Loved the pork belly sandwich and fries!! This is a hidden little gem of a place. Met for a date and it was a win-win in all ways possible!! It's a fairly new, rustic place with amazing Asian fare food & bartenders who know how to pour 'em strong! Won't soon forget this place. Gotta love a beer belly!!!

This place is great. Granted, part of why I like it so much is it isn't busy, but I'll sacrifice that luxury to keep them making burgers. I've been there three times this past week and every meal has been top notch. Super nice staff. Great tv's. Drink specials are skimpy though. Beer prices comparable.

This is a hidden gem! This place recently opened and it did not disappoint. The burgers are great and the atmosphere is relaxed and chic. I am not usually a big kimchi fan but theirs is really tasty. I had the regular burger which was great but my boyfriend ordered the Pijiu burger which was delish. Both were huge. I'm taking half of mine home. The fries and german potato salad were also good. Great selection of beers on tap too!

Interesting restaurant. Had the thai tater tots which was very tasty as well as the pijiu burger. Would like to go back and try the pork belly.

This is a great spot and welcome addition to the Westside. Casual atmosphere, great food, reasonable prices. The signature rotisserie chicken is truly out of this world. It is spicy and flavorful. We will definitely be back to have this either in the restaurant or for takeout. The local beer selection was also great. Can't wait for our next visit!

Nice place very friendly owners. Went for lunch, it was very quite, service was good. My son had the burger and I had the pork belly. The quality is there however I did not enjoy the porkbelly. The burger was good and the fries were tasty. I will go back and try some other items.

I ate here opening night and ordered the rotisserie chicken, nachos and a few sides to get a really good feel of the menu. The chicken was amazing and spiced just right and the collard greens that come with it will make you want to slap your mamma they are so good. The guacamole on the nachos has ginger in it, there is no other like it, I begged for a to go container. They have their alcohol permit now so I plan to go back and try some of the drinks they have along with one of the burgers. I cant wait to see what the expanded menu brings as I'm sure it will be amazing and mouthwatering.

Came here for a quick Sunday dinner and was really impressed with the food and service. Very casual laid back atmosphere with a few outdoor patio tables. Our server recommended the rotisserie chicken and Brussel sprouts which were both excellent. Perfectly flash fried to leave a light crisp texture. We also had the bulgogi bowl which I recommend along with tots and pork belly yakitori to start. All in all a great meal. My bf also had a cocktail "what happens in Mexico" which he really enjoyed.

I've been anticipating my visit here since I found out about it via Instagram. I finally had a chance last Sunday. It was very slow for a Sunday evening, but I'm assuming all the students were away prepping for finals. Thai tater tots- I absolutely loved this. It's sweet potato tots with jalapeños, garlic and sriracha mayo. This was my favorite dish. Kale salad- This was a huge portion for the price. It was missing the ramen noodles that it said it would come with which is what I really wanted in it. PB burger- The waiter stated that this was the second most popular entree. It's a burger with kimchi, beer BBQ sauce, cheese and a fried egg. I love the concept because I love all of those ingredients; however, I felt it just missed the mark. In my opinion, the cheese it came with wasn't the right choice. I would have preferred a slice of cheddar. Cheddar goes good with kimchi flavored items. Also, I wish the kimchi were grilled because it would definitely brought out more flavors for the burger. The burger was definitely juicy though, and the egg was cooked perfectly. Rotisserie chicken- The half is a great deal! It's huge and comes with daikon (pickled radish), jalapeños and one side. The skin is definitely crisp and is tasty. The chicken itself was moist, but lacked flavor unless dipped in the BBQ sauce that accompanied it. Service was excellent! He was very accommodating and was pretty much a step ahead of us the whole time. He knew what we needed before we even spoke up which is great! I don't know if I'd find myself coming back since I live far, but if I were in the area then it would be an option. P.S. They have fun games!

Service was super nice. We were here when they opened the first months and have been coming here since we live across the street. Beer option was great I usually order angry orchard. They have many on tap beer. Chicken is my favorite. The boss always come say hi and greet us, chat with us. Whenever I need a beer this place will be my number option !

If you are going here for the juicy pork belly in the other pictures you see on yelp they don't serve it anymore. They only have these dry deep fried strips. Its just bland unsmoked bacon. Nothing special. Shame, I bet this place was great once.

Not sure why - but Piju Belly didn't really satisfy me when I came here for dinner the other day.... 2/5 for Parking - This is going to be a major problem. The lot is TINY. Maybe can fit.... 15-20 cars? Yeah, don't come at peak hours. If you come here for Happy Hour with several people, be smart and carpool. Or maybe even Uber. Half your mood will turn sour when you arrive and see NO parking. You'll have to wait 15 or so mins for someone to leave -_- Service & Space - Reminds me of a mini Ormsby's.... sort of. I saw some games near the front of the store. There's also a bar and a couple high top tables. In the back, there's regular seating. Looks small on the outside, but a little bigger on the inside. Service was good - no complaints. Guy was really nice and attentive. Food came out within 10 mins of ordering. Food - I got the Piju Burger Burger with Grilled Chicken. The burger was BIG. Wow. It took me awhile to finish it. I would definitely make sure to have some napkins. It gets a little messy with this Burger! The chicken tasted really good & juicy. Grilled to the best form. The thing that kind of made me turn away was the Kimchi in it. It bland and tasteless. And very unripened. I actually took off the Kimchi before I ate the burger. The fries included in the meal were ok. Typical fries. My bf had the BP Banh Mi - I had a couple bites. It's ok - the meat was dry. However, the ingredients were normal & the portion was generous. Fries included in the meal were ok.

The chicken was tender but a bit dry for me. I love the thin, crispy, seasoned skin. It's thin enough for me to justify eating. The brussels, cooked and covered with sauce, is like crack. It was lightly bitter but paired with the honey concoction resulted in a party in my mouth. Radish was an interesting light contrast to the heavy sweet sauce in which I drenched my chicken. Sweet potato tots with sriracha mayo. Light tot topped with sriracha mayo.. How can one go wrong here?! This was delectable. Other than the brussel sprouts, I wasn't too impressed with my entree. The bulgogi bowl looks interesting so if I come back I'd try that. Coming with a group may be a good idea because there are some games there. Service is good and friendly, decor is nice, parking is enough, thus bumping my 3.5 stars up to 4 since yelp doesn't do half stars on individual reviews.

Yay! I'm a fan fan fan on my first and only time there!! I think this place is soooooooooooo cute and im soooooooooo happy to add a casual bar/restaurant to the westside! A couple of highlights about the space: -not too crowded (yet...), but i'm sure it'll pick up -blend of large high top tables, normal tables, and a good size bar -such a fun space with colorful murals on the wall -lots of drankkkkkkkk selections--beer on tap and cocktail; i opted for beer this time, will likely try to cocktails next time i swing by Notes on the food: -definitely get the rotisserie chicken! its soooo good--skin is crisp, meat is not dry, good flavoring -the two sides were 'asian' inspired--a sweetish collard greens and pickled cubed daikon; both tasty and a good complement to the chicken, though I wish there was a spicy kick somewhere in there -Pijiu burger topped with kimchi--i, unfortunately, think this is a miss :( i'm not 100% confident that the burger patty is made in-house and the kimchi topping didn't add much. i think they can definitely kick the flavors in the burger up a couple notches -chili--first bite was really tasty, 2nd bite and beyond was less tasty. a bit too acidic and needed some salt/savory to balance A few more notes: -the waiter said that theyd be changing to a different menu with izakaya -not sure how the asian influences will play out/how successful they'll be--but I really do hope that all the food is super tasty! really looking forward to trying this place again!

