For a chain, this place is pretty decent. I had a ribeye (is there any other steak?) and mashed potatoes. These were really good, comparable to Outback or Texas Roadhouse I would say. I also got the stuffed jalapeno poppers which were very good. My friends got the fried calamari (they served a ton of it, also delicious) and stuffed mushrooms (love these). They also had salmon instead of steak (I know, right?) and they said the salmon was amazing. So good that they would readily get fish instead of steak at a steakhouse (I know, right?). The service was friendly and reasonably fast. I would definitely recommend as an alternative to the above mentioned restaurants when outback/texas roadhouse are packed on a weekend.

Can't say anything about the food yet because even tough we have a pager they forgot about our party of 8. And yes we tried making reservations but they wouldn't accept them.

Love this place. This is the first place I think of if I want a steak in Augusta. I love steak there are not many restaurants in Augusta that do steaks justice believe me I have searched. Try the Outlaw. To be fair the only complaint that is justified would be the restrooms granted the restaurant is very busy, but management should check them more often.

I was taken to this Longhorns Steakhouse for my birthday on 6/30/15 @ 7 pm. Upon being sat at our table, our waitress came over to say she was really sorry but it would be a few minutes for her to be back to take our drink orders, because she had all of her tables clear and then reseated all at the same time. I personally have waited tables before at a fine dining restaurant that was far busier and much more demanding than this particular establishment. I'm usually pretty empathetic towards wait staff. But I must be honest, this was really awful service. Her few minutes was literally more than 12 minutes and 24 seconds by at least an additional 4 or 5 minutes. After what seemed to be about 5 minutes or so, without her or anyone else willing to acknowledge us, I started the timer on my phone. At 12 mins. and 24 secs. she finally returned for our drink order. She was a very sweet lady, but the service did not improve at all. She brought out their bread loaf about 7 or 8 mins. after she brought our drinks, and as soon as she walked away another server was there with our appetizer. Then literally not more than a minute went by and she was there with our dinner salads. I truly wanted to still be hopeful that our evening would improve, but unfortunately other than her being very sweet and pleasant and the food being good, the experience was little to be desired. We felt completely unimportant and ignored from the start and then felt rushed from the minute our food began appearing. Our entrees came out almost right behind our dinner salads. Mind you, we had not had time to even enjoy our appetizer OR our salads. When the other server brought our entrees, he got them in front of us and didn't skip a beat. I had the Flo's Filet with a sweet potato and told her when I ordered that I wanted extra butter and cinnamon. When the server dumped our dishes off, I was asking for extra butter and cinnamon thinking he was listening when he quickly turned and walked off as I was speaking to him. It was embarrassing as the table just across from us noticed what happened and giggled uncomfortably for me as I was talking to his back side watching him walk quickly away stunned. Although I never really care to have a big production made over my birthday, my elderly parents wanted her to do something to recognize my birthday. She quickly said, "Well, I don't sing, but I will bring you a dessert." The way she said this, I was unsure if she felt singing was beneath her or just not something that Longhorns does for their guests with birthdays. This was completely fine with me, but the confused look on my mother's face was quite sad. I really love Longhorns Steakhouse. It is one of my favorite places to eat. However, this was a really terrible experience. I gave 2 stars only because the food did taste good. Sorry guys, but this visit was a complete failure. Very, very disappointed.

Great apple cider BBQ ribs. Rack was huge! Stacey our server was great. Not over bearing. Manager came to our table to check on us as well.

Longhorn is a great steakhouse. The wait time can be long depending on the size of your group, but worth the wait. Fridays and Saturdays can be a challenge with the crowd, but better during the weekdays. The menu selection is great and I took advantage of their new Lamb Chops dish. It was wonderful, flavourful, and enjoyable. The establishment is clean, staff is courteous and efficient, and moderately priced. I will keep coming back to Longhorn.

Best steak intown! It's not my first time here , but it has been such a long time. Everything is worth the money you spend. I ordered the Renegade Sirloin 8oz medium with a side of sautéed mushrooms and onions and boy was it delicious( I destroyed it before I thought about a picture )! I tried the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and they were mouth watering (i enjoy mushrooms). And you can't go wrong with the sweet potato with cinnamon and brown sugar. My husband ordered the bacon something (can't remember the name) and truly enjoyed it! I think Logan's has lost a customer. The only critic I have is the raspberry vinegarette was too vinegary (if that's a word). The wait time was not to bad and and the food did not take all day to prepare. The drinks were good can't go wrong with a mojito...my husband had some blackberry jack daniel honey lemonade ( too sweet for his tastebuds, but pretty spectacular to me). Great place to celebrate a birthday, anniversaries, or to celebrate great steaks! Serve was nice as well. I really enjoyed the food and the atomsphere!

