Delicious food but prices are on the high end. The employees mostly young adults, preparing and serving food, display a lack of customer service and courtesy when asked a question. They appeared lost waiting for someone else to answer. Lucky the manager was a sweet lady who took care of us. It'll be a while before I go back due to servers laughing at us when we walked away. Love everything else about this particular Panera!

Panera Bread is my go to spot! I started going to Panera Bread when I was pregnant with my third baby! We loved to eat the Tomato and Mozzarella Panini (which they no longer have)! I find myself in here every Sunday to do some much needed studying and it is a great place to do just that! While eating my bagel and drinking my free coffee, I noticed they have a grab your bag shelf. It seems like a great idea to order your food online and find your food when you walk into the establishment and leave. I have yet to see this in operation, but I am interested in seeing how it works. I use my Panera Bread card all of the time and it always gives great rewards like free coffee for the month, money off an online order, and the yummy, yummy high caloric treats! I must say that I have not had any of the main salads or soups, but I hope to change that. I also enjoy the hot teas they offer and the prices are not to bad. It is in a great location and it has a super atmosphere. The staff is super sweet and always friendly. There is great seating for groups and couple seating. I plan to take full advantage of my free coffee this month so my check in's at Panera Bread will be thru the roof. If you need friendly staff and healthy food with some yummy delicious deserts, then Panera is your place!

Wow! Super fast service at lunch time on a Friday! I had ham and cheese on a croissant. It's my go to! Not awesome. I prefer Panera to ABC, mostly because I feel like in my experience the bread has been better. That was not the case here. They do serve Pepsi products (YAY), and I like their bagged kettle cooked chips much more than the ones over at ABC. I'd venture to say that I'll go back, but if I'm hitting this kind of deli place in Augusta I personally feel like Jason's is better. Or Panera in Evans.

Great place to meet a client or lunch date. Cinnamon sugar bagel toasted twice is heavenly! Also enjoy the "half and half" with soup and sammie. The French onion soup is heavenly! I don't like their salads at all, prob because the dressing is yuck! Not a fan of their desserts. Taste packaged. I enjoy coming here.

I love Panera. I do wish Augusta had some better organic places to sit and have a good salad, but Panera fills that void for now. Getting great service, free WiFi and quality food is always a plus for me.

Artisinal creations in realms of pastry, cafe', and sandwich abound in this breadhouse. I fell in love with Panera many moons ago. Weekend roadtrips to the "A" almost always include a jaunt over to Lenox where shopping abounds and lunch at Panera was a given. Soups, sandwiches and muffins galore for us to devour as we discussed our purchases. I always liked to take a few muffins and Cobblestone loaves back with me to toast and enjoy back at my residence hall to remind me of my funtimes with friends in school in the ATL. ***FASTFORWARD to now*** I have visited many locations and everytime I do... *eyes glaze over in delight* (How this all takes me back!) *waves hand in swooping motion from left to right as if surveying land from atop a hill and it all belongs to me* Thx,Panera, for the memories and delicious food!

I have dined in here once and just recently tried out their rapid pickup service. My first dining experience was great. I had a half smoked ham & turkey sandwich with a half salad and chips. It tasted great. The restaurant itself seemed clean and pretty spacious. There is a lot of seating available. As for their rapid pickup service, I had placed an order online around 9am and set my pickup time for 6pm. I ordered the smokehouse turkey panini, a cup of the tomato soup w/croutons and two small sides of their plain and hazelnut cream cheese spreads. When I arrived a few minutes before 6pm, I noticed my meal was not on the shelf quite yet, so I waited for about 5 minutes. Shortly after, someone placed my meal on the shelf and I grabbed it and left. Easy as that! I like how it was simple and fast. I'm definitely going to utilize their rapid pickup service more frequently. It's very convenient and easy to do.