We should have come here earlier. Walked over for brunch today--much more spacious on the inside than it seems from the outside. Attentive service from beginning to end. Food was creative, reasonably priced, and tasty. We had the chicken tots scramble/hash (rotisserie chicken + sweet potato tots + onions + tomatoes), grits fries w/ bacon aioli, and three-cheese grits. (Hey, we like grits.) Drink options were excellent: we did the carafe of mimosa, which was a generous portion for $10 and not skimpy on the booze. Will definitely be coming back here.

I've been here multiple times (live nearby) and really like this place. It's not popular enough yet, and I hope it gets popular enough to stay in business. It's mostly Southern style food with Asian fusion. -pork belly sandwich - I really like the flavor of this -side of brussel sprouts - I dug it. Some friends didn't like the flavoring as much. -bulbogi bowl - Friends really liked it. It's straightforward -Pijiu Burger - friends rave about it. it has kimchi on it. -Ramen - I dug it but man was it spicy. It also has bacon/egg in it. -Cheesesteak - awesome flavor. So full from it. -Half chicken - friends love this and it's a lot of food All the main dishes are like 10-13 I think, and the prices are great. One friend said he wrote a Yelp review saying they should charge more. I mean, I'm cool with them keeping the prices as is. Parking signs: you can totally park there if you're a customer. Their lot has some towing signs that are confusing; it's for people who don't eat there, I guess. Beer: Good options. Creature Comforts, Monday Night Brewing, all the Atlanta options you'd want and more. I just really like this place and the service is good. Nice outdoor patio. Good indoor with TVs and foosball/shuffleboard. I'd love to see this be more popular even if it meant being less low-key (which I do enjoy about it).

My co-worker has been raving about this place for weeks now, and there was a period where he went almost 4 times in a span of a week or two. When we visited for lunch, all the workers came to greet him and welcome him back to the restaurant haha. We shared a whole chicken, which comes with picked daikon radish and a side. The chicken itself wasn't dry like I thought it would be, but it also wasn't the most moist rotisserie chicken I've had (like from Boston Market or even Kroger). The skin was nice and crispy. It came with a Korean BBQ sauce, which I'm not completely in love with, but it works with the chicken. However, that brussels sprout side is THE BOMB. I'm a huge lover of roasted brussels sprouts, and these had some nice brown caramelization. They were topped with this creamy sauce that had a lemon and almost coconut flavor? Whatever sauce it was, it was fantastic and was one of the best brussels sprouts I've ever eaten. My other co-worker ordered the Pijiu Burger, which had an egg, cheese, kimchi, and lettuce and tomatoes. The burger was fantastic especially with cheese and egg. The kimchi was on the younger fresh side, and I think I would order the kimchi on the side instead of all up in the burger. Overall, I enjoyed the meal because the chicken was huge, the brussels sprouts were amazing, and if I wanted to have a cheat day, the burger is tasty. I could definitely see beer going well with either the chicken or burger. Thankfully they have a bar with a large selection of beer and wine. The location is pretty hard to find if you aren't prepared. I'll just let you know that it is located across from the Sherwin Williams and has a fence. So just look for the fence and you're there!

I stopped in on a weeknight for dinner. After reading the reviews, I chose the burger. I really liked all of the flavors. The fried egg, cheese, and kimchi on a nicely prepared patty made for a hearty portion, that unfortunately I was not able to finish. Not only is this burger a large portion, it's heavy and perhaps next time I will be prepared to share with a friend. I did enjoy the Thai Tater Tots. It is sweet potato tots wok-tossed in garlic, jalapenos, cilantro, topped with Sriracha mayo, good times. The Yakitori was okay, a might stiff. Nicely decorated, nice staff.

Might sound a bit silly, but I've been so curious about Pijiu since before it opened and I saw the colorful and quirky painted graphics on the outside of the restaurant passing it almost everyday! So, I FINALLY came in on a Friday night! The inside has just as much character as the outside! You pass through these big, wooden doors, and then your eye catches a beautiful, yet masculine, dark wooden bar. It's so sleek, and dare I say...sexy? haha Then an adorable and welcoming hostess guided us to our table, which was past the bar and towards the back area. Once you're past the bar, the restaurant opens up to a bunch of wooden tables. Some were picnic table style, 1/2 booth tables and small tables. And yes, I said picnic table. They had umbrella's and laden with twinkle lights. Might sound odd, but it really works for this place! Also, great shuffleboard table aside in the back! And through a muffled window, you can see the chef and kitchen staff working hard! The menu is a diverse plethora of asian influences varying from Korean, Japanese, Chinese with a slight American twist. It's cross-cultural and I love it! Also, fantastic drink selections! I particularly found the Monday Night Brewing Co's-Fu Manbrew with it's gingery whisper went great with my meal! For our appetizer, we started with the Thai Tater Tots. They are sweet potato tots that have been topped with chopped pickled jalapeños, garlic, and Sriracha mayo and toasted up in a wok! These are a must-eat-with-a-fork food choice and super yum! For my main...One of the BEST things I've ever eaten....was the Bulgogi Bop. The star of the show is Bulgogi atop a bed of rice with house-made Kim Chi and some crispy veggies. The Bulgogi was so flavorful and tender that it just melted into my mouth! I kid you not, the Bulgogi it's self is INCREDIBLE! I'm pretty sure I made some loud and obnoxious moaning sounds while indulging in this delicacy! Also, this is a good family place. They have highchairs for younger children and I noticed that the older children really seem to enjoy playing with the shuffleboard. There isn't a children's menu (which would be a great add by the way), but they do have mini corndogs that I know my toddler loves. As for parking, there's a small lot next to Pijiu and valet on the weekends! Furthermore, I think it's best if you run over to Pijiu Belly and stuff that belly of yours! I know I'm going to be day dreaming about my previous meal until my next visit...Which I hope to be very soon!

HAND CUT FRIES The fries are delicious. Fresh hand cut and the sauces to dip are very good. Their ketchup is different, possible house made. PIJIU BURGER Moist, tender, and very good burger. Comes with kim chee and a fried egg inside, and it bursts with yolk when you start to eat. Yolk everywhere down your arm. Be prepared to get dirty but it's worth it. BULOGI BOP BOWL Super flavorful bulogi. I had part of the burger so I couldn't finish this dish but its a very good dish. I think the portions are very big, lots of rice, meat, korean slaw and kim chee. I took most of it home but it's a leftover food dish that'll be sure to be good later on at home too. GUINESS BLONDE Lighter guiness but pairs very well with the food.

