I was pleasantly surprised how awesome the food was. We've lived a few miles from it for About five years and never bothered. My wife had the salmon, and said it was the BEST cooked salmon she's ever had (which is a big deal, she's a pescatarian). I had the ribs, which were delicious - I was not disappointed at all. Must say, after salads and main meals, we had no room for desert. Maybe next time.

I love this restaurant! The wait on Sunday afternoons is long but the food is amazing!

Place is dirty and trash left on ground as wait staff walk all over it. They are even arguing with each other in front of you. Orders come out very slow. Not the quality you expect from a longhorn chain. This is absolutely not on the same level. Drive to another one if you want to go to longhorns. Rude host. Even the host would not answer my question about crayons for my daughter kids menu. He finally turned around rudely and yelled its in the silverware.

Very disappointed with food, very pricey for what you get. Prime rib was not high quality and knowing this is a steakhouse my better half tried the fish dinner and it was terrible. We are better off to buy the steaks at BJ's and cook ourselves. Not worth the trip out.

We dine at this Longhorn on Marketplace Blvd often and always get great food and friendly service. Sometimes the staff and kitchen are very busy and we have to wait a bit for service, but that says the meals you get are being freshly prepared and large crowds mean great food. The weekends can get especially busy, so realize that there may be a wait for drinks and food whether at the bar or at a table. Both Denise and Cindy are fantastic bartenders and make dining there fun. Going to the bar doesn't always mean you'll get faster food or service than waiting for a table. The girls behind the bar serve drinks, take orders, and serve meals that come from the busy kitchen as well. They do an amazing job! I do agree with the review saying that the bar is not a place for children.

Thank you, Longhorn on Marketplace, for providing me a good steak joint down the road from a place I used to frequent. I recently had a TERRIBLE experience at their local competition (you can read the long, explicit review) and Longhorn more than made up for it. In fact, leave it to my husband to recognize the waiter from one of our good experiences at the other horrible place who had left due to "management running the restaurant into the ground." We can attest... In any case, we really enjoyed our visit. A manager greeted us and sat us right away. Our waiter was just as good as he had been on our previous meeting. Friendly, prompt, very knowledgable and definitely enjoyed his job! Our meals were excellent, starting with the warm, whole grain bread. Husband had salmon over rice with a baked potato and salad. Salmon was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Salad was fresh and crispy with (his words) he perfect amount of ranch! I enjoyed the Grilled Chicken & Strawberry salad - crisp greens, tasty, juicy chicken, fresh strawberries. Very tasty. My only complaint is that it is I wish it were larger for a $13 salad. We took our remaining bread (can't let it get thrown away) and it reheated very well the next day under the broiler. We found our new favorite!

Food was great, no complaints there. But we took my dad here for his birthday, and I've never had worse service. I tried to ask for something for his birthday, the waitress literally throws it on the table with no remarks. I mean I guess it's a lot to ask to say happy birthday.

Even Subway makes a steak sandwich that isn't un-eatable. The shaved sirloin sandwich is listed as a new item. Remove it pronto. For a steakhouse, this sandwich was a grave disappointment - and lingers the afternoon with a sad reminder of my poor menu choice. Sparse meat. Anemic onion straws. And a coagulated dip that was offered as cheese sauce. For the love of all that's good - improve that sandwich or get rid of it.

Not a good experience...which we don't go out much cause we can't afford to and from past visits chose Longhorn cause it was always good! Not tonight! STEAK OVERDONE (manager took it off the check it was so wrong)...POTATO OVERDONE...and service not as professional as I expected it to be ... In addition there was a foul smell coming from the restroom area and the area needed a cleaning ... my husband stated he was grateful he didn't go to rr before he ate! What a disappointment! ! I am not one to make a living of slamming eating establishments but this time it was necessary. ..

Today was my wife's birthday, and she wanted to go here. We eat here every couple of months, and the food is better than average. They chose not to sing Happy Birthday to her, excuse being "she was in the bathroom, so that's my get out of jail free card for not wanting to sing". Very lame, despite my feelings I tipped this substandard waitress 20%. Will not be back....

