her customers. She seemed to be the only one around there actually working. All the other waitress were very nonchalant with their service except her and the bartender. Ambiance: It's a sports bar, so what else would you expect?

Extremely slow service not enough cute girls my server was pretty though. She seemed a bit distracted though. The evening manager an Asian guy in his 30's was pretty mean to some of the girls (calling them names, bumping into them on purpose w/o apologizing ect) not a fun atmosphere.

My favorite "on the way home " dinner pick up ! The girls Coco and Nam are always very welcoming. Nice to walk in and know they know EXACTLY what I order, how I prefer to have it cooked and how quickly I want to get home! great place to unwind before getting home!

I was craving wings and somehow I ended up here on a Thursday night. I don't understand why everyone talks so badly of this place... Then again I did come on a slooooow Thursday night. Eh. I thought my experience was pretty good. Our server Jess was very helpful and very quick at refilling waters and checking on us. I love wings and Hooters wings are pretty up there imo. Their Habanero BBQ is soooo good! Do not let the little flames scare you... although it was a lot spicier than I imagined. Holy crap. They were spicier than the 3 Mile ones I ordered and those were rated to be spicer than the Habanero BBQ! They were so good but so spicy I had to down so much water. The 3 Mile one is okay... your average sour spicy buffalo flavor. I really enjoyed the Chipotle Honey though. It helped relieve my mouth after eating the Habneros haha. Their wings are nicely sized and on the crispy side just the way I like it :) Probably will be back but I will make sure to come on a slow night again. I see many yelpers experiencing such long waits and I rather not have to go through that haha.

Are you f**ken kidding me! This place is a joke and has gone down hill! Went here yesterday with a party of 8 people. When we first arrived through the doors, stood at the counter and waited to be seated. No one greeted us, and we waited for 25 minutes before the hostess finally came from behind the booth after she finished talking to what seemed to be her boyfriend, she asked us if we needed help. She then told us to hold on and that we would need to wait until one if the waitresses were available to serve us. Huh?!!! We waited an additional 30 minutes and right before walking out or exploding and cussing someone out, the manager (this young, unpolished gentleman) comes out from the kitchen to seat us down. He apologizes and sends us a waitress. The waitress once she arrived, apologizes and says it's her first day and she is nervous and still new at this. The pros: she was easy on the eyes, and very polite. The cons: she was slow as hell and messed up on our orders twice. Once we placed our orders, it finally arrived an hour later, cold!!! Seriously? Cold wings? A tasteless burger? And cold fries and crab legs? Wtf?!!! We were so upset, we left without paying! We did not eat the food, we only ordered water to drink. After our night was ruined at Hooters, we just left and instead (at this point hungry as hell, malnourished, and disappointed) we decided to go across the street and have some Asian food instead. We went to the Asian restaurant called Mings BBQ! The food there is amazing!! Thanks to the group of great friends and Family I was with, we at least enjoyed each other's company while sipping on water and watching the sports games on TV at Hooters. That was the only other PROS at this Hooters, other then our pretty waitress. If you want bad service and cold American food, come to Hooters in Duluth. Good luck. And enjoy being disappointed!

Food was good and fast.. Service was just ok.. Seem like my server Erica disappeared on me.. Smh! Other than that, everything was cool.

For a Friday night, I did not expect that great of service. But Erica was the best. Smiled every time she came to the table. I'd continue to go just for her service. Our food was out quickly as well. But major props to Erica. More waitresses should learn from her

This is the worst Hooter's I've been to. The hostess (Tamara) seemed annoyed upon our arrival that we needed to be seated. It then took over 15 minutes for the waitress to come by to take any order before we left to go to the Chili's across the street. If you have ant sense of self-respect, I would not go to this Hooter's since they treat their customers like dirt.

    (1)
  • Kim H.

Such a disappointment. We waited 1hr 45 mins for our food which was COLD When we finally got it. The "waitress" was crap too. We saw her twice the whole time. They weren't even busy. Tables all around us the whole time. We won't be back. We will go elsewhere & will tell friends & family to do the same.

    (1)
  • Rossana M.

I like the place much more now than before! They added outside seating with TVs and the place looks a lot nicer inside. Good job! Food is OK but it's one of the best spots to watch the World Cup, drinks are good.

