You know those Japanese restaurants in the mall? It's kind of like that, but worse. I got the chicken teriyaki. It's pretty much average with a bed of rice and veggies. The food was just kind of...bleh. Not overall tasty, and was oily. I felt worse leaving than I did coming in. Looking at the reviews, it's possible I just had a bad batch. They do cook everything to order, so at least you know it's fresh. The prices are okay and portion size is huge, so you definitely won't be hungry leaving here. All of that being said, I would take Panda Express over this any day.

I've passed this place at least 100 times while shopping nearby and always make a mental note to try it out. Finally, I did this week. I was so impressed! I ordered the beef teriyaki bento box and was NOT disappointed. It came with edamame, 1 California roll, fried rice, protein choice, and salad. The sushi roll was generic/premade and the ginger salad dressing was not 'real' ginger... but for $9 or so- I'd call it a win. Amazing lunch spot. The beef really was delicious.

I've been here maybe 4-5x the past 8 months... and each time it's been a good experience Parking - It's actually pretty decent. Yes, there are lots of other shops, but parking is fine. I personally like to walk around a little before/after my meals just so I can burn off the calories. They do make the food right in front of you - so it's hard to get an absolute bad batch. It can happen, but not to the point where you have to take it back. Each time my batch has been good. No complaints. Location - So, after I shop around, I'm usually starving. I'm not a huge fan of Mexican, so I rather come here. It's pretty cheap too. And usually no crazy lines. The folks here are really nice. I've never had bad service. Plus you can go get Sbux right next door for a nice dessert :) Quality - So this is the part where I'm kind of ashamed, ha. Back in my hometown, we had a similar shop in the mall. It tastes the same... and I actually liked the one back home. Plus the teriyaki sauce is great. So I'm accustomed to what I'm eating at Extreme Teriyaki. If you're looking for a fancy place - you *might* want to go somewhere else. This place is more of a... "I'm shopping & hungry & want something quick to eat" kind of shop. Which isn't a bad thing at all!

Worst Japanese food I've ever had.... Like worse even than mall Asian food. I watched them slop a mixture that vaguely resembled chicken onto the grill and when I tried it, it was chewy and gross. One bite and I threw it away.

Was shopping in the area and kept eyeing this place for a good minute and just said let me go in and check this place out.The 1st thing that grabbed me was the greeting as I stepped in the door and with that I looked at the menu and placed my order which did not take long at all and was please with the chicken teriyaki and was VERY filling and hot as in temp. AS full as I was I did manage to finish my shopping but this place is worth the trip to visit,

I found this restaurant through Google offers. The place looks clean and friendly, but I was dead wrong. The workers in this place are quite rude and condescending when you tried to use the google offers coupon. They told me that I cannot use the coupon since they do not honor that any longer, but I just received that coupon on the same day. I am a big fan of Japanese food; however, I do not approve the service of this restaurant at all. It was my first time ordering food from this place, but I went to boston market right across the street. The service and food at Boston Market is much better than this poopy place. I advise you all the stay away from this restaurant.

I've never been TO this place. However, the gf likes to pop in and bring home teriyaki chicken with rice and veggies on some weeknights, when cooking isn't going to happen. Their teriyaki chicken is SPOT ON and delicious!! LOVE it! The rice is average, no biggie, but then they kinda mess the whole thing up with this strange, soggy, veggie mix. The fix for that? REMIND them that you don't want veggies. By the way, large portion of chicken- quite filling. $5.99. Gooooooooood deal!

I came in here on accident thinking it was panda express but I'm glad I walked in I had the fried shrimp tempura and the chicken and shrimp teriyaki noodles and it was absolutely delicious, I only had to wait five minutes and I was out of there munching down on a great meal! It's very clean they have tables and chairs, they have parking for everyone and it's not so busy!

Ran as a fast food Japanese restaurant, this little place offers nothing new. After placing an order from the front with the choices of either fried rice or white, you'll wait a quick 5 minutes for your dish. There are other decisions that could be considered, such as a limited selection of rolls. The typical spicy tuna and California rolls are offered, but are a let down. It is amazing how quickly you'll receive your food and it's not bad for the price, just not as satisfying as it could be. The chicken can come a bit bland and the sauce can be a little too salty. The service is nonexistent, but that is to be expected at a fast food restaurant. Overall it's a decent place for some cheap grilled eats, but wouldn't place it as a top choice either.

I'm writing this review, not because this place is memorable, but because I want to be the first. The lady working the front register seemed particularly miserable, but got my order right.. so... there's always that. I ordered the chicken teriyaki combo. This is is your classic food court japanese fast food type set up. They have some bento boxes, some standard rolls. You can choose your meat, rice/fried rice or noodles. They also will grill you up some veggies. My bottled water was only 49 cents. So that is definitely star worthy. The food itself was Ok/Meh. It was about exactly as I expected it to be, but if you are in this plaza, don't want to deal with the traffic on Howell Mill and can't fathom the idea of eating at La Parilla another time this week, this is a reasonably priced, decent option to switch it up. I would not make a special trip to go there by any stretch. I also smell like like a teriyaki Pheeby now. And that girl at the front was really miserable. This place truly is a meh, but they are new, so 3 stars it is. Note: they do not take AMEX

Honestly, this is some pretty good food! Granted, I only have gotten the Chicken Teriyaki combo ... but it is always some pretty good chicken teriyaki. And at $5.99 for the entree (the chicken, rice...either fried or white, & vegetables). I would compare it to the same kind you would get from a mall food court - but better (& probably cheaper!). I hate that other people have gotten bad service in other reviews - but every time I go I have had some pleasant service. I think with every place - it's hit or miss with service. So in my experience - the service has been really good. Try it out! The teriyaki chicken has never let me down!

It was pretty good. Got the chicken teriyaki and white rice in a bento box. Chicken could've been chopped more and It's not as cheap as I thought. The sauce and salad dressings are good. The sushi is not the best because it tastes refrigerated and it was really cold. I might go back might not.

Service here is worse every time I come here. Afraid this is my last. I was excited when they opened but each time they get my order wrong by not listening. This last time I called in ahead she was rude and then hung up on me. When I called back the man I talked to was even more rude and short. Could've been a good addition to the Westside but oh well. I'm gonna keep looking. You should too

Been here a few times and I'm always satisfied by the quality of the food and portion size. Easily put it's some of the best hibachi style take-out you can get in the area. It's Highly affordable with a sensible variety. Grab some when you're visiting Howell Mill!

I've tried a little bit of everything on the menu and I've never had any complaints. The maki rolls are great same with the dumplings.

Quick Japanese food. Food was cooked at the right temperature and had a descent portion. I had one portion and ate it for both lunch and dinner. Had a 2 combo (chicken and shrimp) with noodles and a small amount of vegetables. Would have preferred more vegetables will ask next time. Plenty of sauce and even gave unique complimentary sauces (ginger - that had a 1 pepper but wasn't spicy at all). Service wasn't the best, they were nice, but distracted with talking to each other. But, for a quick meal I'll go again

Have enjoyed several delicious lunches at this tiny restaurant in the mammoth strip center near Howell Mill and I-75. Lots of tasty stir-fried dishes, as well as bento boxes and sides. Servings are ample and staff are friendly and helpful. Plus, their health rating was 100, a rare achievement in the fast-food world.

The hibachi chicken was absolutely disgusting. Atleast that's what it was supposed to be. They got my order wrong twice, so I just ate whatever it was they gave me the 3rd time. Chin Chin, in the Kroger shopping center next door, has the best Chinese food in Atlanta, along with sushi & other Asian food. Go there. Avoid Extreme teriyaki at all costs.
