I've been ordering delivery from China Feng for many years. The food is consistently good and very reasonably priced. The delivery has always been timely. (They recently added a $1.00 delivery charge). I love the Pan Fried Pot stickers and Singapore Rice Noodles!

I was introduced to this restaurant by my girlfriend. I am a pesce-vegetarian, and I really loved some of their tofu dishes because their tofu is crisp on the outside and fluffy in the center, instead of chewy like it can be if done incorrectly. I also enjoyed the shrimp dim sum dumplings, but I thought that their chow fun was a little too salty. They also have delicious coconut and mango ice creams for dessert. It is a more Americanized Chinese restaurant, but very good quality.

Not a place I would recommend for good chinese food.

This is a no frills Chinese take-out spot that isn't going to blow you away or make you're recommendations list, but it will hit the spot when you're in the mood for good take-out. I always order a General Tso's combo meal which comes with chicken, fried rice, a spring roll, and a chicken wing. The General Tso's chicken is pretty darn good and they give you a TON of it. The rice tastes like it was cooked in a microwave, but I don't go for the rice, so I'm willing to overlook that part. Finding a chicken wing and a spring roll in the bag when I get home still feels a nice surprise even though I've ordered from them 20 times. Other highlights: - Wonton Soup is good enough to keep ordering - The rangoon won't disappoint - The steamed potstickers are good, but the gyoza is thicker and chewier than you'd find at a high-end chinese restaurant - Great take-out dishes make for safe transport while also making it easy to reheat the leftovers the next day.

I'll keep this short and sweet. Big fan of the Singapore rice noodles and the fried chicken wings. Everything else? Not so much. I've never dined, in, though. I mostly get delivery, which is pretty fast.

What can I say? Everyone I encountered was rude and completely unprofessional. I made the order through GrubHub. The delivery guy shows up but can't be bothered to get out of the car so I'm randomly going up to different cars AT NIGHT (I'm also a woman) trying to find this f***ing guy! Second they messed up my order so I called and the guy who picked up was just plain rude! He kept talking over me trying to tell me what I ordered when I told him I have the email telling me my order and finally I got so frustrated that I told him never mind I don't care and I will never be ordering from them again. And lastly, their food is DISGUSTING! I am sorry but Mongolian beef should have more than three pieces of meat and if that's what they call spare ribs, then I'm in trouble. Overall it was a terrible experience!

Some of the best delivery in the area. I was concerned when I read the negative reviews, but it is really very good and the folks who run it are nice. Stay away from fried rice or lo meins. Not the best, but everything else is great.

I have to post a good review about this place! I have ordered delivery from them multiple times and the food always arrives in a timely manner, is hot, and the drivers are always nice. I like their broccoli in garlic sauce and fried sweet and sour shrimps. The white rice is always cooked correctly. I also like their wonton soup. I have never actually eaten at the restaurant but the delivery is always consistently good! It is better than a lot of other chinese places I've tried out in the area.

I used to order this food all of the time. It's no longer what it once was. If you're looking for good Chinese delivery, keep looking. Their sesame chicken is bland, and the sauce on it seems to have melted off. Leaving a pool of weird brown liquid at the bottom of the dish. I will say, I loved their rice as well, but now it's just dry and sticky. I've stopped ordering from them, an recommend you look around before you choose this place. Maybe they will get their act together, and go back to bringing us quality food! We now order from Little Schezuan, and haven't had a problem with them at all! Great tasting food!

My review is based on multiple dine-in experiences at this restaurant. Unfortunately, China Feng does not deliver to my school-- but the fact that I am willing to drive here anyway should say something about how much I like it! I usually order the Sesame Chicken with egg drop soup, though the Egg Foo Young, General Tso's Tofu, and Chicken Lo Mein are also all delicious. If I come with friends, we'll usually split steamed dumplings or crab rangoon. The food always comes out quickly, and the waitresses are usually friendly too. I'll admit I am a little concerned about all of the negative reviews on here-- slimy noodles? Bland sesame chicken? Perhaps I've just been lucky, but I've never received anything remotely like that, even in my more recent visits here. (Again, this could just be because I've always dined-in.) Hopefully the owners check their Yelp page and will try not to let more bad meals slip through the cracks!