I used to be a huge fan of Hooters' wings when I was living in L.A. I recall going with a couple friends who were also fans and trying to see how many wings each of us could eat. I think the most I could eat at the time was around 20 or so. Crazy, I know. =P But since I moved to GA and found much better wing places here, I've probably only eaten at Hooters about 3 times or so. Most recently, a couple of my friends and I went to this Hooters in Duluth on a Sunday afternoon. They decided to come to Hooters, of all places, because they were excited to be able to order beer at a restaurant on Sunday. I shared an order of 20 "3 Mile Island" flavored wings (10 breaded and 10 naked) and Curley Fries with my friend. When I asked for ranch sauce, the server informed me that they charge 50 cents for sauce, but it would be 99 cents for sauce AND some celery sticks (or carrots). Damn, I had forgotten about this little annoying fact. I don't get why they have to charge for sauce when most other wing shops don't, but I opted for the ranch and celery sticks. The "3 Mile Island" wings were okay, but not the best wings I've had at Hooters. I usually order them "Hot," but thought of Taco Mac's version (which is amazing) and thought they would be great. Oh well. And the Curley Fries weren't as good as I remembered them (I used to LOVE them), but they were alright as well. Overall, this Hooters gets 3 stars because everything here - including the service and food - was just "A-OK" in my opinion. I'm sure I will be back at some point, but I will be sure to stick with my usual "Hot" wings at Hooters from now on. [Review 054 of 366]

I went here with my friends to watch the game the host was friendly but our waitress was not it took her 30 min to bring us our food she didn't even bring it it was two other girls who did and it was a slow night more then half the restaurant was empty she brought our food and one Plat was mad full of fries and one was almost empty I asked her why is My plate almost empty and she said it was the cooks who do it I waited a good 15 min till I saw her and was able to get a refill I had to whistle to get her attention as she was at the jukebox. It as if she thought oh I'm hot they will let me get away with it. Whenever I go the girls always go flirt with the older folks and the fat guys it appears they are more focused on getting a easy tip wrather then attending there guests.

Yeah the wings here.. Are whatever and the servers here try to be all stuck up. Our server kept telling us she had to go to rush us..so I threw her a $50 dollar tip..for a 20 dollar ticket. She didn't rush to leave anymore..she actually sat down and tried to chat it up with us. Lol but yeah food was below average. That spot twin peaks is taking over now.

Buffalo Shrimp and honey chipotle wings are wonderful! This Location is average, nothing too spectacular or extraordinary. The servers are flirty and friendly as normal. It's a bit out of the way for me to get to but no complaints here

  • Ana S.

It really depends on who you get as waitress. I came here a total of three times, and had different experiences between the first two and the last. The first two times I went, we had the same waitress and she was great. She was nice and always gave us refills for our drinks. The third time was a disappointment. Don't get me wrong, this girl was nice. The service she gave was terrible. She never refilled our drinks nor did she get our order right. Maybe it was the fact that we went during AYCE wings Monday night. She was just very forgetful and I was very dissapointed with my experience. Oh, and AYCE wings come in five intervals after the first ten. Never knew. And the wings were small. It wasn't worth it.

My Husband and I went to this location twice and both were bad experiences. The first time was when they just finished remodel the place, the booth we sat at there dirty the table was dirty and the waitress had To clean it before we sat down and the floor was just nasty there were foods everywhere on the floor. That was my first impression when we just got there, we ordered the wings and we said extra "crispy" but they were not CRISPY at all because there were still a lot of fat on the wings and I hate that. Then the second time, which was yesterday (12/10/2013) again the booth was dirty there were foods on the floor everywhere and we sat only 1 booth behind from where we sat the first time. This time the foods were even WORST, again we ordered wings and said EXTRA CRISPY. I ate 2 wings and then the 3rd one I notice the meat was a little pink on the inside, but I thought it was just the sauce. My husband he ate 4 and then on 5th one he notice the skin were way TOOOOO RUBBERY and you can't even peel off the skin. He started to pull apart the wings and the wings were PINKISH/REDDISH color. THE WINGS WERE NOT COOK!!!!!!! WAHT HAPPEN TO EXTRA CRISPY?!!???!!! We told the waitress (she's very nice and good service) and she said the manager will come out to talk to us, but we just want the bill so we can go. The manager didn't came out and we didn't pay for the foods, just the beer I guess the manager was TOO busy for the customers and didn't really care whether their chief served UNCOOK FOODS or not. WOULD NEVER COME BACK TO THIS HOOTERS LOCATION.!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION. DULUTH HWY IN LAWRENCEVILLE IS THE BEST!!

Massive improvement from a year ago. The entire establishment got remodeled for the better. The kitchen is in the back, the bar is lit up and colorful, and TVs on every wall are easy to see if you are following a game.
