They are now called "The U-Bar". I reviewed the place previously yelp.com/biz/ultimate-sp… I guess they no longer consider themselves a sports bar, so this will be a new review on what is an old place. I can agree it is no longer a sports bar. It is an whatever makes you feel right kinda bar. They still have loud music and videos playing. The servers are still full of attitude and the margaritas are still made with cheap tequila and margarita mix. You can now buy a small pitcher (3 drinks) of margarita, long island or blue mutherfuckers for $11 They also have a bull that you can ride and from what I gather, there are certain nights of the week where you can ride it for a chance to win a couple hundred dollars. While I was there this past weekend, two girls rode it and if I didn't know any better, I would have thought they would began making out on the bull if the crowd would have just cheered them on a little bit. I guess I've just gotten old, and no longer want to go to a spot where I can barely get to bar because everyone is standing around the bar but not placing any orders. The shot girls kept passing by with trays of shots, but who wants to take shots at a place like this, its simpler to just order a drink The $15 cover charge threw me for a loop, because the last time I went it was free entry....and its cash only, so I went to the ATM inside to get cash. $5.99 is the ATM fee in this place. Is that even legal? After about an hour of not being able to order food or take one more rap song blasting an ungodly voulmes I headed out. I do give the place a plus for parking. They really don't care how you are parked, as long as you don't block someone in and can exit without hitting someones car. Another plus for heavy police presence. I'm sure this helps keep down what could surely become a rowdy spot. PS. My daughter says they have $2 Tuesdays.

This Is The Place To Be! If you don't mind a laid back urban sport bar kinda feel then this is your place!! They always have great food specials and good music (RAP) playing! Wings are the best when you pair them with a pitcher of whatever cocktail you like drinking!

My first impression from when I walked in, to me finding a table, I would say "NO". But after awhile it turned out to be a really cool place. It was super crowded in the parking lot so I had to park in the back where it was pretty dark I almost didn't want to park there but then I noticed they had some type of security overlooking the back of the building (don't know if that was intentional or not). One thing I wasn't a fan of was the cover charge--$10 CASH ONLY. Usually I wouldn't pay that but I've never been to Ubar so I said whatever. Luckily I had a 20 laying in my wallet to get me and my homegirl in. Place reminds me of a Dugans just with wwaaayyy more space. The vibe was really chill, well the music was loud, so you will have to yell or talk into people's ear. And I'm not sure if the servers wear different things on different days but they had on these unappealing bustiers. No hate at all--it just didn't look good. You got servers with D cup boobs wearing an A-Cup bustier top. My server, po' baby was a sneeze away from her nipple coming out. Just try to accommodate all sizes lol. I know it can get crazy in a bar but I don't appreciate 3-4 servers walking past me not say ANYTHING or even attempting to assist me. I was about to leave at one point. But I went on Sunday so they had $10 pitchers (NICE!). The pitchers were small but boy were they strong! To make the drink last and not get watered down, I took the ice out the pitcher. Which once I did that I realized the liquor in the pitcher only made 3 full cups of the small cups (8oz cups) but it was STRONG so we didn't care. They have a really nice food menu, it was late when I came so I didn't want to order all that food. Had some of my friend's wings and they were pretty good. Overall, I would come back to this place IF I'm on that side of town again. But I doubt I'll travel out that way to pay a $10 cover charge, just saying.

The new "U Bar" is cool. I've been here before when it was "The Ultimate". The only reason I give this 'almost sports' bar 3 stars is because the music is great and the people are cool as ever, but the parking lot is always atrocious. The patrons are always circling the parking lot find spots. There are always cops at the door whenever you come. The music is always live. I wouldn't really come here to watch any games because it's forever LOUD. Nonetheless, the drinks are just OKAY. They have $11 pitchers of certain mixed drinks but I had the Blue Motherfucker and it wasn't good at all. I hate feeling obligated to do something because I spent $$ on it and won't get my money back. Stick with a beer. If you're lucky enough to get a table make sure you hold on to it or have your friends watch the table! The customers are what makes this place because the folks who work here aren't the friendliest. I do have fun, though. Just make sure you bring your friends.

It's not like me adding another bad review will matter.... They really don't care ... They are cool with being associated poor service.... But at least they are consistently Bad!!!!

