My wife and I stopped in here for a snack and drink while we were vacationing in the Golden Isles. We did not eat out a lot on this trip but this was definitely a high point. We shared the a pound of the wild, boiled shrimp which were delicious! We also had the side salad (fine, neither bad or noteworthy) and the onion rings (also fine, but not special). The focus is obviously the seafood. Bottom Feeders isn't quite a total dive bar but leans that direction and is a pretty good one if you're into that type of place (which we are). The highlight of our experience though was our bartender/ server, Heather. She was incredible. When you visit sit at the bar, have a Yuengling, and ask for Heather!

Stopped here on our way out of Saint Simons on a Sunday afternoon. The place was pretty empty but there were a few large groups. Lobster Nachos - The boyfriend ordered this because he loves lobster (who doesn't??). He was pleasantly surprised at the amount of lobster on top and the rest of the nacho topping were unremarkable. This is a large plate of food for $10. Low Country Boil - I ordered this because I wanted some seafood since apparently Brunswick is the shrimping capital. It comes with 14 shrimp (I counted so I could split them with the boyfriend), a chopped up sausage, a few chopped up red potatoes, cole slaw (sans much cream) and a boiled egg all covered in Cajun spices. The Cajun spices were a little too salty for my taste but I was extremely satisfied with the amount of seafood and accoutrements. If you mix the dish up a little, the salt kind of disperses so once I figured that out, everything was much better. Service - Was great, the waitress put our order in before the large group's so that we wouldn't have to wait forever which was very kind of her. Verdict - I could see us stopping by again if we are ever in the area.

I used to like this place until I took my mom for Mother's Day and the server was RUDE. We asked for a cocktail menu and she said she only could offer margaritas because she hadn't done any ordering. Wow. The food is mediocre.

I really find restaurants that serve dishes with plastic cups and plates very annoying. I had the Lobster Nachos which was surprisingly good. My husband had the crab cakes which I thought were weird tasting but he said they were edible. We don't plan to go back any time soon.

Absolutely delicious seafood with a beyond generous serving. Service was good. Atmosphere is okay, but as it gets later I'm not sure it would be a great family place.

My date and I ate salads. He got a blackened Mahi salad and I got the blackened grilled chicken sald. They were both delicious. Also Mandy was great. Niki is our usual server but she had the night off, she is wonderful. Both girls have great attitudes.

The BBQ was great, homemade fries were great, loved the Mahi Mahi, and the shrimp was great. 10% discount with yelp.

I am from Brunswick so while I was here visiting I wanted some seafood. The East Coast does it the best. At least I thought until I went to this place. So I decided to give this place a try that was a big mistake on my part. So I ordered my food to go. If I could give it a negative star I would. The shrimps were chewy. The butter was watery and the food looked as if they just dumped some Old Bay over.......i didn't even eat the oysters, mussels or scallops after I saw what I saw which is my biggest complaint when I picked up one the clams to eat there was this slimy mess with it. I don't know if it was snot, spit or what but the health department needs to inspect that place. I stopped eating my food and threw it away. That meal was not worth 25 dollars. DON'T EAT HERE!!!!

We have been to this same location several times as it changed from seafood restaurant to seafood restaurant. Bottomfeeders was unremarkable and I do not expect to see it still in business the time we visit Jekyll island. The service was good. However, portions were small, quality was mediocre and they were out of both oysters and horseradish. The shrimp in the low country boil was overcooked but did have a good flavor. Limited beer selection. Coleslaw had no flavor. Overall not worth the time and money.

Stopped in during a beach trip on Memorial Day weekend. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that they were having AYCE crab legs and ACYE shrimp. Both were delicious!! Our waitress was friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be back!