"Let's minimize on the wiki facts and focus on the food. I'm trying to find out what to order on the Yelp app before the server gets back." As Marcus O says, TL:DR- (or just skip to the food.) [Time & Date of visit]: Weekend of DragonCon - 8pm [Party Size]: 5 [Location/Ambiance]: Parking - Private lot. It was fairly empty and we were dropped by Uber, so I'm not sure how it is on a normal night. Location - On 10th street but a little pass the busyness of Northside Drive, maybe trying to make that left turn when heading west on 10th might be a challenge during rush hour. Inside - High top tables with stools on the right, with a short mini-me shuffle board table and fooseball table in the game section right behind. Followed by regular 4 top tables behind the bar. In the far left immediately after the front entrance are two dart boards. That's good thinking, putting that away from the foot traffic I think, but still near the bar. Restroom - Still looking for the sign? We were for a sec. Look for the black curtains hung up between a doorway with "WC" above it. I guess, "Wash Closet"? Single restroom use for both men and women, so there might be a wait on busy nights. Vibe / Ambiance - Feels like casual hangout bar spot BUT serves big portion, good tasty food. [Service]: I think our experience this night was biased, as most of the restaurant was empty except for our table and another. As it seems all the attention was in midtown for DragonCon and the other on going events. So we had pretty much the whole restaurant to cater to us. Our server was pleasant and knew the menu well. She was able to answer all our food questions as well as beer and wine. Water refills were pretty good. Appetizers were placed staggered, but still arrived before entrees. All entrees came out very quickly back to back. [Food Highlights]: First and foremost- this is an Asian fusion type restaurant. Don't expect authentic. But do expect better than just meh, bar food. Thai Tater Tots - Texture was good, as they were cooked well. A slight crunchiness on the outside, mushy softness on the inside. Taste wise, the cook went a little overboard on the garlic, but all other flavors played well to compliment the sweet potato once you scrapped some of the garlic off. Worth a try if it's not overloaded with garlic. No ketchup needed. Pimento Cheese 'Grits Stix' - Everyone liked these much more than the tots. Dam that bacon lol. The sriracha aioli didn't do much, I feel, but the cheese grits were def. good on their own. Must try if you like cheesy grits. Pork Belly Yakitori - A fusion of Korean food meets hot wings...on a stick. The texture was easier to nom nom on. PB's version of pork belly fatty parts with the super soft meat sides needed not much chewing. I don't think the celery added much except to use to dip into the blue cheese. So so. Pijiu Salad - Portion size was HUGE. Perfect for sharing for a group as a side option if you aren't feeling any of the side choices. The dressing paired well with all the toppings. Good for veggie lovers. The Pijiu Burger - I'm off and on for my best burger quest. This is close to being in the top ten. The kimchi was pickled just right for the burger, as in, not overpowering on sour. Though the server didn't ask, our burgers came out medium. Mmm. The combination of the fried egg, seasoned juicy burger, with a slight spicy-sourness of the kimchi works well. Def. recommending. Bulgogi 'Cheesesteak' Hoagie - Not as tender as I was expecting. As some pieces of meat still were linked together w/ bits of fat and cooked a little well done, I felt it was a bit chewy here and there. The bread gets soaked through in the "au jus" of the marinate. I was eating it vertically like a taco for the other half. It's pretty good, but not spectacular. PB'S Famous Rotisserie Chicken - (half) - Great for sharing. If it's girls, maybe for three. Some pieces were expected to be dry for the white meat. The BBQ sauce is tangy and compliments well. Not really fried chicken, but this is pretty good. Roast Pork Belly (sandwich) THIS IS A MUST TRY. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. My mouth is just confusing my brain on each bite, but all it can say is MORE! Don't let the hoisin sauce deter you, it's hardly salty. Really though, STOP READING! ORDER TWO AND EAT THIS DOUBLE FISTED!! NOW! Oh wait, platters come with a side. Brussels Sprouts - Wasn't wowed, but neither let down. It was pretty good. Pickled Cucumbers - A little bit of an acquired taste. More Asian tastes than American. Cilantro-Lime Rice - Way overcooked this time, and bland. Skip. Daikon (Mu) - The same as banchan of most Korean restaurants. Second Self - Thai wheat beer. Not quite Blue moon smooth, but it's a good different with the hints of lemon grass. {Summary}: Probably not the best fusion restaurant in Atlanta. But fusion of casual bar food and big tasty portions. Great service. 5 stars.

Overall: We came in for brunch on a Sunday, and the place was relatively empty. Unfortunately, it may have been the dishes we ordered, but food was relatively bland, and required a hefty amount of Sriracha sauce to give it a kick. Service was typical, but bills got a little mixed up due to splitting among friends. Would try again to give it another chance. Food: We ordered the Chicken Tot Scramble, and the thai tots. The thai tots were pretty good, but a little heavy on the cilantro and onions. The sauce that was drizzled on top was pretty good, but only coated a bit of the top layer, so the rest of the dish was essentially eating fried sweet potato tots. The Chicken Tot Scramble was a bit of a disappointment. Seemed like it was just a large plate of scrambled eggs with bland chicken and sweet potatoes thrown in. Friends who ordered the chicken and waffle dish and the three-meat scramble had better luck, and were happier with their food. I've heard that the non-brunch menu may be better though. I'll definitely try to come back and try other dishes, since it does seem like an interesting place/concept. Pricing: Price was relatively low-end. The egg scramble was around $8.5-9, and the tots were $5. Typical sides are $4. Parking: The parking lot is pretty small, but we parked across the street in the garage, which is apparently free! Ambiance: Really calming ambiance. Has a bar when you walk in, they serve a great variety of beers. Dark wood, pretty dim lighting, and interesting decor. There's a little corner in the back to play foosball and shuffleboard.

Cool, trendy atmosphere. Cornhole set outside to play and socialize as you wait. Food was delicious, and really filling - I usually polish my plate off when I go out to eat, but I took half of it home because there was so much food! They only lose a star because none of the beer prices were listed, and my boyfriend was surprised to see that he paid $9 for each of our beers... maybe this means we're cheap, but you'd think they'd have the courtesy to warn us that we're paying more than your average beer price. Otherwise, the beer selection was solid and the service was great.

Visited for the first time with a group. We had a group of six that got seated very quickly. Appetizers were great. We had nachos (HIGHLY recommended) and sweet potato tots which were both good. Everyone's entree looked and tasted great. Atmosphere is fine, and there's outdoor seating as well. We will all be visiting again.

Asian style with a southern twist: Ate here for their first brunch and it was great- I'll definitely be coming back for lunch/dinner. The rotisserie chicken is tender, well seasoned, and flash fried to give it a great crisp (think fried turkey at thanksgiving). We also had the pijiu burger omelet and loved the bbq sauce and kimchi fusion. This would be great as the regular burger they serve during non-brunch. Bloody Mary was good (7.5 out of 10) and had my daily serving of vegetables! :-) A good new spot on the booming west side!

After reading a recent Thrillist article on traditional and unique ramen eats in Atlanta, I found out about Pijiu Belly. We decided to check it out and were pleasantly surprised by the decor and ambiance. The bar was fairly packed, so we grabbed a table. The menu while at first looks to be simple, became evident that their offerings were not and choices had to be made. We opted for the mini corn dogs to start which was great with the sweet mustard. For entrees, I had the bulgogi cheesesteak and my better half the raymun soup. The portions are bigger than we expected, which is not a bad thing. The flavor of each dish were very satisfying and enjoyed to the last bite. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a fun and casual dinner that packs in bold flavor in a great setting. Can't wait to try the to rotisserie chicken and kickin' it on the patio!

