Wonderful food ... Especially the chef's recommendations. I love this When bad renters hand you lemons....make (very expensive but tasty) lemonadeplace despite it's slightly snooty service that somehow suites the slightly snooty atmosphere.

Solid overall low-key fine dining. Classy atmosphere without being pretentious. The spinach salad was very good- with goat cheese medallions and cranberries with a vinaigrette. I also had bison ribeye with blue cheese croquette potatoes and sauteed asparagus. The steak was well cooked but needed a little more flavor from the sherry jus, the potatoes were excellent. I was pleased, maybe another visit in the future will get me 4 or 5 star excited...

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious dinner here to celebrate our 5th anniversary. He selected the filet mignon and I chose the seafood Parmesan risotto. Both were fabulous and beautifully displayed. They also carry a great wine list, which we enjoyed as well. And of course, wonderful desserts! This is the perfect atmosphere for a fancy date night or just a special meal. You will love it!

Very, very yummy! We ordered the pork chops which were fabulous. The scallop appetizer which was basically a shared appetizer and the cheese plate. Nice date night.

We have been coming here since we moved to Augusta. One of our favorite restaurants in town.

High quality food, great/personalized service, simple but "GOOD" menu makes Cadwalladers our favorite Augusta restaurant to enjoy the right food experience. We love that its' family owned and not a chain. Had the Tilefish and it was truly well prepared along with the seared scallop salad (OMG - GOOD). Kitchen delivered a great meal. Thanks!

Had a wonderful birthday dinner here. The service was excellent, the ambiance was perfect for a nice adult dinner with the hubby, and the food was superb. We ordered crab cakes and mandarin salad for our first course and they were very tasty. For dinner we had lamb chops and the pork chop. The food came in plentiful portions and it was delicious! The prices are what you would expect for this great meal, not too high but not the cheapest meal in town. We can't wait to come back!

This is a special place not only because of the unique (and delicious) food offerings but also the phenomenal service. The menu is very appealing but not overwhelming like some places that have too many options. What they do, they do well. Great for special occasions like Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and other events throughout the year.

My husband and I had dinner here and both enjoyed the food very much. The staff and owner were also very friendly. I would have given them 5 stars except that they only offered 2 red wines per glass despite bragging about their new wine list and they seemed a bit confused as to how to serve their red wines. I was served my glass in a white wine glass as was the table across from me but other tables were served red wine in red wine glasses. The Rutherford Ranch Cabernet started off nice but became very tart as I ate my meal. Perhaps more room to breathe might have helped.

Dinner with my new bride. Absolutely wonderful evening. If you haven't found this sweet spot in Martinez yet, you need to put this on your list. It's been here for a while, but they believe word of mouth is better than advertising... So here my word of mouth to you- you need to to find this place for your special occasion or special evening.

GREAT local, high end place!! Last night I had a starter of crab cakes with a sweet pepper salad. TO DIE FOR. Main course was a petite serving of scallop & shrimp risotto with tomatoes, asparagus and artichoke hearts. TO DIE FOR. Dessert was a raspberry chocolate parfait. You guessed it, TO DIE FOR. Your waistline and budget may bust, but it is totally worth it. If you are out of town (especially for the Masters Tournament) this is a restaurant that you HAVE to try. You won't regret it!

Worse dinner that I ever had. They took my knife away after appetizer, didn't give me a fresh one. Brought my salad out and had no knife to cut my salad. Asked for mojito, they said out of mint. Asked for cabernet, he said ok then never brought me one. I overheard a lady said "we don't even have the glass for cabernet." They didn't bother to tell me that. Ordered my filet mignon, i request to have steak sauce on t he side. The lady said loudly "we don't have it" while the presentation is going. First of all, that was rude. Second, steak sauce should always be an option and not forced. This place didn't open yesterday but this is outrageous. Will not get good review from me. Then I requested to have my dessert to go. The lady brought it out on a plate. I was sitting there with my hands folded and pissed off. The guy came back after 10 min and grabbed it and said he'll make it to go for me. In my head, i was thinking "really?" I'm not going back to this Restaurant. Will not take my colleagues here again. All of us at the table agreed the food was bad. I was so embarrassed bringing my colleagues here.

Time and again, I continue to be impressed at this establishment. My wife and I have dined here for many years and I have never had a bad meal. We recently went for dinner with another couple. We had crab cakes and beef carpaccio for appetizers. I had the bison ribeye and my wife had the rabbit sausage, one of her absolute favorites. The meal was excellent, as always. One of the nicest things about this restaurant is the attention to detail. The service is excellent and the servers are very knowledgeable. The menu changes frequently, as well as the wine selection, making return visits very unique and refreshing. If you are looking for an excellent dining experience in Augusta, you cannot go wrong with Cadwallader's.

I created a Yelp Account just to write this review... Cadwalladers was an unpleasant experience. I tried this restaurant while looking for nice fine dinning in Augusta. This restaurant is NOT fine dinning. The bread was dry and old. The menu was confusing, and went unexplained by the waiter. The lobster in the lobster bisque tasted rubbery, and microwaved. The 'Lamb Trio' was over garnished to cover-up an unappealing presentation. Mismatched favors, and poor cuts of meat made for an uneaten entree. The waitstaff was inattentive and made no inquiry into our uneaten food.... Many restaurants in the area can provide better service and food for half the price.

Food is fantastic, they have a great wine list and the service is the best in town hands down. I had the crab cakes appetizer, the house salad and the filet. Absolutely fit for a king!! Go in and sit at the bar and have drink before sitting down. You really want to soak up the atmosphere first.

Love it! Obviously got the filet mignon and savored every bite. It was a big meal but I couldn't put the fork and knife down. Staff was very friendly and personal. I really like the no cell phones sign on the door. I definitely took mine (cell phone) in and snapped pictures of my breath taking food but made sure it was on silent as to not disturb the other patrons enjoying their meals. I will definitely go again!

I am so happy that Cadwallader's Cafe showed up on Open Table because I would have never known about it otherwise. Hidden in plain sight, this lovely place doesn't look like much from the outside with the older building and faded awnings, but once inside, it was a pleasant surprise. The decor may be a little outdated, but the food is far from it. We enjoyed the crab cake appetizer followed by the bison special and seared tuna. The appetizer came was two crab cakes with house-made remoulade and mango salsa over a bed of mixed greens. They were not overly bready and the crab really shined. My husband's char grilled North Carolina Bison strip loin was a hearty portion of tender meat, sided by smoked Wisconsin blue cheese scallop potatoes, garlic sauteed broccolini, and smoked German ale sauce. My pan seared sesame encrusted North Carolina tuna was cooked perfectly rare (as requested) and was accompanied by garden herb crushed local red skin potatoes, wilted organic spinach, asparagus, Thai basil and black pepper gazpacho sauce. Although we were slightly full, we couldn't resist trying a dessert. I'm not entirely certain of the name, but it was a house-made biscuit with fresh Georgia peaches topped with brown sugar ice cream. It was tasty, though the peaches were slightly under ripe. The fantastic array of flavors within all the dishes proved why the restaurant is 28 years strong. The service was outstanding with the owner popping by to check in on our experience.
