Let me start by saying that I love Chipotle and their Burrito Bowls but this location was very disappointing. I have never gone out of my way to write reviews but felt that I should in this instance. I visited today and got a burrito bowl. They were very stingy with the items even the rice, which I thought was awkward since rice is by far the cheapest ingredient. Needless to say the chicken I was given was very limited in quantity as well. I understand that they run a business but scooping a little more of the ingredients is not going to burn their bottom line per order though in my case, it has cost them my business. I do not intend to frequent this location any more. I hope that if management does reads this post, please take the advice and consider the cost tradeoff when you decide to trod on customer loyalty by penny pinching. Thanks

Chipotle just may be my most favorite fast food/chain restaurant out there. THe corn salsa is slightly sweet, the lettuce is never brown and the industrial design sometimes makes you forget you're eating fast food. I've found that on the weekends and around lunch time, considering the high traffic area this location is in, boy does it get full, and fast! My last two visits saw a line out the door. Beyond that, there's no failure here. I ordered their veggie burrito bowl without beans and instead asked for extra peppers/onions. That turned it into a fajita bowl, something i'd never heard before, but ultimately it cost me 30 more cents to chomp on some peppers/onions. I think their chips are the best in town, lightly seasoned with the lime flavored salt, and in truth, once the line gets moving, so do you, much quicker than the line appears to move.

I have tried to be a fan of Chipotle but it is getting harder. The food quality does not seem to be what it was a year ago. The service at the counter is going downhill. I still love to eat here as it is a great alternative to Moe's but I wished they would improve back to where they were a year ago.

It's Chipotle - it's delicious. As for this location, some days there are no parking spots and the line to order is wrapped around the restaurant, other days, you can pull right in and get through the line in under 7 mins. Haven't dined in so I can't attest to that experience, but the staff is pretty decent and they move quick. Let's be honest, the service would have to be piss poor for me to give a Chipotle under 5 stars.

Not a big Chipotle fan. But this day I was oddly craving Chipotle. I dropped by on a Saturday and was in and out very fast. If in that area I will stop by.

My favorite burrito place in the city. Its Fresh, consistent, tasty and a good value. Now this location might benefit from a pre-shift margarita to encourage a more customer friendly outlook. But hey it fast food. I watch them make it and I got it to go....So it goes.

A Chipotle is a Chipotle is a Chipotle, for the most part. This one comes across to me as pretty average. There's nothing terrible about coming here, though I know they did in the past couple months fail their health inspection at one point. My own kitchen would fail a health inspection and I've not gotten food poisoning from them, so not a huge deal to me. There's also nothing that great about coming here outside of getting Chipotle in your belly. I'm here out of convenience and a need for a burrito bowl. They're not the quickest in dealing with the line even at odd times, which seems to be when I end up here, but I'm not going to be mad that they're not like my best friends or something. They seem to overdo it on the rice, or sort of gradually short out on some things as you move down the line. There's a reason I always get bowls over anything else and that's touched on in a lot of the negative reviews so that's probably why I have a more positive perception of this location.

This location should not be able to call themselves a Chipotle. This is by far THE WORST location I have ever been to. Visit 1: Restaurant closed due to plumbing issues. Visit 2: long wait and pinto beans were hard and cold. Visit 3: grill was not working so only non-grilled meat available and no fajitas avail. Visit 4: foil for tacos not closed and leaked salsa in my car. All within 3 weeks... Get it together!

Typical chipotle. It serves it's purpose, but it's really just average. I don't know, chillies is just so much better in my opinion :-)

Went in today to get my favorite burrito bowl. I do believe the person making the burrito bowl is the Restaurant Manager/Owner. He made the vegetarian burrito bowl perfectly! I made a request for lime and jalapenos and extra fajita and he followed through. Everyone knows a screwed up burrito bowl can ruin your day. Mine had everything perfect! He also greeted me and was very professional in his job. Love this Chipotle!!

Always been a fan of Chipotle. I'd go here for lunch and eat my burrito on the patio. The burritos are huge (I swear they weigh in at about 5 lbs) and will sit in your stomach like a brick. But that's not a complaint. If I wasn't such a glutton I would save half for later and get 2 meals out of it.

