Diabetics at Whataburger

Diabetics need to be a bit cautious while dining at Whataburger. Almost every burger is rich in sodium content and it is highly recommended to keep your burger cravings in control while dining at Whataburger. However, you can always satisfy your cravings for a burger by choosing Whataburger Jr. or other non-burger items from the menu.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for Diabetics:

A diabetic should resist from ordering any extra meat-based burger such as Double Meat Whataburger or Triple Meat Whataburger to limit the sodium intake and calories. Most burgers except the Whataburger Jr. are high in sodium and hence should be avoided.

High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. You should also avoid Avocado Bacon Burger and Monterey Melt as both these burgers contain a high amount of fat. Sweat & Spicy Bacon Burger will add extra 1080 calories in your diet so skip that as well. Whatacatch Dinner may sound tempting but the famous fish sandwich is also full of calories and unhealthy fat. Lastly, avoid French Fries and Onion Rings at Whataburger if you are already ordering a burger or any other heavy meal.

I'll have to go back once more, because I'm not sure yet. The single burger was small, I'll have to get at least a double next time (I should have better read the other reviews first). The burger itself tasted ok to good. I'd like to see them have more cheese options (only 4: american, blue, swiss, white cheddar). The cajun flavoring for the fries is tasty. The portion of fries is huge, it would be enough for me to split with someone else. They're also a little pricy; I would prefer the fries be half the size and 2/3 the price. My overall impression right now is: decent to good food, portions could be adjusted (larger burger, smaller fries), a little pricey for what you get, not sure if it's a "destination" or just a "good if convenient".

Heard about this place from my sister way before it opened here. She had been to a location in Florida and had been raving about it for months, so when we saw that one was opening in Atlanta we immediately got excited. The service is awesome. It has by far the most hospitable, helpful staff out of all the Emory Point restaurants I have tried (Marlows, Tin Lizzy's, La Tagliatella, Bonefish). They are quick to greet you when you walk in, and get your food out promptly. Food is awesome. The B.A.D (Breakfast All Day) burger is my favorite (Who doesn't love maple syrup, eggs, hashbrowns, and bacon on a burger?) The non-extravagant burgers are some of the best I've had in Atlanta as well. Hot dogs are awesome, fries are awesome, custard is especially awesome (Red Velvet Concrete FTW!) Don't forget to use the Woblet app to get a discount/earn free food.

Nothing really special... I got the cheeseburger - there was plenty of cheese, but the cheese overpowered everything. Could not taste the meat or veggies that were included. The bun was probably the best part - very soft and a little chewy. I also got the parmesan and herb fries - too oily and fries were cooked unevenly; some were really brown while others weren't cooked as much. The onion rings were better than the fries, but they were too huge and the batter was too thick. The batter was very tasty at first, but after a couple, it got too salty. The onion rings were also drenched in oil - one ring soaked through 3 napkins. I know this is a burger place and I should not be surprised to see oil with fried food, but this was way too much. There are better burger places at the same price range.

I've come into the habit of giving restaurants second chances before writing a review; regardless if my first experience was a good one or not. With that said, I've returned to this burger joint on three different occasions. None seemed to stand out more than the other, hence my 3 star (A-OK) rating. The burgers are cooked well, and are very good, but nothing sets it apart from the other joints than the decorative bun. The shakes are thick and good, but again nothing too special here either. For the price I'm paying for my meal here.. I guess I'm expecting there to be a "Wow!" factor. The only thing I may be able to rave about are the Urban Fries. Get them prepared well done, and enjoy in the crispiness with an amazing assortment of herbs and flavor in each bite. If you're in the area, and are craving a burger give them a try; otherwise, prepare to spend some money for a mediocre meal.

went for lunch the other day. the burger is meh. there is much better in atlanta, but if you're at CDC/Emory and have a burger craving this will do the trick. burger is nothing special. i do find it silly that they have a secret menu. in n out has a secret menu b/c there are only a few things on their menu at the restaurant. you're not even aware they have grilled onions to add to anything unless you're tuned into their secrets. the fact that burger-fi has a secret menu is ridiculous since like farm/yeah burger, you can choose to build your own burger, and essentially create any of the items in their secret menu. the fries were good, but a bit overpriced/overly generous proportion-wise. wish they had smaller portion for the fries (yes i know i could just eat less but that means i'd need self control and i have a hard time with that). and for most, i think the single patty is the way to go unless you're feeling hungry. it's not too thin but it's also not a monster patty. nice outdoor seating which is pleasant. service was fast. price was a bit excessive for what you get.

