Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for High Cholesterol

Keep your pizza intake to one slice to avoid high cholesterol intake while you dine at Pizza Hut. Skip Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice as it contains a high amount of fat and the sodium levels are also very high. Avoid the desserts section completely to limit the fat and sugar intake. I ordered for pickup from this spot and I really have no complaints my pizza was great. When I ordered the lady said it would be 20 minutes and my pizza was ready on time. I also ordered the honey bbq wings also which where on point. If your going to order anything from this spot the best thing to do is call in your order because they do not have a reliable delivery person , it says "now hiring delivery position" right on the door.

This Pizza Hut is quite possibly the worst location I have ever dealt with. On the upside at least they are consistent with disappointing me. Yesterday, my roommate and I decided to give Pizza Hut another chance and try out their new "Flavor of Now" Menu. We ordered online and the tracking started the hour long count down until delivery. Somehow, your competitors can manage to deliver a hot, tasty pizza in less than 30 minutes, yet you cannot. Over an hour later our pizza arrived cold, soggy and looked nothing like what we ordered. I imagine for most of that time it was sitting in the back of a delivery vehicle since the North Avenue location is only a half-mile from my house. I can walk there in 10 minutes; it's less than a 3 minute drive! As a nice bonus to this all, they assumed that tin foil would function better than an actual marinara sauce lid. *Spoiler Alert* it did not. Never again.

Worst delivery ever. I ordered around 11 pm, my pizza was suppose to get here around 12:15. It's 1:14 am and my pizza is still not here. I keep calling the location and they are not picking up. Worst experience with Pizza Hut ever.

I ordered a pizza and pasta dish at 10:51am and its 12:20pm. I called their shop at 12:10pm to ask where my pizza was and put me on hold for 5 mins so I hung up. I will never order from them again. Worst part is, they're a 5 min drive from where I ordered.

Wow. Lots of bad reviews. It seems like delivery is the main issue as I read through them. I, on the other hand, purchased for carryout since I am just down the road. I even ordered online so I didn't have to speak to anyone until I made it to the store. Order: There was a special for a $8 large pizza. Pretty darn good price. We ordered a pepperoni pan pizza. Pros: Price. Taste. Temperature was spot on. Prompt preparation- it was ready on time. Not much to say about chain pizza. I would order from them again.

I will never order another pizza from this spot again. Placed an order at 3:00pm on a Tuesday. My pizza did not arrive until 5:45pm, This has to be a new record for delivery failure. My pizza looked liked the driver has been riding around with it all day. My wings were so old. I will NOT order from this store again. It is to the point where I am on the verge of Never Ordering from Pizza Hut any Pizza Hut Ever! I wish I was able to upload pictures. Order at your own Risk!

This location is pathetic to be quite honest. I've twice ordered a pizza from them and after waiting 1.5 hours I've had to call and ask where the pizza is. Last night they said "ohhh uhh it's not there yet? It'll be another 10-12 minutes" No thanks, cancel it. If it takes them almost 2 hours to deliver a pepperoni pizza a half mile away, they shouldn't be in business. Take your money elsewhere, this location desperately needs new management/to be torn down.

I want to give this shithole zero stars, and we didn't even order food from here. Today my husband and I were driving home southbound on Monroe Drive, and a Pizza Hut driver going south as well swipes his car over into our lane and almost hit our car. My husband hit the horn as the Pizza Hut driver MAKES A U-TURN -- ON A BUSY SUNDAY AFTERNOON -- ON MONROE DRIVE. And what does the driver have the nerve to yell at us? "Sorry, fucker!" and drives off. My husband yells, "I'm going to call your manager!" After we realize that the nearest Pizza Hut is only blocks away, we go up there to complain. As my husband is in there complaining to the manager, Shithead the delivery guy comes in. He is a complete dick, acknowledging that he did cut into our lane and almost hit our car but acting like no one could have gotten hurt, even though that road is absolutely packed on a Sunday with other drivers, bikers, and walkers. (We were right at the Beltline.) I am asking for people to NOT order from this place. If they are hiring drivers such as this asshole who has no regard for human life, people are going to get killed. Obviously this place is a complete shithole. Do yourself a favor and call somewhere else where delivery drivers don't act like they are high on crack when they are on the road.

