The inside is nice but the staff is terrible! I got a beer for $5 then went to sit at a booth. I got up for a second and this jerk takes my seat then throws my purse on the floor and my new beer. I went to the security guard and he just laughed. Thanks a lot! The guy kept trying to get in the table and dance with the stripper but they didn't do anything. It would have been nice to get a replacement beer or something. Then I got the nastiest rum and coke in the world which was $10! I ended up getting food poison from it! Stay away if you want to have fun!

What a sad place. Be prepared to be harassed by security, poor wait staff attitude, poor organization, tacky dressed ppl and the thick stench of smoke. I went on a Saturday night, walk up to the front door and the woman is so unorganized...she has about seven different "VIP list" she couldn't find so many names so of course I wasn't expecting her to find mine. I walk in and barely stood still for a second without a security guard informing me I couldn't stand in a particular area. All night security is basically harassing patrons on appropriate standing areas. All appears to be a ploy to make you get a VIP section. Paid 20 to get in 10 parking and left less than 2hrs later. Couldn't take it any more in there. I would never attend this spot again unless drastic changes were made. Horrible.

Never again! $20 for two drinks and $20 for a cover charge. On top of that, this place was not for those who dress up. There were a lot of people in street clothes and almost 99% of people were either standing, smoking, or drinking. No one was dancing or trying to dance. Harlem Nights is a waste of money and time, so do yourself a favor and don't even think about going to this place.

I could see why this place has such a negative rating.. But I gave it 4 stars and here is why!! I arrived here for a friends bday party and was told you had to be there by 10 to get in free! So my friend and I were there at 9:50 to ensure we would get in. They held the line for about 30 mins which is ok to me. I have never been to a club that didn't hold the line in Atlanta!-makes the club look like its poppin so that's what they do. We get inside and we are the 1st ones in so granted it was boring for like the first hour as ppl start trickling in. There were more VIP sections then regular club space which was a bummer and the dance floor could be bigger but for what it is its not bad. The music was good and ppl seem to have a good time! I only knock them off a star cause the drinks were expensive to me at $10 per. I bought 2 at $20 and the bartender gave me the most rudiest look because I ain't tip her! Bring your house money if you want to have a good time else go elsewhere! You been warned!!! And another note... To those who expected free parking in Atlanta needed to stay home. Parking is never free in atl but there were $5 lots everywhere so suck it up and pay the $5!

I went there on Friday night, August 30,2013 to celebrate a friend's birthday. It is not really a lounge unless they are referring to daylight hours, and daylight hours ONLY. I was shocked to see women not dressed up, and for the ones like myself who were, we were overdressed. If I ever go there again, I will not be wearing heels. Guys had on tennis shoes, jeans, and t-shirts and/or a nice casual sweater. The line outside wasn't too bad. I waited about 20 min, and then I was in. They allow smoking inside, so if you don't mind going home smelling like smoke, then you'll be fine in that area. The music was nice and loud, and the DJ kept the crowd moving. Parking was $15.00 at a lot about a block away. Nice and secure, and off the street. The entrance to the lot is inside of a building, with elevators, so again, nice. I do not drink, so I cannot comment on drinks and prices of them. All in all, would I go back? Maybe. I'm not ruling it out, but it wouldn't be a first choice of mind to have a party at.

Drove by this place on a Tuesday night celebrating Hubby's birthday and the place looked dead, so needless to say we kept on driving.

The only thing cool about it was we got in free. Our vip section was non existant. My folk bday was suppost to hav a section and it wasn't their. Stuffy smokey and loud. It was deep n rockn. Just wear FLATS! No sitn area...ITS NOT A LOUNGE ITS A CLUB!

Okay soooooo I tried. lol I actually went to this place last night on a Friday and was just in utter disappointment. Number one, I was ready to turn around when they were allowing people to walk in there wearing damn near anything! There were guys and gals wearing attire that should've been kept at home. This was actually my second time there and I was trying to be optimistic! The last straw was when I was asked to move from a small ball stool and table that was no more than 3 ft in diameter because the girl was selling it! Are you F- ing' kidding me!? First I feel that she should've offered to sell it to me first since I was already sitting there. Secondly there was no "reserved" card on this table at all. I've been to upscale venues all across the country and the protocol is always the same. There's a VIP section roped-off with security and all tables for sell will have reserved cards! Never again! People weren't even dancing so it was weak in that sense anyway! The only reason I didn't leave earlier is because I already paid $10 to park. Epic fail! 2 Thumbs down!!!!

