The BEST onion rings in town to me. This is a bar though, so it is a bit loud. Never the less, we usually pick the table right up front looking out the window. Staff is very attentive and come by frequently. We enjoy looking out that front window at the passerbys. And we get to see all the advertisements for bands coming to town, which has lead to us venturing out later to take in the entertainment. Happy hour here is truly happy!

Part of my experience was 5 star part was 3 star so i'll split the difference. They have nice Sunday brunch here with bottomless mimosas for $12.50. I just started my new years diet so was struggling to find something in my calorie budget. This is not a calorie friendly joint but I settled on the blackened salmon salad which was very good. The waitress was very patient and friendly as I tried to figure out what I wanted, and I ultimately went with her suggestion. The one thing I HATE HATE HATE about the place is they allow smoking at the bar right by the dining tables. There are probably many who come there because of this but it gives me headache. Not sure the exact law on this but really gets to me. Overall all though I enjoy the dining experience.

I ended up here by default on a Saturday night. I visited another downtown location with friends, but they shared that they'd already had last call around 12midnight, so we decided to stay local and go to 1102. We hung out in the very, very back bar area, which has a DJ and pool on Saturdays. The smoke was overwhelming, but I'm a team player, so I hung out for a while. The drink specials were decent. They had plenty of seating at the bar and around the pool areas. They even had a dance floor. It was a big crowd and very divey, but if you're in the mood to have fun and discounted drinks with a side of second hand smoke, this is your place. The restaurant area was still open when we came in, so you could opt to stay in the smoke free area and have food and drinks. Parking is available around the building and throughout the downtown area if you don't mind walking.

I've been here a few times, but it never made an impression that was either good or bad enough for me to think about writing a review. For the most part, it is cheap, standard bar food and drinks with a mediocre wait staff. Now I have something to write about! I went on a Wednesday night around 6:30 with a friend. We sat outside then moved inside because no one was coming out to check on us. I approached the cash register because that the only place I could find a waiter, asked for a beer menu, and she returned to the table with 4 menus except the beer menu. It took us literally 20 minutes to get drinks (2 beers) after we'd waited another 20 minutes to order them. The waitress gave me the wrong beer. After that, maybe 30 minutes after we'd received our drinks and did not have our order taken, we decided to go to Whiskey Bar, which we should've done originally. To top it off, the waitress was not nice or apologetic until we had our debit cards in hand telling her we just wanted to pay. The restaurant is dirty and smoky (they allow indoor smoking in the bar area and it just radiates all over the place). I understand that perhaps someone had called in and they were understaffed (this is just a presumption I've made) but a nice attitude would've at least persuaded us to stay for dinner as planned. My recommendation is to the next block to Whiskey Bar. The food, staff, and atmosphere is far better at exactly the same price point.

I went for brunch today with friends. The brunch menu had your standard breakfast items and the food wasn't bad. The service was pretty bad though. I had to ask for a water three times before it was delivered. Other people in my group had to ask for their items repeatedly as well. Service was slow overall and the checks had also been messed up. With all of the other restaurants in town I don't think I'd give this place another try.

This place just doesn't cut it. The number of solid kitchens that now exist behind bars have left this place on a slow decline to oblivion. It might be good for a bar, as the 1 star comes solely from a good location and open bar feeling... but in general, the food is horrible, decor a greasy film covered disaster, and it's just a matter of time before this place has a new name.

I went with my mom during First Friday and had a Cheesesteak Sandwich. It was pretty good. The fries were awesome! I consider myself a potato connoisseur and they were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside just...mmmm.... And the bread pudding was just ridiculously good. My boyfriend doesn't like sweets and he stole my portion while I was in the Loo... Aanywhoo... The service was great. The staff is very alternative looking (tattoos and piercing and such) which I personally like. It would never be my first choice for downtown dining but it would always remain a possibility.