Horrible service. Waitress don't get your order right. The wait time is long. Food not that good for the wait

My new favorite spot. Good music with a comfortable atmosphere. And the food that's what's so addictive. FYI They have $10 pitchers and my Long Islands are always on point

Simply put, I'm addicted. Even with the cover, parking shenanigans, and poor hookah, i'm addicted. - If you haven't been around in a while (say over a year) and you still don't know, the Ultimate Sports Bar and Grill is now the newer and improved Ubar, er uh, then now ya know. - The drinks are always strong. - The food is absolutely AM-A-ZING but pricey. Their menu has lots of variety. - Get there early or you will have to wait for a table - or not get one. - Be patient with the wait staff; the girls are hit-or-miss; for the most part, miss - most have attitudes and the culture of Ubar is to flag a waitress down, then wait for the TRUE waitress for your table to come around just to tell you to close your tab with the other waitress, so that you can order from her. I think the coined term these days is 'Ratchet' within urban culture. - They have THE worse Hookah I've ever had in Atl...it's very dry, very very dry..terrible. Their Hookah is the only negative I give this place. - Bathrooms, par for your avg bar/club/restaurant in Atl - DJ's are ALWAYS on point (that's good!), but the music is really too damn loud....really. - They do charge a $10 or $20 cover ($20 on Thur - Sat I believe, but best to call) after the Sun hides her pretty little face (again, better to call) - Parking is a bitch....but stick with it; once u get inside and have a drink or 2 (i suggest the margarita pitcher) you'll be aaaaaaalllriiiiiiight! - Ubar is a part of the Atl Hip-Hop Bar & Club Ring (I made that up myself!!), so you'll see guest celebrity and celebreality appearances from time to time, and is also a sponsor for 107.9 FM in Atl/Hampton, GA - so their DJ's will host often. - The bull ride is a spectacle to watch - the ladies that attempt the bull ride are a spectacle to watch, though after a few of their drinks, you will be so into your zone that you won't notice it. - The police presence makes you feel safe, not paranoid. I've been there one night when there when security had to rush them out. It was awesome - they got the job done swiftly and with minimal disturbance to other patrons. A few con's, yes...but this is one of those places that you go to with one of your best friends or with your love-bug and have a blast. You do not go here for a good atmosphere filled with great customer service. If you aren't already in a good head space, in an upbeat positive mind-frame, Ubar probably won't help you get there. Ubar is no picker-upper.

Do not go here if you are not black. I say this as a black woman. I took my friend (who is caucasian and very open minded to everyone and everything) and she was severely mistreated and subjected to racism. The servers made comments to her that were so inappropriate and treated her horribly. As a black woman who has experienced racism on many occasions in life, I can not condone an establishment that is racist against ANY ethnic group. I hang with a variety of different people from all different sexes, races, and sexual orientations...so glad I didn't bring any of my other friends! All we wanted to do was get some drinks and she wanted to ride the bull. I was so disgusted we left after one drink. Furthermore the atmosphere is the most unpleasant. Horrible parking, it's clear there's no rhyme or reason to how the tables/venue is worked as far as the servers are concerned, one drink order from order to the close of the tab took 1 hour and 45 mins. Most of the servers are hood boogers. I get that this is a bar and not supposed to be an upscale experience, but it was beyond low class and horrible. I'm straight. They couldn't pay me to come back let alone drive into the parking lot of this establishment!

My first dive into the Urban experience and it was good. The music was a bit on the loud side, so holding a conversation was nearly impossible. The waitresses were friendly and outgoing. But, I am not sure about the mechanical bull????

What a bummer this shows up on YELP as three different restaurants but it's the same place, walk in smells like a bathroom and gangsta rap at max volume , loved their menu on line that's what I went their for , but no way walked out never going back

The worst service, experience I ever had! I came with my group of lady friends and literally sat there for 30minutes and no one acknowledge us none what so ever. We have to walk up to the bar to get our own drinks sat back down still nobody acknowledge us. 30minutes or more later we have to grab a waitress that was cleaning a table next to us and asked her for menus...ordered food they came back with no utensils or napkins and the waitress that helped us went to jump on the bull. No one acknowledge us, this was around 10pm to 1130 on Saturday. I felt that the workers was too busy having fun and yes I saw them drinking. I like the atmosphere but I'm not going back to this place ever.

Name and owners changed. Now called the U Bar. Music is too loud. Drinks are overpriced. Bar service is ok, but waited service...nah ah. I swore I would never go back since one of the waitresses stole my credit card info and bought a plane ticket back in 2010 (WTF!), but I gave the new "U Bar" the benefit of the doubt only to find out that its still not worth it. I never plan to go back there. I wish there were more bars on Camp Creek pkwy.