My wife & I are Friday night regulars at the bar for dinner & drinks. This evening was the worst night since we started going there. The problem isn't the food, service, or staff - they're great. Cindy & Denise always take very good care of us. But, they need help from management. The manager needs to be more attentive to what's going on. Adult patrons were two deep waiting for bar seating because there were kids with their parents sitting at the bar. In both cases while we were there, these parties spent a good amount of time but consumed only a few appetizers & soft drinks. CUSTOMERS: Don't bring your kids to bar. They are not welcome there. The bar area is for adults. If we wanted to eat with your family we'd invite ourselves to your house for dinner. MANAGERS: Surely, the bar can be reserved for your adult patrons. Pay attention to what's going on. Many of us seek out the bar specifically to avoid dining near children. And, we get really, really pissed when we have to wait for seating because kids are there spinning around on the stools. Besides, catering to adults at the bar makes good business sense. Our dinner/drinks tab is more than a couple of sodas & a side of chicken tenders. And we come back the next week to drop another $100 - unless we go down the street to one of the other steak houses.

Ran in for a quick lunch and sat at the bar. Denise provided outstanding and friendly service. I tried the new Sirloin Chimichurri Melt and loved it. Thanks for keeping your menu fresh and adding new items regularly!

Just came back in August 2015 with my mom who has always been a longhorn fan. I'm over the value part and now looking at what they are adding to get more people in. Came in recently for the fried green tomatoes, asparagus and a actually got a steak/philly sandwich and lunch to share and it was very tasty. Service is from the girls who have been there forever, good service, kind of "diner like"- used to be bit more upscale- but if you get a renegade( hope thats longhorn) - just a sirloin as Flo just doesn't cut it any more for me, even burgers are quite good and appetizers this is what my mom likes who I'll be back. Not as crowded as it used to be but consistent and worth a better update than what I had before. Have to say, Longhorn is not that good any more. Used to go years ago and always get a Flo's filet, great service, meal, now it's WAY overpriced ( an 8 0z filet is now over $23 ( for a flat griddle steak?), service staff is always changing, salads are good, and bread is good but for a Steak??? I'll stay home and cook my own. I can get 2 14oz filets and all the fixins for less than 35 bucks and it would cost me over $60 here now for 2. Not going back if I can help it. Dedcuting points not for service or location- it's management. They keep making the steaks smaller, smaller, and raising prices. Not smart. Lost me for sure! I USED to know I was getting a good steak and meal. Now, must have new owners who are cheap. Too bad....

Fast, courteous service. Walked in at 5 and was promptly seated and drink order taken. Server charged me the lunch price for the dinner steak because I didn't want a salad.

My family of four went to dinner at Longhorn a few nights ago. My boys are big steak eaters. The wait for our food was extremely long and when the food arrived, the steaks were cold while the potatoes were scalding hot. Our waitress barely made it over to our table. We did let her know that the steaks were not up to par (each boy ate 3 bites if that of the entire meal), but that we didn't want to wait anohter 30 minutes to get another steak. She shook her head and walked away from the table. A manager never came to visit nor were the steaks removed from the order. I did fill out the survey online as well about how bad the food and serivce was for our visit. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

My mom, infant daughter and I has lunch here last week. This was my first time in a Longhorn in many years. I got a soup and salad for $6.99. That is hard to beat pricewise. My French onion soup was fabulous (and I am really picky about my soups). My salad was standard: iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, cucumbers and croutons. The waitress forgot to put my mom's dressing on the side which is not unusual request. I won't deduct points for it overall as it was a small mistake My mother got a fire-something grilled shrimp which she enjoyed. The waitress did get her special request on the sweet potato right (no cinnamon and sugar) so she was forgiven for the salad faux pas. My daughter is 10 months old and generally makes a mess at restaurants. She made one here (I tip accordingly) and no one gave me a dirty look. The waitress kindly brought us a kiddie cup and crackers upon request. All in all, the restaurant was clean, the staff attentive, and the food tasty. One can't ask for more than that.

I live local to this Longhorn's and thought it would be a nice place to get take out for my family. Boy, was I wrong. The best part of the whole experience was the friendly bartender who finished my transaction. I departed from this Longhorn's with over $90.00 in food for 4 people. The filets I brought home were completely covered with spices, so much so that they were inedible. I attempted to salvage the filets by scrapping & trimming the filets by cutting off the seasoning. Nothing helped. At that point I phoned the manager and explained what I was experiencing. He was polite but quickly said no one else had complained today. He acted as though my complaint had no merit or validity. Then he asked me for my address & said he was going to send a gift card so I would try Longhorn's again. The gift card never came. I feel that this was his feeble attempt at getting me off the phone. He definitely lacked sincerity. I think he said his name was Todd. Either way, I will never eat here again. I will also be sure to pass on my experience with this location to my friends & family.

One of our favorite places to eat when we want a great steak or relatively inexpensive lunch. The service and management are very attentive and work hard to make sure you have a nice time.