This us not an upscale spot. They let guys in with baggy clothes, hats, and even a girl with workout clothes. There IS NOT A DRESS CODE!!! The only reason I went is because my weekend guest's cousin (I know) said they had a VIP section and a bottle. I figure ok...at least we cam sit down. We got to the door and she was not even on the list. Luckily we got there early enough to still get in for free. The music was ok. Typical hip hop stuff that plays on the radio. But the crowd is just ratchet!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing wrong with it if that's what you like, but I'm just a lot older and like a more upscale vibe. Will not go back.

I am writing my review based upon their business practices. I don't know how this business got my cell number but they send me text messages non-stop for various venues. I have never been here and don't even live in Atlanta. Please, do not support businesses that use unsolicited SPAM to try and drum up business.

I liked the place. The wait staff was courteous to me and my girlfriend. The bartender was awesome. It's a nice place but everyone is welcome. It's not a snooty, high-brow establishment.

I went here last night. My friends and I had VIP so we were able to have our own section. There were people coming into our sections and "pretending" to be apart of our large group. The drinks were good, but some of the staff members were a bit rude. I felt like I was a tad bit over dressed as well. It was just OKAY to me, nothing spectacular...this isn't a place I would consider myself to be going back to very often, but its okay if its a last minute decision.

I will NEVER go here again. I went on a Friday night for my old roommates birthday. While she is ratchet (consult the urban dictionary), but I thought maybe, just maybe she would step her game up for 23. Where do I begin..... The emailed flyer and txt that I received from the promoter boasted free parking for women until 12. We get there and the guy tells us that that was false advertisements. I know this is Atlanta, and you have to pay to park. However, it blows me how people can just set up cones and charge people at will. Moving on. We were supposed to be on a free bday list. We get in the VIP line, and the girl doesn't even see the list with our names. She lets us through and says "oh it's still $20 though." WTF?? So we get in the regular line until the bday girl gets there. One of the guests isn't on the bday list so my friend waits in line with her until she can get in. My friend (whose name is on the bday list) has to pay to get in, even though the promoter assured her that she wouldn't. We get in and have a section, but it's nowhere near the dance floor. It's pretty secluded, and the two parties beside us keep overflowing into our section. So we go to get our free women drinks, and we don't even get asked what we want. We are poured some concoction by the bartender, in which I can't recognize anything in it (and I'm an avid drinker). My two friends who walk up after me get completely ignored by the bartender. I guess she was tired of pouring free drinks and not getting tipped. It's funny because we know she is ignoring them bc there wasn't a whole lot of people standing in front of us. We walk away. The bday girl was told that she would get a free champagne bottle bc it was her bday, BUT we would have to tip the cocktail waitress $30 for delivering the drink. The scene was wack!! My 18 year old cousin was in there poppin her coochie right beside my 60 year old grandma poppin hers singing "It's my birthday y'all!!" (No but seriously that was the age range). If you have read this far, I'm sure you have sympathized with the ratchetness that I had to endure for the night. I hate black clubs. There I said it, and I'm not ashamed either. The crowds are never diverse, I am always over dressed, and I don't know half of the songs being played. I will skip bday parties of the nature from here on out. I hear the food is good?

This has got to be the WORST establishment that I have visited. I was looking for a Hip Hop/ R&B club that was near the area. I heard radio advertisment for this club for months so I assume that it would be great. Boy, was I wrong. There is $10 parking and a $20 cover charge. The security does a 10 minute pat down and throws items that are liquid or has the potential to cause bodily injury to anyone in the bushes and tells you, "It will be there when you come back". Inside is spacious but the dance floor is wet with empty glasses and beer bottles on the ground i witness 2 women slip and fall. Terrible and a lawsuit waiting to happen. I felt like I was the oldest person at the club and I am 27! There is no dress code and men wore caps, jerseys and hoodies in this place. Needless to say, I will not go back. I rather pay extra money to be around an older crowd then to be caught in the hood nursery again.

I would like to comment on the horrible service that was provided for us who were the Birthday girls at Harlem Nights . It was the worst experience that the staff provided to us. Everything was extremely chaotic, disorganized, and unruly. While we booked the Birthday package, we were promised that our guests get in free of charge before 11:30. That did not happen at all. The event coordinator never told us our guests had to wait in the General Admission line. Our expectations were not met. Our guests stood in line from since 10pm and were not allowed to get into the club due to the over an hour wait. She did not brief us on what to expect. The only information that was given to us was that our guests get in free before 11:30pm which was false. We were also promised that our guests would've been escorted to our paid seating area and that never took place. Also, I was never reimbursed the $5 that she owed me cause she didn't have change when we initially booked the event. Moreover, our waitress was an extreme disappointment because she only came once to our table and that is unacceptable. She possessed a rude and unprofessional demeanor. This was by far the worst experience that we encountered. This experience was horrific. We felt that we did not get our money's worth.

