The food is alright, but the place is too loud and too crowded. There's never a place to sit, and the place is way too cramped. To top it all off, the ice machine is never working.

The food at chipotle is 5 stars every time. But at this location specifically, the wait standing in line is ridiculous. I waited in a line of about 30 people for half an hour before even getting my food. Don't come here unless you have an hour to spare or better yet, use the app to pre order and get it to go.

I wish I could give it a zero review, I love chipotle but this location sucks. Greasy meat, bad salsa, bad employees, bad manager. Everyone please go to chipotle...just not this one.

I cannot stress how much I love Chipotle. The flavor of the steak is amazing. The lime-cilantro rice goes great with the steak and the vegetables are fresh and taste great. I used to think it was the more expensive of the burrito shops however the Moe's nearby has recently raised their prices making them about the same as Chipotle. And I think Chipotle is MUCH better.

Been here 2x with the wife over the past 6 six weeks. The food is fresh, the prices reasonable and the Guac is great. Overall, I would recommend to anyone looking for fresh Mexican food. We both ate for $18 including drinks. Not the cheapest but not bad when comparing other fast food places. I use the term "fast food" even though it is not really.....not like McDonalds or Taco Bell but it is quick serve. We both got bowls with beef, rice, corn, salsa, guac and sourcream. We split a drink...all for $18.

If you know me, you know that I hate cilantro but I absolutely LOVE Chipotle. Most people probably think that doesn't make sense because Mexican food often contains cilantro. However, my beloved steak burrito at Chipotle is delicious and doesn't contain a trace of the nasty green stuff! I can't believe I haven't reviewed this Chipotle yet! It's the one located close to the Mall of Georgia in the same building as Tutti Frutti, and it's probably the one that I had eaten at most often in Georgia while I was living in Buford. Its close proximity to the Mall of Georgia makes it pretty busy most times of the day. However, I haven't ever had to to wait an unreasonable amount of time in line. The employees have been generally friendly, the line moves fairly quickly, and the restaurant is usually pretty clean. My perfect Chipotle Steak Burrito is made of plain white rice (which you can always request at any Chipotle if you're a cilantro hater like me), pinto beans, red-chili salsa, cheese, sour cream, lettuce, and - of course - juicy and flavorful cubes of steak wrapped up in a warm, flour tortilla. Although the red-chili salsa is really spicy and sometimes gives me heartburn, it's the only salsa they have that doesn't contain cilantro. I usually try to ask for "just a little" red-chili salsa so that my stomach doesn't hate me later. I also must have a bottle of Tabasco Chipotle Pepper Sauce while I'm eating my steak burrito. Each bite gets a couple drops of the delicious, smoky sauce. I highly recommend you try it if you haven't already! Overall, this Chipotle gets 4.5 stars for their good service and great burritos. Yes, Chipotle's burritos cost $7+ with tax, but they are totally worth it. Although I don't live close by anymore, I'm sure I will return on occasion when I'm shopping at the Mall of Georgia and don't want any of their food court options. [Review 181 of 366]

Kinda disappointed. They were not prepared . I asked for avocado in my burrito bowl and found the skin of the avocado in my bowl. They need to be more meticulous when preparing other people's food

Pulled a high chair for my 1 year old had to drag it to my seat while carrying my kid no one offered to help. Once I got to my table I realized the chair was missing multiple screws and wobbled side to side . When I mentioned to the woman sweeping the floor right next to me that the chair was missing multiple screws and was a hazzard to children that it should be removed from the floor for safety reasons she rolled her eyes and said no you can use it and proceeded to sweep. I walked back to where they had the other 2 chairs grabbed another and went back to my table when I put my one year old in I realized the chair straps were missing a buckle and couldn't safely secure my son in the chair so I could enjoy my meal. My son later wiggled down and got stuck between the chair and the front bar and cried histerically while I attempted to get his out unharmed. This is why the buckle is important folks! Definitely will be skipping chipotle and heading to chik fil a where customers ARE valued and someone is always ready to lend a helping hand. The culture at Chipotle is that of working robots, no friendly faces, no customer care . Just a line of detached humans rushing your plate down a table. Too bad because the only time the food disappoints is when I don't get enough :/

I haven't eaten at a Chipotle in a while. It was not as good as I remember though. It's not that the food is bad, it just didn't particularly fit my taste. Queso would have been a good addition I think. Very crowded which is to be expected at lunch time but there's not enough seating for the demand. If you're looking for somewhere quiet this is not the place for you, very loud since there were so many people.