I completely agree with Slim M. This place also gets a 0 from me. Our flight came in late and we were looking for a place to eat, four of us to be exact; 2 guys, 2 girls. We've heard on the local radio station that UBar had their famous country boiled seafood bucket. Additionally, the radio host said that he was hosting a $1,000 bull riding contest, ladies free before midnight, gentlemen $10 cover charge. Okay, the guys were willing to pay since they might enjoy the atmosphere. As we arrived, parking was horrendous! People were parking illegally, smoking weed in their car, and loitering around the parking area. I was sure our car would've been broken into if we went in to eat. Thankfully there were a lot of police officers roaming the area and the front entrance. We felt relatively safe and decided to go eat. Before the front door, the police/security checked our IDs, after him was this greasy looking man collecting cover charge, we gave him a $20 for the guys, and asked for a table for 4 since we'll be eating dinner. He looked at us and said it was $40 total. Excuse me?! It's not even 11pm; your website and radio host said ladies FREE before midnight. I told him that and took out my phone to show him their own website. He nodded, and said, "Okay, okay. I'm going to do you guys a favor and let you all in for $20." What the?! Was he high?! What kind of crap was he smoking on?! Doing us a favor?! We're here giving your crappy, ghetto looking establishment business and you're doing us a favor?! Hah! What a joke! He took the $20, and opened the door for us. Once inside, the place was packed. No more seats left, not even ones at the bar. We asked the hostess if she would add our name on the waitlist and give us a call when a table opened up. Waited for 25-30 minutes, still no table, no food, only alcohol drinks on an empty stomach. I was too hungry and pissed off to even watch the bull riding contest. If you know that there weren't any table available, why take our money then?.... greedy bastard. I hope this place goes out of business.

0 stars is what this place got from me. (Yelp, please add that as an option.) Atrocious does not EVEN begin to explain my experience tonight. Oh my god, I can't believe a place like this exists. Goddamn. To begin, like so many others have said, parking is ridiculous. There is NOWHERE to park and there will be a long line of cars waiting for a space right along with you. Once you do find a spot, you go wait in a long line to get inside (which really should have been a cue for me to leave, 'cause what the hell?) I knew this place was awful because of the idiotic, loudmouth, aggressive people hanging out in front. And no kudos to the pervert officer/security guard standing to the side smiling at every young woman's ass/titties while grown men stand inches from each other's faces cursing and screaming like lunatics. The music was at a level 20 on a scale from 1-10. For a bar. A "bar". Bar is used extremely loosely; this place is no bar. It's more like a gathering spot for young urbanites that don't require much of anything to enjoy themselves. I couldn't hear myself think inside this place, it was so damn loud. Once my friend and I were inside, we literally took a couple steps and could not move. Few more steps, could not move. TOO. MANY. PEOPLE. I pray they never experience a fire or a deranged killer, 'cause multiple people would be hurt and/or trampled to death. It's actually dangerous with how many people were inside. We stood near the bar (in which the seats had been taken up by people who were no longer ordering drinks but just needed a place to sit down at this point), and we waited for 30+ minutes and watched about a million people swarming around like insects in this extremely undersized room. No one ever took our drink orders. We tried squeezing through the crowd to find a table and never did. We spotted the weak "VIP" section, which was a complete joke. A vertically challenged, muscled-up dude protected this "VIP" section with all his miniature-sized heart. At this point, I'm done... we slowly make our way towards the exit, but not before a tall, older guy decided to grope my friend's ass and rub against me while smiling and looking all kinds of predator-ish. This is why I need a gun. Asap. Finally, we're out in the parking lot. I looked back at the door and could not, for the life of me, understand why ANYONE would consider this place fun or a great place to chill .25 hot wings/$2 drinks? Damn that. It's not that serious. This bar/club/hang-out spot/standing ovation room should be shut down until the brain-dead owners can figure out that there kinda needs to be a CAP on how many people can occupy this place at once. FIRST and LAST visit!

This is my 2nd time going to this place. My GPS had me down the street by the Walgreens (not The Ultimate's fault, I don't think lol). So when I got there, I was in dire need of a drink. My friends were already there and had ordered a pitcher of margarita for $10 (yes, a pitcher for $10). It was good, not watered down at all! I didn't want to drink it all so I saw my favorite drink on the menu and ordered: a pineapple upside down martini. I've ordered this drink from another location before and they didn't make it right. And they didn't make it right here either. But, I didn't make a big deal out of it. We came there for bull riding. It's $5 for 2 rides. I forgot to get cash out but they had an ATM in the place. There's a $3.99 service charge. $4 charge and I only need $5? No thank you. So I did not ride the bull. My friends did though and they were thrown off quickly lol. However when the waitresses got up there to right, the bull seemed a lot more tamed....hmmmmm........Anywho, I had the cheese sticks. And they were cheesesticks lol! My friends seemed to be enjoying their foot though. From what I hear, the shrimp and grits were really good. I've had the wings and they're good also. I was a little disappointed because I usually go here if I want to meet a guy cause they seem to populate this place but they sure weren't there last night. Maybe because it was a Thursday, I don't know. All in all, if this place still had a location 10 minutes from my house, I'd be there. But since this is all the way on the other side of town, I probably won't frequent as much.