Just opened & we can nearly fall out of our apartment and into this place. Good thing too, because I just ate the best pulled pork I've had in 46 years. Any beer you like--tell 'em & they'll get it. Home made Kim-chi to light your tongue on fire. Top notch sake. A wonderfully odd combination of German, Korean & American foods & drinks. And did I mention beer? just fantastic. you need to try this place.

This place was just the perfect spot for Sunday afternoon brunch with my father, his wife, my 17 year old nephew and 10 month old. The atmosphere was simple and pleasant, shuffleboard got the teenager talking and the Bloody Mary was lovely. Really enjoyed the scramble and the chicken sandwich. Sides were good, price was right, ambiance was perfect.

I had been hearing about this place for some time, and was eagerly awaiting it to open. And then I heard from a colleague at work that it had done a soft opening and was cranking up for business! Went with a group and sampled a bunch of food. First, cocktails we had were great, including a riff on a manhattan with a smoky candied bacon. I first thought that the bacon might be too much, but I was wrong - it didn't overwhelm and fit right in. Beer list is good, sampling from a combination of local craft beers and some interesting imports. I'm looking forward to seeing how this fleshes out. Started off with some appetizers - charcuterie plate with some really great cured meats and well-paired cheeses. The bonus was the really interesting spicy strawberry jam (or chutney of sorts). All went really well together. We also tried the poutine, which was good, and the hand-cut fries, which were perfectly done and came with really great sauces, including some korean-based sauce that everyone loved (and coveted even when the fries were gone). We also had nachos - the guacamole even had an asian twist - turned out to be ginger, which was really novel - I'll be trying that at home for sure. We then shared several larger dishes - the house burger, a pork belly sandwich, and the rotisserie chicken. Don't let the name rotisserie chicken fool you - the chef came out and chatted with us, and told us all about it. They use a rotisserie to cook it, and then flash fry it to get the skin perfect (in my opinion). It reminded me of the great Korean fried chicken places that I had been to in various places, but we can't get in Atlanta. Finally! No batter - just really juicy chicken, and perfectly crisp skin. It was so good, I considered eating the bones, but decided just to come back again for more chicken another day. Chicken and beer, makes my heart sing! My favorite thing we had was the spicy roast pork belly sandwich. At this time we were all getting full, but we soldiered on. The name kind of implies that it is going to be a soft, pork belly sandwich, but again they are really doing something special here - it is roasted in some way, and then fried with a crispy outside. On the bun with a glaze, etc., and it was sublime. I ended up taking some home, but it didn't reheat well. Finally, the Pijiu burger. This is a great burger, on a brioche I think, with a fried egg and some house made kimchi. Wow! By this time I was so full, I started to hallucinate a little bit. I will be back to have the burger on an empty stomach, for sure. But it didn't top the pork belly, in my opinion. The restaurant is still getting cranked up, and some things are still being finished and some details worked out, but looks great so far - definitely different from any other place in Atlanta, for sure.

This restaurant is amazing! They know their rotisserie chicken. The rotisserie chicken is tender and juicy and the skin on the chicken is so crispy and flavorful. On top of the amazing food the staff is friendly and very attentive. I would recommend this place to all of my friends!

Stopped in here for an early dinner after having been traveling. Food was excellent and unexpected. Service was very good. My husband had the rotisserie chicken which was super moist and I think much better than Bantam & Biddy who specializes in chicken too. My 2 year old (don't think this place is MEANT for kids but we took him since it was only 5pm) loved the corn dog app and the dipping sauces were yum. I had the BBQ chicken Banh Mi. They were out of the pate which normally comes on the sandwich and I think the sandwich was good but could have used that little something extra. Next time would add the Sriracha Mayo to it. Overall I was surprised by the quality and cool interior despite the small, older exterior. Check this place out.

Really enjoyed this place. A few of us shared the nachos (great), a sausage link appetizer (ok), and the fries (really good; all of the condiments served with the fries were tasty). For my entree, I had the bulgogi cheesesteak. Very good. Only thing I wasn't crazy about was the choice of cheese (provolone) that was used. I normally love provolone, but it didn't really enhance the flavor of the meat in any way. I bet a melted queso style cheese would be the bomb on this sandwich. The chef, William (who came by the table and was really cool), mentioned that a pepper jack option was available, so I'll definitely ask for that the next time I go. I will definitely be back - a lot. Pretty much everything that I tried was good, and my friends had the PB burger and the pork belly sandwich, and they really enjoyed their food, too. Very cool, laid back environment. Various bar games (including darts, etc). One thing that I thought was pretty ridiculous was the "complimentary" valet. The lot is not big, and I'm sure it gets crowded some nights (I hope), but there were literally 3 other cars in the parking lot when I got there and the parking lot is a few footsteps from the entrance to the restaurant! On top of that, the valet driver that was on duty left after we had been there for awhile to go to another location (that was presumably busier -imagine that), and came in to give us our keys. So I tipped him, but when I was leaving and got to my car, I saw that he left the driver side window down???? Not cool.

Loved the patio area, and everything that my fiance and I ordered was delicious. He had the burger with the fried egg and kimchi with a side of fries and Brussels sprouts and I had the roasted chicken with the sprouts. Everything was wonderful, the patio was super nice, and the people working there were very friendly.

We stumbled upon this place by accident. And what a wonderful accident it was. We had brunch and everything was delicious. I had the Pijiu B's omelet with kimchi. I'd never thought to put kimchi with an omelet but it was really good.

Service was great, could tell our waiter was just starting out so we gave him a break and he did awesome! Food was even better! Decor and cleanliness were an A+! And to top it off, one of the owners named Lily, came to our table and had a lovely conversation with my girlfriend and I, which provides us with more of a connection than other restaurants. It was obvious she cared what each customers thoughts were and took all advice into consideration. Not to mention, a pitcher of mimosas for only $10?!? Every where else is minimum $18, so remember this come brunch time! My only complaint is that they don't currently do any advertising, which is horrible because not enough people know about Pijiu Belly...guess it'll stay my little secret for now (will of course recommend) but come fall, I know word will get out about this great West Midtown restaurant!

I stopped in for lunch because it is so convenient. I never imagined I would have such yummy rotisserie chicken and nachos! I have the rotisserie chicken, just half for lunch and it was served over a bed in a long time. The dish was very fresh! My coworker had nachos... Let's just say I got to try some and I can't wait to come back to have those beer! I can't believe I didn't come here before for dinner -this is fantastic so glad they are open!

Came here the other night for the first time with my girlfriend. Menu looked pretty good and we were really excited by the good reviews. We started off with the fried pimento cheese sticks. They were really good, however the shape and breading had be slightly concerned they may have been something from a freezer bag. Didn't think much of it and we devoured them. My girlfriend and I both got the Pijiu burger. We were totally stoked about it. The burger came out and looked amazing. It was quite a handful. A few bites in I noticed something was off. So I pulled apart my burger and looked at the meat patty. Hmm something seems off. The shape was very uniform, and didn't look like a normal ground beef patty. Looking at the cross section of meat confirmed my suspicions. I was eating a frozen burger patty. The meat tasted bland and had a bizarre texture. Which made sense when I saw the cross section. It resembled stamped meat patty. My girlfriend had started examining her burger as well, then we looked at each other and said I think these are frozen patties. Great we paid $28 ($14 x 2) for frozen patties. We also now questioned the fried cheese sticks from earlier. If we had been severed one frozen thing maybe there was more? We didn't say anything to our waitress just finished our meal and left. Never again. Cookout and Wendy's had better tasting and better texture burgers than Pijiu's burger patty. Passing on this place going forward.

