I love Greek food. I was so glad when Spyro Gyro reopened in Carrollton, since I could finally satisfy my craving for gyros or spanakopita, and while I was enthused the first few times I went there, the quality of the food seemed to decline with subsequent visits. Now I hear that Spyro Gyro is closing, and I'm somewhat saddened but not surprised, since I don't think there was enough of a market for (OK) Greek food in Carrollton to justify its large interior. Greek Corner recently opened up so I had to give it a try. First I tried the gyro platter, as take out-- the gyro meat, tzatziki sauce, and fries were great, but the salad accompanying it in the styrofoam container had gotten warm, limp, and a little oily. In fairness, this might have been remedied had I eaten in. Next time I got the chicken souvlaki-- the marinated meat was tender and tasty. The last time I went in I got a simple gyro wrap; the chef/owner was very friendly and the wrap itself--pita, meat, lettuce, tzatziki--was delicious and filling. I really hope Greek Corner sticks around, and if they do, I hope they fix some problems on the menu-- "souvlaki" is spelled a few different ways on there, as it "tzatziki" and this could cause some confusion for those unfamiliar with the food.

They brought lunch to my store, just to let us know that they are here in Carrollton and was so delicious! The gyro was absolutely amazing. I can't wait to eat their food again!

Great place for Greek or Italian. Had the gyro and found it to be quite good! Will definitely be back. Good for the whole family. Simple, no frills but very friendly place to have a bite.

When we walked in, it was way too cold inside so me and my boyfriend sat outside on the wooden patio table, where the tabletop was dirty and the seats were not comfortable. However, as the sun went down, they took out a kareoke machine and a few kids started dancing, which was nice ambiance. While the Waitress was great, gave us refills several times and was very nice, I have to take off a couple of stars for cleanliness and the fact that our food took way too long to come out. Other than that, you get what you pay for; Greek food, not fresh but decent price.