Here's my review. I came to your "Ultimate" establishment. First of all, your hired pigs outside are terribly nasty, and I wanted to call out your scumbag security pigs before even going in and going on an anti-police tirade. Secondly, $20 for entry? What a joke! Just because it's in a newer retail building shared with a dentistry practice doesn't instantly make it amazing, and your mechanical bull shouldn't magically make my Yuengling $2 more.. outside the perimeter. So what? At these rates, you'd think were downtown. Third, take women off their imaginary pedestal. Even right now just looking at the photos, EVERY photo is just girls, girls, girls. Good job, and I know this is one of the reasons why women are such bitches these days. Seriously, I've been to a gay bar before and hooked up with a woman much more easily, AND she didn't whine the whole time while playing on her cell phone, demanding I buy her things... and not thank me afterwards (does this sound familiar, guys?). Fourth, the music played is the same songs everywhere. It's just louder. Lose the song- the one with the same words over and over that say "I don't give a fuck about you". Really? ...and people dance to that? You can expect to see things continue to go downhill in a culture that hoists trash like this to the top. Count on it! All in all, I left very angry, and it was a long drive home alone. I'll stick to my faithful little dives where I'm known, and I don't have to pay extra to hoist up a sports-obsessed, sick culture while also continuing my search for a black girlfriend. Fuck the NFL! Read a book! Learn about your government. --- Oh, almost forgot... No one eats here. Forget the steak and seafood gimmick.

I went this past weekend to watch the final four game and it was packed! I've been once before but this time was the best. It is a very mixed crowd.. older guys and various aged girls but the atmosphere is cool and can get a little sexy with the bull ride. On Wednesdays ladies who can stay on the bull the longest win a little change. If you're gonna be near the airport its worth a trip.

Recently went last Saturday "club night" & the entire staff is RUDE from the unhappy security guard at the door to the bitchy unprofessional bartenders to the inexperienced waitress'..all of which should strive to DO BETTER!! The bartender TRIED to charge me $11 for a drink but I overheard him charging a lady $11 for a whole pitcher ..I said Hellllll No! She paid $11 for a Long Island pitcher give me a Grateful Dead pitcher ! (Almost the same drink basically, just different color) !! No tip for his ass, trying to jugg me.. I don't even TRY to order food, as stated b4 the staff act so rude as if they dnt want want you to ask them anything so guess what I won't & ill save my money I would recommend this spot if all other options fall through this can b your "plan D" back up spot but after 1 hour & you can't walk anywhere or sit anywhere or get any service (they ignore you tapping them and u can't call them over the music is super loud) you'll wish you didn't waste your time. Parking alone will make u reconsider & starting yelping other options. Tip: Don't get jipped by the light skin male bartender! Eaves drop if you have too! 2nd visit, I won't visit again but visit at your own risk

I went to the Ultimate in hopes of watching the Falcons win and eating some good food with some good service in the company of good people. I accomplished two of these goals: the Falcons won and I was with some great people. I thought the food here was going to be good. Nope. It was not. We ordered fried green tomatoes, chicken fingers, honey barbecue boneless wings, chz sticks, mac and chz and corn on the cob. In my opinion, nothing was good. That's a crying shame. The mac and chz had no salt in it. What? In fact, nothing was seasoned right. We were all looking around like wowsers, this is nasty. The service was not good either. Our waitress had to be asked several times to refill drinks and our food took entirely too long to get to us after being ordered. It wasn't even that busy. I strain to understand why they added gratuity on a party of four. Also, the food costs are way too much. Everything was at least a dollar more than it should have been. I probably won't be returning here. I need the food to taste good. It didn't. However, they do have ample televisions for watching the games, with two side by side super large screens for good viewing. Also, the sweet tea was pretty good. Still, this is not enough to bring me back here.

If I could rate this place a negative star, I would. I tried them for the second time after going there two years ago and getting seated and waiting 30 minutes and never getting waited on. My friend and I couldn't even hear ourselves speak it is so loud in there. The music is louder than going to a night club. That is ridiculous. We had to text each other to decide to leave after waiting. Do you think anyone asked us why were were leaving? NO! Well, i tried again with my pregnant bff last month. Big mistake. This time they weren't even crowded-25 customers max and most at the bar. We decided to sit outside and eat. Once again, no one came to wait on us after 15 minutes. I finally tracked someone down and he said ok. He didn't apologize for the wait or offer to find our server. After waiting ten more minutes, we went across the street to Red Lobster. I will never recommend this place to anyone, not even a starving RAT!

I had a GREAT time @ The Ultimate Bar & Grill. I went on a night when it was VERY crowded, packed to the max because of the Falcon's playoff game. However, I still enjoyed myself. Since my girls and I didn't arrive early, we had to stand for a while, but eventually some nice gentlemen offered us their seats. The DJ was on point and the boneless chicken wings I had were also good. My best friend and I both agreed that they have the cutest guys we've ever seen in one spot. I wish they had a dance floor but it's cool, I don't mind dancing @ my table. We can't wait to return! The only thing that turned me off was my server. She wanted the money for my food before the food even came out to me. Are you serious? I really didn't like that. I understand bringing the check out with the food but before it even comes out??? Then after my food came out she kept pestering me every 5 minutes asking did I want anything else. She was pretty annoying. But other than that everything was good like I stated before, just don't get her. I don't remember her name but I think she was about 5'5, petite, brown skinned with dreads. Oh yeah, if you go on a night when it's packed like I did, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT park at the Taco Bell because they will tow you! My friend and many others were towed. I don't know where they expect you to park when all of the parking is taken but just make sure you don't park there. I parked there but got lucky :).