Came here for an early Saturday dinner. We started off with Thai Tater Tots for the table which were sublime (but so spicy - those jalepenos man). I loved how crispy the outsides were but the insides were full of potato-y goodness, just how tater tots should be! I picked the pork belly burger as my entree with brussels sprouts (obv) as my side. The brussels sprouts were awesome. I can never figure out how to crisp and not burn them at home but Pijiu Belly does them very very well. The pork belly burger was also quite simple but delicious so both are highly recommended by me. My dining companions also enjoyed their meals (ramen & bahn mi) and we all left stuffed. The service was good and I love the decor on the inside. Their parking lot is kind of small but it wasn't a problem for us. Verdict - Definitely someplace to go back to try more things.

I work in sales, with a pretty heavy emphasis on the customer experience. That being said, service is always going to play into my opinion of a place, and is nearly as important to me as the food. At the moment, Pijiu Belly is probably a 3.5 star spot for me, because the service is lacking. I've been twice, and the food is consistently good...their rotisserie chicken needs to be on everyone's 'must have' list, and their interpretation of pork dumplings (lightly fried, with soy-ginger dipping sauce) is fucking amazing. Went with a combo of appetizers when I came in earlier this week...the aforementioned dumplings, and their sweet and spicy sausage. The waitress warned me ahead of time...it's two Italian sausage links, cut into slices. Lo and behold, that's exactly what I received, and paid $7 for...you live and you learn, right? All in all, Pijiu has the makings of a great spot...damn good food, great craft beer selection, and convenient location...just a few kinks to work out.

I had a great first experience here. However, I came back during their weekend brunch hours and was terribly disappointed by their scrambles and service. So I decided to give an average of the two ratings (4 and 2). The scrambles come out on an elongated plate that I feel is supposed to elevate the presentation, but it felt like an appetizer plate not an entrée plate... I'd rather have a square or circle plate instead. - Chicken Tot Scramble: I ordered this item and it was no good. Someone else in our party also ordered this and also didn't like it. The chicken is a bit dry and there is no flavor whatsoever. This dish is interesting because the sweet potato adds sweetness when you expect it to be a savory dish. I had to add a lot of sriracha but it could only help a little bit. - Three Meat Scramble: My friend ordered this dish. It was better and had more flavor than the chicken tot scramble but still not that great. Would rather go to an actual brunch place for brunch. Service: I had a great experience with the staff the first time I was here, but this time our waitress didn't smile. She did not seem attentive and we would have to ask her questions multiple times before she realized we were talking to her. She took a long time to bring us our waters as well as come back to get our orders and even had to come back to confirm one of our orders. She definitely seemed new, but even so a friendly face goes a long way. I don't understand why there needs to a brunch menu when the regular menu is great and the brunch menu is clearly subpar.

Pork belly. One of those things I like the sound of, but am never quite sure I will like the eat of. Waiver as I might, I went for it last night with Pijiu's pork belly yakitori. So. Darn. Good. The two skewers were just right for my I'm-not-sure-I'm-hungry mood. Very juicy meat, not at all fatty, really quite perfect. A great combination with the chunky celery pieces skewered in between the meat, and the blue cheese accompaniment was delicious. I'll go back just for these, but since it's just a block away, I'll also go back to try other goodness I know they proffer based on the looks of dishes those around me ordered. Burger up first.

It took me more than a few seconds to realize what "Pijiu" meant, even as one fluent in Mandarin. "Beer" belly is a cute name for this hipster Asian and southern fusion restaurant/bar. Parking is pretty limited. The private lot is pretty small, but we got lucky with the last two open parking spots. The layout, decor and seating is perfect. Bar is open and rustic. I love the long tables made from doors, topped with glass. There are also arcade games (I only remember the arcade golf), darts, corn hole and shuffle board to play. Did someone say chicken and waffles?? I ordered the chicken and waffles from the brunch menu, which I split with my friend who ordered the Pijiu Burger. We almost ordered a mimosa carafe to share, but alcohol isn't served until 12:30 on Sunday. Once the clock struck 12:30, the moment had passed and we didn't end up ordering any alcohol. The chicken and waffles melted my heart. They were delicious. Beats the Gladys Knight's signature any day. The half rotisserie chicken had a lightly seasoned and crispy skin which I made sure to save for my last bite of perfection. The meat was tender and juicy. I didn't need the gravy that was provided, but it was there. The waffles were just a normal Belgium waffle sliced in quarters, but dipped in the piping hot maple syrup really hit the spot. The Pijiu burger has been proclaimed recently as one of the best burgers in Atlanta. And while it was definitely good, I also did not see the hype. You cannot go wrong with an egg on a burger, so I was very excited. And I do love my kimchi. As much as I adore cheese, the combination of these three items with the BBQ and sriracha-mayo sauces were a little odd. It grew on me in the end, but it just couldn't compete for me as a top tier burger. Our food seemed to take a while to get to us. That, or we were starving, which we were. I do understand that the genius that is the chicken and waffles takes time, though.