This place seems like it's always busy. I guess it's no surprise since it's near the Mall of Georgia. But like these types of establishments, the line seems to move along fairly quickly. The seats empty fairly quickly as well so no worries there. If you've never tried Chipotle before, then brace yourself since the burritos are huge! I usually plan on ordering mine as a to-go so I can snack on it later. lol. I believe the burritos will give you the most amount of food, the other items just seem like there's less meat (i.e. burrito bowl). Oh, you can also order quesadillas too even though it's not on the menu. It's part of the "secret" menu or something like that (as was told to me). :) The service here is decent, nothing too wowing on either side of the good or bad spectrum.

This is the WORST taco chain EVER! The meat is luke warm. I know what is named and hate the chipotle taste, but I didn't expect to eat a chipotle pepper with ever bite! But I figured I'd give it a try... Worst meal I've had...I'd eat Taco Bell before I return here. Besides the chipotle steak, the chicken had zero taste besides grill char. The guacamole was just avocado- bland. The tacos had a limited and unimaginative choice of toppings. Even the "sweet tea" was a catastrophic disappointment. The restaurant was filthy at about 3pm on a Sunday. Even my taco loving kid couldn't stomach more than a bite or two.

I LOVE CHIPOTLE! and I come to this one a lot... or I try to. This place can get REALLY busy even on weekdays! So if I see the line pass the drinks, I decide to eat some where else. Which happened to me a couple times. The place is pretty small and so the seating is very limited too. If you eat outside some bees might attack you! Harmless or not... I don't like bugs all up in my face. But overall the food is consistent with the other chipotles. One time I ate here though and my chicken was still a little PINK! But as you can read, I'm still alive and for that its an overall, A-OK

This location is always full of people, if you decide to stay and make the line, then you don't have anywhere to sit because people are holding tables, these are friends or family of people that are standing in line way behind you! Not worth it!

Eat this crap and threw up hours later. This was the worst food ever the establishments as filthy and some of the tables were broken and leaning to the side. The best way to describe the food is a big bowl of Mexican fare just thrown on top of each other in a bowl. It's garbage the only reason I ate there is because my friend insisted the food was wonderful- it's not. We got it to go because I refuse to eat with trash on the floor and food particles on the tables and chairs. The place is so loud you can't hear what people are saying, it's like eating faux baggage bag Mexican food in a dirty night club.

I enjoy Chipotle. I do not however enjoy anything about this location. I work nearby so if I wanted Chipotle my options are limited to this location. Well, I've determined its simply not worth it. If you order in person, you're met with pretty lousy customer service and smaller than average portions. If you order online they don't start your order until you arrive in the store. I assumed it was an isolated incident, but its happened every instance since the first. I'm honestly pretty upset about this review. I've given myself multiple chances to not have a bad experience here but its just so.....consistently disappointing. I didn't even care about the 60 on the recent health inspection, everything else is bad enough as is. Don't eat here. It doesn't satisfy your chipotle craving and you're worse off for the experience.

Why have online ordering where you can order 25 mins ahead if you still have to wait for them to make it when you get there?

The food is good, but this is the most poorly run restaurant I've ever visited. They repeatedly run our of staple menu items, such as chicken and even RICE! And the wait time is ALWAYS close to half an hour. They've lost this customer for good. Moe's food might not be as good, but AT LEAST THEY HAVE FOOD, so they'll be my first stop next time I'm craving a burrito...

I eat at this Chipotle a lot only because it's near my job, but honestly I'm not a fan of this location. It's always way too busy and it's too small for the amount of people that visit this one. I always use online ordering, but it seems like some of their employees don't understand how that works. If I order my food and I'm there to pick up at the time I was told to, my food should be ready, but it's almost never not ready. The food is almost always cold. My corn and tomato salsa were actually still thawing once. Cold food is not appetizing, that definitely needs to be fixed. All in all, if you're in this area on a weekend, this Chiptole should be skipped. There are much better places to try along Buford Dr. But on a weekday, I would say go for it. Also, the music is unnecessarily loud here.

