Mizu Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

We came for hibachi, because the kids love it and it was a special night. The chef was entertaining, and included the fire explosions and onion volcano. We have 5 kids, so we just ordered 4 adult meals and split it all. The resturant was fine with splitting, and gave us and extra free ice cream for the 5th child and I thought that was nice. If you order steak, get the filet; trust me. We ordered our steak rare, because cooking steak cut up on a hibachi over cooks it so it was perfect. A little pricey, but worth it for a special night. Misa soup was great.

We dine in and order take out from Mizu's on a regular basis. Their food is always great and service is very good too. We especially love the sushi!

I must say....it is so so so very nice to have a decent sushi place within 5 minutes from my house. I wish hickory flat had more restaurants like this one within the area. I can't speak for the hibachi food, as I am more of a sushi eater. This place doesn't have the BEST sushi ever but it's pretty decent. The staff is pretty nice and the service is great (especially when you sit @ the bar). Love the dollar sushi nights but I wish they would expand the sushi menu a little bit. My most favorite thing however, is that they deliver to my house! Now I can eat sushi in my pajamas! Can't go wrong with that!

Hibachi filet & shrimp were GREAT. My son had a steak and it was very tasty too. Coconut soup is huge, I had to take more than half of it home. I will be ordering hibachi or Nigiri instead of sushi next time; sushi were just OK. Their fried rice is also just OK.

Not sure what the heck happened but my last 4 meals here have been awful. Everything somehow changed here as far as the food is concerned. Not sure what happened but the food has gone downhill. Sad because they have nice service and the owners seem nice. Hope they can improve the food to its former tastiness.

This place is really close to where we live, and when we moved into our house we decided to have their food delivered. I saw the curries and went with masaman beef, which was great. My wife ordered the Hunan chicken, which was subpar even for strip mall Chinese food, but I did not expect much better on that note. Living in China for four years turned me into a Chinese food snob, and even on the incredibly rare occasion that I want American Chinese food I rarely can be satisfied then either. So, that's why I'm harsh on Chinese food, because I want real dishes. Thankfully the curry dishes will be the salvation this restaurant needs for us, as is the fact that they deliver. Since our other options are fast food or Mexican, I'm rating highly to try to generate buzz and keep it going to keep our options open!

Not bad, we've been here 4 or 5 times over the past 5 years, always Hibachi. Food and service have always been good. During our most recent trip for lunch last week I noticed that the interior is starting to show some age and wear. I think its time for a thorough cleaning from top to bottom, some new carpet and a restroom refresh. On this most recent trip our Hibachi chef was pleasant enough, but the man who greeted us at the door (manager?) looked miserable. Final verdict: if you're in the area its not a bad choice. However for a special occasion I'd make the drive to someplace else.

Let's just say we are not starting out in the right foot. Waiter came to take our order. He noticed another table had come in. Couldn't focus on my order and the fact that it took me less than 10 seconds to ask my daughter if she wanted 2 California Rolls or 1. Seriously. It took him 5 minutes to come back to us. Soup has arrived. Won Ton soup is good. Nothing special, but acceptable. Miso soup is good. Green Curry with Chicken - was good. I'm not eating onions, potatoes (which I've never seen with green curry before) and carrots. I modified it to zucchini, mushrooms and bell peppers. It came sans zucchini and with broccoli instead. Okay. Thanks for listening. Not. The spice was delicious. Pad See Ew - this is my daughter's perspective. It was good, enough to eat. Let me help you read between the lines. She tolerated it. ** a footnote, my children eat an eclectic diet; octopus included, eel, thai, Italian, etc... She is very opinionated and quick to tell me what she thinks of the places we choose to spend our money at for any number of meals. California Rolls - these are so hard to mess up. I don't know how they were. I didn't try them. But, my other daughter said they were as good as the last restaurant she ordered them for dinner. Service - abysmal. I'm sorry to be so blunt, yet I'm not. I have to say that if food is fantastic, but service is horrible, you likely won't see me back again. To say our waiter was inattentive would be a gross understatement. We were an interruption to his "busy" day. We were in there probably 20 minutes longer than we would have liked because of all the waiting we had to do. And, then I got to box my own items. Well, most of them. He finally assisted.

Food is good . Price is good for lunch entrees and the hibachi is pretty yummy too .I would suggest going in and picking up your order though they do deliver the food doesn't seem to sit well in the bag .

We have been regulars for the last few years but probably have a different experience than most. I am stuck at home due to health reasons and Mizu delivers! Their sushi is surprisingly good, given we are somewhat in the country. We were surprised at the quality. They usually deliver quickly and the pricing is fair. We have had hibachi delivered on occasion. We have eaten there a few times and since we order so much, we are glad to see who we speak to on the phone so often. Tracy always takes care of us and is really nice on the phone and when we see her. They do have a coupon on their takeout menus sometimes. I recommend their premium rolls, and they taste great delivered. We have ordered Mizu probably at least 75 times and only ever had one forgotten item (which they remedied immediately.)

Torn between 3 and 4 do I rounded up because the food was pretty good and so was the presentation. The food came out quickly and I was pleasantly surprised at how spicy it was. The order of edamame was gigantic and seasoned perfectly. We enjoyed the whole experience overall. On the negative the hot tea was flavorless and my crab ragoon was virtually empty. I would come back.

