On a business trip and needed something small and quick to end a long work day. Was kept waiting for under cooked, bland slices of peperoni and spinach and ham and pineapple. The slices were hot on the bottom, enough to melt the cheese some but completely under cooked on top. The beer was stale. Now I am feeling sick. Strongly recommend not eating here.

Ordered the Boss Hog and the Veggie... AMAZING!! This is how a pizza should be. Super cheesy and plenty of toppings. Plus they had great service...

I travel here for work, and over several years the quality has been consistently excellent. Everything us cooked to order so sit back and have a beer while you wait.

Its the best pizza in town to put it simply. Great food, great service, and at a great price. I eat there whenever I crave Pizza in Brunswick, and I always will.

I grew up in Brunswick but now live out of town and every time I come home, we go to Broomelli Boys! The pizza there is the BEST! My favorite is the white pizza with artichokes and mushrooms. I've never seen this variety of pizza elsewhere -- it has lovely little chunks of feta cheese in the mozzarella and a delicious garlicky bread. Even the "traditional" pizzas -- tomato sauce with toppings (they have fresh spinach which is nice!) -- is pretty tasty, but can't compete with the white pizza if you love cheese like I do. The salads are very big with lots of toppings -- the Porky in particular is really good if you're in the mood for bacon and ham -- which, of course, as everyone knows, makes everything taste better. They also have a nice selection of wines by the glass and beer, including Sweetwater (a local GA beer on tap). The atmosphere is very casual, usually fairly noisy with kids, but they are great with kids and will "kiddy-cut" pizzas slices into little pieces for your young ones. I can't say enough about this place. I love it!

Amazing pizza and cheesy breadsticks. Worth the stop. It usually takes awhile for the food to come out but We'll worth it

On our way back up the east coast we stopped off for dinner after searching this hick town for almost an hour for someplace decent. We found this wonderful hometown pizza joint by chance. The waitstaff is upbeat and extremely friendly. I had a salad which was delicious, while the hubby and kids shared a pizza that they happily devoured. The set up is odd with order first then seat yourself, but the girls who work there go around and refill your drinks and check on how your doing. They don't have any desserts so if your craving something sweet maybe try someplace else. Enjoy!

Came here today based on yelp reviews. The pizza was good, and we had a Philly steak and cheese to split which was tasty. The restaurant has a nice friendly atmosphere.

Great food and they serve beer!! Don't worry about not finding the place from 95, they have signs galore (it's in a plaza by the way). Also, their bathrooms were immaculate. Not a bad place to stop by during a road trip!

Grabbed two pizzas to go while staying the weekend in Brunswick. Excellent decision! We got a medium pepperoni and sausage and a medium flyin hawaiian (w/ jalapeños). Both were delicious. The sauce is thick and sweet...the crust is thick, soft, and chewy...all the toppings were generous, fresh, and very tasty. This is not a "greasy new york" pizza...much more wholesome feeling. We did not eat in, but the restaurant appeared very clean and they had a nice selection of draft beer and house wines from what I could see at the counter. We vacation in Brunswick every year, and this will be an annual stop for us from now on!

My gf and I gave Broomelli's a try while lodging at a hotel close by. We had our food delivered which took standard 45 minutes. Our food was good, nothing to rave about (fresh toppings, considering we ordered a veggie), not sure about the prices in regards to pizza.

My wife and I ate here while we were in Brunswick for work. We wanted to try something local and it was good. I will definitely be back when I am in town.

Those who have followed my reviews of NYC pizzerias already know this, but in case you don't, the single critical ingredient in pizza is the sauce. Crust and cheese are hard to screw up. And Broomelli Boys pulls through with delicious, fresh, and flavorful sauce on both their pizzas and subs. Yea, it was gonna be either a chicken parm sub for me or the pizza. Or was it? No, I got both. Just to see what each tasted like. The pizza would rival even some of my favorite NYC places, and the sub wasn't just a sub- no, the bread was actually crisp, flaky, and spongy enough that I would have eaten just a sandwich with bread and sauce, if it were served. In any city in the US this would be a great pizza shop, and in a hellhole like Brunswick, GA, this place might serve some of the best grub you would find.