Avoid the Buford Chipotle location! We went last night and ordered taco bowl and asked two double corn tortillas since they are so thin and break after one bite! All was fine until I reached the cashier where the General Manager Maria L. was standing. To start off she was super RUDE. She said we will need to charge you for the double tortillas and told her its never been an issue before but even then whats another 50 cents so I said fine. I was about to order chips and guac. Then she pointed to their menu above and said "it doesnt say double tortillas." My wife and I gave her an earful and walked out! She could not even speak English but had crazy attitude. Shame on you Chipotle for lack of CUSTOMER SERVICE! Focus on employee training and look at all the negative reviews on Yelp! To the management - we will never visit your Buford location and tell all our friends and family to do the same!

I have been going to this Chipotle for lunch at least once a week for the last six months and something has happened to this place since I first started going, I get the same burrito every time I go. They used to be PERFECT. However, when I go now i get a burrito that literally explodes when i remove the foil, and not because it is jam packed with food, but instead it explodes because the people who make burritos cant seem to wrap them anymore. The last 3 or 4 times I have gone there I ended up with a completely unwrapped mess before i could even start to eat it. Also, why is the ice machine always broken or empty? You would think a store with a line out the door would maintain something as simple as ice. All in all after today's unwrapped mess i wont be back.

On the positive side their food is still very good when they have it, but my last 2 recent visits at lunchtime found them temporarily out of ready chicken (believe it or not) and the next time out of guacamole. A noticeably grouchy serving employee informed me the guac would be "7 minutes before it's ready". This was at 12:30pm with a huge line, so it's obviously unacceptable and hopefully a manager or someone who gives a crap will take notice and do something about this mediocre location. Their stock price keeps going up so maybe that's most important. I'm not a complainer but this is consistently bad, sometimes it all goes great which would call for 4 stars.

I go here every chance I get. The food has always been so fresh. I love the Guacamole! The place is especially crowded during the lunch hour and I've had to share a table with folks I didn't know, but I didn't mind because the food was so good! If you are there on a beautiful day, eat on the patio as it is much more pleasant than eating in the cramped dining room.

A more expensive version of Moes and Barberitos. They do not give you chips but there menu is organic, for what thats worth. It is more upscale than the before mentioned establishments. The food is good however. I personally like Barberitos the best, Chipotle second and , ewe, Moes third.

I love Chipotle but, this particular Chipotle is seriously lacking! The employees are rude and unfriendly. Most importantly lacking is their generosity. They scrimp on everything. When you ask for corn salsa, they give you less than half a spoonful. When you ask for more they give you another 1/8 of a spoon (and a dirty look and grunt.) Normally, I wouldn't complain about this but, I am going there, over Moe's or Qboda, for this specifically and I don't get other toppings, like cheese, sour cream, etc. They have the smallest portion sizes over all of any Chipotle I have ever been to. Fresh jalapeno's? Nope. "We don't have them." Your general manager insists if I ask you will be happy to cut some up for me but, when I come here you insist this is not the case. All other locations will cut them up! Even the manager was rude. When I order the kids taco kits for my children I rudely told each time, "You only get two sides with this!" I know..I can read. Thank you. Or perhaps tell me there will be a charge if I want to give my kid extra toppings. But, don't be rude and yell at me. Especially, before I even try to order more than two. This happens every time; not just once. My father was eating on the patio one night and exactly at closing time they locked the door leading into the store. They didn't tell anyone seated on the patio they were locking them out. No offer of final drink refills or to see if the would like to exit the store! They had to hop over the fence to go home! Also, this location is rather small and there is often no seating, especially for parties over 4. I am done going here. I will drive to another one or go somewhere else. Adios, Chipotle.

I typically go to this location all the time. It's either a hit or miss depending on what time you go and how many customers there are waiting. Unfortunately my last visit was not good. There was only one customer ahead of me in line with somewhat of a large order. No problem. Except there was only one employee on the line and it took me almost 15 minutes to get my burrito. I also always feel like I'm getting shorted on meat. Every other chipotle location I go to always seems to give almost double what this location serves. Again its always a hit a or miss when I go to this chipotle location. The inconsistent and ridiculous portion sizes take 2 stars away.

