Always crowded and cramped.......usually that means wonderful food! Not so with what I've gotten there. Nothing outstanding that I have ever had.

Great little eclectic joint in the square in downtown Blairsville. We had breakfast for lunch and it was hearty and filling. The menu consists of traditional southern favorites like over sized biscuits, grits, and egg dishes. I had biscuits with gravy. The gravy was a little pasty but it tasted yummy. The wait staff is great and the atmosphere is easy for kids.

Been in here before and will be coming back again. The coffee for start is great. the service is friendly and helpful with menu info. We order the healthy omelet,( spinach) I with grits and wife with hash browns, and two pancake. The pancakes came over cook, (bottom side burn) Next one tasted out of a box, not as before that we have experience at this establishment, hope they go back to the original receipt on the pancakes. By the way the server will keep your coffee mug full with fresh Coffey. REMEMBER CASH OR CHECK ONLY.

Ate here two days in a row, that says something in and of itself! Food was great, I had the Crab BLT with fries for lunch both days! Would have given them 5 stars but the order took exceptionaly longer on the second day. Great food and would recommend them.

CUTE, QUAINT AND READY TO FEED YOU! This little restaurant is located in on the square in downtown Blairsville, GA. After researching the area and discovering that this particular restaurant dates back to 1931, I knew that we would be eating breakfast here. The restaurant is small and quaint from the outside but surprisingly spacious on the inside. Seating consists of tables and booths. We chose a booth and it was very comfortable, just the right height with plenty of personal space. I just love natural wood and of course it was everywhere! Various signs such as ( "A fool and his money are soon wanted everywhere", "Beware, my dog can't hold his licker") are posted through- out the restaurant. You may also purchase your souvenir t-shirts here. Upon entering the restaurant we are warmly greeted and invited to seat ourselves. Our waitress quickly appears and after some consideration, My husband decides to order the western omelet (with toast and home fries), plate and I order the scrambled eggs with bacon and potatoes. My eggs were light and fluffy and my bacon was well prepared and crisp. I did find that the bacon was a bit too salty for me, but it did provide a nice balance to the lightly seasoned eggs. I always give major points for real potatoes with the skin on, that are well seasoned and not greasy. These were great although they could have been warmer. My husband's omelet was very well done from the ingredients to the way that it was seasoned and cooked. Everything about this restaurant (food, customer service, the locals, ambiance) was very nice and relaxing. It was as if we were visiting our favorite relative's home. We would definitely eat here again!. BUT WAIT... As we exit the restaurant, we encounter a musical group seated just outside the door playing Blue Grass music. They were really good and certainly the cherry on top!

Good Breakfast For Sunday breakfast in Blairsville, the Hole in the Wall seems to be the place to go. There was a line, but it moved quickly. Service is fun and friendly. Prices are very fair. Food is very good. We particularly liked the country ham. Also good was the French toast and the grits.

Very good food. I had Eggs Benedict, delicious. I was surprised at how expensive this little place was though. Not sure if they will survive in this town with those prices. But great place for a home cooked meal!

Pros: nice service, local, down home country folks Cons: way overpriced (look at the menu), smells bad inside like old people who smoke 3 packs a day, very unclean, mediocre food to say the least. Won't be back!

Very average. Eggs were a little sloppy, potatoes greasy. Definitely a local place. Not great.

Any time I'm in the area I make sure this is the place I have breakfast at. The pancakes are amazing!

Great place for southern food and hospitality. Friendly staff, excellent food for the price, and awesome banana pudding. Does not take debit/credit so bring cash or check.

This place was great. It is a little hole in the wall restaurant but it has a great atmosphere (eclectic!) and friendly staff (who are happy to suggest food items) and the food was delicious. Remember they do not take credit or plastic....cash or check! I would stop here again and recommend it :)

Definitely a little dive. The signs all over the walls are hilarious to read. The lunch is pretty good, but the breakfast cannot be touched. 6 bucks buys 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, choice of: grits, hashbrowns, home fries, and toast or biscuit (fluffiest dang things you ever seen!) Waitresses are cute and on top of everything all the time! We'll be back everytime. Went there twice while staying in the area for a week!

Not great, but not bad. I ordered the open face roast beef sammich. It was good and the veggies were good. The service was fine and it was our last meal before heading home.

I ate lunch here on a lazy saturday afternoon. I decided to eat outside at one of the front outdoor tables but that was a big mistake. This area also serves as the smoking area for the wait stuff on there breaks. What I assumed to be the owners daughter and the owner son both came out at two different times and smoked while I was sitting next to them eating. I usually expect wait staff to smoke out back. Today I ate the open faced meatloaf sandwich. It was sliced a little on the thin side but it was very tasty. Sides I chose were basic mashed potatoes and gravy and spinach. It was a very good plate for lunch. I would come back here again when I am in this town but I will ask for a seat inside.

The 5 stars goes to the overall dining experience. You get generous portions and great quality at a very reasonable price. It's no wonder this place has been in business since 1931. I am from Atlanta, and came across by accident, checked Yelp, and noticed there were no reviews so I had to add it after I had a fantastic meal. Guy Fieri needs to get over here and have Triple-D episode here. Fresh ingredients and homemade sausage. The desserts are out of this world (made on premises).

Had a tasty catfish sandwich, homemade fries, and a great homemade brownie. Very friendly and fast service. Don't forget cash, as they don't take cards.

6 of us came in after breaking down after an annual camping nearby. We were filthy, tired, and hungry. We left in our original filthy state, but we were happy and full. It was Labor Day, and very busy, but we got a big round table immediately. They did go on a short wait a couple times while we were eating. Our service couldn't have been more efficient, and the food came out quickly considering how busy the place was. We all had breakfast, and I think of few of us may have licked our plates clean. Not me, I'm too classy. Speaking of classy, the decor is not, but it is very entertaining. You'll see what I mean when you arrive. I had the all the way potatoes, which will not disappoint. Thinking of them fondly right now, and wishing they were with me. In and out in under an hour, under $10/person, and on our way home to 4 different states. I believe the farewell breakfast will be held here from now on.
