I can't speak to the brunch but I've had lunch there 3-4 times. Good service. They now have a liquor license so maybe I'll go after work. Will definitely keep them in my lunch rotation.

This place is AMAZING! We walked in skeptical since we never eat around this area. Now after eating here we see why people love living in Atlanta. This restaurant meets all the needs of a customer. Quick service! We walked in and were seated instantly. Our server acknowledged we were newcomers and quickly explained the entire menu without us having to ask! Within 5 minutes we were ready to order! I ordered the ribeye philly cheese steak. I'm a huge Philly cheesesteak fan, and this exceeded my expectation!!! Definitely come here and try these guys out.

Not sure what the bad reviews are all about but I vow to update you all on my next return so you know what the real deal is. So I stumbles upon this place because I was starving as I left an event next door at Joystick. It happened to be Tuesday...and everybody knows Tuesdays are the best specials at most places. Sooooo...it was $2 tacos. I order one beef and one fish...let's just say the seasonings were on point and the fish was crispy. The tacos were yummy... But that's all I can vouch for so far. The vibe in their is wild West carribean. Really cool looking and I know they have a DJ. I am not sure of the crowd yet because it was empty on my arrival. I heard grown and sexy was on a Thursday. And they also have karaoke. So I am going to visit this place again soon. I will update you all on food, vibe, and events. Also...all staff and service were helpful and excellent. Drinks on point! Fresh strawberry margarita and flavored mojitos? I say yes. Also...its on Edgewood so you already know parking is wack. Meters are free during the week 7pm or later and there are a few random lots.

Worst restaurant ever! Please don't "pizza" on your menu if you're going serve it RAW ingredients on a burnt toast! So let me explain how I came to my fate of receiving this piece of crap! I was told EATZ was one of the few spots that served food late night on Edgewood so of course I take my girlfriend to grab a bite. When I automatically walk in I was hit with the aroma of weed. I had 1 waitress's completely ignore me so when the 2nd one arrive I gladly ordered a GOURMET PIZZA. Please look it up on the see the ingredients; does any of it say "COOKED ON TOAST WITH RAW VEGGIES & UNCOOKED CHEESE ". I gave it back to the kitchen and they returned it in the same condition but WITH MORE BURNT TOAST! I will be asking management for refund today.

Remember I told you the FOOD was actually good at this place? So much so, that I actually found myself craving one of the simple but so nicely well put together and tasty ham and cheese sandwiches and an order of breakfast potatoes. So- I drove over. WOW!!!!! What an AMAZING spot this place is!!! It should be a night spot or club! Beautiful!!!!!! Anyway, because it's so open, it was as drafty and cold inside as it was outside. I ate in my coat and winter hat- inside. Nice young man (someone's teen son?) was my server. Food didn't disappoint. I shouldn't have to ask you for a Coke each time my glass is empty, young man. I dunno. I think I'll just go in and pick it up to go from now on. Up to 3 stars! I'll be back for take-out.

Wow. I had high hopes for this place but the brunch is awful. First, everything is overpriced, especially as compared to my beloved Thumbs Up down the street. Second, ham omelette was no better than you could do at home. Third, pancakes were a hot mess. Doughy and no fluff at all. Lastly, Gouda grits would have been ok but for the large dose of garlic powder. Two stars bc the service was great. The coffee is good too.

It's taken me awhile to write this review. I've tried to forget about my experience, but the world needs to know. I live a few blocks away and was really looking forward to supporting these folks. Part of the neighborhood. New business. Love it. I came in alone for brunch with a book to read. Walked in, deserted. A young female (teens) with headphones in her ears approached me and told me to sit wherever I'd like. Ok. I was the only person in the enormous restaurant. Ordered an egg croissant sandwich. Asked if they could add avocado. Read my book. She was very talkative. With my actions and lack of engaging conversation I tried to non-verbally communicate I was there to eat & read. She wasn't havin' it. & also continued to talk to her pal on her phone through her headphones...while she served me. She delivered my tragic egg sandwich. Tragic. And stood there waiting for me to take my first bite. Awkward. It was...pitiful. My father who only eats jerky & chili from a can could have done better. Best part. The avocado. While my waitress is waiting there, I'm chewing, the chef yells out to me. (There is an open window between the dining area & the kitchen.) He asks if he cut the avocado correctly. This chef....asks me...if he did his job correctly. And no, no he hadn't. He literally cut it like an apple. With the skin still on. The rind was still on the avocado slices. In addition to that, it was hard as a rock. It was so unripe I couldn't bite into it. I told him I'd teach him how to do it. I finished my heartbreaking croissant, & was so upset that I paid $12+ for it, that I left immediately after paying my bill. They seem to be busier lately, I think they got their liquor license. Womp womp.

Pros: food is pretty good, they serve alcohol, nice decor Cons: service is abysmal. I could write an entire essay on how poorly run this place is, but it wouldn't be worth the effort.

I don't think I can express how disappointed I was with my Sunday brunch. The inside is more of a rustic set up which is different and nice, the servers are very friendly, but the food is down right awful! It took us about 30 minutes to get our food and when it arrived it wasn't even right. The chicken and waffles is two chicken fingers and a waffle that you could just make at home. Overall the food taste was about a C- nothing special. Highly don't recommend coming here. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area that have way better food. I normally don't give out bad reviews but there wasn't much positive to work with. This place won't be here long.

Just the facts. Nice venue, jazz was fabulous Tom Woods and Julie Dexter. We had a large crowd. After 2 hours still no food. My friends left. I stayed to see if the food would ever come. Finall 2.5 hours later veggie omlette, and grits. No hashbrowns. I do not write negative reviews, i just state the facts, you choose if you want to go.