The hubby wanted me to try something different, so 1102 was the place of choice for date night. I like bar & grills but really could have done without the cigarette smoke ambience...even in the "non-smoking" section. He had eaten lunch at 1102 before and enjoyed their burgers. I'm a vanilla ice cream type of person. I usually order the same thing at every restaurant because I know I'll leave satisfied. But this night I wanted to try something other than a burger so I went with the pork chop sandwich...not too far off the beaten path. The sandwich was okay but the fries were awesome and made up for the blandness of the pork chop. Date night was a success......until about 1 in the morning. So I wake up thinking "Oh, I have heartburn! I'll just take some Tums." Nuh-uh. As soon as I start to get out of bed, the nausea comes on strong. My stomach starts cramping something horrible. I run to the bathroom and my gastrointestinal tract rids itself, both ways, of the substances that have contaminated it. I spent the rest on the day in my bed, my bath, and beyond nursing myself with Pepto Bismol. We have scratched 1102 from our dining list. The burgers may be tasty, but stay away from the pork chops.

Brunch is AMAZING! The lunch and dinner menu is ok (my reasoning for 3 stars). I do however love the vibe throughout the restaurant/bar! It's not fancy so you don't have to dress up, really laid back. And they're drinks are good as well. They have a bar/club type thingy in the back and I really enjoy going down there on Friday's and/or Saturday's.

No. Stay away! I am new to Augusta and decided to give this place a try. It's dirty and rundown on the inside and looks like it needs a Gordon Ramsey intervention. We ordered drinks and were then informed they didn't have chicken or beef... Which is the whole menu. The waitress was also unprofessional and didn't seem to have much training. Walk about 100ft down broad and you will find far superior options.

Had the Chef's salad with everything and it was great! The service was excellent, too, with the server asking if I wanted a fresh diet coke in a to go cup. Definitely a good lunch spot. I've also had drinks at the bar when it was much busier, and I also had great service then, too. It was very cold that night, and the bartender didn't hesitate to make me fresh coffee when I asked.

Food was not good. Serves wasn't any better. I've cooked burgers that were at least 4x as good and I couldn't even eat the Mac n' cheese. Pretzels were bland but they didn't screw up the Caesar salad.. Will not be coming back here for food.

10 wings for $8 or 15 for $10. Can't beat that and they aren't those wimpy wings you find at Buffalo Wild Wings. I also love their chicken Parmesan it will concur any hunger. Bacon cheese burger is also a favorite of mine. Bottomless mimosas on Sundays from 12-3. Don't forget the back bar. Great place to go drink dance and play pool. $5 pitchers $3 fireballs!!!

I highly recommend the Bacon Cheeseburger and Crispy Fries!! They are awesome!! I don't know where some of these other reviewers are going, but they are missing out! The Yuengling was nice and cold too!! Prices for the quality of food was awesome - quantity is awesome as well! The burger is seared beautifully, the bacon crispy, the fries are battered and fried to crispy perfection! Nice dill pickle on the side to finish off the dish! This is our lunchtime getaway!

One event can ruin your whole outlook on a restaurant and my experience today at 1102 was the worst and the last time I will dine there. Getting straight to the point they have roaches and I found a roach in my food and the roach was cooked into the food!!!! I am disgusting just typing these words and having to relive this awful experience. This experience trumps all the other ones I have had there and I will never eat here again!!!!!

i feel like 1102 is the applebees of downtown there is not a whole lot to it. I do like the fact they have super cheap beers tho so its one of the things that keeps me coming back.

1102 was a decent enough place for dinner while I was in Augusta for work. Walking in, it appears to be a dive with poor lighting, cigarette smoke and torn vinyl on the booth seats. That said, the service was great and the $2.50 pint of Yeungling was price perfect. For dinner I had the blackened porkchops. Two decent sized chops, mashed and gravy, mixed vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and squash), and two pieces of garlic bread for 9.99. For the price, it was about as good as I could have expected. The food tasted good, came out hot and with a great portion size. I probably wouldn't take my wife out to dinner there, but it was good enough for a beer and a chop.

Visiting from LA and 1102 was recommended by resident. Actually ate there TWICE. Waitress with the tats on both arms and "AND WHAT" on knuckles served us both times. She was very pleasant, friendly and helpful. A/C up to high inside, so we sweltered outside. People watching was great. Attitude Adjustment drinks are THE BEST. First time I had potato skins and they were average at best. Second time I had fajitas with beef, chicken and shrimp. Again, average at best. Price was fair.