My husband and i decided to check out this spot after a show. My husband was reluctant because it didnt seem lively from the outside. We both got in free and i really enjoyed myself. The setup is great, good VIP area and the dj was really on point. The only downside was the smoke from smokers. it wasnt totally smoke out , so it was cool. I will definitely return to this spot.

I went there on Saturday night, September 14,2013 to watch the Mayweather fight. My friend and I arrived around 9PM. We were able to park for free in the parking deck behind the club, which was one on very few pros about this club. We then, waited in line for like 20 minutes....not bad.....only to find out there were more workers inside than patrons......booooo! We got in free so far...so it wasn't the worst....I thought...but then... First we tried to find a seat only to be told it was a $150 tab minimum to sit there (club ratio 95% VIP seating compared to 5% regular seating)...Luckily we found a seat near the bathroom probably the last free table there. They had given us a free cocktail ticket at the door on the way in, which I thought that's nice...only to have been served a glass of peach lemonade...really...did not taste one drop of alcohol. We decided to then to order something to eat and a cocktail. After waiting and waiting no waitress ever came over......finally after basically throwing myself at this Estelle wannabe, did we get service. We both ordered the catfish nuggets......BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!! They tasted funny and I had to send them back. The manager came over and apologized and adjusted my bill accordingly. I then tasted my $10 Margarita, only to taste nothing but Margarita mix....We never saw the waitress again.....If your looking for the VIP experience, sparklers and all...I'd say give Harlem Nights a chance.....but if your not interested in buying out the bar...this club...just might not be right for you. This club left a bad taste in my mouth....literally!

Went there for New Years Eve and it was nice. We paid $40 to skip the long free line and it was worth it. Drinks were okay a little on the watered down side but I expected that. Wasn't extremely crowded as I thought it would be but I enjoyed myself. Hosea Chanchez aka Malik Wright from the Show The Game was there. Now I'm originally from New York and see celebs all the time but if one is in a club in NYC the club charges an arm and a leg. They did not. Thank you. Did not stay all night maybe about an hour. But if I ever return to Atlanta with my sisters we would definitely hit this spot up.

Why is this labeled as a restaurant? At one point it was when it was under different management. It is actually called Harlem Nights Ultra Lounge... Let's just call it the hood club. Yes, you can get chicken but you can get weed too! Oh, wait did I say that??? So coming here on a Friday night isn't my thing anymore....

I went to Harlem Nights Ultra Lounge on a Saturday night. I arrived around 11:30pm. It was a nice crowd. However, there are 3 bar areas inside of lounge...which oddly charge different prices for the SAME drink. I order a vodka and tonic for $5.00 bucks then again for $10.00 ....confused face:( . Overall my experience was nice. It has been awhile since I enjoyed the club scene. But I must say it was pleasant.

FRIDAY NIGHT REVIEW: Friday is hip hop night. 1st of all lets change the name of this restaurant to club. The lines are long, the place is SUPER CROWDED. We got there @ 1150 paid $20 to skip the line and was in by 1205ish. When we walked in, well let me rephrase after we made it through the first set of doors there was people from WALL to WALL so we slid in. Parking is $5-$10. The free birthday sections look cool, but I couldn't tell the difference in those and the ones people actually paid for. That's good for the people who don't pay. There's really no dance floor. People dance or sway all around the "vip/birthday" sections bc of the limited space. Bartenders free hand the drinks, so I love it! I wouldn't consider this place upscale. I don't believe there's a dress code. People were dressed in everything from club gear to grocery store shopping attire. I really did appreciate the guy to girl ratio. There was waaay more guys there than girls. :-)

I had already assumed this place was ratchet so I was surprised to learn that is was rather normal. I went on a Saturday night, emailed my name, got in free. It's smaller than I expected. The bar/sitting area is much bigger than the actual dance floor. I don't particularly like clubs I just went because a cute girl invited me. It's the typical club environment. Crowd isn't exactly Atlanta's top socialites but it's not too ratchet either. All in all it was okay. Typical club.

I usually always have a great time when I go here. It's live and the DJ is always on point. The club is a nice size with a few different areas to walk to. However, don't go on a night when they're having a "special" guest, like for instance last night it was Fabulous. Just about every worker at the club acted very hollyHOOD, too brand new for me. But I'm not gonna let that alter my opinion of the club, I just know when to go and not go. Will I go there anytime soon again? No, but I'll definitely be back in the summer ;).

I don't really care for night clubs, but I went out with friends to celebrate their birthdays. We had a V.I.P. section that was basically on the dance floor, which there wasn't much of. They also serve food, but if you're not in V.I.P. there isn't much room to eat (besides the bar area). I tried the fried shrimp and they were very good. I'd come back for the food, but not to party.