There is really no theme at this place. It's a combo, night-club, diner, lounge, sports bar and I don't even know what! I liked it though. There was live music the night I went. Yes the music was loud and the service was a little slow, they were very busy, but all in all I think I would totally go back next time I'm in town. Maybe I'll have breakfast with my margarita next time?

Visited on two separate occasions, both on Thursday and Saturday night. No cover charge. I never really read the menu, so I haven't ordered any food there yet. I had a Grey Goose and Cranberry that was mostly Goose, so I would say that the drink service at the bar is decent. They have a mechanical bull for the ladies, so if you and your girls are looking to do something exciting for the night, it's a start. It seemed like they had a VJ instead of a DJ, who played music videos on several TV screens. However, they don't have the biggest dance floor. Parking is definitely one of their major problems. The worst situation is you could end up parking across the street in the Camp Creek Marketplace, or at the hotels behind the bar and grill. It gets packed during game nights and other televised entertainment events, so plan accordingly. All in all, they provide a decent experience for that price range. I will visit again.

HELL NO to this place. Whether its the Ultimate Bar or the UBAR. I was a patron twice when it was the Ultimate and both experiences were horrible from management on down. I figured what the hey I will give this place another try since they are calling themsleves the UBAR now. I am sure it has changed for the better...NOT! I called at 12:30 pm today just to ask a few questions because I was actually about to throw a large bone their way. A Party of 30 working class people to be exact. I called and was immediately put on hold when I very politley asked to speak to a manager regarding the changes to the place. That lasted ohhhhhhhh about 6 minutes. Then another girl picked up and I asked if she was the manager. Her response was nawwww. I asked if I could speak to one. Her quick response was he aint available and hung up. I am sure they won't miss my business. Should have been a zero!

In a nutshell...warmed over food. 1, Luke warm, twice cooked crab legs that LOOKED as if they were on their second presentation. A fresh claw was mixed in for proper deception. 2. Burnt and dried out baked potato....sent back. A fresh one was delivered much later. (NEVER received the requested sour cream). 3. Video music increased a whole decibel by the half hour to the point where conversation with friends was virtually impossible! I doubted the place when the invitation was offered to join friends there for Girls Night. Unfortunately, my expectations were confirmed. I left early. I found out later that my friends quickly followed suit. A waste of money and time for ladies who simply wanted a crab legs - girls night out in OUR community.

I wanted to see what the hype was about and I'm a try to be very fair in my analysis. Came to this place for happy hour and stayed through a majority of the evening. The happy hour (if you live on the southside is a good look). $2 drinks is a deal in my book! (not watered down either) $6 scrimp (yea i said it "scrimp" vs shrimp) isn't a bad deal to sober up to. The food was ok, (not great, not bad) but for what I saw on the entree side, might as well go to a nice restaurant. Crab legs was a lil heavy in water and seasoned salt. The atmosphere was definitely 25 and up. This place isn't all that big so come early is a huge recommended. The music is what it is... (got to be in the mood for it). However, a sports bar SHOULD NOT have a VIP section. Charging a cover is a nice hustle but for a sports bar? I guess you have to make your money somehow in a trying economy. This is Fraternity and Sorority central (not my kinda crowd). Would I be back again? Sure! Did it live up to the hype? It was ok, nothing spectacular If I lived in Gwinnett or Dekalb, is it worth making the drive to? Not in my book. Overall Grade: B-, B Happy hour prices gave the bump up to 3 stars

If your looking for straight HOOD and just no one dancing and just people standing around, then you found the right place. BORING place!! So we go on a Saturday night 03/15 and the food was terrible, just slopped together onto a plate, drinks were bland, watery, they have Hookahs with only TWO flavors and a mechanical bull that NO ONE would ride but maybe because it was still "early" 1030pm and still no bull riding. They start charging at the door at 10 and if you have been there since before ten, they will charge you to walk back in so once your in, your stuck in there. SInce we arrived early, we had a table but at 9pm they start asking you to leave the tables because their going to start charging for bottle service (knowing everyone was not spending money on no bottles) at the tables so from sitting we were standing. If your looking for dance music and want to party, this is not the place. The experience at the bar was horrible. So the young bartender girl at the back bar puts together a drink without measuring the liquor, completely over pouring and then slams the pitcher drink special on the bar top and its clearly leaking and the pitcher is slit. So we tell her its slit and leaking all over the bar top, she literally takes the pitcher and grabs another one and just throws the drink into another pitcher and then slams it on the bar top again and its still leaking. We cleaned the bar top for her and did not leave a tip. Complained to the manager who offered us free drinks after that but we were good, didn't want anymore drinks from that bar!!! Everyone I looked at had a shit look on their face, bad attitudes, no one was smiling or enjoying theirselves and if they were, they have a funny way of showing it. Getting eyed up and down, its just not a fun party place. I did ride the bull and that was fun but just to go do that, its not worth it. I will probably never come to this bar again. Have Fun! (yeh right)

