This Chipotle is really stingy on meat. My husband and I usually order one rice bowl at night since the amount of food is a lot by asking extra rice and extra chicken (for an addition of $2.5, I believe). All the Chipotle we have gone usually give one spoon of chicken for standard or one and a half spoons of chicken if you want extra. This place was different in amount of meat they gave. The standard amount of chicken is a half of spoon. If you ask extra chicken, they added a little more (in total, probably, less than a spoon). We often eat at Chipotle, so we know what we talk. We will never come back at this Chipotle.

This might be my favorite Chipotle location, minus the traffic, but i've always loved the interior with all the Chipotle restaurants, with its industrial type display, wooden benches and shiny metal makes it look like the bare necessities restaurant, and I think their ingredients mirror that. Nice crispy peppers and onions with their cilantro rice are good on their own but add your choice of beef, chicken, veggie or pork and now you're talking. I had the steak burrito bowl without any beans, and the flavor is great. My guilty pleasure are their lime flavored chips. I don't order them often but man are they good. You're looking at about 6 bucks for the burrito/bowl itself and you can add guac/chips for a small fee. I'll literally drive a few miles out of the way for Chipotle so i'm definitely a fan. Definitely try this.

Still skimping on portions...I'm done with this location. I usually wouldn't complain about something like this, but I'm paying for double meat and getting the equivalent of a single serving from other locations. Lame...

Chain or not, I love Chipotle. I'm addicted to the carnitas. Last night I was super hungry after a late evening hair appointment so I went with the carnitas burrito and guacamole and chips. For people who always order the black beans, try to resist your automatic "black beans" response and try the pinto beans. The pinto beans have so much more flavor. I agree with Stephen G. They don't give you as much meat as they used to give you. Lately I've come to find this is the case at other Chipotle locations. With the economy in the can I see a lot of restaurants cutting back on their portions. I really do love the carnitas burrito but don't expect to get carnitas in every bite. The pre-portioned bag of chips is a bit skimpy as well. Though there were plenty to go with my guacamole. I can't help loading up a chip with their tasty and fresh guac.

Dined here tonight and was very pleased. I guess the other reviewers' complaints re: small portion sizes were definitely heard, because WOW was my burrito huge, even for Chipotle standards. I mean, seriously, this thing weighed as much as the last Harry Potter book. I'm amazed I fit the entire thing in my tummy!! Also, maybe it was because I didn't get meat on my burrito this time, but I felt it to be less spicy than most burritos I've had at Chipotle. Even, dare I say it, a bit bland. It was still yummy, but there was less than zero kick this time around. Maybe all of their spice is in the meat. The chips, as always, were delightfully salty. I still love that awesome chunky salt that they use. :) The chips were just a hair on the stale side, but then again I DID come an hour before closing and there were still lots of chip bags sitting out. Maybe they were trying to avoid having a bunch of leftovers at the end of the night. I was very pleased with my meal, and will be returning. It doesn't hurt that I live only half a mile from here... :)

The people here are so sweet and not afraid to fill up that salad bowl. I hate when you pay extra for guacamole and only get a teaspoonful....but no worries, they pile it on. You def. get your moneys worth and the food is so fresh. Don't let the dead shopping plaza that it's in fool you.

I love Chipotle! Seriously, what's not to like here? Although the menu isn't extensive, all the ingredients are fresh, healthy and consistently of good quality. The prices aren't bad at all for what you get. I also love that you can eat outside on their patio (although the noise from traffic on Roswell Road is a bit loud). Still, this is a good location and I've always received good service here.

The food was ok. I had a salad(it was not the greatest). I eaten at this Chipotle before, and the food was good. Its missing the flavor I am use to! I remember the first time I went I was like this is great(Especiallly the chicken). OH well!

While I enjoy Chipotle food; especially their chicken burrito bowl, the employees at this location were very hyper and it came across as unprofessional conduct while customers were dining. They were running throughout the restaurant, yelling, and "hanging out". I most certainly recognize and appreciate camaraderie amongst employees, however, it can be over the top and disturbing to the patrons. Unfortunately, it appears as though a member of the management team was involved. I chalk it up to younger employees and I commend any young person thats working