Best pizza in south GA. Reminded me of NJ pizza. If you are at FLETC this is a must.

I've been eating at Broomelli Boys since they opened several years ago and I have always left happy and full. The pizza really is outstanding with a thin and chewy crust and just the right amount of toppings. The salads are excellent too with the "New Blue" being my absolute favorite. If you go at lunch time get one of the specials..either two slices and a drink or a slice, salad and drink....it is plenty of food and you'll have a great meal for under 8 bucks. The menu is simple with pizza, salads, bread sticks, calzones and the recent addition of a few sandwiches. No matter what you get you can't go wrong. Beer and wine are available.

Yelp was right on this one! Excellent pie, great beer and friendly service. Highly recommended! If you're a fan of the thinner Jersey style with less cheese pizza just ask. They will accommodate. They definitely take pride in their work.

Awesome!!! we stopped on our way north to Virginia. Reviews are right! The service was fast, the pizza was fresh and tasted great. And the bathroom was spotless! We were very pleased.

My family and I went to Broomelli Boys Pizzeria. We found out about it on Yelp. We went as a family of 5 and the meal was very reasonably priced with fresh and delicious food.

  • Kristen M.

Good service. Pizza was good (and cut into small pieces for kids). The hot sausage and pepper sandwiches were huge and tasty. I could only eat half! Will go back if I find myself in the area again during meal time.

This pizza is not only good fresh, but just as delicious heated the next day in the oven. I normally don't like reheated pizza. They definitely aim for qualilty

  • Jay B.

BBP does pizza right and the service was great! You will need to order first and then grab your seat. You can choose from a slice, med, or large pizza. I picked the Boss Hoss (all meat) and a pint of Abita Andygator beer.

    (3)
  • Doug N.

Simply put - really good pizza. I got a slice of the "Boss Hog" meat lovers and it did not disappoint. The slices are huge and make a nice lunch.

  • Sean M.

Came in as a part of a roller derby after party with the South Coast Roller Girls. The food was great and the staff was able to handle that large of a group showing up with ease.

    (4)
  • Elena S.

Really good, house made pizza and breadsticks. Prices are reasonable and you can even order by slice. Huge slices! One of my daughter's favorites because it's so laid back.

    (5)
  • Catherine P.

Really tasty pizza! Here in town for work and I didn't want chain restaurant pizza. The staff is friendly and it's very clean. Pizza comes out hot to your table in minutes! The medium comes with six slices and it's huge....I've only made it through two! Left overs...I think so

Got off I-95 for Ruby Tuesdays or Applebee's and decided to try this place because it had 4.5 stars. First off they had really great service. The pizza was just meh, nothing really there, the dough/crust was really dry and tasteless. The crust is supposed to be the best part! And to top it off, my girlfriend and I got sick after leaving. Should have gone to Applebee's.

If I'm eating pizza in brunswick I prefer broomelli boys . It's casual and always good

Great lunch specials here. Friendly staff and good pizza. You can get two big slices and a drink for about $7, which is a great deal.

  • Johnathan C.

We stopped here 2 years back on our way to daytona. I vowed to stop there every trip from there on out. Hands down the best pizza we've ever had.

    (5)
  • Karen V.

Really good pizza for the area, I just have an issue with the service. Last time I was there, it took over an hour to get my take-out. They are slammed and that is great for business, but maybe they need to hire some additional help.

  • Lan T.

For Brunswick, GA, I'd have to say that Broomelli Boys is pretty darn good. The pizza is more on the thin crust side but not like Italian thin crust. I shared the Classic and White pizza (both large) with 3 others. That was more than enough for us. The large pizza has 8 slices and the medium had 6 slices. I got full after 2 slices. If you're starving and have a large appetite, I think you'll get pretty full with 3 slices. If I were back in Brunswick and was craving pizza, I'd definitely go back to Broomelli Boys. I wasn't a huge fan of the pizza crust, but it totally satisfied my craving for pizza.