Very disappointed with this location. I would not go back. Ordered pick two and sandwich was smaller than a folded dollar bill. Brownie was stale and inedible. I used to love panera in Ocala, but not in Augusta

I flip-flop back and forth on whether I love them or not. I guess it depends on what time you come in for your cinnamon crunch and cream cheese or pay through the nose for a soup that gets smaller every year and sandwiches that get smaller and smaller thanks to the "artisanal" breads they use. I miss the good old days when a bowl of use could fit in my giant melamine bowl at home. Now a bowl of soup fits in a cereal bowl and it leaves me hungry and cranky. The pros: 1. Free Wi-Fi for 1 hour during lunch hour 2. A wide variety of self serve coffees 3. A selection of baked goods that appeases the toughest group of picky eaters 4. They're open at 6:00 a.m. 5. They have a Panera card that gives you offers periodically Now the cons: 1. The portions have gotten smaller while the prices get hiked up higher and higher 2. The tables are never clean! 3. Sometimes the stuff in the bakery case is hard and doesn't taste fresh 4. The line to order is loooooong! 5. Their soups come out of a bag and they mix old with new. I found cheese chunks in my French Onion when I asked for no cheese and no croutons. Gross! Sometimes I have to buckle 'cause my stomach just misses tomato bisque or chicken wild rice so much it overpowers my mental capacities. Panera is definitely a once in awhile treat for me after 16 years of watching the quality go downhill after it stopped being the St. Louis Bread Co. 22/2014

This was the most disappointing meal I have ever had at a Panera. It was my first visit to this particular Panera. My friend and I both ordered the chicken and avocado salad. The main complaints I have about the salad have to do with the temperature of the lettuce. The salad tasted as if it had been made earlier in the day and stuck in the cooler until someone ordered it. There were actually pieces of lettuce that looked like they had been wilted in the freezer. Other than the lettuce, the other ingredients were decent, but I only got 2 very small bites of avocado in the entire (half sized) salad. All in all I will look for another place to eat next time I am in this part of Augusta. By the way, I normally don't leave marginal reviews, but this experience was so disappointing, that I had to speak up.

I'm giving this location a 3 instead of a 2 in case the quality of food prep is better during the week. I love Panera bread and frequent other locations enough to feel right about making this post. Stopped at this location on a Sunday morning. The person taking my order seemed confused by me ordering a sesame bagel with heir veggie cream cheese. But that was the smallest of the issue. When I got my egg white, spinach and avacado sandwich, it had a single quarter sized piece. And no spinach but a tomato. My husbands spinach, turkey sausage and egg sandwich barely had a sober of turkey sausage. And tomato as well. If they were out of spinach, that would have been nice to know before ordering. It was just kind of unbelievable.

I've visited this Panera a few times since moving to the Augusta area. One thing that is nice about this location is that it's no where near as busy as the location in my hometown! It has always taken less than 15 minutes to get food, which is always nice. I have never had a problem with the food I have been served at this location -- it is always hot and seemingly fresh. (For lunch, I recommend getting the You Pick Two deal with a Mediterranean Veggie sandwich and Garden Vegetable soup). As for the not-so-positive things I have experienced at this location. Parking is somewhat minimal compared to other locations I have visited. It's a hit-or-miss in regards to the staff; sometimes they're pleasant, sometimes they're rude. This is the only Panera that I have visited where I have run into this problem, but rudeness just seems to be a common thing in the Augusta area. Lastly, my husband always complains about how the Big Kid Grilled Cheese is never thoroughly cooked. Sometimes, it just looks toasted and the cheese is no where near melted. This seems to happen at every Panera, though.

We visited this location 2 days in a row for breakfast and we both ordered breakfast sandwiches. Everything was hot and tasted just like the other Paneras we have been to. Only complaint is that the tea bags are in an awkward place since they are not placed near the sugar packets/stirrers like all the other Paneras I've been to. Bathroom was clean both times and had customer good service. Seemed to be clean and always a busy place. Just wish there was more parking! We will be back.

It breaks my heart to have to write a BAD review for one of my favorite restaurants (one of which I have not been able to enjoy this year while be stationed in Mississippi). This location does not even deserve one star... From the full trashy can both inside and out to very unprofessional service...I should have known better to expect my food to at least be decent. Some one ahead of me complained that their sandwich was not as "full" as it has been in the past (not a lot of turkey- and he was right) then, as he walked away my cashier complained to the other worker about him- and not quietly might I add, I could hear her while I was standing over by his booth waiting for my to go order. I received my food, and noticed they forgot my bread bowl- whatever, it happens, I went back inside and asked for one...I leave and much on my baguette on the ride home. I get home, so excited for my French onion soup and grilled cheese. HOW!? Howwwwww do you screw up a grilled cheese?? It was barely toasted...and the cheese was not melted all the way through. I open my soup cup, pour it in my bread bowl- and it is basically ONLY onions....no broth. This is not soup. This is soggy, salty onions- blah. After seven hours on the highway...having Panera for dinner was my motivation to get Augusta by 8pm. I'm really sad :( haha.