This Chipotle is located on Roswell Rd. near I-285 (exit 25). It's been around for a long time, I think approaching a decade. Traffic in the area can suck, especially during peak times, but it's a not a bad a place to stop for a quick bite to eat. The meals are usually fresh, filling, and can be healthy depending on what you order. Chipotle is known for its burritos and competes locally against the likes of Moe's and Willy's. I personally like Willy's the best for a variety of reasons. Among them are better tasting burritos and chips and I'm a fan of their salsa bar. However, Chipotle is fine and I like their use of all-natural ingredients. The beef, pork, and chicken are sourced from farms that naturally raise their livestock and don't use antibiotics or hormones. Despite the higher quality meats, Chipotle's burritos are still priced competitively, between $6-7 each. I do think Moe's and Willy's burritos are bigger, but bigger isn't always necessarily better. Sometimes, I think Moe's burritos are too big. Chipotle's menu is simple, but highly customizable. Like the other burrito joints, the kitchen and ingredients are laid out before the customers in an assembly-line format. You can pick and choose the ingredients go into your burrito, burrito bowl, tacos, or salad, and watch your meal come together. I usually spring for a burrito or burrito bowl. Burrito bowls are exactly like burritos except without the tortilla. Same ingredients and same price. The burrito tortillas are made of flour. My favorite meats are steak and barbacoa (spicy beef). I've tried the carnitas (pork) and it's okay -- the batch I had at this location probably wasn't seasoned enough. I'd be willing to try it again. The steak and barbacoa are usually pretty tender, particularly the barbacoa, which is shredded. Both have a smoky flavor and the barbacoa is mildly spicy. Nothing the red chili salsa can't fix. Different rice and bean options are available. Brown rice is there for those who want to eat healthy. I think the pinto beans, cooked with bacon, taste better than the black beans. For about $2 and change, you can get extra meat, but I've tried this before and don't think it's worth it. Also, chips cost extra, which is whack. The chips at Moe's and Willy's are free. Service is usually fast and efficient and is reasonable during peak times. The store is clean and spacious and there's sufficient parking.

This was the dirtiest Chipolte I've ever been in! Men's room was nasty!!! Piss on the floor, sink clogged with standing water.. Stay away!!!!

Oooouuucccchhh... the experience was no bueno. After giving up on the long line in the Broken Egg Cafe, I decided to go mano to mano with my stomach in Chipotle... I ordered the barbacoa burrito with the works and added some chips and drinks ... Well, the sweet tea that I had was okay, and everything else was as cold as my drinks ... I mean, the chips were borderline stale AND cold, PLUS my actual dish was so cold I only ate a quarter of it before I started to look around for a microwave! The beans and rice were cold, and good god, it really tasted like something out of my fridge. Not good at all ... plus, the place was a bit dirty ... dunno if they just had a super large group that destroyed the place or what, but definitely not impressive. Although the kids in the front line were quite friendly, it was not enough to save anything in this place. Yikes ...

  • Lindsay W.

So, I have learned the hard way not to take kids to this place unless they like really spicy meat. I asked if the beef was spicy and was told "no, it is just seasoned." My son was almost in tears. I brought the food back and asked for something less spicy, so they traded it out for chicken. The chicken was just as spicy. Also, when paying, I was charged for 2 kids tacos, not a taco and quesadilla. I know that $.50 is not a big deal, but when I saw the girl do it, I told her that it was wrong and she said that all kids meals were the same price. I pointed to the board that shows the quesadillas as cheaper but she did not fix it when ringing me in. Over all, I was just really disappointed that my son could not eat his food and only ate chips and drank a milk. It is a bummer!

I love Chipolte and have been to many Chipoltes in Georgia and around the country. This is by far the worst one I have been to. The assembly line runs out of food and was a mess, they give you little servings of meat (basically what you're paying for), and the staff and managers could care less about the customers. This is the closest Chipotle near me but I will be driving the extra distance to avoid this place. Get it together...it is embarrassing to the franchise.

    (1)
  • DeAngelis F.

It was good food for the price. If only chips and salsa would come with the food like they do at Moe'. The place had a modern look and overall I have no complaints.

    (4)
  • Marcy K.

Horrible customer service is all I have to say. I ordered a quesadilla and they handed it to me in a huge piece of foil. I kindly asked for them to slice it as most places serve a quesadilla sliced. The manager literally looked me in the face and said to get the utensils and cut it myself. When I did just that the whole thing fell apart. I asked for my money back because I didn't get what I paid for and got lots of nasty looks from the management and the employees. I am a franchise owner and would be mortified if one of my employees treated any customer of mine in that manner. People like that give all of Chipotle a bad name. I won't be back to this one for sure !!