  • Ashton C.

On a road trip we stopped by. I was sick of fast food and picked this place based on yelp reviews. Red Barron is a better pizza. Soft and doughy crust. Obviously frozen ingredients. Do they even make their own dough? I was sick to my stomach a few hours later. Took me a full 24 hours to recover. Not exactly the best road trip story to tell.

  • Jenny K.

Good and convenient place to go! Pizza is always hot and fresh, and the staff at Bromelli are kind and helpful. Price may be pricy, but quality of food evens out.

  • Brad K.

Found this place on yelp while in the area on vacation. While the Za' was good, it wasn't 5 stars. Maybe the locals in the area think this is good Za' but it's only 3 stars for us. Pizza sizes were huge, so you definitely get your monies worth. Crust was soft and nice. Prices were on the high end. As I think this is the best pizza in the area, they know it, so they charge for it. While it gets 5 stars from locals, it's 3 for us.

The HMS Mollusk hit this place while adrift on an east coast, spring break voyage and walked away feeling happy and satiated. I highly recommend the blue salad. It was fresh and delicious. The pizza is a bit doughy for my taste but we all enjoyed that it was handmade in front of us and it was tasty. In a southern sea filled with Cracker Barrels and McDonalds this was a welcome beacon in the night.

We were driving through Brunswick with our family of 6 and stopped for pizza after finding Broomelli Boys on Yelp. We were not disappointed!! The pizza was super tasty and hearty, just as we like it. We enjoyed the electric/modern decor and friendly ambiance. My son had brought in his Start Warms lightsaber and accidentally left it behind. We didn't realize it until we were back home several states away. He was devastated! I called and left a message asking if it would be possible for the restaurant to send it to us. Much to my son's JOY the owner called me back and then mailed it to us!!! So great pizza AND great customer service! If only we had such a good pizza joint near us locally!

  • Thomas A.

I really don't get what all the hype is about. As a Georgia native, perhaps I just don't understand the allure of NY/NJ styled "pie"? The pizza is just okay and somewhat overpiced. I have ate here a few times and always leave thinking I would have been happier at Pizza Hut. From some of the more recent reviews it seems that they now include complimentary food poisning with all of their meals. Fortunately I've never had that experience.

Hand tossed New York Style Slices. Big + served Hot with friendly wait staff! Busy place at lunchtime!

  • RileyDog M.

Great food, great prices!! Nice clean environment. Not a huge menu- but if you want pizza like food- they have everything! When it comes to a pizza place you don't want a huge menu! I had a salad and some white cheese breadsticks which was like a flatbread but tasted great. Wish I tried the pesto cheese breadsticks. I ordered a glass of wine. The front counter girl nicely told me it was $5.50 for a glass or $10 for the bottle that I could take home! Next time I'm in Brunswick I'll be sure to stop here for lunch or dinner.

  • Cayce D.

The pizza was mediocre. They don't have filtered ice so the drinks there taste horrible. Atmosphere was OK. Just overall unimpressed. I had heard it was really good but I just didn't have that experience.

    (3)
  • Troy S.

I don't like pizza that is all soft and doughy. Feels like you ordered a loaf of wonder bread with sauce thrown on top. Gross.

  • Robert U.

I love this place, and so does my family. I am a hard-core pizza connoisseur, and bordering on pizza-snobism. I've had good pizza in Chicago, New York, Paris, Rome, London, and many other cities. I love Broomelli Boys, and here's why: - The PIZZA is excellent. This is thin, doughy crust pizza with fresh toppings. The sauce is tangy and not too sweet. There is plenty of cheese. Toppings are generously applied. - The salads are great, too - very fresh and crisp, and I think the dressings are good. - The service is great. You pay first and the cashier hands you your drinks. You sit down anywhere and they bring you your food. But then they keep checking on you, will refill drinks, carry away empty dishes, and will bring you a box to take home your leftovers. Very nice and warm folks work here. - The Waltimore family has been here two years running (while on spring break), and if/when we return to this area, we will go again. It's that good.