I can't get past the employees' attitudes long enough to rate Chipoltle's food. My advice to these unhappy individuals, (after my second visit in three months...was hoping that the last time was just my imagination)... If you don't like people, don't work at a restaurant! And my advice to Chipoltle management, read these reviews and make some changes for crying out loud.

This place is pretty good. Fresh. Made to order. Reasonably priced. Let's start with the chicken bowl. Fresh slightly spiced chicken over brown or white rice. I went brown to be slightly healthier. Delicious choice. The rice had a good kick to it while being "rice". The chicken was hot (heat wise). I added cheese, black beans, Guac (which was extra) and salsa. Giant portion. Too much for lunch in fact -kudos to chipotle for not skimping on portions. I got chips and medium salsa on the side for an additional charge. Glad I did medium and not hot! I really like that they are taking out GMOs (is that the correct term?) while keeping it real. Price was good, you get to watch them prep your food, and all in all, great place. Can't wait to go back when I'm even hungrier.

Came here one day after gym around 1 pm with my husband. I was starving. we ordered chicken bowl. They had ran out of chicken so we had to wait. FInally we got our food. Half of the chicken was uncooked. It was disgusting. We had to return our food. She offered us another plate but by that point our appetite had died. I haven't been to chipotle since then. Its been 5-6 months now. I still cant get over that uncooked chicken. This review is only for this specific location.

It's a chipotle. Lines are longer here. They ran out of the tofu sofritas so I had chicken. They still Honored their buy one get one free entree. You can't really go wrong with chipotle.

Order everything and don't complain. McDonald's greatest business move was investing in this place. Their fresh, free ingredients are a touch above their competitors and the atmosphere is right on yeaitreallyis2014 so that's all good. I recommend eating daily. Burrito Bowl (Burrito Salad if you are going low-carb), brown rice, black beans, grilled veggies and everything. Rotate meat accordingly.

  • Mary-Catherine W.

Rude lady on the line slapping stuff together. If you have an issue check it at the door lady, don't take it out on your customers and the service they get. But the food is always standard chipotle fare. Which is why I can here to begin with. Why I won't come back is the service. I don't care if it's a $30 entree or a $7 burrito. It's about the experience.

Craving them so much and placed an order online. Had a 30 minute drive and still had to wait 20 minutes for my food... what's the point of having online ordering for convenience if people who came in after me are leaving before me? Still Chipotle, still good, still worth a 30 minute drive... But online preordering is for speed and convenience.

I'm really surprised it took this long for me to write up a review about this Chipotle. It's only a few miles from where I live and I've been to it (and past it) dozens of times. While parking is the predominant problem for this Chipotle, its proximity to the larger parking lot for Toco Hills helps assuage the problem somewhat. Beware getting caught in a 3-car deep pileup in the parking lot though - it's very tight trying to maneuver around successfully in there. Other than parking though, the Chipotle is exactly what you expect from Chipotle. A line around the corner moving extremely efficiently, fresh ingredients you can see them preparing behind the front line of order makers, people incapable of moving quickly enough at the drink filling station and a large, open seating area of industrial style tables and booths for eating your burrito bowl or giant, super-stuffed burrito at. My order takers this most recent round were very generous in their portion sizes, and both myself and my boyfriend got more than we bargained for. He had guac added to his burrito bowl, and there was so much guacamole on his bowl you couldn't see anything beneath it. He literally had a blanket of guacamole and sour cream covering his bowl. Yum. All in all, this is a good Chipotle. Yes, it's slightly annoying how many college students frequent it (and can't park or dress properly) and the staff's not the friendliest (they're efficient but not chatty), but other than that, it's convenient, it always tastes the way Chipotle should and I have no problem with it.

I love chipotle, there's no denying it. There's just something about it that makes you crave it after so long. No frills, no thrills. Just wasn't as satisfied with this location since there were some booth tables that were dirty when I came in. I'm sorry, I don't like to clean up tables after someone else, can you people please throw your trash away please? Other than that, my burrito was made like the usual. My burrito broke midway through trying to eat that giant thing, I guess the burrito become a makeshift bowl. Other than that, get it as a burrito man. I know you aren't going to try and eat it in a bowl with a fork right? Eat it like a man!

