I am a die-hard Five Guys fan. The burgers are the best, with a good selection condiments and toppings. The Fries are fresh, hand-cut and plentiful. Good that they have now introduced the small portion. The best place to have a good decent burger with no frills and fancy. That is how a burger should be. No Frills and No Fancy! The next best things to the burgers and fries are their "free peanuts".

Great customer service!!! Delicious burger... Much better than I thought! The free peanuts while you wait, is an awesome concept... Especially if you're extremely hungry at arrival. Fries were hot & fresh... No alcoholic beverages sold there, but they do have a large variety of Coke products. I mixed the peach lemonade with sweet tea...

I have heard lots about this nationwide burger chain but have never tried it. I understand that the burgers are meant to the large, fresh, clean and totally delicious. Being that I'm not a huge burger fan, I've never been incentivized to go. My family was excited to go, so I went along. We found a parking spot quickly, even though this restaurant shares parking space with a massive Walmart. Massive! This is likely because it was late lunch. The restaurant also was not that busy. The menu is super simplistic. Cheeseburger type and then whatever toppings you like. You can go with the lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, raw onions, BBQ sauce, or an assortment of other things. You order the fries separately. I went with the cheeseburger served with bacon, lettuce and tomato with onion. I also had a little order of fries. I didn't realize the burger was going to be a double-decker! I would've asked for one patty instead. But, overall, everything was absolutely fresh. Very good flavor, very good crunch on the lettuce, very tasty onions. The fries are also extremely fresh. I was pleased with the food. Taking a look around the place, it seemed relatively clean but that it needed a quick wash up soon. I was disappointed to find a couple of tables that had not yet been wiped down, and there were some stains along the floor, likely from earlier diners. Also, while I was very happy to see an outdoor patio, it was full of debris. The wind that day accentuated the amount of accumulated trash.

As many times as I have gone to this Five Guys, I have never had a bad experience. They get my order right every time and without hassle. The burgers are pretty good (though a bit overpriced) and service is never an issue. Parking here can be a problem at times but it's worth it considering an almost guarantee of a decent burger.

There's something to be said about a limited menu and consistently good comes to mind when I'm talking about Five Guys. My wife and I stopped by Five Guys on our way back from plane ride and she wasn't sure how much she would like it. She ended up thinking it was really good. She was happy with the flavor of the burger and the fries. I've always thought it was a little funny that you need at least two people to eat a regular size fry, my wife and I couldn't finish an order this time around. The burgers are always juicy, fresh and delicious.

It's one of the cleaner Five Guys I've been to. The store is made in an awkward fashion with little seating though. The burgers were good, all expected beverages plentiful at the fountain, I mean what more can you ask for? Polite employees to greet you and ready to take your order.

Thank you for making burgers that my kids will actually eat and that you are not McD's. I really appreciate it! I was nervous that I was going to throw them away, which is what usually happens b/c my kids decide that they do not like the "real" burgers. However, they both ate them up and looked cute with the mustard and ketchup all over their faces. I love how you offer a ton of toppings free of charge. They lil cheeseburgers were huge! They pickles you put on them were crisp and easy for my kids to pick up with their fingers and eat which is always their favorite. There was plenty of sauce on the burger buns too. My husband had the regular burger which is 2 burgers and it was huge too! I had the grilled cheese and it was great ! ( I do not eat red meat). I loved the Texas Toast bun and the tomato and pickles on it were crisp and fresh. You guys make the best fries. You know that you do and that is ok. You were not lying about how many fries come in a large. We still have some left over. My kids also love the peanuts that you have. So smart! My daughter said that she wants to go back to the "5 Men store for nuts." Ummm.......... I am not sure what to think about that.