Great place. Love it because their meat doesn't have any nitrites/nitrates! First time in years I was able to eat a hotdog. Atmosphere is modern. They r also environmentally conscious which is always a plus. My only criticism is that their menu is rather limited. Could use more variety.

"The burgers are solid. The prices? No...not at all. 3$ for fries? (Way too many--how about a proportional amount for 1.50-2$?) and 2.50 for a fountain drink? Are you kidding? After everything, a simple cheeseburger and fries was 13.50. -__-"

  • Gus S.

I got the single with cheese and a side of small fries. Since I ordered the smallest burger and fries with tap water, I was able to get out of there for $8.50. It could have been a lot worse. I'm cool with the gourmet burger scene, but for these prices, the burger should have a decent amount of beef and everything should taste really, really good. I'm sorry to report that both my tiny burger (about the size of a McDonald's $1.00 burger) and fries were mediocre at best. I'll take a fast food burger and fries over this combo any day, while getting a lot more bang for my buck. One more thing. Maybe it's just me, but I wasn't thrilled about the loud music blasting in my ears either. I was there for eating, not dancing.

Good food, service, and location. You are greeted with a nice welcome when you enter. The staff appear friendly and attentive. I got the cheese burger, herb parmesan fries, and strawberry lemonade. Everything was great. The burgers taste fresh and juicy, and you get tons of fries. Prices are affordable, which is good for the college students in the area. There is metered parking in the back and a parking deck with free parking at various times. The burgers are more simple if that's what you like. I will come back again. I still think Flip burger and Vortex reign supreme in Atlanta.

Definitely on par with Farm Burger and Yeah Burger. Two of us shared the 1/2 and 1/2 burger (one meat patty and one veggie patty; on the "secret" menu) --- so good! The veggie patty is made with quinoa and is nice and crispy. The buns are potato buns...amazing. The burgers are a little on the small side, but probably the size we should be eating. We also had the fries with salt and vinegar topping. Really good! Everything was so good, we went back that night for dessert. We got the key lime and chocolate concretes. Ok, these things are $5-6, but are jam packed with custard and other layers --- well worth the money and you could easy share one with 2-4 people. And actually, I think you get way more for your money with these than you do from frozen yogurt places for the same weight item----and these are way better. Also really cool is that everything in the store is environmentally friendly. All the wood is reclaimed and I think most or all of the plastic furniture is made from recycled materials. And of course all the meat is antibiotic- and hormone-free. They also don't ask for tips...there's not even a line on the credit card receipt if you want to leave one! All in all, great place to go grab a burger (or hot dog), a beer, and dessert...while also getting to enjoy a nice patio (as long as you like the view of CDC ;-).

The food is alright but criminally overpriced. For the same money you'll get better food in a better atmosphere with full service. Even more expensive than Yeah Burger.

Like the food and ambience of this place. I especially liked the friendly service from Stephanie. Would have given 5 stars except for the surly manager who made me think twice about coming back.

The pros: great frozen custard/soft serve, huge onion rings, and great fries - all in huge proportions! The cons: the actual burger. Tiny patties, beat-up looking buns. Good toppings but that was the majority of the sandwich! The takeaway: get the sides, go elsewhere if you're jonesin' for a juicy burger.

I just want to begin by saying that they got my order wrong. I ordered a plain double patty with lettuce, tomato, and the special sauce. When my food arrived (had a coworker pick it up), it had sauerkraut on it. At first, I was disappointed. Then, I ate it. It was so delicious, I didn't even care that it was the incorrect burger. In fact, next time I go back, I may get the same thing again! So good, and the fries were excellent. I got the salt and vinegar style fries, and I was a tiny bit worried that they'd arrive all soggy and limp. Nope. Delicious crisp fries with the salt and vinegar on the side so I can apply the perfect amount myself. Can't wait to go back!

