I came here recently to get dessert after a great meal!!! I used the drive thru and everything was fine. It was kind of crowded so it was a little wait but not too long. I must say this store needs a makeover because it is really showing its age on the outside. It looks like it hasn't been updated in years!!!! Maybe this will happen soon!!! I ordered a vanilla cone and a Oreo Blizzard. The drive thru attendant was very friendly and even did the upside down test, which he turned the blizzard upside down to show the thickness of the product!!! I'm glad they brought this practice back because at another local DQ they didn't do that and I'm sure that my blizzard would have been all over the floor!!!! It was very runny!!! So I'm happy to see the attendant doing this with every Blizzard that passed through the window. This experience was quite pleasant and stress-free. You couldn't ask for anything more when dealing with fast food!!!!

I've been to this location a handful of times and its good food but the customer service leaves A LOT to be desired. Every visit seems to be a shift of high-schoolers and a college student overseeing them. I cant say that they are rude or unhelpful just inexperienced. I can stand it for the 4 minutes I'm in the drive-thru.

Walked in and stood at the counter for a good bit as multiple ladies walked by and even looked at us a few times. When one girl finally realized we where standing there, she then took our order. Had a coupon for buy one get one, ordered two blizzards & the girl asked which one we wanted taken off (hand to forehead). Another girl had to step in to finish ringing up our order. While waiting for our order to be made the girls (7 team group of girls) where either texting or cleaning. I about died when I watched one girl refill toppings with wet soapy hands. *smh* At that time I decided to read over the restaurant score. (Hand to forehead again) was happy to see a 95, & then quickly turned into unhappy once I saw what was marked off. (You must always read those regardless of the scores, you'd be surprised). Got our food in a reasonable time, got the s'mores blizzard, enjoyed most of it. Too much chocolate bars in it for my liking.

I hate this location. The workers are horrible. Bad attitude abounds. The server working the window, never made eye contact, kept his back to us, leaning sideways to pass out the ice cream. Never. Coming. Back. Drive a mile or two and go to Brusters.

Ordered a medium banana milkshake. Was neither good nor bad - mediocre to be honest. Girl that took my order couldn't stop laughing throughout the whole drive thru process. Obviously something was funny about a Brit buying a banana milkshake on a Tuesday.

Got the flame thrower burger that is suppose to be a double bacon cheeseburger with a hot sauce. It had at best a half a piece of bacon. Ordered a shake and some ice cream with it but they forgot to fill that portion of the order. When we asked about it, they acted like they were doing you a favor to get it for us.

If I could give this zero stars, I would! Hours posted in the window state that the restaurant closes at 10 PM, and the drive-through is open half an hour longer. I pulled up at 9:55 PM, and was refused service. There were workers sitting on the countertop, tabletops, leaning against the walls, and of the six workers that I saw not one offered to go ahead and make the two dollar ice cream cone I requested. When I pointed out the discrepancy in the signage versus what they were telling me regarding the stores hours, the drive-through worker shrugged and closed the window. So be warned: if you go to Dairy Queen on Washington Road, go early. They count on you not being able to read the hours of operation which are clearly posted in the window, and blatantly ignored by staff. I will not go back, and I plan to post on Facebook my experience at this location. I will also post to urban spoon. What an utter disappointment, and horrible customer service experience.

This DQ is bigger and cleaner than the ones in Atlanta-- but the people working are terrible. They are extremely apathetic and don't acknowledge the customer- no "hello" or "next" or "thank you." They would never be hired at a Chick-fil-A. I would not come back to this location, especially considering there is a DQ at just about every exit.