5 guys is a chain, I know. I don't typically eat 'fast' food, but this place is extremely worth it sometimes. They have fries regular or Cajun style (my fav) and they are always the best! The food is freshly made right in front of you from beef balls mashed to paddies, grilled well done and juicy and topped the way you like! I love that A-1 sauce is an option. The hotdogs are very yummy and the bread is so so soft! They butterfly the hotdog so it's fully cooked and a little crispy. I find myself craving 5guys after a solid 2 hr personal training session, personally... Snack on some

This location has good customer service and is very clean. I never have a long wait for my food and the food quality is always good. I am just not a fan of coming home smelling like deep fried grease. That's the price you have to pay for a tasty-artery clogging hamburger with greasy, triple-bypass fries.

This is a solid stop for me when I don't feel like cooking. I get two parties in a bowl with extra veggies... I mean all veggies... Mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, lettuce... Everything. I always get it with mustard hot sauce and bacon. Prefect post workout meal that's cheap, fast and delicious.

Awesome food and free peanuts. The bad is they were out of pickles and the wait was extremely long for not having any customers or orders. The place was very clean and would come back.

I love how they make the burgers here, you can see the manager is a hard worker because he is always helping out his staff and teaching them new things. The burgers come out great and full of juice. The fries are classical and the large is truly a LARGE. I am a fan and I highly recommend it .

I've been recently on a good burger craving and have always been visiting once a week for the past few months. I'm a fan! This is the closest location to me and I love this location because they always make my burger just right. I love that I can snack on peanuts while waiting for my order. They have a large box that you get the peanuts from and there's not really a limit to how much you can get. What I always order is the bacon cheeseburger that comes with two burger patties, crisp bacon, and Americas cheese. My toppings are always: raw onions, grilled mushroom, A1 sauce, hot sauce, and sometimes jalapeños. These toppings are free as well as a long list of them on the menu. SWEET! Make use of it! The staff is nice and they always bring the food out to the customers' table instead of having us walk up to pick it up. My only complaint about Five Guys is that their fries are so greasy that they aren't even "fried" or crisp so I just don't even bother ordering them. If you don't believe me, look at the brown bag when you get your order of fries. The oil stain is so huge. Make sure you hold it by the bottom or else your bag will rip! I am a regular customer here and will continue to be. The burgers here are on my monthly cravings' list. I haven't gotten a chance to try their hot dogs and this veggie burger that I see from the other reviews. I'll try them eventually. Just writing this review is making me crave my juicy burger and it's making me drool! I just had this last night...haha

Twice now I've driven 15 minutes to come to this location and I say no ketchup and each time I get home not only does it have ketchup but its covered in ketchup . Why ask and even put it on the receipt with what was requested if you can't get it right?

Love Five Guys but this location in Chamblee needs work. Beverage machine on the left seldom works, staff is pretty meh about it. No "Out of Order" sign and no mention of this problem when you are checking out and have your heart set on a cold Coke Zero.

Oh my greasy goodness. I love these burgers. They are handmade greasy uneven lumps of cow goodies. Step 1: Order at the register. There is a huge list of toppings you can add from onions, to sauces, to jalapenos. Step 2: Wait for the order to be up. Step 3: Go into a beast like mode and devour the heavenly patties. One order of fries is HUGE. They come in a brown paper bag that you tear open on the table. You can share it with 2 or 3 people. There are bottles of malt vinegar next to the ketchup on the condiment table. I personally have no idea what they are intended for, but I just mix it with my ketchup for a sweet and tart fry dip. This place offers fountain drinks/Coca Cola products. Including root bear (my fav) The seating is standard, 4 tops, no cushion on the seats. I don't recall there being booths. The decor is bare save for some articles on the wall depicting how awesome everyone thinks their burgers are, and rightly so. Fun Fact: Want to know why they are called 5 guys? The owner started this business with his 4 sons, and today, there are always 5 guys on duty at all times. They have free shelled peanuts! They use peanut oil. The potatoes are flown in from different states. A sign will always tell you where the current fries being served were flown in from. Note: I shouldn't have to tell you this. But this stuff isn't healthy. Don't come here for health, come here for happiness. Wear: A graphic tee and ripped jeans.

