Update. We had to try it again cuz you just can't get a good burger with fresh ingredients anywhere else. Very glad we did. Jalepanos were kicking hot. Small fries serves two and we cleared the bag. Wifey said the grilled mushrooms were great, can u imagine asking for MCD to put mushrooms on Le Big Mac?. We are born again thanks for coming to Columbus 5 Guys

I give the burger at 3.5 out of five. Ordered the little cheeseburger and the little bacon cheeseburger. Mushrooms definitely needed some seasoning, very bland. We've had five guys all over the US unfortunately this burger didn't live up to our expectations. Friendly staff quick service clean atmosphere. Burger was served nice and hot!

I come here almost every weekend. Why? Because it's that darn good. Their burgers are well prepared, big, and filling. Their fries are great...and you get a lot of them. Other things I like about Five Guys: - The giant buckets of ketchup with the large ketchup dishes. None of these bottle cap sized ketchup pails or annoying packets. - The drink machine with literally hundreds of choices. Want a Cherry Vanilla Raspberry Orange Coke? No problem. - Customer service. I once heard a new employee quietly get corrected for not looking me in the eye and smiling when she handed me my food. They are always pleasant. Now, you're going to pay for it. A burger, small fries and a drink will cost you over $11. In my opinion, it's worth it. If you're looking for somewhere light on calories and healthy to eat...better check out Zoe's next door. If you're ok with a ginormous burger and a super large serving of greasy fries, check this place out.

Five Guys is no frills, darn good burgers and fries. The Columbus, GA location is no different--the employees are wonderful and attentive and the food is great. Quality burgers + free toppings + awesome fries = awesome! The restaurant prepares food quickly and well and the Coca Cola make-you-own-soda machine is there too! When I was last there (yesterday, Saturday, August 3), we were the only ones sitting outside while the inside was packed. On two different occasions, Five Guys employees came outside to make sure we were ok and asked if we wanted refills or needed anything else. How awesome is that?

The value, cleanliness and consistency are top-notch for a burger joint. Don't settle and treat yourself to the occasional McDonalds or worse, Burger King, go for the big dog of burgers and fries. This is not something I would recommend every day or week, but if you eat right the rest of the time, this is the place to trey yourself to fries that you know are made with real potatoes, burgers that while not the best I have had, definitely fill you up with fresh toppings. I recommend starting with the 'little bacon cheeseburger all-the-way' and a small fry if you are dining solo. Move up to a regular fry if dining with 2-3. You will get more than your share of fries in the cup plus an additional overflow tray in the bag unless you are a glutton or have no self-control. To eat the fries, lay the bag on its side and tear the long/widest side in a wide 'Y'. This method provides the best way to share without portioning or dumping out and getting cold fries. The cup used for a regular fry is also the water cup. Water is free. There is a Coke machine with twenty-four varieties of beverage. So if you are feeling frisky and want a Coke flavored Hi-C, Lemonade, Powerade, Orange Coke...well, I don't recommend it, it's there. Enjoy.

The only real thing about this place that stands out is the amount of fries you can get. Other then that your paying 2x the price of a burger you can get at McDonald's that has less flavor. It's one of those places you'll visit once or twice a year maybe because you forgot how much it was, but your already there.

I had a hamburger, french fries and drink. The burger tasted fine but nothing spectacular/ The price on the french fries is absurd! Almost $3 for an order of french fries, which tasted good but weren't worth what they were asking. Overall, it is way over priced. Clean environment but not worth what I paid.

Usually when I come to this Five Guys I have a pleasant experience. I don't know what it was about the day that I visited but the cooks and staff were off their game. Not only did they mess my order up, but everyone behind me (4 others) and two people in front of me. I witness more people going back to the counter with something wrong with their order than ever before at any establishment I've visited. I've been to this Five Guys only four times since it's opened and this is the first time I've had a visit where I was disappointed. Even after their attempt to fix my order, they still messed it up. Usually I don't ask to have my orders fixed so after the second attempt I figured it was a lost cause and just cleaned the burger up how I wanted it too be and ate. I will visit this place again but if I experience the same again, it will be my last.

I don't know what it is about 5 Guys burgers, no matter the location, no matter who owns it - they NEVER FAIL to give you a great burger, service and convenience. I love 5 guys, it's like sex for your mouth. i was so glad to see that they finally put one in Columbus and i was there the first day it opened. Apparently i'm not the only one who's in love with these burgers. The patties are always made to order, taste fresh and "grilled outside" feel to them. All the toppings taste fresh and delicious and here at this place they have one of those new soda machines that you can customize what you want to drink. Lots of pretty shiny buttons. Go here for a great lunch or dinner and introduce a new girl/guy to the 5 Guys way of living. OH AND EAT SOME FREE PEANUTS WHILE YOU WAIT!