I'm a big fan of Chipotle, so this one close to I-285 on Roswell Road gets the appropriate four stars. Every time I visit Chipotle and take my first bite, I have to let escape a little sigh of pleasure. This is because they do their chicken very, very well. And I love the rice. It doesn't matter what you get, it'll be good. I mostly enjoy a salad or one of their bowls, but I've had it all. If you want to be amazed, go to their website and check out how many calories are in that dressing of theirs. It's about a whole meals worth just in that little bit of dressing. But I care not. I'm eating it. I have to admit that I'm spoiled and wish they offered free chips and salsa every time I go, but do I really need that anyway? Nah. I still wish though. At this location, you can sit outside on their sizable patio and enjoy your meal, which is nice. I'm a regular and happy about it.

I always loved the food at chipotle and even had them for lunch and diner for weeks at sometime in my good old days. I love the portions, quality, quick service and the industrial decor and art work which keeps me coming back for more. I been to location pretty much most of April and May this year which was not so bueno experience and twice this month to see if they improved any in their customer service, but it's the same lousy and stingy service I got again. I don't know why but the staff here always try to put less even when I say can I get some more of it/ mas por fovor? I hardly choose 4 items for my veggie bowl and normally ask for more lettuce or salsa which I see them handing out for free on the side for other orders but still skimp on me. porque hermano? and I bloody look like one of them. I am done with this and driving down the Roswell Rd to the BuckHead location or better yet continue my new found fav Barberitos.

This Chipotle location on Roswell road is one of my regular lunch options on workdays. They are always packed at lunch time, but there is never a very long wait. The folks that work here are so very nice, and always make my burrito bowl with a smile. Parking can be a bit of a hassle in this location, and it's pretty difficult to make a left turn BACK onto Roswell road after you've gotten your food, but remember the shopping center has a back entrance you can use to get back onto Roswell road without having to make that left turn. Always get the guac. Mm guac...

"Wow, this burrito is delicious, but it is filling." -- Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004) Dear Chipotle, you are such an easy grab and go lunch spot between me and my gym. Thank you for being there. Love, Me. I will say, this is one of the better, less insane locations of Chipotle around the city, for sure. Is it because it is OTP, who knows? Is it because it is tucked in the corner of a strip mall where most business have failed in the last 20 years? Maybe. All I know is that the staff is super friendly, they don't mind custom requests (burrito bowl, half brown, half white rice, half beef, half carnitas, black beans, corn salsa, red sauce, light sour cream, guac, light lettuce, cheese it up, etc, etc, etc...). The guys are speedy, all the employees are courteous, extra nice and accommodating and the clientele is lots of handsome men (okay, I really cannot explain this one, except every time I go the place has a lot of good looking men in there). The place is always spotless and the food is super fresh and delicious. The parking can be a little odd - people are always coming and going and the lane dead-ends, so it can get a little clustered in there. I tend to park further down and walk up as a result of this. I highly recommend this location if you are in the area (hint: it is directly across from Egg Harbor).

This is not your standard Chipotle! The food is the same tasty chicken, beef, vegetarian burritos and bowls you've come to expect at every Chipotle. It has the same stainless steel and wood tables, indoor and outdoor seating and upbeat music playing at a moderate volume. The prices are the same too. So, "what's different?", you ask.... Despite always being pretty packed, this Chipotle has almost NO LINE! Somehow they've managed to solve the one issue that immediately pops to mind when you think about getting a burrito at Chipotle. Thank you and keep up the great work!

I found a random stray of hair in my food. Normally, I wouldn't find anything like this whenever I go to Chipotle but I feel like I have to say something. I expect these kinds of restaurants to have high standards of cleanliness when handling food.

Because I realized how much I need their salads in my life I have kept coming here way too much and I felt like it was time to update my review. But almost two years and almost constant 1-2x a week visits later, we still have a love/hate relationship here. Most of the time we are good, they're quick and efficient and friendly, and everything tastes good. But when they're bad it's just like...bizarre. Today I came in around 5:30 or so and nobody was really there. But this guy came along to do my order because the woman who was already there was being picky as hell. I kid you not it took him like 3 minutes to put gloves on, then when I was saying I wanted veggies he was somehow taking this as black beans. He put so much cheese on top that it could have been considered a mountain in Florida, and then he spent at least 2 minutes sealing up the sides. Seriously dude it'll be okay. Then the girl who was the cashier had taken some cups of rice and beans to a table and he started yelling to her for some reason about what to mark the lid as since I got half chicken and half steak. It was so awkward. He just gave up and walked away. Whatever drugs he was on, I want some. Cashier girl was not very friendly. Since the last time I had been in and ordered this same combination on a salad, it was with employees who probably recognize me so they charge me for chicken. She charged me for steak and I probably wouldn't have found her so damn rude if she would have expended a little energy to say you know, "we charge for the more expensive meat." Granted I probably should have figured that out but I was dying of hunger and had the headache to match. I'll forgive her for the possible contact high though. I did just entirely give up on ever getting a burrito because of how many times it's been broken in the wrapping process. It just wasn't worth it. I also tried getting small taco tortillas on the side for a bowl to get the same effect with less work on their part but apparently asking for them is like asking them to feed you themselves. But whatever I still come back because it's so damn good anyway. They definitely no longer seem to have a skimping problem.