Had lunch here today and the service was excellent! I had a small ribeye with baked sweet potatoe and a salad. Very good and meat was cooked as I had ordered. Service was fast! We really enjoyed our lunch!

I recently dined there with my family. The three of us enjoyed our meal. My steak was cooked to perfection and my salad was devine. I don't recall having a better salad anyplace. The service was excellent. I will be going back soon. This is my steakhouse of choice

I live REALLY close, so it is sometimes an easy place to pop into for a meal. Honestly the first thing I think about is the temperature. It's always very warm. Service is fine a bit slow, my last visit my server was actually more helpful than some others in the past when it came to my questions about subbing menu items. I like the fact that they offer veggies- broccoli and green beans. However I dislike the fact they they marinate their green beans in advance. This means I'm not ordering them. Basically it is possible to go in here and get a healthy meal, and it's reasonably priced.

Was here a week ago with the family when they came in Augusta from out of town. Since it was the weekend, it was great that they had the call ahead option so that we could go ahead and put our names down on the list. By the time we finally all arrived and were seated, it was about 9pm (which is good considering there were 7 of us and we had only called ahead 30min before). The only complaint I had was that after we ordered our food and recieved it, it had been an hour. Not all of our order was correct, and unfortunately mine was cold. The manager came by and offered to fix it for me, but at this point I was too hungry to care. He did offer to compensate us for part of my order because of it, which was very nice. Because I had never had a bad experience here, I feel as though it may had been part of the waitress' fault. I still plan to give this place another go before I write this place off my list.

Excellent Food. The steak was seriously the best I have had in a long time. However.... We had the worst server I have come across in a very long time by the name of Renita. There were many issues with her. First, we had asked her for more bread 3 times, til we finally asked someone else, who actually brought it the first time. When we got the bread, Renita looked at it, grabbed it and went storming to the back yelling at someone. Next, we asked for refiles numerous times and finally had to ask someone else, who finally brought me more water. On top of this, her demeanor and presentation was very rude and uncaring. I did let her know this when we got our checks because I only left her a $1.21 tip due to her horrible service. The way she talked to us and approached us was horrible and I would never expect to see such rude service in an establishment like this. Everything was great other than this, and this is the one thing that makes me suggest to others not to go there.

I have eaten at 3 different Longhorns. While not a fan of chain restaurants, I would insert here that Longhorn does do meat well, The steaks and fish are always good. The sides are 'heavy handed' as they opt for gloppy, cheesy creamy things for the most part. I like their Rib-eye, it's always good, as is the salmon, and the prime rib, which, if I am in a truly barbarian frame of mind and gonna splurge, might just as well be that big old end cut prime rib, a baked potato... On this day I tried a small cup of the lobster corn chowder (pass). When will I learn to abide my own rule: "Lobster is a pure food, and as such need not be adulterated in any way"... The soup was thick, gloppy and just reminded me "Don't - I will be disappointed". I also had the 7 Pepper Steak Salad with the balsamic vinaigrette. The meat was tender and nicely done, the salad was a good size, perfect for a man's lunch, with neither too much or too little blue cheese. The other 4 people I dined with enjoyed their lunches too. Service was very good

Good service. I found the steaks not quite as good as an outback. Menue had a pretty good selection.

If you want the best steak you will ever have in your life, then you have to order the outlaw ribeye!!. It is real tender and juicy. The flavors and sauce with the steak make it absolutly delcious. No steak i have ever tasted has come near as good as it is. A coworker who came up from Texas even said its the best steak he has ever tasted. The shrimp and lobster dip is wonderfull as well. Strawberry Lemonade is one of the best i've tasted as well. You dont get that syrupy taste like you might get from other restaurants. Service is always top notch and i always end up leaving a big tip due to the great service that is hard to come by nowadays.

There are MANY choices out there for steak, but when I think of steak, I think of Longhorn. I know I know, I'm supposed to be all about family owned restaurants and Longhorn is clearly a chain. Well, Let me tell you I've eaten at Longhorns in Douglasvile, Hiram, Augusta, Commerce, and probably a few that I've forgotten, and this is the most consistently good and reasonably priced "Texas style" steakhouse I've been to. This location in Augusta used to be my favorite and the best tasting that I've had until I ate at the one in Commerce. It definitely gave them a run for their money. For anyone who hasn't been to Longhorn, its a traditional Steakhouse, big steaks, big silverware, big glasses of tea, and all the fresh baked bread you can eat. I always get the Flo's Fillet. Its a 16 Oz Fillet that is prepared with a sweet honey-like sauce. Its seasoned and cooked to perfection every time. For $16 you get a 16oz Fillet, a large delicious baked potato, salad, that bread I mentioned earlier, and friendly fast service (at this location.)