I don't eat burgers much but when I do I ALWAYS go to Five Guys to make it worth eating the extra calories! Your burger is made fresh with the toppings of your choice and a regular size fry is enough to feed a family of four. :)

Ugh. Yuck! I've been here once. This place has outrageous portion sizes. The burgers are extremely greasy and oversized. The sodium from the French fries could have killed me right then and they couldn't even get my order correct. I mean, I'm sure people like this kind of food, but not me. If you have ever looked at the calories online, you might think twice about eating here.

This was my first time here today. My husband always raves about how good it is and was in the mood for it today, so we went. Theres a lot of parking available for the few shops in this area of the strip mall and we were able to park right in front. When we walked in it was visibly busy and even more so audibly! The place is loud. But its supposed to be highly informal, i gather, judging by the peanuts offered at the door in a help-yourself style from a barrel and all the peanut shells strewn along the restaurant floor. Its nice that you can choose to dine inside or outside too. we dined in but i remember thinking the restaurant felt a little cool for comfort. The guy at the counter was very patient with me ordering, especially with all the fixins available, i could hardly figure out what all i wanted on my burger. I got the little burger, as did my son, but my husband got the regular burger w/2 patties. We ordered 1fry and 1large drink to share. The soda fountain is pretty darn neat with all the varieties of drinks. I actually have never seen or used a fountain like that before. The order of fries was so massive that the 3 of us could share. I was glad to see they have vinegar available, i love it on certain kind of fries and their fries are perfect for it. I actually liked the fries more than i did my burger, is that weird? They were skin-on and looked like a fresh-cut style, you could taste the actual potato. My burger, altho was good and tasted like it was homemade, it tasted like something i could have actually made at home. I didnt think it was seasoned anything special, if at all. The bun didnt taste buttered and/or toasted. But i think what youre paying for is to have the option of making your burger tasty by adding anything from lettuce to grilled onions to hot sauce on it. Overall, i did enjoy my lunch there but it wasnt out of this world for me.

Not my kind of food. Heartburn in a greasy paper bag. Taste good but not worth the pain. If you dont get heartburn check it out though might work out for you.

Their burgers are big and tasty, and can be sloppy if you get all the toppings. They are consistent no matter what restaurant you go to; big tasty burgers. If you get fries, you will get twice as many as any other fast-food restaurant. Their service is fast as well. Use the smart-phone app and you'll never even wait. My favorite part is the soda fountain. The hundreds of choices and flavors make this place more worthwhile.

I had a bacon cheeseburger and it was awesome. The employees there were very nice and made it a good time to be there. I am very impressed by the excellent customer service. This is an outstanding burger place in columbus and is worth the price! Also, there's free peanuts!

I was so disappointed by my first visit to Five Guys in Columbus. I'm a big fan of the chain because their fries fulfill a craving of mine for super-greasy and delicious fries that are similar to the fries they sell on the boardwalk of Ocean City, Maryland. I don't eat meat, but their cheese sandwiches are fine (if not overpriced). I couldn't wait until things calmed down at the new location so I could sate my fry-craving. We finally went to the new store in Columbus at a time when I hoped it wouldn't be too crowded. It was still crowded at 3:30 p.m. There were tons of people working in the kitchen, and it looked chaotic. We waited for 15 minutes for our food (which seemed a little longer than it should take, even for freshly prepared food). After all of that waiting, I was let down when we arrived home and started eating. The fries were KILLED with salt. They were nearly inedible. I almost cried.... I was so disappointed. You have to understand that the only reason my husband and I ever go to Five Guys is because I love their fries. Also, I had ordered a cheese and veggie sandwich with onions, green peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. When I unwrapped my sandwich, I found that it didn't have lettuce, tomatoes, or pickles. Considering that the veggie sandwich costs over $3, it was pretty ridiculous that they didn't even get my order correct.

Great food here! I have to say that I love Five Guys burgers. I would not say these are the best burgers in the world but I love this place. Its like different burger joints. You always have your favorite of course but there is just something a little different about each place that attracts you. It all depends on what you are in the mood for. I love the taste and value you get at this restaurant and the burgers are awesome! This place is still new so it is always packed with lots of customers but they always have a lot of staff to cover down and you can get your food fairly fast. I would recommend this place to anyone for a great time and good food.