If you blink, you might miss Pijiu Belly. It is a small newcomer to the Westside. The word, "Pijiu" is Mandarin for "beer". So you can imagine that they have a pretty decent craft beer list. In fact, Pijiu Belly has over 15 beers on tap. Besides beer, they have a decent cocktail list as well. The concept of Pijiu Belly is comfort food with Asian influence. Think items like Thai Tater Tots or a Bulgogi Cheesesteak. Our group began with a quad of appetizers: Thai Tater Tots, Pimento Cheese Grit Stix, the Sausage Plate and an order of Poutine to round out our gluttonous order. Their signature item at Pijiu Belly is their Rotisserie Chicken. Roasted for hours, it is served with the beer bbq sauce, it's on my list for my next visit. Asian influenced sandwiches also include the Bahn Mi and Pork Belly topped with a peach hoisin sauce. However, I couldn't resist the Bulgogi Bop. I really love the Asian influence on comfort food here, not to mention how affordable Pijiu Belly is. Appetizers average just $6 and entrees only $12. Pijiu Belly is an Asian-Southern restaurant-bar that opened December 9, 2014 in West Midtown (Westside) near Georgia Tech and Atlantic Station. It's on 10th Street across from the Humane Society. This is a casual, fun, and laid back place that can be a nice alternative to nearby bars such as Ormsby's, though it's technically not open as late. Pijiu is brought to you by the same Chinese-Korean co-owner siblings (Lenny, Lina, Lili Shou) as Noodle. I've been to Noodle Midtown and think the food at Pijiu Belly is much better. "Pijiu" is Mandarin Chinese for beer. Unlike the Noodle restaurants, Lenny and his family own the building Pijiu is in. It used to be a film processing center. Due to construction, permitting, and other issues, it took two years for Pijiu to open. The restaurant looks great -- neat, simple, and functional. I love the bold, colorful, and cartoony artwork and the repurposed materials used inside. For example, the tabletops are made out of old barn doors and warehouse carts from Sears Roebuck (now Ponce City Market). There's cornhole on the patio. Inside, there are two dart boards, shuffleboard, and Golden Tee arcade golf. The vintagey, small bar has four TVs and seats just over a dozen. There are about a dozen more bar stools against the nearby wall counter, a handful of 6-8 person high-top tables, and two picnic tables plus seating for up to 30 in the back. Frosted glass windows blur the views into the kitchen. Pijiu Belly's food menu is mainly a mixture of Asian and Southern cooking. Examples include "Thai" tater tots, dumplings, Japanese yakitori skewers, salads, the "Pijiu Burger" made with Korean kimchi, roasted pork belly, the "PB Banh Mi" (their take on the Vietnamese sandwich), and noodle soup. Prices are reasonable with most entrees costing no more than $10-12 each. There are 16 beers on tap, over 30 bottled or canned, cocktails, and several non-alcoholic drinks such as Reed's Extra Ginger Brew and various hot/cold teas. Here's what I've tried: Apps/Mains: * Thai Tater Tots - sweet potato tots wok-tossed in garlic, jalapenos, cilantro, topped with Sriracha mayo * Poutine - hand-cut fries, pork gravy, cheese * PB Rotisserie Chicken - dry-rubbed, roasted for hours and then crisped, served with signature beer-BBQ sauce, daikon, pickled jalapeno * Pijiu Burger - fried egg, kimchi, cheese, BBQ sauce, Sriracha mayo * Roast Pork Belly (sandwich) - roasted and crisped pork belly, house sweet peach-hoisin sauce, sesame and poppy seed bun * Bulgogi Bop - bulgogi, cilantro-lime rice, kimchi, Asian slaw * PB Banh Mi - pulled BBQ chicken, cilantro, carrots, onion, cucumber, daikon, jalapenos, pate, & lemon butter on a hoagie Sides: * Daikon (Mu) - Korean radish * Brussels Sprouts with lemon cream honey sauce * Ginger-Apple Collards * Pickled Cucumbers Portion sizes are generally large. I'm not sure the Thai Tater Tots are really all that Thai, but they're tasty nonetheless. It's simply hard to go wrong with tots. The Poutine is okay. The pork gravy is meaty and chunky. The rotisserie chicken, burgers, and sandwiches are served on metal trays lined with paper, much like several burger joints and BBQ restaurants do. I think this can be problematic for dishes, particularly the chicken, where cutting must be done because the paper gets torn up. There is a limited number of PB Rotisserie Chicken available each day. The chicken isn't as moist and flavorful as I'd like, but it's not bad either. The BBQ sauce is a must (there's not much beer taste too it). I do think the pickled half-jalapeno is a nice touch. The Pijiu Burger is delicious. It's also messy to eat due to the fried egg yolk. The beef patty is thick and succulent. The kimchi here is excellent! I believe it's toned down for the American palate. It's not as sour nor spicy as the kimchi you might find at a straight-up Korean establishment. The Roast Pork Belly is very good, though it's challenging to eat as a sandwich because the slices of pork are so thick and somewhat tough. You get all layers of pork belly from meat to fat to crispy outer edges. It's smoky and yummy. Soft, appetizing multi-seed bun too. The Bulgogi Bop bowl is huge and satisfying. The piled high, thin slices of cooked beef are nicely marinated and delectable. The cilantro-lime rice, sitting at the bottom, gets slightly soggy. The PB Banh Mi is the only disappointing item I've tried. Like the rotisserie chicken, the chicken in the bahn mi is dry. The other ingredients are fine. On the plus side, this is a big, meaty, and filling sandwich. All of the sides I've tried have been solid. The Brussels Sprouts are my favorite because of the mouthwatering cream sauce applied on top. The chopped Daikon (a.k.a. winter radish) is cold, crisp, and tart. The slightly sweet Ginger-Apple Collards are comforting and the Pickled Cucumbers are seasoned with a bit of Korean chili flakes. Service is friendly and attentive. Lenny and Diane are terrific. Free parking on-site.

Eating here has been on my To Do list for a couple of months. I pass it all the time. This past Sunday I remember while looking for a late lunch and a quick bite. I really like the decor. From the large dark doors at the entrance to the unique tables and wall decor. The staff was very friendly. They were still serving the brunch menu when we arrived. The selection was varied but not a lot of options. One page of food while there were 3 pages of drinks. They have flavored mimosas. I ordered a pineapple mimosa. It was awesome! I ordered the french toast with a side of grilled chicken. I asked to adjust the chicken waffles to chicken and french toast since the protein sides were limited and try to avoid eating pork. I also really wanted to try the roasted crispy chicken. The server said the chef said no modifications. I get it to an extent but I'm sure a half order of french toast would not have hurt anything. Anyway the french toast was awesome and the chicken was seasoned perfectly. I really want to try their traditional order of chicken. I will eat here again for sure. I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

Pijiu means "beer" in Mandarin. This hip and casual brunch spot is right around the corner from the GA Tech campus. It's a great place to hang out on a Friday night because there's games like cornhole, darts, and foosball. Hello fun night! Techies (GA Tech students) will love this place. There's a long list of beer and cocktails too! Let's talk about the menu. I love that Pijiu Belly incorporates Asian favorites with American brunch classics. How exotic does Thai Tots sound? A crispy sweet potato tots seasoned with sriracha mayo, onions, peppers and cilantro? I swear I tasted fresh Thai basil leaves too. It was phenomenal! The cheese grit fries were also fantastic. Just wait until you try it. The Pijiu Burger is another fusion favorite. Ground beef burger topped with BBQ sauce, srira-mayo, cheese, Korean kim chi with a fried egg on top! Heaven! I had the fan favorites which was the crispy rotisserie chicken and waffles. The chicken tasted fried because it's so crispy and yummy with a hint of lemon juice. You get half a chicken! It's so tender and juicy underneath that tasty and crispy skin. It also comes with creamy white gravy that is addictive! And finally, the toasty waffle quarters were sweet and surprisingly stayed crispy for a long time. How did they do that? Other things to try: the chicken scramble tots, vegetable frittata, Benedict Burger and french toasts. Here's something you will love, the price. Everything on the menu is surprisingly cheap. Ok, cheap is a bad word but compared to the surrounding brunch places, the price is very attractive given the creativity and portion of the meal. College students and cheapskates will love this place. Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday. Check out my photos and see for yourself.

Food is delish!!! Thai tater tots and nachos are great for sharing. Weren't fans of the chicken or pork belly yakatori. The pork belly burger is a MUST! Crispy, juicy, sweet, and salty in one bite, what more can you ask for ;-) Pijiu burger has a fried egg on top, need I say more? With an Asian twist this burger is also another top contender on my list here. The rotisserie chicken is also very delectable, there's not a dry bone anywhere on this chicken. This plate comes with pickled radishes and one side item (brussel sprouts please). There's something about these brussel sprouts that keep you wanting more, two thumbs up! Bugolgi bowl has the perfect seasoning, with a great mixture of veggies. Service is impeccable, not only friendly but attentive to your needs. This is my regular spot on the westside, great addition to the area.

