I love Panera Bread! There I said it.... Yes it's a chain blah blah blah but I have never had a bad experience with the food or service at any location. . I have not gone through the drive through so I can't comment on that. If I'm correct, this location in particular opened up just in time for the holidays 2014 and it seems that it has been a hit ever since as it is always packed. It's in a convenient shopping center for me since I live at HomeGoods/ Nordstrom and hey the mall of Ga! Their service is consistently good, employees are helpful and appear happy. Restaurant itself is clean and there is a lot of seating including a private conference room. It's easy to order off their menu and it's nice that it tells you the calories right beside each entree. I love their green tea and when I order it I make sure I let them know to put little ice because this drink does not have refills and the first time I ordered this I was disappointed because it was FILLED with ice. In that instance, I discovered their tropical hibiscus tea which you can refill as many times as you'd like and it's beside the soda machine along with other teas. The hibiscus tea has 0 calories and it's hard to believe because it's actually pretty sweet! I never really have their sandwiches or paninis; I tend to stick to soup and/or salad and instead of the baguette, I get their chips (usually for a snack later on in the day). My food has always been good and they always have new things on their menu. Oh, call me crazy but I always ask for plastic silverware. They will give it to you when you pick up your food at the counter. So there you go, my opinion on Panera Bread/ Panera Bread in Buford.

Love panera in general, but this specific location fell way below expectations. Stopped by to pick up dinner. I thought it was closed because no one was at the register. After waiting and walking around, finally got the attention of a busboy. Everything I wanted, they didn't have. And then to top it off, I came home to find out they got my order wrong.

Stopped by for breakfast and service was great. Our order was taken by a friendly cashier our order was correct and we only waited about 5 minutes for it. The dining area was clean as were the restrooms, which in my book is a big deal! Ordered the asiago, bacon, egg and cheese bagel and it was very good. The coffee was fresh and very hot! Will definitely return with friends.

I don't understand the poor reviews because I have not had a bad experience here. The servers were always nice and courtious. The food taste like it should be. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. I usually order the soba noodles and Mac and cheese for the baby.

I think people really need to know about how unsanitary this location is. I'm a panera addict. Absolutely love it.... But I'm not sure if I'll ever eat here again after this experience. I ordered the pick two combo and ordered mac & cheese and the sierra turkey with avocado (which I know is $1 extra, and normally I get 3 nice sized slices of avocado). The first go round, I received my sandwich with no avocado and I sent it back. The second time, I received it with a small piece of avocado and disgusting BROWN lettuce. Absolutely horrifying. I spoke with a manager and she explained for some reason that I only get a tiny piece of avocado for $1 (never gotten this at any other restaurant, like I stated earlier, I usually get a few nice sized slices) and agreed the lettuce was disgusting and would remake my sandwich. I sat down and waited about ten-ish minutes for my new sandwich. I was about to eat it when my friend I was with noticed the avocado was BROWN..... and looked like it was old and moldy. At this point, I didn't bother telling the manager because obviously they don't care about customer service or what they serve loyal customers. I didn't eat this sandwich as it was completely repulsive. This is seriously disgusting and unacceptable. If you aren't realizing what you are putting together for customers or if the food is old, there's a problem. Is this food expired? Are they prepping this food and not realizing when to get rid of it? I'm so, so disgusted with my visit to the Buford Panera. I cannot believe I paid $10 for a moldy meal, half of which I didn't eat. I really thought Panera cared about their customers..... The Buford location quickly proved otherwise.

Gross! I usually eat at Atlanta Bread Company which is in the same comes but decided up change it up and try Panera. I ordered the "Bacon Turkey Bravo" and was highly disappointed especially for how expensive it was ($8) and how low quality the ingredients were! The turkey was extremely salty and the kind that comes pre-sliced... The bacon was cold & pre-cooked... Nothing about it was fresh or cooked with love or pride. I will NOT be returning to ANY Panera's ever. Stick with ATL Bread Co if you have the choice!

People should not go into this panera expecting the usual great panera food or great panera service. I have given them 3 opportunities at the drive through and have been disappointed twice. I called the manager and was told to come in with my name and they would replace my sandwich. I came in and was told that it is not their policy and I needed the name of the manager I spoke with or the receipt. I was told that too many people are fake customers and that they had replaced my sandwhich already. Basically argued. What happened to serving the customer. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this panera.