When you're paying nearly a Hamilton ($10) for each sandwich there is an overwhelming expectation that if a picture is shown on the menu, it'd better look similar to what you're served. The food here can easily be a 4-star but fell short by underwhelming preparation and poor service. = FOOD = The delivery of such an expectation was considerably underwhelming when I ordered an Avocado BLT ($8.29) (picture) and only received a quarter of an avo, placed on only half of my sandwich. Really? It wouldn't have been bad if it was at least a whole avocado (only costing $1 at the store) because I could have spread it around myself. Gasp, disappointing. My wife ordered the Almond chicken salad sandwich ($7.29) (picture) and the bread was super soft with chicken so flavorful. The seasoning was light but was just enough to enjoy. = SERVICE = The manager and cashier chatting with customer while 5 people are in line and the other register is counted by two employees. Saving grace was the 3 minute time to give us our food. I was a bit confused as you have to grab you food from a back counter near the bathrooms, but they assume you notice the hidden spot.

My panini is generally cold meat in a very rock hard bread. It cut my gums. I come here every now and then when I get tired of Starbucks. Then I remember why I stop coming here each time. Last time they kept serving me salad that had gone bad. I got sick from the half rotten salad last time.

Can't really go wrong with Panera. Gotta go with the broccoli cheese soup in a bread bowl with half a sandwich. Yes, get the broccoli cheese soup...all the sandwiches are pretty good. You'd think 'I cant go wrong with panera'. WRONG! I called to pick up an order: a tuna sandwich with lettuce and tomato, a cup of broccoli cheddar soup, and an M&M cookie. Not really that complicated. When I got to the counter the girl, Ebony, called me Simon. My name is Simone. When I examined the bags to make sure everything was in them, the M&M cookie was missing. Ebony then told me they were out of M&M cookies and to pick another kind. Ebony, could you not have had someone bake another batch while I was on my way to pick up the food? Or better yet, could you just have told me that when we were on the phone? So then I go to eat the meal and my sandwich had no lettuce and no tomato on it when I SPECIFICALLY asked for those 2 things. Not to mention the sandwich looked like it was something you'd pull out of a kindergarteners lunch box and the bread tasted like it was on it's 2nd day of a grocery store shelf. Generally I wouldn't get so pissed off, but when you are off of a highway where people are making massive road trips and want a healthy alternative to McDonalds or Wendy's it'd be nice if the person working the counter actually would listen to the order, maybe say your name right, and tell you if something is unavailable while you are on the phone with them. If I weren't now 30 miles south I would have turned around and demanded my money back and a gift certificate. I wish I could give 0 stars- poor customer service and shitty food.

Panera bread in general is one of my #1 choices for places to study because of their great coffee/espresso, free wi-fi, and atmosphere. However, I gotta say that this Panera SUCKS for studying. It's in a central location in Augusta and is SUPER crowded all the time. My biggest complaint is the noise. The decibel level is always wayyyy up there between the customer's chitter-chatter and the overly amplified loud-speaker that the employees use to call out orders when they're ready (this thing goes off every 20 seconds). Again, not the ideal spot if you're intending on getting some quiet and peaceful reading/study time in. Also, resulting from the large customer influx, this restaurant tends to get dirty and stay that way throughout the day.

I love this place. The service is great. The sandwiches are always fresh. The soup always tastes fresh at any time of the day. The place is partially clean. My only complain is that they are not fast enough in keeping coffee freshly brewed. But other than everything here is very good.

Amazing food, fast and friendly service. The free wifi is a nice touch. Love all Paneras and this location is no exception!

I love this place. The service is great. The sandwiches are always fresh. The soup always tastes fresh at any time of the day. The place is partially clean. My only complain is that they are not fast enough in keeping coffee freshly brewed. But other than everything here is very good.

Best bread in town, and they give tons of bread away to charity. yummy pastry. their egg souffles are excellent, but you have to get there early, they sell out quick. Good coffe, and free internet. Nice soft chairs.