Stopped at this place for lunch after leaving FedEx Office a few doors down. I'd heard good things about the happy hour, and figured it wouldn't hurt to try a new place out. To start, grabbed a 32oz beer, shot of Patron, and bowl of gumbo. Outside of the fact that this place is overpriced ($26 for these 3 items), the food's just...sorry. I enjoy going out to eat, though I'm an avid cook as well. I've never made, nor eaten, gumbo that was bitter. I'm not even 100% on how you make chicken & seafood gumbo bitter...but I digress. $18 for a catfish platter, $14 for a steak salad,$7 for soup, $6 for a slice of cake......seriously? I can see why this place was near empty on a Sunday, in a high traffic area...while so many other businesses a stone's throw away had lines & wait times. They're noticeably higher than Longhorn Steakhouse (where I ended up going for lunch)....

DON'T EVER COME TO THIS PLACE!!!!! This place has the worst customer service EVER! If you come here you will be ignored. If you manage to finally get a seat you'll be ignored. If you finally manage to get noticed by a waiter they will be rude and tell you that you can't take your food home. Then they will ignore you. The music is too loud. This place is poorly managed. They're cheap. Their wings are pretty decent. Too bad you have to wait an hour to taste them. I've tried several times to give this place a chance. I'm done! THEY COULDN'T PAY ME TO COME BACK. Never again. If you value your time, and want to eat in a place where the servers are respectful and you can have a conversation with whomever you came with, DON'T COME THIS PLACE!!!!!! I implore you...heed my WARNING!!!!!!!!

This was my Tuesday spot but after my last visit I think I need to find a new spot. We (wife, mother, kids and sister) got there before the after work crowd so I figured we would be in and out. The place was want busy at all. We sat ourselves and were given menus. It didn't us long because we came for the wing special but no wait staff came to take our order. There were several waitresses huddled up talking about everything but work. When a waitress came over her attitude was as if we were bothering her. After being in the place for over 45 mins we finally got our food. At no time did anyone come and ask if we needed anything else or how we were doing. After several great times at this place, this 1 bad experience did it for me.

The food was horrible and this was the most country hood place I've been in a long time. Just go across the street to JR. Crickets and save yourself the trouble.

We called ahead of time on a Friday nite and were told they were open til 4am. Got there at 1 am no one at the door to greet or seat us. After waiting a few mins we seated ourselves (party of 5) after another 10 mins they finally came to clean the table and give us a menu.... Let's just say this... We won't be back.

I have been to this place twice. Once on a Monday after playing a round at College Park, and once on a Wed. after playing a round at Wolf Creek. Much like the other reviewers stated the wait staff can take a little while to seat you and the food does take a minute to come out, but in my case it was not anything extreme. The first time I went I had a chicken Quesadilla which to my surprise was huge and very very very good. The second time I went which was a couple of weeks ago I had the BBQ bacon 3 cheese burger. The burger was big, juicy, and great. I will go back again, however it will only be early because according to the reviews it gets worse at night.

The worst establishment in the world! It never fails that every experience I had at this place has been super bad. Honestly I was expected bad customer service because its the only thing these people get right. Since it had been a couple of years and my bf stays closer to this joint than my favorite spot we decided to grab a late night snack and couple of drinks. First off bartender is the same dude from a few years ago and I remember him plan as day b/c he lacked any customer service skills what so ever. He first off told my bf that somebody was sitting there when clearly it was 6 other stools available. The dude who was originally sitting in that area wasn't even concerned about that particular stool as nearly as much as old boy was b/c he was up socializing like you do at a bar but anyway that was like water roll off our backs. The super bad bartender then ask the couple that sat down after us if they would like menus and drinks but I guess since we sat down first it didn't mean anything. Ok still wasn't tripping because ignorance is to be ignored. Night goes on order some wings and couple drinks. Super bad bartender was like what flavor wings you ordered again I said hot and can you just make that to go. He was like they already ready been made but remind you that he just told me he didn't put in the flavor. So he goes back and regardless of my request he brings them out anyway. However what I'm about to tell you will blow your mind because it sure did blow my mind. So we ordered a couple shots after dinner and low and behold I'm about to go in for the home team and I see something floating in my glass. Immediately I thought it was the lime but as I examined closer I noticed it was two yeah I said two dead flies in my glass. One thing I despise is bad service and flies, but I got it all in one night. Then we informed the manager he decides the best way to handle this situation is by looking for the employer who poured our drinks. No apology, no immediate solution, no nothing. Instead of being a manager he passed the torch to the super bad bartender and look for him to resolve his on problem. We did get our money back for the drink but no apology from the manager or the super bad bartender. Oh it was karaoke night and the bootleg dj was downloaded karaoke from YouTube talk about poor audio. For all the cheap welled liquor they sale I'm sure they can afford to bring in real karaoke professionals. I will never I mean never ever ever you couldn't give me a million dollars to go back in that joint I would rather have my sanity. Owners better drop in this place real fast and make some serious changes.