Food looked good but terribly slow service. Placed an order and was told it would be ready in 20 mins. By the time I got to the checkout, it had been 25 minutes and my pizza hasn't even gone in the oven. When will restaurants realize that customers will not put up with poor service no matter how good the food is.

  • Jay B.

We picked up a couple of pizzas and took them back to our hotel during a short stopover. The pizza was excellent and the price was right. They don't deliver, but it's worth the drive to get it yourself.

Great find on our trip to Brunswick. Good pizza , sandwiches and salads were really good . Fed a family of 5 for $35.00 what a deal even had 2 beers . Staff was friendly

Great pizza, not greasy. Atmosphere, location not the best, but with good food, good service, and good premium draft beers it wins

  • Midi S.

Just a quick update: still great pizza. In fact, I just re-heated a leftover slice of the Classic for lunch not half an hour ago... The update is that they have expanded their menu. I had posted previously that they don't do sandwiches and pastas... now they do. It's all good though. Their sandwiches are on their own bread made from their awesome pizza dough... and nothing is too far of a stretch from their core strength. Meatball parm subs and spaghetti with sausages and things like that. Yum...

  • Fred W.

The pizza wasn't too expensive. I've also been told they make an amazing cheese steak, I personally haven't had it but I trust the person making the claim. The crust on the pizza is crusty on the outside but still chewy on the inside, perfect in my book. It came to our table piping hot too.

  • Andy M.

It's the best pizza in Brunswick. The decor is fun and from the moment you walk in, you realize that thankfully, it's not just another Pizza Hut or Pizza Inn. The staff has been friendly every time I've gone in. The tables are spacious and the portions are huge. The variety of pizzas is fantastic, and there is always the possibility of adding toppings or doing a half-and-half pizza. It's a bit pricey, but it is worth it for what you are getting!

    (5)
  • A. J.

This is the best pizza that I have had in years. The dough is perfect and the slices are huge. The white pizza was outstanding also. this is by far the best pizza for hundreds of miles. Well done Broomelli Boys!

  • Mark G.

Excellent! We stopped in Brunswick overnight, and found Broomelli Boys through Yelp and thought we'd give it a try - woo hoo! It is a bit quirky, someplace you might see on "Dinners, Drive Inns and Dives". You order when you first walk in, then grab a table. We got pizza...cheap, good eats, and extra sauce for the crust. We saw a lot of other good stuff leaving the kitchen...salads, sandwiches, etc.; you name it it looked good. Skip the chain places, and give this on a try - you will be glad you did.

  • Brian W.

This place has very good pizza. I recommend the pizza by the slice over ordering a whole pizza. You'd think it would be the same, but its not, the individual slices are larger and the crust is thinner. The atmosphere reminds me of a mellow mushroom. When you order they give you a photo frame with interesting pictures in them, you set this on your table and the waiter looks for your picture when he/she brings the food. Much more interesting than giving you a number card to put on the table. The salads and subs are good too.

  • Olivia J.

This place has absolutely awesome pizza. Everything is really fresh and tastes just fantastic. My favorite pizza topping is green olives, which I'm normally cautious to order at chain pizza places, because 75% of the time, they've turned rancid. Never so at Broomelli Boys. I've never had anything that wasn't awesome from them. My husband and I would always get a medium pizza with green olives and roma tomatoes (a large if we wanted leftovers), or split a calzone (spinach) and an order of Pesto Styx, which are their best item in my opinion. So delicious, and different! We also like the New Blue salad.

  • Nick M.

Great pizza! Friendly staff! Great topping selection and specialty pizzas! I just hope my travels bring me near by here again.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