Everyone always harps on Five Guys and I might be the only one in the world that's not overly impressed. The burgers are just too greasy for me. I will say that the fries are pretty great though. Sorry Five Guys ...but everyone loves you despite what I say so it's all good

Guy just dropped a slotted spoon on the floor. Picked it up and ran under water in the hand sink. Then wiped it off n put it back in the food. Nice!

Came here for lunch the other day and left completely satisfied, not just with the food but also with the service. This was not my first visit, so I know the staff isn't always as friendly as it was on this particular occasion. But it deserves noting that my burger was delivered to my table with a great big smile, and others received the same welcoming smile with their food. Now on to the burgers. The thing I love about Five Guys is how the array of free toppings are plastered right on the overhead menu so you don't have to worry about forgetting anything you want to add to your savory burger. The burgers are some of the juiciest mega-sized mouth-watering burgers I've had in recent memory. I highly recommend ditching the ketchup and going with the BBQ sauce. You won't regret it. Though the price is a bit high, you can help yourselves to complimentary peanuts while you wait. All this place needs now is to add some really good milkshakes to the menu.

It's five guys! What's not to like? Good food, nice employees. Terrible parking lot (next to the worst walmart in history)

We don't usually visit fast or near-fast food joints, but we wanted a burger, this one was close and their ads tout the best burgers around. In this instance, two out of three isn't good. It's all about the meat. And this burger meat is far from high quality (forget grass-fed!) and served as a rather greasy heap with fixings. We can't think of anything that matters more in a restaurant that heavily advertises its burgers than the taste of the meat, and they failed our test. The fries unfortunately proved almost as greasy and turned soggy pretty quickly. The prices, for the quality of the food, are higher than they should be. While the servers were friendly, we left very disappointed, agreeing we came in with expectations set far too high.

This FG location is near the house, and easy to get to. Falls in line with all the other locations I've been to, which makes me happy to know that there is a consistency across the chain city-wide with quality. Only thing that bothers me about this place is their parking spaces are way too narrow for the area, and anyone with a large SUV or sedan is going to be squeezing in/out of their vehicles if they park directly in front of the doors. They also had a drip in the ceiling near the front door, not sure if it was an AC condenser overflow line that was faulted, or a leak in the roof. Kinda irritating even though it is avoidable... Beside that, the place is kept clean and neat.

Omg, YESSSS!!!!! That is the only way to describe this heavenly place called Five Guys. The only burger that can make Chuck Norris tear up and weak in the knees. Every bite is pure greasy satisfaction. Ordering any burger off of the Five Guys menu make you a winner. It does cost more than your average burger but it is totally worth it.

I'm going out on this one, I usually would not give a semi-fast food joint more than 3 stars. But These 5 guys got it together! Greasy, Sloppy, real cheese and lots of it, great soft bun. Loved it! Fries were exceptionally good. A little pricey, do not like the interior and to noisy. Great for a really good burger and fries when nothing else will do!

I am from Los Angles and my standard for good fast fast food is In n Out. My friend has high regards for this place and took his word for it. Anyway, we spent $22 for 2 burgers, large fries and two sodas. Twice the price of my trusty In n Out burger. The burgers are flavorless and very greasy, - possibly the cheapest ground beef money could buy. The combination of ice cold soda and grease = lip balm around my lips. Needless to say, I did not finish it. To make matters worse, one of staff did his rounds asking everyone how the food was. I gave him my honest opinion that the burger is greasy. He replied, "it's a hamburger", turned his back on me and walked away. Charmed. No sorry, no we'll try better next time and no nothing. If Five Guys do not wish to hear the truth, why bother ask how their food taste? Not coming back. I miss In n Out burgers in Los Angeles.

Had my first and last Five Guys experience. Burger, fries, and a drink were 11 bucks. Was it good? Yes. Was it worth 11 bucks? No.