I came here for my first UYE, so Pijiu Belly will always hold a special place in my belly (and heart). I tried one of Tanya C.'s sweet potato tots. I would've devoured more, but I just met her and the other Elite Yelpers and I was trying to make a good impression. Those little guys (the tots, not the Yelpers) were so good! I was craving bibimbap. I ordered the bulgogi bpp. The meat was tender, and the dish was flavorful. But I wasn't blown away by it. All in all, it was a cool restaurant. It's not high on my gotta-go-back-there-ASAP list, but I will go back...for sentimental reasons, of course.

Pijiu belly is new restaurant in Westside that had its soft opening last Tuesday(12/09/2014). They call themselves a pub fare restaurant with Asian influence. I had a chance to try their food for lunch. Pijiu means beer - I am not sure they named the restaurant beer belly or the belly is a reference to pork belly in their menu. Regardless, it's always nice to see new restaurants. The restaurant is located on left, if you are driving from GA tech campus and 85, on 10th street, past north avenue and right across the street from sherwin Williams store. The parking is in a lot, right next to the restaurant. Currently it's a self park, but I hear it's going to valet parking in the future. The lot will fill up to 18 cars but they also have another lot up the street. When you enter you will see the prominent bar with granite counter, bar stools and TVs. On the left there is small area for dart boards and pool tables(not complete yet but I was told that the plan). There are several high bar tables on the right side area with 6 seating each and regular tables with 4 seating in the back, behind the bar. It has a modern-industrial style. The menu is rather simple for now - but they will have a revised menu with more items during their grand opening in January. It has charcuterie plates, starters, burgers and sandwiches, sides and beverages. And of course they have beer menu on the board as well. Taking about beer, they don't have beer on tap installed yet but I was told that it will be ready by end of the week with large selections. From charcuterie selection, I ordered la cabana - soft goat milk cheese made in Spain with rosemary crust. I liked the cheese but it wasn't as soft as I expected it to be. I also ordered, spicy soppressata - Italian made spicy pork cured meat and it was delicious. The plate was served with strawberry jam, pineapple chutney, Dijon mustard and balsamic reduction.($4 each and $11 for three). I also ordered, 'The Pijiu burger' based on recommendation from the bartender. It had fried egg, kimchi, cheese, beer-bbq sauce on brioche bread and served with hand-cut fries, onion, tomato and pickles. ($13) The burger had complex flavors and tasty, thanks to the runny egg yolk, kimchi, onion and beer-bbq sauce. It all works well together. My only gripe is that kimchi was quite oversalted for my taste and it kind of takes away the experience a bit. I liked it overall but would have loved it if they had salted kimchi just right. Strangely, there was no salt at all in the pickles and it was spicy!! I mean, I am ok with that but some of my friends who are hardcore pickle lovers would have problem with no salt pickles. The hand-cut fries was perfect though - neither too thin, nor thick. So it was nice and crunchy outside and moist inside. Overall, I like what I see. Yes, they are still setting things up. Currently there is lot of empty spaces, beer on tap missing and so on. But that's what the soft opening is for - to get feedbacks and make sure everything right before grand opening.

When the partner and I first ate here, we sensed that the place might be suffering from a bit of an identity crisis--ideas like the pork belly burger sounded like a great concept but were a little shaky in execution. I am especially wary of "fusion" restaurants, as most of the time it's a white chef slapping some kimchi on an American dish and proclaiming it genius. If you come to pijiu belly (mandarin for beer, though there's no chinese food on the menu...), don't fux around with anything but their rotisserie chicken, which is some of the best chicken I have ever eaten. It's a rather small but extremely flavorful bird, crispy on the outside and moist and tender inside. It comes with perfectly seasoned daikon radish pickles, which are lightly tangy and sweet. Do yourself a favor and get the perfectly caramelized Brussels sprouts as a side. Our server was refreshingly blunt when recommending beers and steered me away from a weird sour one, for which I (a beer noob) am eternally grateful. In short, Pijiu belly serves one of those rare things--a perfect meal. Get the chicken and dig in.

Now this is a place that has great customer service. The asian lady that was our waitress was so attentive and well-spoken. I was looking at the employees and trying to figure out if the place was Korean, and what do you know, they kind of are! The waitress said she was Japanese, but was raised in Korea. The small cubes of pickled radish that came with the rotisserie chicken kind of gave it away. Anyway, I kind of only had rotisserie chicken from Kroger that have been under the heat lamps, so this meal was definitely good. My partner and I shared a whole chicken instead of getting half chickens for the both of us and it was filling. I loved the barbecue sauce that came along with the chicken. Had to ask for more and she did not hesitate to serve us. I will be back, but the valet parking is kind of ridiculous.

Pretty impressed. Roasted Pork Belly sandwich- pork belly that's crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Hard to do much better than that. The deconstructed idea (lettuce tomatoes pickles on the side) kind of threw me off- I ended up just eating those things separately. The peach-hoisin jam was not as bold as I was expecting, but it worked anyway. The bun was toasted perfectly. All in all, a real winner. Brussel Sprouts- Like Joy W. mentioned...they were great. 'Nuff said. Sausage kimchi mayo over peppers- Interesting concoction of flavors- a real East meets West attempt. Not mind blowing, but not bad either. Rotisserie chicken- Crispy skinned chicken...usually that means good things. And this was no exception. Gotta try it. Sapporo on tap to round things off on a great meal. I'm definitely bringing the wifey and kid next time.

Pijiu means beer in Chinese. So Pijiu Belly means "Beer Belly." Get it? Actually, Pijiu Belly seems more Korean influenced. So It should've been, "Maekju Belly." But I can see them butchering the pronunciation of that name more than Pijiu. I tried their Rotisserie Chicken. It was good chicken. I thought it was too salty though. The meat at least wasn't too dry. I didn't like the BBQ sauce it came with. Since they are Korean influenced, I think they should've tried for Korean fried chicken instead of Rotisserie. I also tried their Ramyun. Because of the spelling, I would've assumed it was a more Korean-influenced Ramen. At first bite, I didn't think it was bad. But as I ate it more, I began to dislike it. I found the broth too sour. They need to tone down the sourness or just get rid of it. Instead of ramen, it reminded me more of Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup. It was a shock to my system when I was expecting a savory, spicy pork broth. Instead I was slapped in the face with the sour. They put a lot of junk in the ramyun too. Some ingredients seem unconventional like lotus roots, carrots, and bacon. I liked the poached egg though. The egg was cooked nicely. It also had pieces of lettuce and nori. They had other ingredients in there too. But I didn't feel all the ingredients fit together. Maybe I was expecting something more traditional, not something more fusion. Speaking of which, I would advise you not to get the Ramyun if you're expecting something traditional. The Ramyun seems like a fusion dish. It fuses all of Asia, not just Korea or Japan, and some Western influences. Since I am a fan of traditional ramen, I did not like this version. I would never get it again unless it turns more traditional. It seems all of their dishes come with pickled radish and pickled jalapeno. I like that. It's a nice touch. The insides look like a cool looking bar. They even have a cornhole game out in the front. Let me give you a tip: if you come in, sit on the low chairs, not the high chairs. The high chairs are the most uncomfortable things I sat on. I felt like I was sitting on a Judas Cradle. Maybe my bony butt couldn't handle it. If you have more cushion on your butt, maybe the high chair won't be too bad.