Not so delightful!! Don't let the decor fool you... Service is horrible and no one is here (should have been a clue when other bars and restaurants were packed). Food isn't good at all... And the service is even worse. It should have 1/2 a star option on Yelp!

Are you f#%*ing kidding me!! This was truly my worst food & experience of all time in Atlanta! Stay away!! Wanting some delivery we decided to get on Grub Hub and get some tasty breakfast. We ordered a croissant breakfast sandwich, grits, 2 biscuits and eggs cooked well. What we got 45 minutes later was way overpriced garbage. First they sent us three croissants with slimy, half cooked scrambled eggs (I mean how do you screw up scrambled eggs), and half cooked bacon. No biscuits were delivered and the grits were seriously friggin' asphalt! So I got in the car and brought them the food back to fix it or refund. They would do neither. They said because I took one, one, bite of the croissant it was partially eaten. Contacted Grub Hub to get it fixed. They called them and had no luck either. Fortunately they were nice and apologized for this crappy place. Delightful Eatz?? NO!! Disgusting Feetz

So my colleagues and I gave this place another shot- 3rd time's the charm, right? I'm finding it difficult to find the words to express just how repugnant the "food" is that this establishment has to offer. All of our orders were wrong once again. Weighing my options I figured its better than starving. As it turns out perhaps I was incorrect as this meal was so low quality I actually felt toxic eating this garbage. And the cost! Almost $50 for three entrees that would honestly be collectively priced at $15, tops. PLEASE do yourself a favor and avoid this poor excuse of an eatery.

Despite all the bad reviews, I love this place! Found it on accident one sunday when my roommate and I were looking for a brunch spot in the Edgewood area. Even though it was fairly empty, the vibe and atmosphere was very nice. Trendy décor, old school hip-hop playing and very nice servers. My roommate got the Chicken & Waffles, and I got the salmon & grits with a side of mac & cheese. The mac & cheese was DELICIOUS

Let's face it. Look at my review and all the other reviews. This place is nasty and has horrible ownership/management. The food was cold and I could have cooked an omelette better than them and I'm a college student with poor cooking skills to begin with. It's overpriced as well. I'd rather save my $15 BEFORE tip (I tipped anyways out of pity) and buy some cereal at the grocery store, because Kellogg's can make a better brunch than "unDelightful Eatz"

Stopped in on a Wednesday @ 10am. Only customer in place. Bad sign? It took 20+ minutes to get a sloppy, wet omelet and lukewarm grits! With an oj my bill was $15. The interior is nicely done but everything I touched seem to be falling apart. Skip it and go 2 Waffle House.

The location was around the corner from mlk visiting center which was convient. The house music was lovely but there was no host, we asked for menu twice & water. The wait for food was backed up so we left.

ROACHES IN THE FOOD! I only went here because Café 458 was closed Memorial Weekend, but when I walked in I was struck by the beautiful décor. I was eventually seated with my party and we proceeded to order. After 40 minutes of waiting we still hadn't received our food so my sister had to cancel her order so that she could get to work on time. Now, mind you, she ASKED if her meal would be out soon before she ordered. About 15 minutes after she left the food finally came out. One plate at a time in 10 minute increments. The grits were cold and lumpy, but I didn't complain...until..... I saw a spot of pepper that was larger than all of the other spots. I isolated the spot and noticed that it had legs. Instead of throwing up all over the place I discreetly told the waitress that there was a bug in my food and that it was on the side of the plate if she wanted to take a look. Unfortunately, the other people in my party saw me picking through my food and their appetite was now gone. The owner came over, very annoyed, but agreed to comp my meal and take 15% off of everyone's bill, but not before she gave me a lecture about how she has an exterminator come to her bldg. 2x per month and how she uses spices in her food and what I thought was a bug was probably a spice. I turned to her with a smile on my face and said "I understand, but spices usually don't have legs". I asked for the check because my children did eat and I wanted to pay for their food, but when the check came the owner forgot to take the 15% off so we notified the waitress. The owner then came back furious and said these words "I'll do it this time, but I am extremely offended, blah, blah, blah...." and I, now infuriated also, threw discretion to the wind and yelled "So, you're offended that YOU have roaches in YOUR food?!?!? BRING... THE.... CHECK!" She said that everyone already had their checks so I proceeded to usher my children out of the door. I had such high hopes for this place. Its in my normal hangout spot, the place is beautiful, and it's black-owned. The moment that I walked in, I thought it would be a great spot for me and my co-workers to hang out. The owner reallllly needs to stay in the kitchen and check what the Orkin man is spraying because it's not working.

My first and my last experience at Delightful Eatz :-(! I had heard the food and decor was good, well the decor was definitely good but the food was horrible. The waitress was very personable but her waitress skills was poor because she only checked on us three times. My daughter ordered the overpriced personal pizza ($7.00). It's took way over 30 mins to come out. As soon as it did we all just looked at it as if it was a joke. It clearly was a frozen grocery store bought pizza and they added some spices to it. It was even lukewarm. She took 2 bites and was disgusted. I asked the waitress to take it back, of which she tried to accompany us but by that time I was disgusted. Now here comes the kicker. After that the waitress never once came back to see if we wanted anything else. I had to get another waitress to ask her for the manager. By the way it took her too long to come to our table so I commence to go the kitchen to talk to her. She ask me what happened and I explained our dislike of the pizza and she tells me with an attitude that my daughter only ate 2 bites. I was so put off by that statement! No apology, no comping of our ticket, NOTHING AT ALL! With an attitude like that and horrible food DELIGHTFUL EATZ will not be around long. I would never ever recommend this place, not even to a person who served 20 yrs coming out of prison :-(!!!
