I have been looking for a restaurant similar to Chipotle in price, quality and taste in the Covington area and still haven't found one :( I absolutely loooooove Chipotle's burrito bowls! I ordered a burrito bowl from Bullritos which was ~$7.50 including tax. The ingredients were not fresh at all, had no flavor and the rice tasted like it was refrigerated and reheated. I even saw one of the employees with her hands in the rice breaking up the chunks. Also you get a free cookie if you write them a review on yelp or facebook so a lot of these people writing fantastic reviews probably got a free cookie lol! I will not be returning.

Good but not Chipotle good. For this area the price point is a bit steep. The food is fresh and the restaurant is clean.

Great burritos, margaritas, & complimentary ice cream... what's not to love? It's a great place to stop off highway 20. Will be back!

Better than Moes, Willies, and any other fast food Mexican I have EVER had! Pulled pork and the steak tacos are a homerun!

Best TEX MEX burrito restaurant around. You won't find quacamole that stays neon green for days here, everything they serve is made fresh in house daily. The staff was super friendly and was able to offer all sorts of useful information about the history of Covington which as a tourist I loved. It was also nice that they offered super clean facilities all around. I had the Pork which was so juicy and spiced just right, it was pulled out a vat of amazingness, followed by a cookie that was cooked just right. I will definitely keep an eye out for a Bullritos was I get back to Texas they are great!

ChipoltWho? Bullritos is darn right craveabull! Amazing chicken and beef freshly prepared veggies and corn salsa to die for; also as a Texan it's nice to be served some real QUESO! Yummy! Friendly staff and very nice facilities! Best TEX MEX in Town.

This place was pretty good. When you walk in, you grab a bag and a marker & choose what you are going to eat. The prices are very reasonable. I have two complaints... First, it was extremely cold in there. Like, I am usually always hot, but it felt like an igloo in Antarctica in there the day we went. Everyone that had ordered food before us were eating outside and all those tables were full so we had to eat in the frigid air. Second, they were out of medium sized cups. The girl ringing us up advised us we could do a large or a small size. I asked if we could do a large cup at the medium price since they were out of mediums. She said, no it doesn't work that way. So we chose a large size because we were on the way home and wanted enough drink so we didn't have to stop again. I will try this place again when I am that way.

I completely agree with the phrase, "Chipotle-who?" This place blows Chipotle out of the water and has 5x more selection than Chipotle. Plus....They have free soft serve ice cream. The only reason I didn't go 5-star is because I think some of the prices are a little high, but portions are generous.

had a lot of expectations walking into this place -- what with the star rating it has on yelp. high expectations -- that must have been the fatal flaw! their menu variety as far wider than the name of the restaurant would imply. i was kind of surprised by that. i was expecting a moe's. felt more like a qdoba. ATMOSPHERE. your usual, modern day decor designed to provide minimal comfort and maximum utility. in other words, easy to clean, easy to maintain, functional for you to eat at, and uncomfortable so you'll get the hell out once you're done. :) CUISINE. lower side of average. ordered carnitas tacos on soft corn tortillas. first of all, props for having soft corn tortillas that weren't dried out. too bad i can't say the same about the carnitas. pork was drier than a british sense of humor. the chicken quesadillas were "flat" (haha) and tasteless, relying on cheese to drive the flavor. didn't work. the beans were the best part of the meal especially since the cilantro lime rice was soggy. queso dip and chips was a nice touch though. VALUE. great price all around. you get a better than healthy portion of food. for the price, it's quite a bargain. they follow the dickey's bbq model and offer free dessert as well -- in the form of chocolate soft serve ice cream. who can hate that? OVERALL. i guess it would be fair to say this is the dickey's bbq of burrito joints. it's exactly what i think of when i imagine bullritos. i -really- wanted to like this place, but i doubt i will ever go back.

I just finished their excellent burrito and I can't wait to go back! This is the first time I've been there and knew I had to take a few minutes to rate them 5 stars, easily. We need one of these in NC, which I just told the very nice girl working there too. They have pulled pork and tamales, gotta try that next time. Even the name and logo is cool, but the freshness and tasty food are above Moes, Chipotle, and Qdoba. You guys in Covington are spoiled having this place! Oh yeah, they even have the good crushed ice and a complimentary ice cream cone.

I'm from San Antonio and its nice to find a decent tex-mex spot in Ga. No complaints here other than my food could've been a little warmer. Food is cooked in small catches but not a long wait at all. Fresh good fresh ingredients...VHECK IT OUT!!

The burritos at Bullritos are perhaps one of the best I have ever had. All of the food is made fresh, and you can easily tell as soon as you take your first bite. I tried both the steak and chicken burritos, and both are amazing. Also, their cilantro ranch sauce is incredible. While I was there, I had a chance to meet the owners and they are incredibly nice. While I was talking to them, at least two different people came over and complimented them on the food (one lady said she drove all the way from Atlanta to eat there). The next time you are in the area or if you are driving by I-20 near exit 93 and you are in the mood for a burrito or taco, then Bullritos is the place to go.

I love the nachos, I come here 2-3 times a week and it never gets old. The meat is always fresh and perfectly seasoned. Always clean and the service is great!

Fantastic! The food was full a flavor as opposed to the local burrito joints. Simple and quick ordering system. I did not wait long for the food, and the portion wad huge! There weren't chips with the meal, but you don't need it. I am a big eater and I almost could not finish. Done eating? Complimentary ice-cream. If you are looking for a good, hardy, satisfying and flavorful meal this is where you need to be!

This is probably one of my favorite places to go, the food isn't the cheapest but it is with out a doubt the best! I usually come here about 2 times a week. The cheese dip and steak tacos are my favorite. But if you like beans, try the beans, probably the best I've ever had. Plus, you get free ice cream and free drink re-fills!

When you walk in, you're expected to write your order on a paper bag which I thought was weird. I ordered a vegetarian burrito. When I took my first bite, it was lukewarm. They were big though, so if that's all you're looking for in a burrito, definitely go here. Mine tasted okay, not great. I've had better burritos at Chipotle and Urban Burrito. I was most disappointed by how much waste they created. The paper bag that you write your order on, the disposable plates, plastic wear, Styrofoam cups, the tortilla chips are individually wrapped in a plastic bag, and unfortunately, the list goes on. I wouldn't go here again because of their lack of environmentally consciousness alone. Also, the margaritas tasted like chemicals. However, the service was excellent.

For Covington it is really good. I actually like it better than Moe's. Everything is fresh and good. Love the soft serve ice cream machine too.

Yeah, I don't work for Burrito Loco. You only have one review as well Mary J. Which tells me that maybe you, in fact, work for Bullritos.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