In retrospect I should have consulted this site prior to ordering, but in the past I have at least gotten my food that I ordered from this restaurant. Tonight however there was a different fate to await me. I can accept a timeline of one hour for delivery, but when one exceeds this by another hour we cease to be discussing something reasonable. Spoke to the driver but I can't even figure out where the idiot is driving.

Help I've been food raped! I always trusted Pizza Hut. I grew up with Pizza Hut. Always there, Always predictable. Pizza Hut helped me get through college for Bob's sake! But... what was that? I mean... come on man.. what happened? I used to love you man and you betrayed me! What happened to the days when week old Pizza Hut found under couch cushion was still good? I.. I just don't know anymore. I feel betrayed. I agree with Paulita B.'s review where she states that it's good for farting.

This was a meal I ordered to celebrate my graduation of middle school, and it'll be a meal I will never forget. I danced my way over to the computer and order a very specific meal (Large cheese pizza extra cheese easy on sauce, cinnamon sticks with 2 icings, mild buffalo wings because I felt like trying them out, and a Pepsi) and got the estimated time. (8:19 PM) 8:59 PM Ringing at the door. It's the pizza guy! As he's handing me the pizza, he says "We were out of Pepsi, sorry." I forgave him, but couldn't help feeling a bit annoyed. I just brushed it off, I had extra OJ in the fridge anyways. After exchange food for cash, I sat at the table to inspect the meal. The first thing I noticed was that the 2 icings (One which I paid extra for) were replaced with blue cheese dipping sauce, rendering the cinnamon sticks inedible. This got to me a bit more, but the blue cheese and the icing look very similar, so i assumed it was probably no more than a mistake. I opened up the wings and nibbled at one. It's spicier than you'd expect from "mild", and at this point, I started to assume this is more than a chain of "accidents". (I would add they're not buffalo, but I don't even know the difference.) To top it off, the pizza I ordered (and even repeated in the comments) has normal sauce and normal cheese on it. That was the last straw. How could they mess up my order not once, not twice, but 4 times? I was about to call the store, but couldn't think of a nicer way to say "Hello? Yes, I would like to complain about the crap service you gave me tonight. Can I get a refund?" Most likely I would have gotten a "Sorry, I'm busy playing Angry Birds." or "Sorry, but it's time for my nap. Please hold." There has been times where I did need to call pizza hut to say "Hey, I actually want it for delivery, not carry out." sometimes it's been, "I believe you gave me the wrong order." and occasionally, "It's been 2 hours. I'm not trying to be rude, but where the hell is my pizza?" One thing to keep in mind is that the primary language spoken by the staff is a mix of "Ghetto English" and "McDonald's Drive-Thru Speakerphone Lady". TL;DR Don't order from here. If you want pizza delivered, go call Domino's. P.S. I did get to keep $3 of the cash I had, so at least I can get a bag of chips at the liquor store or something.

I was very apprehensive about coming to this location because of the negative reviews...it's close to where I live so I tried it for convenience and hoped for the best. I ordered wings in two flavors but when I arrived to pick up the order, all the songs were one flavor. The manager Eric was very accommodating and said they would get the order correct but needed time to do it. I settled for all in one flavor but received a store credit for what i purchased so that they had a chance to give me what I originally ordered. That's old school customer service! Because of this I will be back for sure!!!

This was the worst experience I have even heard of at a restaurant. We ordered delivery, it finally showed up 3 1/2 hours after we ordered the food. The management refused to answer the phone, and the delivery driver hid half of my order in the car to keep for himself. Then told me I didn't have to pay for my food if the tip was "big enough". I can't get over how unprofessional and lazy everyone in this store seems to be. On a side note from the service, the food was cold AND well overdone. I know that sounds crazy, but true. THEY CAN DO NOTHING RIGHT!

