Overall I was disappointed in the service here. From the moment I walked in the door, to the moment I left, I was made to feel like just a body in the room. The food was decent, just make sure you take it to go. My experience is below. When me and my girlfriend arrived we were greeted promptly, and given the seething closest to the door (having no idea that I would want to run out after everything). As soon as we sit down we were already being asked what we wanted to order, even though I haven't seen the menu yet. While my girlfriend and I were trying to enjoy a nice meal and discussion, we were continuously bombarded by several different waiters who wanted to "take our order". I felt like I was on a car dealership; not good. As I try to order our food, the waitress and I struggle to communicate because she doesn't speak English well. So she gets another waiter and he struggles to understand me as well. At this point I give up and point to something on the menu. After our food arrived we were left in peace. However there was no waiter to check on us periodically or to refill our drinks. My coke was empty for 15min. At this point I try to wave down a couple of waiters with no success. I had to get up out of my seat and stop someone so I could get my check to leave. Never have I had such bad service.

Yesterday was bad decision central. Mostly because I decided to fly into Atlanta instead of Charlotte (my mom is in the middle and Greenville was too expensive this year). My flight out of Logan was fine, but once in Atlanta is was one delay after another, and because of traffic I had to wait an extra hour for my mom after I finally got my luggage. I was tired. I was cranky. I was hungry. Driving north on I-85, we saw sign after sign for food, but I was too zoned out or lazy to actually get off the highway. It was probably nothing more than coincidence we got off the highway where we did and headed let. It was my distaste for most chain restaurants that led me into the unassuming shopping center that contains El Centinela. And it was Eeeny Meany Miney Moe that decided we were having Mexican and not Chinese/Thai (the BBQ joint there too closes early). And. THANK GOD. Seriously. This was the best damned Mexican food I've had in forever. Our server was charming and delightful and the late night patrons were, well, colorful.... and entertaining. The chips were crisp and warm, and the salsa... ooooh the salsa. The salsa was fresh and delicious and ripe with onion and cilantro and goodness and love. I had chicken fajitas and the meat was moist and full of flavor. I think my mouth died and went to heaven. OMFG. Seriously. Yes, that good. And the prices! Let's just say everything was pretty well priced. I am a definite fan and I never would have known if I hadn't flown into Atlanta. As it turns out, yesterday was good decision central.

I miss this place so much! Their food is delicious, moderately priced, and the service is always good. If you have some time to get sloshed and aren't driving I highly recommend trying out one of their HUGE and delicious margaritas. They sure don't skimp on the alcohol. What's better than awesome mexican food, chill environment, and a stiff (and fruity) drink?

We live around the corner and this will always satisfy my mexican craving. Service is fast, food is always fresh and hot, and queso is amazing.

This is one of the best places for Mexican that I've ever had, and keep having. My Wife and I are regulars. They've been able to expand and increase the dining area, without sacrificing food quality.

For this spot being in the middle of nowhere, I was surprised; it was actually pretty good. Definitely white people Mexican food though, but good nonetheless.

Typical Mexican spot but they do things right. Good service, chips brought out quickly. And drinks not far behind. Salsa fresh and tasty. -1 star because over 10 are so visits no dish popped for me. Things were done right i just never found a great unique dish. It was okay. But just typical Mexican restaurant food to me.

This was the lunch spot when I worked in Braselton. The food isn't something that's going to make you go home and slap your mama ... but it is always good and fresh, fast, and dirt cheap. The waiters are always very attentive without being obnoxious, and they can kind of "sense" when you're there on a 30 minute lunch, or whether you've got an hour to kill - and they adjust the speed accordingly. The enchiladas supreme is awesome, and they do NOT cheap out on the cheese! For "after work hours" (*wink* *wink*) they have a great selection of tequila as well.

BEST Mexican food in the area! My family and I have been going to this restaurant several times a month for about 5 years + now. The only complaint I have is that the wait staff is a hit or miss. However, the food is fantastic! Fresh salsa and warm chips are the best! :)

After my first two visits here I would have given this place a 5 star review. However, after a few more visits over the months, I have come to realize there is definite inconsistency with the quality/taste of the food. Service is always good even when they are packed out. On a good day, it is the best Mexican food anywhere in GA. However, you are only going to get that on about 1/3 of your trips there. On that good day I am talking about, they have the best chili rellenos and soft tacos that you will ever have. The problem is, most of the time they are just average. The place does have a nice atmosphere though. If they could get slightly more consistent they would be a 4 star joint. With definite consistency they would be 5. Parking is tight so prime time hours are rough, especially if you drive a large vehicle.

Solid Mexican foods ;-)... Moved to the Braz from Decatur and this was an exciting find. Love the green sauce, service has always been really good to. There is also a great large back room for big family's and other parties.

This place has fantastic and authentic Mexican food. It smelled so good inside! The chips and salsa were very good. They make their own salsa. It was really good. I especially loved the poblano stuffed pepper. My fiend had the nachos and it looked very good too! The service was ok. They definitely need some timing when serving the food. Mine took a while longer than everyone else's dinners. We also had a pitcher of Margarita with salt on the glasses. Delicious.

This is my favorite restaurant in the area. (Braselton location) The food is delicious and served fast. It looks small on the outside, but there's actually a lot of room inside. The parking lot is another story though. Its hard to find parking because of the other businesses and it is a busy restaurant. It is so worth it though! I rarely have to wait in line for a seat. If I do its just for a minute or two. No big deal. The Fajitas are so delicious! It has a nice marinade or fajita sauce. It comes with tortillas, rice and beans and a "salad" with sour cream. The salad is just fresh tomato slice, avocado slices and a tomato/cilantro mix. It's all so good. My dad gets the California burrito, I believe it is called. He's always torn between that or the steak/shrimp fajitas. The free chips and salsa is always so fresh! We love it when the jalapeños they use are nice and spicy! Try the frozen margaritas! They do not skimp on the alcohol. They really do them good here. Staff is friendly and fast. They are always dishing great customer service! Great for families and large parties.

We eat here about once to two times a week! This place is the best!!!!!! Ask for Jose! I have tried just about everything on the menu and I have yet to order something I dislike. I do have to say anything with chorizo is great!!! The salsa & queso is amazing as well! If you have not been here you have to try it! Even if your just traveling through.

Great little spot tucked away in a strip mall. Stopped for lunch. Greeted and sat right away. There is a lunch menu with 15-20 dishes very reasonably priced. The chips were thicker than my liking and the salas lacked originality, but was not bad or stale. The food was served quick, authentic and good. There are five taps on draft and a full wine/liquor bar. Also a couple TVs in the bar with a neat sign I snapped a pic of. Tell them you know me a get a shot of Patron for only $8.99

Hands down the best Mexican place around!! We have been coming to this location with friends and family for years!! The staff are very friendly and the service is great. The food always comes out hot and I've never had issues with not liking any thing on the menu. They treat us like family and since we always have a big group they send us to the big room which is very nice! That place has grown and I know why! The cheese dip with chorizo meat is excellent!! Enjoy and don't forget they have excellent specials on beer and margaritas!!

By far the best chain Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. Great service. Friendly staff. Even the manager is sure to greet you when you come in. I now eat at this place at least once a week. Prices are incredible.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