My first visit to Five Guys. I'd never even heard of the chain. I'm not generally a big fan of either chains, burgers or fast food, but tonight we had a craving. The burgers were fresh. I chose a "little" cheeseburger. Toppings are free, so I indulged myself with grilled onions, mushrooms, jalapenos and A-1 sauce. It was still no gourmet burger, but the price was right. Five guys is just a bit more expensive than fast food, but much, much better quality. We shared some of the hand cut fries, today from Rexburg, ID. Very tasty! I'd like to see them upgrade the bun, which was the typical squishy, backyard barbecue model. This location offered a comfortable place to sit outside on the patio, making it a pleasant place to grab a quick bite and not break the bank. Nice job 5 Guys!

I love coming here but it just seems difficult to pay 21 bucks for two burgers, one order fries and two drinks. Now granted, there were enough fries to feed an army. I agree with the greasy burger post. It's good but not the best place in the world.

Tres estrellas. I was actually somewhat disappointed with my first Five Guys experience. It was GOOD, but there was no mouth orgasm as I was expecting - especially since I was CRAVING a burger when I went. The service was great, so that wasn't an issue. And they got my burger exactly right. However, it wasn't very flavorful, and it was really big and greasy, yet the meat was dry. Odd combo. I also got the cajun fries (go big or go home, right?), and they were ok. They had a nice texture, I just didn't much care for the taste. And I think "Five Guys Style" fries would have been even less impressive, because they're just plain. I MUCH prefer Grindhouse Killer Burgers, but their hours suck. But honestly, I don't see myself returning to Five Guys anytime soon, even when Grindhouse is closed. I think I'd rather continue to forge my way through the plethora of burger establishments in Atlanta to see if I can find the ultimate burg-asm.

how did they get such a high review ? you get a lot of food, but the quality is very low. The hamburger falls apart on the bun & lacks flavor, while the bun disintegrates in your hands, The fries are soggy & greasy which becomes apparent when you receive the food bag & becomes grease stained within a few minutes of receiving your food. when opening the food bag, you see a pile of fries overflowing its container & covering the wrapped hamburger - the only way to get to the hamburger is to tear the bag open to get past the plethora of fries. i give this restaurant 1 star & never to be visited again

What a RIPOFF!! $9 for a burger, fries and drink? You've got to be kidding me. I don't know why this place is even considered in the same bracket as In N Out. It lacks flavor, the fries are awful and it's beyond overpriced. Five Guys sucks!!

I've been hearing Five Guys famous burgers, so I decided to give it a try. This one is located in the new Wal-Mart plaza between Buford Hwy. and Peachtree Pkwy. When you walk in, it reminds me of Cheeseburger Bobby's. It's got the 50's feel with the white and red checkers design around the restaurant. Around the restaurant, there's open peanut bags for you to nibble on as you wait for your burger. As for the burger, not as good as Cheeseburger Bobby's. You don't get to dress your burger, but they're right about the meat never been frozen. They didn't ask how I want my burger (so I dropped the rating a tad bit). And they're very generous about loading up your cup with fresh cut fries. Though fresh, but not tasty. Overall, I've had much better experience with burgers.

Had my first experience at Five Guys today, I know I'm a little behind on the times but hey! at least I gave it a shot! Okay so Five Guys has a undeniable reputation already, so I know what I have to say isn't really going to do much to it but....IT'S GREAT! You walk in and you feel a sort of "soup-nazi" from Seinfeld vibe at first because all the workers are frantically making food and the guys at the register are talking a mile a minute and trying to get everyone taken care of quickly. It's somewhat intimidating and I almost wasn't able to order fries because of the chaos. Luckily, it's not a hostile place so I was able to get what I wanted and I felt taken care of at the same time. The food was great, well prepared and with the exact toppings I requested (toppings which were FREE). AND THE FRIES!! my goodness they give you like a pound of fries with each burger, it's nuts, but I'm a big fan of having more food than you need than not enough so it was perfect. Their sweet tea was very much on point and they even had people walking around checking to make sure you were satisfied and sufficiently taken care of. Four stars for this Five Guys because overall this place surprised me at how good the food was but also how modern and exciting the atmosphere was. I highly recommend this particular store but also all others because judging on the little research I've done people freaking LOVE this place. Check it out for lunch or if you need a quick dinner! ***BONUS FREE ALL YOU CAN EAT PEANUTS***