We all know Chipotle food. What makes this location great is the speed. If you see a line out the door...not to fret. You will be in and out in 10 mins tops. I mean they are on it. Even with high maintenance customers (not me but I always get behind those people) they are fast. Lots of room to sit inside and out. Parking is good for the area. One of the better Chipotle locations!!

A friend of mine wanted to grab dinner on a Friday night, but I didn't have time for a long dinner. Since this Chipotle was located somewhat between where each of us were coming from, we decided this would be the perfect spot for a quick but delicious dinner. We arrived around 7:45 pm, and I thought they'd be crowded. Oddly enough but fortunately for us, there were only two people in line when we walked in. Yay for no wait at Chipotle! =) I ordered my usual - a Steak Burrito with plain white rice (absolutely no cilantro for me), pinto beans, red-chili salsa, cheese, sour cream, and lettuce. (Note: For other cilantro haters, if you want plain white rice, just request it and they get you some from their container of cooked rice waiting to be mixed with cilantro-lime, etc.) I also asked for some sour cream in a separate container. I recently picked up the bad habit of adding more sour cream to my burrito. I don't even wanna think about how many more calories it adds to the 875+ calorie (yes, seriously!) burrito, but it's just so delicious... After paying for my burrito and grabbing a bottle of Tabasco Chipotle Pepper Sauce from the condiments area by the fountain drink machine, I looked around and noticed how clean and spacious the dining area was! I'm not sure if it was just because it was pretty empty, but it looked like one of the largest dining areas I had seen at a Chipotle restaurant! I was impressed and really liked it. As expected, my steak burrito was as delicious as expected. The only thing that could have made it better was if there was more steak and less white rice (they put SO much in it, even when I asked for "a little.") But that's just me being greedy. Overall, this Chipotle gets 4.5 stars for their fast service (yes, they weren't busy at the time, but still), friendly employees, spacious dining area, clean appearance, and awesome steak burrito. Since I've only been to this Chipotle once, I can't quite give them 5 stars yet, but I will update accordingly after more visits. I will definitely return again and again since it's the closest Chipotle to my new apartment. =) [Review 292 of 366]

This place just sucks . I've been here like 5 times & this time was it . I'm not going back . This place is stingy with the meat , they put a lot of rice , salty rice . The tomatoes are not fresh , it's all warm & squishy . The chicken was chewy , not cooked all the way. I even told the lady that the chicken was chewy & she responded " that's how it is " . Don't like , not for $7 . I can go somewhere else for better food . Never going back here again . Save your money guys !

I placed an online order Saturday evening around 7:10 for pick up at 7:30. The restaurant was surprisingly not busy when i arrived at 7:30pm and my order was ready for pick up when i arrived. The staff was friendly and attentive and was on my way and back home in less than 10 minutes. To my dismay when i opened my burrito it was cold!

I wasn't impressed with this particular location. Visited during the lunch rush hour and I felt very rushed although I knew exactly what I wanted to order. I've been to other Chipotle restaurants during a lunch hour rush and was treated accordingly. The food is always great but the customer service here was a bit lacking in my opinion.

When I need lunch at the office and I didn't bring it that day (either because the fridge was empty or I was feeling lazy), this Chipotle is my first choice. I'm a fan of Chipotle, and I've grown to be more of a fan since I was first introduced to it several years back when I arrived in Atlanta. There are a bevy of burrito places around town: Chipotle, Moe's, Willy's and a newcomer to the area: Q'doba. And I've tried 'em all. And Chipotle's the winner, hands down. Maybe it's because their products are organically grown, ethically raised, and hormone free. Maybe... or maybe it's because their spicy vinaigrette for the salads has crack secretly mixed into it. Whatever the reason, I think their salads are awesome. Even though, whenever I go, there's a line, this Chipotle knows how to move people along with speed. I can get in and out in under 15 minutes tops. The staff working behind the glass are friendly and listen to my requests as they're building my salad. Ingredients are fresh and you can see them continually making more batches of everything to bring up to the front. so that's really reassuring to consumers. And it all tastes hot and fresh, even when I get it to go. The only downfall of Chipotle in general is that they charge extra for guacamole. Normally, I just go without because paying an extra $1 (?) for guac's a rip off. Other than that, they're reasonably priced and good quality when I'm in need of a quick bite. Plus being conveniently located near my work.