I've been to China Feng many times during my time in Atlanta. Though it may look like a regular place from first glance, I always found the actual food to be of a much higher quality than others. The general tso chicken is absolutely excellent, as is the sesame chicken. Surprisingly the chicken wings are really good too! The quality of the food, fast service, plus the friendly staff make China Feng my go-to Chinese place.

The food was average not the best I tasted with a lot of oil. I have used both the carry out and dine it but I do prefer carry out. Dine in the waitress isn't very polite and the food takes a minute. I recommend it for a cheap decent meal.

STAY AWAY! No, seriously, STAY AWAY. How can I put this nicely? Wait, forget niceness, they don't deserve nice! I have order from this place before -- I quickly ran in and grabbed a lunch special one day and felt it was "fair" -- not bad but not great either. It was lunch and I was in a hurry. I was willing to go back again and try a real dish. I own a company nearby. One day in preparation for a big meeting the next day my employees (~27) were working late. I had the great idea of ordering takeout. I ask for their orders after pulling up a menu. We were all excited. Brace yourself... 1. When I arrived the owner/manager was sitting at a small table to the right of the register watching television. Hmmm, maybe she didn't hear the door open, i thought, because she still hasn't greeted me. So I shuffle with my keys and drop them on the counter. (Trying to help her out). She looks over and tells me one second?! Really, one second? I'm LIVE money -- not phone money, not browsing money, I'm right here in your face! 2. When she finally came to the register... (it only took about a minute, to be fair) but you're a work --- move away from the TV and come WORK...she asked "what can I get for you?" Yep, Yelpers, no apology or anything. 3. Her attitude was the WORST. She could careless that I was patronizing her business. The fact that I had several orders and a list seemed to piss her off. I assume there was something more important on television she wanted to get back to. 4. When I finished placing my order, she gave me my total of $293.14. I then realized I didn't get me anything. I asked to add some rice for me. I am picky about my rice, so I asked, "could you hold the peas, carrots, and white onion. Give me just chicken and rice, please. Oh -- and green onions/scallions." Her response was "that will be .75 cents." Really? I'm placing an order, that is clearly over 300.00 now and I've held the peas, carrots, and white onions and you want to charge me .75 for the throw away pieces of the onion -- after you had me wait for 2 mins while you watch your show? I asked if that was necessary? She tells me yes and then answers a call in front of me after giving me the finger to wait. She proceeds to take an order, instead of putting the caller on hold. We were clearly almost done. When she comes back to me she says "do you want the onions or not?" Yep, just like that. My reply -- NOT! In fact, cancel the entire order! 5. I took a to-go menu with me so that I could place it in the breakroom at the clinic. I wrote in BIG LETTERS -- do not eat from here. See me for questions. We will not be ordering from here ever again! 6. Check their health score...as a doctor... a place that has: 6-1B. Improper hot holding temperature 6-1C. Improper cooling time and temperature 12D. Improper Washing fruits and vegetables 16B. Improper Plumbing installed; improper backflow devices 18. Insects, rodents, and animals present Should be a place I (or all of us) avoid PERIOD!

Definitely dine in. The food here is much better when fresh. The portions are quite large for the price and they offer a wide variety of choices. Dine in usually isn't very busy and food comes out quickly. For take out and delivery they are usually very fast unless you are unlucky and call during peak business hours. The staff is usually polite but sometimes rush you if they are busy. Tip: for lunches and dinners, you can request soup instead of the roll / wing and I would definitely recommend doing this.