I love Chipotle. However, this location is by far the worse I've ever encountered. I am used to long lines at Chipotle, so the empty restaurant at 8pm should have been a red flag. Although no one was on line, no one was waiting to take orders. There were however 6 workers present. One was gnawing on a piece of steak, another was chopping meat, one was at the register, one was wiping his nose over the grill, one was lining up chip bags on the dining tables and eventually the line worker came up front to take my order after about two minutes. No apology, no hello. They were very stingy with all the ingredients for my salad. The workers were chatting so much, they didn't hear the cashier's repeated request for the vinaigrette to go with my salad. The tables and food line were dirty, so I opted to take my food to go. I noticed the health score was an 87. Not terrible, but really, I feel like less than an A is unacceptable for new construction franchise fast food. As a Decatur resident, I'll stick to the awesome Chipotle in Downtown Decatur and continue to pass on by this location.

This place is always busy, being a Chipotle, I understand why...but this particular one is actually very bad. The parking is ridiculous, very few parking spaces but people are always coming in and out. It's just a clustered mess. The line is always long and a majority of the staff is just unfriendly! They just seem irritated and it just makes for a unwelcoming atmosphere. The food doesn't seem as up to par with other Chipotles I've been to and although I appreciate large portion amounts, they sometimes give me so much rice, I can barely finish my food. It's always the same each time, I don't think I'll be coming back here unless someone else really wants Chipotle.

Of all the "Tex-Mex" fast food restaurants - hell, all fast food restaurants, Chipotle is my favorite. I love the tacos, I love the burrito bowls - their ingredients always taste fresh and delicious. I find that this is true across the board at all Chipotle locations (at least the ones I've visited thus far. What makes the difference is the service, and the service here leaves a lot to be desired. The employees always seem distracted, seemingly looking right past me. On a previous visit, the food station had almost completely ran out of brown rice, but I noticed there was a container ready to go in the kitchen - so I asked for brown rice, the employee pointed to the near empty container and told me they were out, so it had to be white rice. Was it really that much work? For today's visit, they half-assed the BF's burrito wrap, so as he unwrapped the foil the burrito came apart. I really enjoy Chipotle and this is such a convenient location for me, they just need to get their customer service in check.

Okay.. This place gets some reviews. Most seem to focus on the poor service. Seems like these reviewers need to go eat at the Ritz Carlton or Chik fil A if they expect "My pleasure" from every bean slinger on the line. Also, has your work and work place been 100% always and forever? Well congratulations, but in my world we allow a little grace and forgiveness for normal variations. Man, freaking out because they re worked some plumbing. Aren't you glad they got it fixed before it leaked on your shoe? I like to bring a good attitude and that's generally what I get in return. Ya know? I eat the veggies. It seems that I still get too much sodium in my food somehow. No big deal. The guacamole is great. Excellent salsas and pico de gallo. I like that it's quick, convenient, fresh, and veggie. We had them cater our lunch buffet for the meeting this weekend. Just wonderful. All the salsas and a huge thing of grilled veggies. It went fast. Most folks loaded up and we all got what we wanted. We will definitely re order when our next meeting is due in February.

Staff and Management's customer service is absolutely terrible. We placed an order online for our office, drove out to the store and picked it up, got all the way back to the office and they put chicken on the vegetarians employees order. After driving back out to the store and letting the employees know they slopped together the 2 messed up orders of ours, never apologized, and acted bothered by the fact we wanted our orders fixed. I asked for a manager and they were "too busy". On top of that their health score is an 80 so if anyone gets sick you know why.

I once became a vegan for about 2 1/2 weeks when I saw a gnat in my salad here. I was already a vegetarian so it wasn't that far a jump. I feel like there's no management at this location. The cashiers don't really seem to care or even know what costs extra. You kind of just have to figure it out when they ring you up at the register. It makes me wonder why the cashier knows but the people making your food don't. I've been to well over a dozen locations over the past half a decade and they all seem to charge what they want to for different items like guacamole or tofu. Hit or miss I guess. I'm not looking to get fat here. I just want to get something to eat. They keep stuffing my burrito bowl so full of everything that by the time I get down toward the guacamole and lettuce and cheese, there's no room for any of it. Then when they put the aluminum foil on top of it, they have to crush everything down which sticks the guacamole to the top of the inside of the cover. On a positive note, one order of lunch from this place could feed you for a day. And thank goodness they started serving tofu recently.

