Stopped by before a late movie, 8:00PM Friday night. Saw the reviews in Yelp but figured we would give it a try. Just inside the door they have a 92 health score, we were seated immediately. Chips to the table quickly, waitress came by a minute later and took our drink order. We gave her our meal order as well. Food was out in 9 minutes and was exactly what we ordered. Waitress checked on us 4 times over next 25 minutes. Pricing was inline, restrooms clean, no problems here.

Used to love it but they put in lighting that makes you feel like you're in a cheap basement cafeteria. Sad to see this happen. I hope they change it.

We used to go to El centinela all the time. Lately we haven't started going to panchos bc it seems to be owned by the same people. The menu is even very similar. The plus is that it's usually ALOT less busy.

Asked for chicken, and they brought beef. Put in a drink order, and was told 30 minutes later they didn't have Sam Adams (it was on the menu). Tried to send the beef plate back, and the waiter was hardly apologetic (even though he confirmed "chicken" earlier). Friend asked for a dessert menu, the waiter brought it ... and never came back. I'd give it less than 1 star if I could.

I was there on 11/22/2014. Food had little flavor. We asked for cheese dip twice and still did not get it. We did not get refills on our drinks. It seemed if you were Mexican you got great service A party of 10 had the waitress all over it. We trying to explain our issues to the manager but he did not care. He also played the game of I don't understand I speak a little English. Rating system should have no stars as a choice.

I would say the food and the prices are pretty standard as far as Mexican restaurants go. What really makes Panchos stand out from the rest are their margaritas. They are excellent! Size, price, flavor; everything about their drinks are top notch. We have been there four times and our servers have always been prompt and attentive. I like that they have patio seating for when the weather is nice.

I realize the table for 2 isn't going to leave as big a tip as the table for 10, but that doesn't mean you ignore it.

Came in for lunch. They have really outstanding salsa!! The menu was very affordable and even had $3 23oz draft beers and $3.50 16oz margaritas. I really enjoyed the Verde sauce on my enchiladas as well. I would definitely recommend and will probably be back.

Read all the bad reviews and was dreading going to a Birthday Party there- Pleasant surprise, the service and food were excellent, hopefully, all the people that wrote the bad reviews will give them another chance...

I have been here a few times the food has never been disappointing until I tried the taco salad I wasn't a huge fan. However I have had a few other items on the menu which were good. Try it out for yourself!

Relative new dining spot. There were 4 in our party for Tuesday lunch. Service was quick and attentive. Good customer service. Lots of menu choices. I had the chicken taco salad & unlike Nikki I's positng mine was great. Good flavors interminged with the nicely pulled chicken. Maybe the other negative reviews were due to some start up issues. We had none. I sampled my dining mates fare. The steak/shrimp Frittata was tasty. The salsa had nice compliment of cilantro & tomatoes. Just spicy enough. We got the special 20 oz draft beer specials which was served immediately & frosty glasses. The prices beat most of the other area tex-mex restaurants. Our visit was a good one.

Just not impressed...my husband got the taco salad and I got supreme quesadilla. I had as much lettuce on my plate as he did. The service was ok...I guess. There is nothing about this place that makes it stand out from all the other Mexican restaurants in the area

We were seated immediately on a Fri. night. Prices are average for Mexican, food was great! Service was good as well. Much better than nearby El Real as far as what you get for the $.

I love Mexican food but this place, holy smokes. It does not even deserve a star. I am a vegetarian and ordered a veggie fajita, long story short my veggie fajita came with a piece of steak hidden underneath a mountain of onions. Furthermore, this was the very first fajita that didn't come out sizzling, plus it was greasy. However, service was great. Our server was very respectful.

We've been to Pancho's twice and had very good experiences both times. Good food, excellent service and reasonable prices. Both visits were at lunchtime on weekdays. As long as the food is hot and tasty and servers continue to be prompt and attentive, we'll keep coming back.

Does not even deserve one star. Horrible. Went May 8th for our 15th wedding anniversary. Food was horrible and the manager was rude and arrogant. Told me that was just "too bad". Our first time and he accused me of being there before and complaining. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. The chicken was very thin and overcooked and almost crunchy it was so hard. Couldn't chew it. Didn't offer to make anything else...just told me too bad for me. Never even apologized. He SAW the chicken. It was obviously horrible. Bun was soaking wet. Plate was 1/3 filled with lettuce, tomatoes and jalapenos...which were runny. I was so shocked. This place will not be in business long. Husband's beans looked like diarrhea. Seriously. Gross!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