I have many years of experience working in restaurants (both Chinese, sushi and American) so I do hold restaurants to a higher level of expectation. I wasn't driving 100mph to get here because most so-called Chinese restaurants are very Americanized. (Like seriously, if people think that sweet and sour chicken is authentic then they should get their head checked.) The restaurant is small, but pretty clean (other than some stains on the blinds). The table was not sticky at all which is pretty common at similar establishments. The service was prompt and the food came out pretty fast too but then again there was only one other table dining inside when I was there although they did have a few takeout orders. I ordered the chicken and shrimp w/ mixed veggies. It comes with 2 large mounds of brown rice, a spring roll and a chicken wing. I was a bit disappointed that it did not come with soup. The dish itself was ok. Nothing to rave about. They did add these crunchy veggie pieces in it and for the life of me I couldn't figure out what they were. They kinda tasted like water chestnuts, although they were square blocks of them and I am pretty sure that they were not water chestnuts as I requested the dish without them. The rice was not great. It was just simply refried white rice with some soy sauce on it. No carrots, no peas. At the end of my meal, I was physically satisfied but it's pretty much an eh experience.

Went there last night and I won't again. I got general chicken and it was crispy as hell like being left in a deep fryer too long, gross because it was crispy on the outside and i got nasty squishy crap on the inside. Crab rangoon was greasy as hell too. I didn't get sick but i spent a long time on the throne. My review of this place is a sold EW never again.

Service was great. Food is awful. I tried to be adventurous and order the seafood lo mien. I was given slimy fettuccine noodles instead. Hot and sour soup is awful. This place should only offer the basics. Fried rice and chicken wings are the way to go.

is it possible to give no stars? ordered online and they screw up order. pot sticker sauce spilled all over the bag, i am sure the driver knew. also, white rice instead of fried riced means i want white rice. of course they put fried rice in there. never order from these clowns.

I ordered delivery from China Feng thru Grubhub. I ordered a crispy wings appetizer which was fairly good. They were crisp just as I requested, though below the light breading the chicken had an unusual yellow color... could be a marinade of some sort.. I hope.. who knows. I also ordered shrimp fried rice combo with egg drop soup. The soup was very average, and over thickened with corn starch. It had that wierd wobbly consistancy. The fried rice was abundant in size and full of shrimp. Very tasty. I was, however, aggravated at the fact I asked for extra napkins for chicken wings and got none at all. They gave me no fork for my rice, no spoon for my soup, and not a single napkin.

So snowmgeddon 2011 had me seeking shelter and dinner close to the job last nite, so I would be in place to get to work on time today. After I discovered that there is no all u can eat buffet with crab legs on Buford Hwy my companion and I went to this place, because it was open and right across from the hotel we stayed in. Upon entering, I told myself...give the place a chance Dee...its snow/icy out here, and at least the food will be hot, and since it isnt a buffet, you will be able to take your doggie bag back tot the hotel with you. Well....I was right and wrong at the same time. It was snowy/icy out...but the rest was........ Upon entering there was no one dining in...again...its snowy....so dont let that bother you, Dee, and to China Feng's credit, more people did come after we got there to place to go orders and one other family to eat in. There was two people working, so the same lady that sat us, took our order and brought our food, was also responsible for taking phone orders, explain that no they couldnt deliver and answering any questions the rest of us had. We had to wait at least 3 minutes after she bought our food to the table for plates to dish the food upon, even though we ordered two entrees and told her we would just share the two entrees. So....their menu say "Best Chinese Food In Atlanta", well that must be a self proclaimed title, case as my rating says....I thinks not! Crab Ragoons, fried tooooooooooooooooooo hard and extraaaaaaaaa dry on the inside. Im still waiting for one with any type of filling inside. One of my biggest pet peeves in dining out is hot food on a cold plate....not that I expect the plate to be piping hot, but I dont expect it to feel like its been sittin outside in a ice bath either. We ordered the chicken egg fo young($8), and the curry shirmp($11)....add broccil(sp)....we were charged $4 for 4 pieces of broccil...hot food on a cold plate...well within minutes the food was cold. The only thing that remained hot throughout the meal was the broccili and I guess that was because it was added on, so maybe it was cooked separetaly from the rest of the food, cause it was piping hot! The egg fo young was full of shredded chicken, but the accompanying rice was sticky and cold...and the gravy was just ok and kinda warm. We had to ask for water and then was told that they only have bottled water $2....for what was probably a 9oz bottle of water. Hot Tea was also ordered and it too was just lukewarm. The one person who was doing all the front work never came back to our table but somehow our check appeared before we were halfway done with our food. My companion also ordered the Chines Donuts (as spelled on the menu) and they came out with a pound of powereded sugar sprinkled on top.....and unfortunatly was the best part of the entire meal. Not to say that the other food wasnt edible....just that....uh....I've had much better and the donuts were the only thing I requested a to-go container for! Nowhere near the best Chinese Food In Atlanta!