I LOVE Chipotle but the people who work here are the WORST! My fiancé has a Terrible dairy allergy and politely asks the person at the salsa end of the counter to change their gloves because of his allergy and the same chick seems to ALWAYS be working there and she always ROLLS HER EYES at this request. As if his request to not go into anaphylactic shock is a HUGE inconvenience was to her. If you don't want to cater to people's food needs, maybe don't work in a restaurant!

I live 5 minutes from the ponce location nut the parking over there is hopeless. This one has no homeless people hanging outside, and additional parking from the plaza. There is lits of shopping in this plaza so you can get groceries. So the trip is exyra worth it. They chop the steak here a lot smaller tho

This review is in regards to the location, not the food (the food is always stellar). As a regular for several years I usually have great service here, hence the 3 stars. A few downsides noticed recently: Lack of cleanliness: The counters, tables and drink machine don't appear to be cleaned regularly. Register issues: Recently when attempting to use a gift card, the cashier told me the card was invalid. Invalid? It was successfully used at the same location a few days prior. After paying out of pocket, I called the GC number and lo and behold - the balance was still $40 and the card was still active. Floors: After floors are mopped, they are left wet and slippery without any caution signs for customers. Minor issues for a Chipotle fan, but combined it's enough for me to find another location.

  • Scott K.

Portions are small. I asked for double chicken, they charged me an additional $2.50 and they barley gave me anything. Stay away from this location. You ask for more and they look at you like "really?" I won't be coming here again.

This girl is a Chipotle lover!!!! I live close to this location and it used to be MY Chipotle but I haven't been to this location in months. The service is AWFUL! The lines are very long which I understand but the employees take that our on the customers. It is never really consistent which is annoying. The food is just okay now. I read somewhere that they failed their health inspection. I can believe it but how does a place that touts fresh ingredients fall a health inspection? I will not be back to this location anytime soon and would NOT recommend it to a friend.

  • Lynn M.

I promise, I'm in here a few times a week, lol. I even convinced my job to use them for catering, and everyone was pleased with their orders, because they were able to make their own choices. I LOVE their chicken bowl, and if I could, would eat them at least twice a day. Great, efficient service here, and it always tastes wonderful!

  • Saira K.

Typical Chipotle - but the service here is annoying. So-so to "Is the gal making my taco in La La Land" - service, guac prices going up and up for no reason (avocado still costs the same it did 2-3 years ago). Some of the employees here have a bit of an attitude, and when you pay for the guacomole side, you get a plastic container that is barely filled. Cheap. Parking is a problem here most evenings.

Yes, I know. A Chipotle. My appreciation goes waaaay back. I was a Chipotle fan back at the original location in Denver before the place ever franchised. I love their food! But this location is missing something. I can't quite put my finger on it. Sometimes it seems they skimp on portions. And more than once, I've had the distinct impression that staff is just trying to do their job and get home--no humor, no engagement, no spirit--as if someone with poor leadership skills is taking the joy out of their work. And really, this is the kind of work that should be easy to enjoy. [Plus, I've said it before and I'll say it again: Happy working environments produce better products (and happier customers). There is a difference in the service of places where employees can relax and laugh with each other vs. those where there is silent indifference.] I dunno. I'm just guessing. I still enjoy the food. And I know that staff really hustles to serve everyone quickly. I hope they give me a reason to revise my criticisms here. Perhaps you'll see me there...

  • Lindsay W.

I really like the burrito bowls here. They have the choice of brown rice (healthy but blah) or lime white rice (not healthy but delish!). I like both the black and pinto beans. Most people go for black beans, but pinto beans taste pretty good sometimes! I wish they had fresh cilantro and gave out free chips, but it is ok. The salsas are good too. The corn one is a little too sweet for me.

Location has gone completely downhill over the past year. They got an 82 on their last inspection. No thanks. Update: Went in to check if they had improved and discovered that they continued their steady decline. Score is now 80.