Well, I finally got to eat inside on a Tues! I ordered the 25 cent honey bbq wings and surprisingly, they were perfect! I also ordered a side of fries whch looked terrible but tasted good. Btw, luv the ranch they serve. I believe for 2$ you can get house vodka, tequila and something else I forgot. They come in small plastic cups of course. Place was not as packed b/c it was raining cats and dogs. I can appreciate the wide bar, chandelier, high tables and music videos/games being shown. Too bad it's so far from me.

WOW!! Were do I start?? My sister and I went here for my 21st birthday (well it was the day after). We got in the resturant at 6:30pm (Saturday). There was not alot of people there so we just knew we would be in and out within 1hr and 30mins. HAHA!! WRONG!! We ordered alcholic drinks (one each) BE CAREFUL!!! THERE ARE NO PRICES ON THE DRINKS ON THE MENU!!!! I ordered chicken wings, mac and cheese and collarad greens and my sister ordered soup. IT TOOK THEM 1hr and 15mins to give us food!!!!!!! The waitress hardly check on us and when my sis complianed to the MANAGER that we waited so long he didn't care and was RUDE!! OH IT GETS BETTER!!!! It was 8:00pm and the place was packed because they were showing the Alabama and LSU game. We were finished and waited 20 more minutes for the check. We had to flag her down for it and when we got our separate checks, ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE!!! The drink cost $9 (too much). My sis's check was for 20 FU@KING dollars and mines was (drum roll please) 33 mutha fu@king dollars!!! They tacked on not one, but TWO TAXES, a GRATUATITY FEE, and OVER charged me for some damn chicken wings!! I NEVER heard of a gratuatity fee for TWO people. When I asked why, the waitress said its because you stayed to see the game. I BLEW THE F@CK UP!!! I was there BEFORE the game and y'all took extremely long!!! And TWO TAXES?? WTF????!!! NO!!! Never AGAIN!! On the receipt I wrote "I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS OVERPRICED PLACE!!!" I hope this place shuts down!!!! 1 star is way too much!!!!

I am utterly appalled at the professionalism of the staff at this establishment! I was there last night (May 15,2012) and was basically made out to be a criminal after my waitress accused me of walking out on a $35 tab! My total bill was $7 and she only confessed to "remembering" that I gave her my money upon my departure and that she falsely accused added a tab that didn't belong to our table. This was following piss poor service of which I never received my beverage or final ticket. This was unfortunately my first and last time there!

Got there way to early to still have to stand in a long line and after getting in, NO Where to sit! Food was average and not worth the price, the drinks were happy hour price at $2, which I guess would be good if you are a drinker in which I'm not! Can you believe they even had the nerve to have a VIP section and you can get out of the long line if you are willing to pay to get in, I thought it was a bar & grill restaurant, Not a club!!!!!!!!WTF

This place is hot! We celebrated our Fraternity's 103rd birthday there and they made us feel like celebrtities! The DJ was hot, the waitresses were hot and the food and drinks were great! $5 Patron Shots ALLL NIGHT LONG! Drinks are $11.00 a pop.

I stopped here on a saturday night after someone recommended this place to me. Went in early enough to get a good seat because i heard it gets crowded and it did. Saturday's are hip hop night and I really enjoyed the music. Some non hip hop fans may have to visit on another night. Ordered some wings and crabcakes; the waitress mixed up my order and i received crab-legs instead. I am so glad she mixed up my order, the crab legs were off the chain. The wings were very good and the food overall was excellent. I would recommend anyone on the southside check out this place. This is some of the best food I have had from a sports bar ever. I highly recommend the ultimate sports bar grill.

I've been to the Ultimate on a few occasions. While not bad, it was nothing special either. The best way to sum it up. Good parking, loud music, okay food, plenty of drink specials and pretty waitress.

I've been to this location twice- once with a large group and a second time with two other people. We were charged as if we had 100 people, service was not good and atmosphere sucked. Two times was enough I will not be back.

I have a pretty broad vocabulary however this place sucks!!! Service - sucked, Food - was average at best. This place makes me not want to try anything in the area. I live far north (other side of Alpharetta). Had to flag waitress down just for the menu. So just imagine what I had to go though. Staff acted like the were from another planet!!! Just ugghh!!