Very disappointed in the service of this chipotle. We had placed 4 separate orders for pick up, all of which were said to be ready at 12. Upon arriving around 12:10 only one of them was ready yet, but it seemed as if they were going to get immediately to them in the back- something I hadn't seen and was excited to experience thinking my order would be ready shortly. After waiting 15 minutes two more of the three missing orders came out, which I will note that at this point I had recognized the person we came in with and who we would have been behind in line with had already checked out. We continued to wait for the last order and received it another 15 minutes later- yes I was in chipotle for 30 minutes. And to top it all off I was excited to chow down on what I thought would be the same large portions I love and appreciate and find the smallest burrito chipotle has ever made. Will not be going back to this chipotle no matter how much I do love the company.

Chipotle is awesome. I work in the area and I often come by to grab a quick bite to eat that isn't unhealthy and disgusting. I usually get a chicken or steak bowl. The food is always delicious and generally speaking the service is pretty fast. The downside to this location is that they skimp on everything but especially on guacamole. They had a girl who used to work there who just pilled it on but recently the amount of guac you get for $2 is barely worth it.

I LOVE Chipotle food. Wonderful goodness of tex mex. BUT the reason why I do not come to this location often is because of the long wait time & the HORRIBLE staff. We stood in a line that was just way too long and the question "should we just go to 5 guys?" came up a few times. About 10 minutes later we finally get to order! (yay because i was super hungry.) Then we encountered the first girl. They are so rude and completely uninterested in their job..now that being said I am in customer service myself and know how "the customer is always right" can sometimes be a misconstrued. But I couldn't believe how awfully rude the counter girls were. One yelled at me when I couldn't hear what she was saying and I accidentally stuck my fingers over the glass and she scolded me loudly in front of a whole line of people...I am a grown woman...I do not need to be scolded by a teenager. Then the manager ringing me up shooed me away after I was trying to get my plates together. The table situation is never a good one here because there are no room at all for families of 5+ except one seat which is usually taken up by a family of 3. I LOVE CHIPOTLE but i would rather go to the one in Atlanta where I work vs the one here where I live.

I loved the food at this place. Fresh, organic and local. Very tasty. Quick service. I wished we had one in Athens. Hint...Hint.... I had a carnitas bowl with a mound of fresh guacamole on top. The food was cooked to perfection and the veggies tasted very good. I highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I visited on a Sunday afternoon. I have had take out before - which I will probably never "dine in" here again. The food is superb, very tasty and fresh. They were very busy and obviously understaffed. While waiting in line, I was looking for a place to sit. There were plenty of options but EVERY single table was dirty. Nasty, that is the worst. There was a patio, which we opted for. We had to wipe the food from the previous guest off our table. There was trash and food all over the patio, the trashcan was overflowing. I know this is a place where you have to throw away your trash - which some people did not and it looked like their empty food baskets had been sitting on the tables for some time. I will continue to do take out but please staff someone to pick up after the guests. I'm pretty sure the manager was the one working behind the counter so I'm sure he knew of the need to clean up the dining room.

I guess it won't change. I was told email the order in to eliminate the wait. Yet you still have to bit in between customers like they don't know the reason your standing off to the side of the register. When you get done with the customer you're taking care of acknowledge the customer standing to the pick up side.

Love chipotle. The food is amazing!! The only thing I dont like is the loud music and small space for seating!

The food is alright, but the place is too loud and too crowded. There's never a place to sit, and the place is way too cramped. To top it all off, the ice machine is never working.

Kinda disappointed. They were not prepared . I asked for avocado in my burrito bowl and found the skin of the avocado in my bowl. They need to be more meticulous when preparing other people's food

I guess it won't change. I was told email the order in to eliminate the wait. Yet you still have to bit in between customers like they don't know the reason your standing off to the side of the register. When you get done with the customer you're taking care of acknowledge the customer standing to the pick up side.

This is by far where I eat out the most at. I love the ingredients and fresh taste of the bowls here and it's pretty healthy. It's priced very well too.

Chipotle is my favorite chain restaurant. I love their food. I loathe this location though. It is always dirty and they are out of the Tabasco chipotle flavor almost every time.

I have not ever had a poor experience here. The food had always been in good quality. The line goes by fast and the service was nice.

Slowest service I have ever experienced at a Chipotle. And they have an 87 'B' for a health score.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