I was very pleasantly surprised with how good my delivery from China Feng was; it was definitely some of the tastiest Chinese I've had in the area, and I've probably tried 6-8 over the past few years here. It also arrived very quickly, so I will be ordering from here again.

I used to order delivery and pick up from China Feng but learned that it wasn't that good, most of the time. A friend said it had returned to form and to try it. While part of the problem might have been ordering for pick up through Grub Hub, I won't be trying it again. Why: I ordered House Lo Mein. The menu on GH said it came with a spring roll. It did not. The China Feng menu says it comes with a fried rice side. It does not. All of the "proteins" in the lo mien were cooked quite some time before I picked up the order and were charitably, chewy, otherwise better described as dried out and tasteless. Go elsewhere for your Chinese fix.

So you walk up, and you see a generic box of a restaurant with the most generic of possible pseudo-Chinese ornamentation. Inside there are an adequate number of tables, one sensibly placed bottle of soy sauce per table. With the not-unreasonably sized menu, you can order a number of meals which are pretty much edible. You know the name of the Chinese-American dish? It'll be what it says it is, at about the price you'd expect. Since I don't always have time to go further up Buford Hwy from work to get Chinese, this plugs the hole with the usual Chinese-American suspects so I can absorb nutrients which will last me until dinner. Also, their health inspection score was 76 - C. This should surprise exactly no one.

I've ordered from here before and the food has been good. But yesterday I ordered what I usually get the General Tso's chicken and as I went to bite into my chicken I found a staple in my mouth. After calling the restaurant about this, I asked them if they could deliver another meal to my address. Well the guy I was speaking to said no, the driver had already gone home for the night. But he said he could have it delivered the next day (today). So I called asking if they could deliver my food and they said no they couldnt. I'm furious that I paid for a meal I didn't even get to eat because of their stupidity. Never eating here again.

Why is this place so good? Delivery chinese isn't supposed to be this good and this fast at the same time, especially when it's based out of a building that looks this frightening. Nah, I kid - it just looks like every other Buford Highway Chinese place, except this one is super huge for some reason. I've never been inside. Maybe one day, if I find the golden ticket in my crab rangoons. Anyway, except for THAT ONE TIME, this place delivers extremely fast. Like 5 minutes fast. And it's really good - something about the chicken tastes fresher/better than a lot of other places. They've got all your regular Americanized Chinese food staples, but it's a bit of a cut above. See, Fortune Cookie used to be my go-to spot, but I took a chance on this place because they delivered later and was pleasantly surprised. So, if you're in North Druid Hills, this is the best place that'll deliver to your area. This place for Chinese, Marc Anthony's for pizza, Bagel Palace for bagels/breakfast, and Mediterranean Grill for gyros, El Rey for Mexican, you're pretty much good to go.

Not good service. I ordered online, and an hour later I still had not received my order. I was told that he was on the way and would be there any minute (without them even asking my address or order information). 15 minutes later I still had not received my order so I called back again, and this time I gave them my address and was told that they didn't have my order. When I told them what I had ordered they apparantly DID have my order, but somehow got the address confused. I just wish they would have asked my address the FIRST time I called. Also, the food was decent. Not the best I have had, but decent.