If one of your friends tells you "lets just go to Willys or Moes, they're all the same" then get some new friends cause they don't know shit about a decent burrito. Chipotle is far better than these imitators. This is the place "real" mexican restaurants don't want you to go to. Chipotle may be looked on as "a fast food place", but this is no Taco Bell. Barbacoa burrito, extra rice (no beans), salsa (hot and mild), cheese, and lettuce. $7.12 with tax. Great burrito, better than what i eat at 90% of the "real" mexican places. There is a reason this franchise is popping up all over the place - they are really good.

  • Kacey L.

This Chipotle sucks. The staff act like children as they jack up your burrito and make you like Chipotle less. They don't listen and are clearly more concerned about their side work that they need to complete to go home than the customers. The food is cold. The guac is bland. And their score is an 82, so obviously they're doing something wrong in the hygiene area. It was pretty obvious when the workers put gloves on without washing their hands and proceeded to wipe their gloved hands on their filthy aprons. Never going back to this sad excuse for a Chipotle.

    (1)
  • Lorenzo F.

Chipotle is Chipotle, and usually I'm all about this place. But they destroyed my burrito the other day when I came here which ruined the experience. They had to pour my food into a new tortilla and I lost some of my ingredients. I expect better next time.

Maybe Chipotle isnt a 'big' thing in Atlanta.. but here in the Northern Virginia area.. everyone (ok mostly everyone) loves Chipotle. I'm used to large lines, big crowds at Chipotle. When my girlfriend and I walked into this Chipotle.. NO ONE was in line.. and only like 3 or 4 people were eating inside/outside the restaurant. It was very very unusual. In fact, there was only ONE person working in the front area.. and she called out another girl to ring us up on the register. Not a very busy Chipotle at all. The food was tasty though. I noticed they used WHITE corn.. maybe it is an Atlanta thing? All the Chipotles up in the DMV area use YELLOW corn. But white corn tasted good too. very yummy. DID CHIPOTLE LOWER THEIR PRICES? I don't recall ANY menu item being less than $6? Their chicken option was only $5.75? I haven't been to a Chipotle in the DMV area in a few weeks.. so maybe they did lower the prices.. or maybe it's just the ATL Chipotle? odd. but cheaper Chipotle? i'll take it!

I travel a lot and have had my share of Chipotle experiences... this one was not so good... I got a chicken burrito, and a side of guac with chips. The burrito tasted horrible... compared to other chipotle's I've been to, it tasted slightly sweet and plain distasteful... something wasn't seasoned right. The guac was really bland (usually my favorite) and the chips were stale and chewy because they weren't thoroughly fried aka raw. Just because it's a Chipotle, doesn't mean it's delicious.. this one was gross.

Who doesn't love Chipotle...? great food and service (manager seems a little sketchy, tends to stare a bit to long at you) but otherwise the food is always fresh and they are speedy!

I'm going to start this review with the fact that I'm not a huge fan of Chipotle. I never understood the hype behind their burritos, or the claims that their guacamole was tasty perfection. It wasn't until I left the states and traveled abroad did I realize how bad burritos and tacos could be. This location of Chipotle is almost always packed when I arrive in line for dinner. The service is speedy and they try to get out out of there as fast as they can. Never had a problem here with the freshness of the food, the corn salsa always has a good crunch and the meat is cooked perfectly. -Normal order is the steak or chicken burrito bowl My only complaint is that this location seems to really skimp on the lettuce, I am forced to emphasize how much shredded lettuce I want, just to obtain the same amount I would receive at any other Chipotle. I like Chipotle slightly more than Willy's because it feels healthier. It might not be but the heavy hand that Willys has on their cheese makes me feel like I'm having a cheese plate.

The dirtiest Chipotle that I've seen yet. And the past few times that I've visited this location, it's been too hot to sit inside.

I have been here quite a few times. It is usually very busy and sometimes it can be hard to find parking right by the building. Sometimes you have to park in the general Toco Hills Shopping Center lot. The food is quite good most of the time. I get the chicken burrito. Unfortunately, last time I was there something musta been off cause I was sick the whole night. It was not pleasant. The burritos are huge and you can take some home to finish later.