If you are like me and do not like most fast good burger chains that you can find everywhere (ie. Mcdonalds, Burger King, etc) then Five Guys should be your next stop when you want a burger. For starters, REAL meat and potatoes (fries).....have no idea why some places skip this basic concept. Each meal is cooked to order and not waiting on you as you walk in the door, so you know your food is just made. You can get almost anything you want on a burger from jalapenos to grilled onions also. I think what totally won me over is their fries. They are freshly cut from real potatoes and they give you plenty. An order of their fries can be split easily between three adults! (not that I share because they are very good) Unlike an "extra value meal" at other places that have you hungry again in an hour or stomach hurting from not eating real food, Five Guys is definitely the place to stop in if you are in the mood for burgers and fries.

I first heard about Five Guys when I was living in New York. Everyone at work used to go to a small place tucked down some back hallway of a nice hotel that they would call "The Burger Joint" (not sure if that was the real name or if it even had a real name. They had a small neon sign with a picture of a burger on it.). One day the new craze was "Five Guys". I assumed a place similar to The Burger Joint, run by, well, five guys! I kept meaning to go before I moved back, but somehow never made it. After I got back, I had a few friends tell me how great Five Guys is and I was happy to know I could give it a try down south. The menu is pretty simple: four burger options in two sizes and a few hot dog options. Toppings include the standards plus things such as jalapeños, green peppers, A-1 and hot sauce. I decided to get the bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, onion, green peppers and A-1. The regular size has two patties, so i can only assume the "little" size has one. This is probably the best burger I've had from a nation-wide restaurant. They pride themselves on always having fresh ground beef and fresh cut potatoes that are never frozen. It was packed full of flavor and grease and was messy and just amazing. It may not look like much in the picture, but I can assure you that you'll love it. 5 Guys is good. Decent fast food burgers, decent fries. It is much better than any other fast food burger places. If you go there with the right expectations, you should leave satisfied. If you go there expecting a high quality burgers or something mindblowing, you will be disappointed. The concept is simple, but well executed. It is good for what it is. 3

Was shopping at wallmart today and across the street I see the sign! My friends have been telling me about this place for a long time and finally decided to try it out. I walked in just before noon and it was not too busy. I whent with the cheeseburger with grilled onions, ketchup and pickles. The first bite was incredibly juicy, which makes me happy since, like all other franchises alike, only serve there burgers well done. I am deffinetely a fan of this place, the next time i need a quick burger fix Im heading to five guys. Oh ya, as I was ordering my friendly cashier told me that he liked my hat, I was wearing an Atlanta Falcons hat, then he suggested I have the guy in the back corner sign it. The guy was indeed Falcons old head coach, Dan Reeves!

Delicious! Simple menu and no charge for all the extras (except cheese). The fries arrive in a container with more than the average family can eat. They taste like potatoes! Imagine that. So yummy! When we want a quick, tasty burger this is the place we go.

There must be a gazillion of these Five Guys joints in and around Atlanta. I've got my burger fix filled at this one a few times and have to say they make a pretty decent burger. Messy, sloppy, tasty. Just what the doctor ordered. The fresh cut fries are pretty good too. I got a kick out of the fact that one time they had the origin of their potatos written on a white board where you order -- on this particular day the taters were from Rigby, ID. I grew up in the tater state and my folks were visiting at the time. My dad got a hoot out of the Rigby reference as that's where he was born. You go, Idaho potatos!