My own stupidity for even trying to use Pizza Hut. They have continued a downward spiral over the last few years. I have lived in about 8 different cities in the last three years and the Pizza Hut experience has not been great in any of the them, but this one takes the cake. They are not only unable to make and or deliver their menu, they are unbelievably rude. Even the manager, I would list his name, but he mumbled each of the three times I ask him for his name. I really hope Yum finally decides to fix this brand. When they do it right, they have some of the best pizza of any national chain. Sadly, I won't know as I am done giving them chances only to see them fail at least 80 percent of the time.

THE WORST! This poor sad, little Pizza Hut cant seem to get it right. At one point they had great management and were spot on. Now it seems that its location is getting the best of its workers and management. First; regular delivery time is at an HOUR MINIMUM! (Tonight it was est 75min!) Second; customer service is horrendous. I remember calling one night around 11pm, I asked if they were still open and the representative said "Call back in an hour." (when they were closed) LOL. Granted not everyone can speak with clear and concise diction...but they could at least place a regular person on the phone that can manage to speak non-hood English. I doubt I'll ever go back to this establishment again.

  • Aaron F.

This is by far the worst Pizza Hut!! No matter whether carryout or delivery! Service is HORRIBLE!! Never have been to a Pizza Hut where the hours of operation depends on what time the employees/managers feel like closing! And it's funny to how phones go unanswered... I live 2mins from this particular Pizza Hut so when the phone went unanswered after several tries I decided to just drive over all to find numerous employees playing around just letting the phone ring. I could go on and on about other incidents... Like when I ordered carryout all to get to the with the doors LOCKED as I knocked and called to watch an employee avoid looking in my direction. ZERO STARS! The whole staff need to be REPLACED or under SERIOUS observation as they continuously bring this particular establishment down!

I'm a hardcore, long time Pizza Hut fan and will NEVER order from them again. Moved from Decatur (great Pizza Hut delivery and pizza) to the Stacks in Cabbagetown. I've ordered pizza twice, both times it took over two hours to get delivered and no one ever answered the phone. The last time the pizza was practically inedible (and this is someone who likes cold pizza). Overdone is putting it nicely. Got the two medium pizza deal and threw it all out. NEVER AGAIN.

Every single time I call this place, irregardless of the day or time, they always tell me the wait is over 1.5 hours. Really??? On a Tuesday at 11:00 in the morning??? Doubtful. The owner of this franchise should definitely worry about his staff over exaggerating wait times out of laziness. This was my third and final attempt. Papa John's here I come.

Now call me selfish but I never write reviews on places... But I feel the need to warn anyone & everyone who is willing to read this ridiculously long review. If I could have given this Pizza Hut zero stars I would have, but yelp wont allow it. Worst pizza hut east of the Mississippi!! I have 2 horrible run INS with location. The First: I decided to order pizza before I headed off to work in 2hrs to save me some vital lounging time. Ordered & was assured my pizza would be there in 30min. (I live aprox 6 min from this location) After an hour I call back in only to be informed that the pizza dude has no delivery drivers on the clock. (Really!?) At this point in disgruntled & starving. I call back after an hour & half to cancel - no answer. Finally after 2hrs of hunger pangs my pizza shows up... Cold, lumpy & looking like itd been in a street brawl. I hungrily scarf it down & rush off to work. Never again I say.... Until a week ago. I decided to be a gold star girlfriend & send my sweetie some pizza @ work. I thought this time pizza hut couldnt possibly screw up since he works LITERALLY around the corner from them. WRONG! They delivered the pizza after he'd left work & it was sent back- something I could have forgiven if they had called to let me know. When I finally figured ouy it hadnt been delivered... I called - no answer. Textbook North Ave pizza hut. So me & my hungry sweetie went down there... Only for them to say "oh yea we tried to deliver it" & wave a voided receipt at me. We still wanted pizza! I was told my $ would be refunded in 2-3 business days. Yea... 2 Weeks later its STILL not back on my card. I call in to inquire as to why... & get put on hold for 19 minutes. My pride wouldnt let me hold for 20 & I hung up feeling cheap & used. Screw YOU North Ave Pizza Hut! Never again! Save yourself the frustration & go elsewhere.... ANYWHERE.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
