I've been eating at this establishment for just over a decade and have never, if rarely, had a bad experience here. This is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Conyers/Covington area. The food is always delicious, the service is friendly and prompt (even if their English isn't always fluent), and the margaritas are on point. I can't say enough good things about this place, except that I moved up north and wish they had come with me. Yankees don't know a thing about Mexican food.

I love the atmosphere at Los Bravos. The 2nd time my family and I went there, they remembered us from before and it wasn't long before they new our names. Very friendly/family atmosphere. I love the tacos! All of the food I have eaten here is great!

This is not a bad place to go. Just not the best. The service changes and food remains ok. The drinks are good here too. If they are busy you can expect to get bad service and wait. Their is also little space for people to sit when there is a wait and I'd you are sitting up front you have to deal with that when you are trying to eat. The said part is they probably have the better food compared to others in the area.

I've been eating at this restaurant for 5 years now and Los Bravos has yet to disappoint. My favorite menu item is the Carnitas, which are moist, flavorful and plentiful. With many choices for Mexican food in the Conyers/Covington area, put this one at the top of your list.

My father introduced me to this place and I must say it's a nice restaurant. My first impression of this joint was that it was clean and felt Mexican. Food wise on the other hand, I'd have to agree with reviewer Broderick S when he says that it certainly didn't taste authentic Mexican. We ordered a Ceviche Camaron and the Carne Asada tacos (See pictures). The food itself was tasty but certainly didn't satisfy the craving for true mexican food. The serving sizes were generous. Also, we were given tortilla chips and salsa. Prices seemed reasonable to a bit high, and the service was not bad. Tip: If your server seems grumpy, talk to them in Spanish and be kind to them for better service. We enjoyed the experience overall, and will probably be back eventually. Muchas gracias Los Bravos!

Chimichangas are good.. Ask for them extra crispy. Beef and cheese dip are tastey as well.

Excellent Mexican. I work near this restaurant and frequent it often. Their prices are reasonable, and the food is great. I have tried about everything on the menu.

The food was good. I had a burrito. The special margarita is great. I would definitely eat here again.

If you want a good server here just ask for Francisco. Perfect english, perfect server. Food leaves a bit to be desired, atmosphere is loud but friendly. Ive been coming here for about 15 years now and very rarely have I been disappointed.

I don't really have much to say about this place, the server was friendly and limited in his English. Honestly I don't think any of the workers here would be caught dead serving this foodn to their relatives back in Mexico. The nachos came with government food service salsa, the steak was tough and tasteless, my tilapia was horrible. Apparently my family who lives in Conyers says its packed every weekend. It's pretty sad that people think this is actual Mexican food. I think I'd have been more satisfied at Taco Bell

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