My first encounter with Mizu was when it first opened, I had gotten the fried tofu appetizer and the Honey chicken. It was fabulous! If you are looking for fresh food and large portions then defiantly go to Mizu. I have eaten there almost 5 times a month since then. Also what this site does not say is, THEY DELIVER! Amazing right? I tried their hibachi a month after my first dining there and it was awesome, the veggies were crisp and yummy, and the Fillet Mignon (I asked for rare of course) was tender and parred well with each of their sauces. If you like sushi defiantly go, they have this thing called a bakery roll that has cream cheese and is then dipped in a tempura batter and fried. Mmmmm so good. (they have dollar sushi on Mons and Tues) I love Mizu, the food is excellent and the service is friendly!

I go here pretty often, It's really great food. I usually go to Ru sans in Kennesaw for the price, but MIZU's taste is amazing. I love sushi. Def happy to see more people taking part in the Mizu Menu. Pricing can be expensive but come on, it's sushi. Almost everywhere you go these days is expensive, unless you're on the Mcdonalds diet.

After reading the great reviews, we decided to try Mizu with our restaurant.com gift certificate. 1. We were seated in the back hibachi table next to co2 tanks and a wait cart. There were literally 8 in. of clearance to get by my husband's seat...he had to constantly move his seat forward. 2. It was 82 degrees in there. My hair was wet. It made it highly uncomfortable. 3. Only beer and wine. 4. Miso soup- no flavor. 5. The chef was fun but our "show" lasted about 8 minutes. Volcano was 3 rings high...pathetic and rice was thrown into our mouths instead of shrimp pieces. The chef had some clown water squirter that was squirted in my face twice. 6. Food quality was good. Bill was $85 - 2 combo dinners, a kids dinner, glass of wine, sake and 2 beers. Not fun.

The Web site stinks. The food, however, is incredible. Although this is touted as a Japanese restaurant, and you have the choice of sushi bar, regular sit-down tables, or hibachi tables, the menu includes familiar Japanese, Thai, and Chinese standbys. We started with an appetizer of crab rangoon and Thai spring rolls. The crab rangoon wrapper was nice and thin and crispy, not the doughy wonton wrapper you find in other places. It was loaded with the cream cheese mixture and, thank heavens, it was not overly sweet. Definitely made by hand. The Thai spring rolls were thin, crispy, and filled with vegetables and translucent noodles. Yum. For the main course, I chose a maki selection: spicy tuna roll, spider roll, and dragon tiger roll. Fantastic rolls, as good as Nikimotos, but waa-aaaa-y OTP. My wife wanted to stick on the Thai theme and chose the Panang curry with chicken. Hot, creamy, filled with more chicken and vegetables than she could possible eat. We'll continue going back to try the rest of the menu, but our initial impression was incredibly favorable.

We first started going to Mizu shortly after they opened. At first they offered a $1 sushi menu several days of the week - but that quickly shrank to Mondays and Tuesdays only. For us OTP folks - it was a great find! REALLY good sushi - great service (we sort of have our own table there now) and a diverse menu. It wasn't long before we stopped going there on weekends entirely because they had become too crowded! If you go soon, the 2012 roll on the specials menu is swell. And their $1 sushi menu portions on the nigiri are not nearly as microscopic as many sushi restaurants tend to do on $1 nights. They also do orders to go. So if you're anywhere near Hickory Flat / 140, or are closer to Roswell / Crabapple and are feeling adventurous - give them a try!

Hibachi grill restaurant. Expensive. The performers are lackluster and do not show enthusiasm. The sushi bar is small and generally unattended. Most people go here for hibachi. Note to Americans: Japanese Hibachi isn't something you see in Japan. It's a gimmick you find here. Japanese don't eat fried rice, and you won't find any Japanese in this restaurant. Atmosphere is noisy and place is poorly decorated. Service is not that great.

Weak sauces. Watered down soup. But very friendly service, steak was good, and the kids ate free. Good value but not the best Japanese in town.

After researching several Japanese restaurants because it seems the one we'd been going to had closed, I decided on trying this one. We went here for my MIL's 60th birthday party as she had never been to Hibachi and had expressed an interest in trying it before. I went early in the day and dropped off a cake which when they served it, had put it on a beautiful platter with decorative cucumber peels. Beautiful! We had a restaurant.com gift certificate which we had no problems utilizing. The food was delicious and our chef was fun and amusing. Average prices for HIbachi grill, no more expensive than any others. He even served her a "birthday" rice with a candle on top. My kids love watching the cook and he even played with them while cooking. The service was excellent. It wasn't very crowded when we went but we were there early, too. If you bring kids and they look to be around 10 or older the server will ask them their age if ordering off the kids menu so plan on that. When I explained my 11 year old eats like a bird, they did let her order off the kids menu but I wouldn't plan on it. It's the first place that I've been to that's ever asked. We would definitely go back though!

The hibachi grill is better experience than the sushi. I asked for simple California roll and it was mushy and warm. When I asked for it to be made fresh they simply told me it was and put the plate back in front of me and walked away. When she returned I told her to take it off my bill and I wasn't paying for it. She said she would. Of course went to pay and she didn't had to wait for her to come by and do it. The waitress was nice, but she also commented to me, that they don't always make their sushi fresh.Oh well, like I said the hibachi experience is OK, no thrills or frills.

My husband and I just spent $45.00 on sushi and it was barely adequate. I would not reccommend it if you have any knowledge of sushi other than a California roll. It is too bad because the service was good and the restaurant is quite nice inside but we will not be eating there again.