I never have been a great fan of Chipolte, until the day I found they do have plain rice and plain tomatoes. I've always thought Chipolte has been a bit heavy on the cilantro. Since I've found they can do it without the cilantro; they won me over until... When I lived in Florida the Chipolte was fun the employees were always very polite and overly friendly. When I found this location on N. Druid Hills I was hoping to maybe give a little more love to the mission burrito and this chain. But that wasn't the case, when I walked into this location and I asked for plain tomatoes and rice, the burrito-ista rolled her eyes at me and mumbled something in Spanish under her breath. Then I found you can place the order online and I don't have to deal with the people, problem solved. So for me Chipolte is okay, I like some of the other places better. Pricing is moderate for how much you get, but the service at this location has yet to improve. If you plan on going here, order online and pick it up. You can get in and out in no time and not have to worry about the lackluster service. Otherwise, go here if you want a quick so-so burrito.

Bite. Chew. Spit. Ack! - What am I eating? Smell. Try again. Bite, chew... sprkjalaaach!! What the fuck? What is in this?? Open burrito. Look inside. Looks like food. Doesn't look like cuckarachas. Why does it taste like cuckarachas? Huh? WHY!? Optimus hates Chipotle. Overpriced garbage. Asked for refund. Chips & salsa were lame... and not free either. Who the F do you think you are, Chipotle? Who the F indeed. Optimus OUT (and never coming back).

I've got to admit that I am terribly not pleased with Chipotle quality of food and service. One thing that I was suprise was that this place did not offer quesadilla and the chips and salsa had to be purchase. Sorry Chipotle, but I am going to Moe's or Willy's when I am in the mood for a Mexican invasion night.

  • Amanda S.

Yes, Chipotle uses all natural ingredients. It's a good thing and I praise them for that effort. But I'm not crazy about the flavor of the food itself. I'm not saying it's bad, it's just...as if the spices they use are somehow...off. Also, they charge you extra if you want chips and salsa. I mean, seriously? That's ridiculous.

I went to a different location, with a ho-hum experience, and figured I would write the whole place off as simply a higher-end-alternative to "Taco Smell". However, a co-worker won a company lunch and took the office out for a meal on them. I figured free was free, and it would give me an opportunity to sample again, just in case. Boy, am I glad that I did! My first experience I went the "safe" way and had a salad that was unimpressive to say the least. However, for my free lunch I got a burrito. Thick and warm, made right in front of you, different levels of spicy salsa... WOW! After this experience I have been a repeat customer again and again. The rice is delicious, the chicken is flavored wonderfully, and I just cannot rave enough about their salsa. I love me some salsa, but I cannot take spicy, mouth-melting, sinus-draining hot. And with the 4 different types that they offer I can go some a mild twinge to a bit more kick very easily and depending on my mood. I have to leave off one star because they don't have a children's menu, or even small things that kids can order. I brought my niece and nephew along with me one day and had a terrible time trying to find something there for them to eat. I think that they should put baby-tacos on the menu or something... but aside from that -- I retract my last statement (although it was about a different location, so I guess I have to let it stand), and bump it up a few notches. Thanks Chipolte!

The food tasted pretty good. But if you want to get good bang for the buck, go to Moe's. The quality is equal, but at Moe's, you get free chips and salsa bar.

This Chipolte location always is busy! The only negative can be the line to order. Always had a great meal and especially recommend the chips and guacamole. Just be sure to shack the bag of chips before opening as the sea salt has probably settled to the bottom of the bag

As far as Mexican fast food goes, Chipotle is pretty darn good. They use fresh ingredients and the staff is quick and friendly. Its proximity to Emory causes long lines on Saturday and Sunday, but I usually fax my order and go right up to the register and pick it up. They charge for their chips and salsa, and sometimes the chips taste like they could use a little more salt. But the rest of the food is solid and they have good sweet tea.

Ah, Chipotle. Everyone's favorite Moe's or Willy's. This one doesn't stand out as any different than the rest of them that you'll find in Atlanta, so if you are looking for a quick burrito and you are in the NDH area, then, by all means, use this place. It's going to be better than that Moe's just down the way, also.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