I don't get the hype, this place sucks. For starters, I didn't get the "amazingly fast delivery" that so many others mentioned. It took the the an hour and a half...on a Saturday at 5PM. There's no reason for that. To top it off, when the driver finally arrives, he has the audacity to complain about his tip. "Next time, you tip more dolla. It too far." And no, this wasn't cute pandering, it was a direct command. Kinda ridiculous in my opinion when he got a $3 tip on $18 of food... All this would have been fine if the food had been good...too bad it wasn't. I got my first surprise when I opened the bag to see that there was a hole in the top of one of the containers of soup. Whoever packed it did not do it right so I wound up with half a bowl of cold soup. Their definition of fried rice is literally white rice with a packet of soy sauce thrown in...there's no egg, shallots, anything. The only bright spot, I'll admit the chicken was good, but it's really hard to screw up Sesame Chicken. The portions are definitely on the small side for Chinese takeout though. All in all, AVOID THIS PLACE. If you want Chinese takeout, try Hong Kong City. The food's better, cheaper, and it gets to you MUCH quicker.

I had high hopes for China Feng, because it is a rare occasion that my fellow yelpers have steered me wrong, but alas, I was somewhat disappointed. The food is very authentic, and is good. I liked it. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken combo and upgraded my fried rice to pork fried rice...they charge a ridiculous 3.99 fee to put a few pieces of pork in their vegetable fried rice. The chicken wing that comes with the combo is pointless, and isn't very good. The sweet and sour chicken was somewhat overcooked, but definitely salvageable. My main problem was the service. I went and ate in the restaurant and that was perhaps my problem. The only person serving/waiting was rude, and tried to rush me out of the restaurant. He brought my bill within five minutes of getting my food, got upset when I couldn't decide what I wanted, and was slow to bring refills. There are better places with better service, and I'm afraid thats the last time for China Feng.

as others reported, the food is prepared ridiculously fast. once you place your order, it's ready for pick-up in less than 10 minutes. we've tried the teriyaki chicken, kung pao chicken, and beef lo mein. most dinner entrees come with a decent portion of fried rice, which is always on the dry side, and has probably been sitting on tap for a while. food is typical for divey chinese takeout.. on the greasy side, decent enough when you're craving chinese, but not something you're going to dream about. this was our go-to chinese delivery spot before discovering Fortune Cookie just a half mile or so away, at the corner of briarcliff and n druid hills, which is far better quality. prices come to what you'd expect.. about $8 for an entree. interior is eerily quiet and lacks any semblance of atmosphere, so i'd definitely recommend this place only for takeout or delivery.

18 minutes. 18 minutes from when I placed my order until it arrived at my door. At first I was a bit leery of the speed of service, and the Sesame Chicken I ordered did look like it had been perhaps sitting in a warmer for a while... but once I had my first bite, I didn't care! The meat didn't feel like it was loaded with fillers, but instead was actual chicken. The sauce was slightly sweet and tangy, the meat succulent and juicy. The white rice was cooked perfectly, the vegtable fried rice was superb. My veggie spring roll was a bit fishy tasting, but that alone was the only negative. I have found a new chinese delivery! I will use them exclusively for my delivered chinese food needs, until proven otherwise!

Yummy Yummy Yummy I go something in my tummy.... I love China Feng. The service is very friendly. I stopped by for a late lunch and ordered the Schewan Shrimp with the sweet and sour soup. Total $6.00. I highly recommend this place. It's very clean, quiet and a pretty descent location.

The first place I ever ate when I moved to ATL in July 08! Used the good old Garmin to find a close Chinese take-out place, and I lucked out on China Feng. Location isn't too sketchy for Buford, convenient to me, and the food is pretty good! I've only eaten here once and the service was fine, but I probably wouldn't eat in again. For my friends and I this is a take out staple-- nights with chicken fried rice and DVR'd shows = awesome! Call ahead if you want but it takes them like 5 minutes to make your food (don't think about it too much), so you may not want to call TOO far ahead. The lady at the counter remembers us and is super friendly.

I'll keep this short and sweet. Big fan of the Singapore rice noodles and the fried chicken wings. Everything else? Not so much. I've never dined, in, though. I mostly get delivery, which is pretty fast.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