I love this Chipotle, and I'm glad that it's RIGHT down the road from where I work. They LOAD you up! I always get the burrito bowl, and it's more than fulfilling enough. I'm always stuffed when I leave. They staff is very friendly too. Especially the one cashier I had who actually took time to strike up a conversation with me. However, they have one lady who doesn't seem to be very proficient in English, but props to Chipotle for giving her a job, and willing to take the time to let her learn. She's been better the few times I've been back, so it shouldn't be much of a problem, but just take the extra effort to point at the item you want, and enunciate your words, lol. Overall, cool place.

Who needs a burrito when you have a burrito bowl! Ever since I was introduced to this place I've literally abandoned burritos. The explosion of cilantro lime rice, guacamole, salsa, beans, chicken or steak, shredded cheese and sour cream is amazing and enough for 2 meals...and the chips are out of this world! The last time I visited this location they were out of guacamole. Since I love guacamole they scraped the pan and gave me remnants of what was left. For the inconvenience, at checkout the cashier comped one of my burrito bowls and chips! That was totally unexpected but I truly appreciated the gesture. I guess it pays to go one hour before closing. P.S. The menu has a new addition, $4 Margaritas!

This is a regular stop for me on the way home for their reasonably priced (~$6-7) burritos that are huge and delicious. It's also the only restaurant I know of that is conscientious about its animal products, as all producers must adhere to standards for humanely raising their animals (and it even extends to their cheese!). They're also insanely fast as far as take out goes - I'm usually in and out in a minute or three. The staff is fairly friendly, particularly for a large national chain.

This is by far the worst chipotle customer service I have ever received. They took over 15 minutes to even begin getting my order started and I was the first in line. They cleaned the counter and run around but never actually addressed me. They didn't listen to my actual order at all and gave me the wrong food. They shuffled their feet getting anything done and obviously didn't care to even show an ounce of like any kind courtesy to my time or my polite attitude even when I should have been furious. AND to top it all off they burnt my food because they FORGOT it was in there. This is how it was placed in my bag. I'm so so so irritated and it has honestly ruined the rest of my day. 5920 Roswell Rd, Ste B-101, Parkside Shopping Center, Atlanta, GA 30328 Is the address of this specific chipotle and I'll never go back.

I wish I'd taken a picture of the tacos on the assembly line before the pico de gallo and cheese was added. I don't eat that much but basically they put like two very tiny pieces of steak on each tortilla shell. The whole taco was basically pico and cheese. I might as well have gotten a veggie taco. It's a good thing I love tomatoes. However, I'm not happy that I paid $8 for a tortilla full of tomatoes. I will not be ordering tacos from here ever again. I've been to other Chipotle's and this one was either running out of meat and rationing it or just very stingy. Either way Moe's, Willy's, and Qdoba are less than 5 min away. I'll go to one of those next time I have a craving for tacos. I've had the chicken burrito bowl here too...it was just okay mostly rice and cheese...I'm not a fan of this particular Chipotle. There is ample parking --but this plaza can get very congested at times. They have margaritas.

Lately I have been eating more and more Chipotle. They have nice staff....sometimes. If you are lucky you will get a hello when you walk in. But if they are busy don't count on it. This location seems like it had its speedy food making skills down. But once you get to the cashier they are never there. I waited 5 minutes last time I went for the cashier to come back from whatever they were doing. Honestly it seems like the store is really clean but I don't think it is. One day I was there and I dropped a key out of my purse and it fell under the cashier counter and I did not know I dropped it and THREE days later I came back to see if they had found it and it was STILL under the cashier counter. So They keep themselves busy doing busy cleaning work but they are not doing a great job once you lift the carpet. I don't think after that experience I will be going back too much!!

I really wanted to like this as much as everyone else.... First off... I love Mexican food and especially love burritos. That being said, I was not surprised that Chipotle decided to carry the flag of organic, responsibly sourced burritos. First off, the burritos were lacking in originality. The barbecoa was beef, not goat. The carnitas had no true orange or bottled cola flavor to them. The chicken was dry and lackluster. Then, to top off the entire failed experience, THEY CHARGE FOR TORTILLA CHIPS!!! I don't think I will be visiting this franchise again.

It was good food for the price. If only chips and salsa would come with the food like they do at Moe'. The place had a modern look and overall I have no complaints.

Yikes ...

I used to love chipotle food but the last three times the food is really bad. Cold , undercooked , chewy meat . I believe I have to look for another place, the meat was not only chewy and undercooked, it stink too :( Will never get chipotle anymore .....

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