The Ultimate Bar and Grill is a great place to meet up for lunch and and an even better spot to meet at night. After hearing so much about this place from friends I decided to lunch there with a coworker. The seatings were plenty, the decor was nice, the wait staff was friendly and they left us alone to eat. The price was also good on my wallet. They serve dine in and take out steak and seafood and the portions were just right. I had the calamari and it was cooked well (not chewy). There's a small patio area out front if you prefer to eat outdoors. There were many HUGE flat screen televisions on the wall all tuned in to sports channels for the sports fans. I've heard its a nice place to be on weekend nights because the atmosphere is just wonderful. I'll have to find out some day soon. They're usually open until 2am.

This place is horrible. No daiquiris what kind of mess is that. and you actually have to look for your server because we were immediately seated but no one took our order for 10 minutes.

They should change the name to horrible service sports bar. I went with a party of 3 on a Saturday afternoon and there was no hostess so we started to seat ourselves until the server/waitress walked by and rolled her eyes and told us to follow her. For most people that would have been enough to turn around and walk out but we were hungry, so we ordered food. I ordered the chicken and waffles and was told that it takes 20 minutes to cook a waffle thoroughly, I should have known then that I needed to leave but we waited 1 hour for a waffle that was so cold that the butter would not melt and horrible service, the server never refilled our drinks. Do yourself a favor and skip this place!

I will never step foot in this place again. We went in on a Friday Night around 10:30 or so. We waited and waited and waited to be seated. We were told a table was ready for us but about the time the waitress got ready to seat us the table was no longer available? What the hell? Ok, I'm like baby lets give it 10 more minutes. Much to my surprise the waitress tried to seat another party (Party of 6) that arrived after we did. My girlfriend quickly spoke up and got into a verbal altercation with the waitress and we departed. The music was nice, the venue is nice but thats about it. The service totally sucked ass. It proably will be a nice spot to hang out with better management and better service.

This is my first time trying this spot. I was aware of the one on Candler Rd but never have been. I was seated as soon as I entered the door. And after seating everything went downhill. After the waitress first introduction it was 15 min before she returned. I ordered a water and ice tea. She returned with the water but no tea. The atmosphere was nice for a sports bar plenty of big screens and the DJ was playing some upbeat music. After about thirty minutes in the waitress returns to the table(still no tea) and takes my order. I remind her the second time for the tea. So while Im waiting I begin reading the reviews on the place. I should have checked them before walking in. Well the reviews were honest and to the point and I was experiencing the same terrible customer service as I was reading the reviews. There were two tables of people that were overheard discussing problems with there bill. Be warned the add 18% gratuity to for tables of four and more. Also if you purchase an item that is a special gratuity is added to that. After about 45 mins of no food and only a water I decided to depart this location without any food. So because of that terrible customer service I cant rate the food.

This place is usually ridiculously packed and the music is loud as hell, but it's good music (if you're in the right mood) The coordinating videos playing on big screen is really cool too. I'm actually NOT a fan of this "hip hop" as we know it today, but I actually enjoyed myself. The food/drinks are good bar food, but I hate the staff. I just kind of think if you're responsible for seating people you should have enough brain cells to at least vaguely remember the people you seat, especially if they tell you they're expecting 1 more and the place is not that damn big. I asked for my party (cause I was told WAIT TO BE SEATED) and was told with a scoff: "I'ont know, issabunchagroupsagirls he-ya" Well get the hell out of my way then! I found my party and looked around and there were NO other groups 3 women, but whatever. Our server also sucked ass. We literally searched for her for 30 minutes for our bill AND asked others to get her. Finally we left, somehow her ass was right there in the parking lot chasing us down within 30 seconds. That kind of pissed me off. Not because I have a problem paying, but because WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN ALL NIGHT? Plus I didn't like the fact that gratuity was included on the bill (it was only a party of 4) and she neglected to mention that when I asked her to break a bill for her tip. Once I realized gratuity was already in there and asked for it back, she got a little pissy. That exchange rubbed me the wrong way. I liked this place, enough that I would go back if someone else was dead set on going but the service issue is a big deal for me so fortunately I don't live anywhere near close enough to frequent this place because I'd probably sell myself out and return.

HOOD to the max. I know people are going to call me a hater for this. This spot is right in my neighborhood and you know I had never been so a group of friends and I decided to go. They have $2 drinks on Fridays from 4 pm to 9 pm and $6 shrimp baskets. We actually had a good time, but it is so hood. I wish that it wasn't so packed and they could use a dance floor. It's like you have this great hood music but you have to dance in your chair or at your table. The food was okay, I mean this isn't a place you go to eat good, you need just enough to coat your belly for the drinks. The drink I had was terrible (a key lime martini) overpriced and too strong. Okay so guys there were alot of beautiful women there but ladies the men were nothing special. All looked broke so if you are single and ready to mingle this may not be the best spot well not for the ladies anyways a good looking guy with a job would clean up. Okay I'm done now.