I've been to this restaurant a few times now. The first time was self parking and second time complimentary valet. The layout and decor is fantastic. They have darts and a random golf arcade game and 2 TVs above the bar. Drinks - great beer selection on tap. This is probably the highlight of the place, well priced beer! They also have a cocktail menu with something for everyone---feel like reliving those college days? Try the Everclear Red Solo cup drink (I didn't!). Rotisserie Chicken - 5/5 - This is the best rotisserie chicken I have ever had. There is a crispy skin with tender juicy yummy meat, plenty of food for one person. I may not be straying too far from this from now on. Pijiu Burger - 3/5 - There might be some quality control issues on this one. 3 people at the table ordered the burger and only 2 people received a runny yolk--I got a fully cooked egg. The burger itself was tasty--cooked how I like it....I just felt like I missed out on the entire experience without the runny yolk. Korean Ramyun - 1/5 - beautiful presentation with seaweed, bacon, pork, lotus, noodles, and other ingredients. I mixed it altogether and took a sip, AHHHHHHH! soooooooo salty--tasted like the dried seaweed snacks. I thought I might've just had a bad bite, so I tried the broth and noodles alone and both extremely salty--I sent it back and got the Rotisserie chicken. I love the feel of this restaurant and great beer selection. I will definitely be back, I hope they improve on the food preparation.

Service was awesome. The ambiance is great. HOWEVER: don't tell a Korean that he's getting traditional ramen and serve up anything otherwise. My boyfriend didn't even eat it. Korean ramen that is spicy should be bright red. This was a dark green color. Not only was it not traditional, it was just plain not good. It had a really sour smoky taste that was just off-putting. I do wish the waiter had correctly explained that the ramen dish was more Asian-fusion than Korean. Then, we probably wouldn't have ordered it. The kimchi burger was okay. The kimchi didn't have a lot of spice to it and it wasn't very fermented. The fries were super greasy. The burger was also well-done. All in all - I was super let down by our experience here. Maybe we just ordered the wrong items? Don't know...

I'm really, really confused by Pijiu Belly. Is it Korean? Southern? Bar food? Why is there an area with astroturf and picnic tables inside the restaurant, right next to candle-lit date-night tables? Why is everything served on metal BBQ trays, and why is country music playing? Why is there shuffleboard and Golden Tee next to the classy dark wood bar serving $13 craft cocktails? Why can't we drink on the patio? Why is it named after the Mandarin word for beer when the food is Korean/Southern/Japanese-ish? It's all quite perplexing, but I guess also endearing. Then there's the food. It's really high quality, and the price is great for what you get. The rotisserie chicken is tasty and pretty moist without being greasy. The accompanying BBQ beer sauce is fantastic. The bulgogi cheesesteak is flavorful. The daikon side is simple, fresh, and tasty, and the Brussel sprouts and collards are both good. Portions are large, and you'll have leftovers if you're not too hungry. This place should definitely be on your list, for both the great food and the mish-mash atmosphere weirdness.

Super good place to hang out, have some beer and great food. I love their tater tot, house kimchi, grilled chicken, and their burgers. The house PiJiu burger and pork belly burger are both delicious and great fusion of Korean and American food. All of them go well with beers too! There are also entertainments for people to drink beer after meals too. They have darts, game tables and seem to be expending. All the staffs are friendly and warm. It's just the best place to eat, relax and have fun after work!

I love it. I've been for brunch a few times and love both the chicken/waffles and omelette with ground beef and kimchi. The banh mi is a good choice for dinner but wish it was on a crusty baguette. That's my only beef with this place other than parking can be a little challenging. The local craft beer selection is robust and atmosphere laid back and fun.

Tried this new restaurant for brunch. It has a nice feel located on tenth street near Georgia Tech. It is truly a pub but I liked the setup. The bar is to the front of the restaurant and the tables are behind the bar. My wife ordered a Bloody Mary which she said was absolutely delicious! It had a wonderful spicy tang to it. For lunch we decided to share the rotisserie chicken and waffles. and fried brussel sprouts to share. The chicken portion was large, a full half chicken. The waffles were OK although I wish they were a little more crisp to stand up to the chicken. The chicken had a wonderful crisp skin, the only problem is that to crisp the skin it most likely made the chicken dry, especially the breast. Flavor was good but the dryness took away from the enjoyment of the dish. The brussel sprouts were good but nothing special. I will say the value for the dish was good at $12. The restaurant definitely has potential. The menu is varied and prices are good. Obviously they cater to the students and younger clientele nearby. Service was very friendly. I will give them a try again to sample some other items on the menu.

I'm not sure I'll be able to give this place justice, but I'll definitely try. The servers are awesome. They're super nice, personable, and down to earth. It's a definite plus that they don't wear uniforms because it really just seems like you're talking to a friend. (Weird, I know.) But they're super professional and cool. The. Food. Was. Amazing. I had the pork belly sandwich and my bf had the rotisserie chicken. Apparently, he got the last piece of chicken for the night so they gave us....ALL THE SIDES ON THE MENU! Everything was amazing! Our favorite was the brussels spouts. I just got him to start eating brussels sprouts about a month ago, and he barely let me have any of theirs. Mine are good, but theirs but mine to shame. Yummy! The Daikan was our second favorite side. Simply but yummy. I'm not a fan of kimchi no matter who makes it, but he seemed to have enjoyed it. I absolutely demolished my pickled cucumbers. Yum yum yum. The cilantro-lime rice was pretty good, but the more you ate, the less flavor it had. :( Now on to the entrees. #smash My pork belly burger was so good that I had to take another look at it and shake my head. Who MAKES food that good? Oh. Pijiu belly does. SO GOOD. SO GOOD. My boyfriend demolished his chicken, which came with some sauce that he couldn't get enough of. Two entrees, plenty of sides, and two beers for under $40? We'll be back!

The star is for the absolutely OUTSTANDING SERVICE! WOW!! However, since I went to eat... Pork belly. Pork intestines. Kinda close, right? Pork intestines are also known as chitlins or chitterlings. I've never been interested in eating chitlins- not as a child when my kuntry relatives smelled up their kitchens with them, and added greens as a side dish, and certainly not now with an entire restaurant and VERY ABBREVIATED menu dedicated to them. Should you decide that you don't want the pork intestines cousin, the pork belly, you can get nachos (Taco Bell's are just as good, and Del Taco's are better), or a burger. Friends did have the chicken they're "known" for, and said it was tasty. Been here and done that.

There is a mixed feeling about this place. I was very excited about the restaurant, it's name and concept. However, I wish it used fresher and higher quality meat. But yes, I love kimchi and burgers :)

Great rotisserie chicken and Brussels sprouts; one of the best I've had. Poutine was not bad as well.

5 stars.

This place is so good. I've never had a bad meal and my kids also enjoy it. Well priced and good quality and tasty food. They also have games board and others you can play.

5 stars.

Great place to eat. I have tried several items from the menu and everything was fresh and tasty. The rotisserie chicken was so amazing and the Brussel sprout salad was crisp and fresh with a kick! The owners are super nice! Great menu