This is probably my least favorite burger joint... I love the thought and theme of the place. I was excited to finally try this place. I got a double burger and a drink and it was around $11..... O.o then I got home to eat said burger and it was SMALL. Smaller than a Steak and Shake single burger. I was shocked. I ate my $11 burger and was still hungry. Not a fan of that. Lower their price and I would probably be a lunch regular.

I went there first time last week with two co workers during lunch hour. It was super busy. It is directly across from CDC. The area is nice, atmosphere inside is nice. The menu is easy to read and has good variety. I ordered the veggie burger (I think it was called Veggify). It was about $7 just for the burger. The lemonade was additional 2.79 I think. So altogether my food was $10.10. That's pricey for a lunch, in my opinion. I got a table and sat down. A man went around with tray of custard samples. I tried one- it was pretty good. My lunch took forever to arrive. I waited about 20 minutes for my food to arrive. To my disappointment, the burger is small for $7. It is still tasty. It was seasoned right, flavored and cooked right. Strawberry lemonade is pretty good. Overall I will say this place is trendy, clean, good food. I am giving it a 3 because it is pricey for the portion you get and wait time was too long. It's not a place to go if you are looking for quick, cheap lunch. If $7 includes fries and drink then I will come back. Lunch combo on average everywhere is around $7-8. I won't be back.

Wow!!! They have made a new fan!! I had never been here before and honestly wasn't sure what to expect. The burgers were genuinely delicious and juicy. They had a wonderful flavor. I am someone that likes lots of meat on my burger, and so I was a little skeptical based on some of the reviews here. However, I can honestly say there was plenty of meat on the burger. Even if you have an extreme appetite you would not be able to eat more than two of these maximum. And the fries were absolutely superb. In addition I had some of those super large onion rings. Delicious! I think I have found my new indulgence. I'm a super picky burger connoisseur and I genuinely thought these burgers were wonderful for this genre and price range. I also found out that they deliver in this area. I will definitely be back!

I came here to meet a friend for lunch. The staff is friendly and makes sure that you don't have questions about their menu. Everything here is a la carte so that you can order the burger/fries/drinks separately. I decided to go for the regular Burgerfi cheeseburger and didn't get anything else. The burger a has good presentation - they have a grill-stamped "burgerfi" on the buns. When I got my burger, it wasn't that hot, which is kind of a disappointment because who doesn't like fresh off the grill food? My main complaint with the burger is how GREASY it was. The paper wrapping my burger was drenched in oil. Although people have complained about the size of the burger, I thought it was filling enough. But I just felt really gross after consuming so much grease.

Great food, even better service. My fiance and I wandered in for lunch one day after running errands nearby; we ordered Mexican coke, cream soda, Burgerfi cheeseburgers, and urban fries. It was soo tasty, the burgers were juicy and flavorful, the urban fries were crispy and tasty, and the cane sugar sodas pulled it all together. We liked it so much we brought 25 of our friends and family the next week for a gathering. We coordinated things with the manager in advance, and they set aside some space on the patio for us and even decorated! People went crazy ordering, and things got chaotic, but everyone was so friendly and helpful, and when I looked at the final bill I felt like I was robbing the place it was so cheap. I would recommend it to anyone who wants tasty food, great service, and a relaxed atmosphere.

all natural ingredient, price plus quality and I have to say this is the best of both worlds. make sure you get two patties if your hungry as the burgers are on the smaller side. Not too thick not too thin and full of flavor. a small fries will feed a family ! Onion rings are super big and thick , I am a fan of thinner onion rings.

  • Ilana C.

Tried this place for the first time. The burger was well cooked but was a simple cheese burger. The sides were awesome. I got the onion rings and fries. Holy cow this was the biggest onion ring I think I ever had and made just the way I like it crispy. My brother got the Parmesan seasoned fries and onion rings. Had to try them and definitely approve. Overall great place for a quick bite to eat.

I was meeting someone for lunch who works nearby, so this was one of the suggestions on our list. Ultimately, it was chosen, obviously. You can park a meters on the street or take advantage of the free (2 hours before 5pm) parking deck. During the busy lunch time, there is usually someone there helping with tickets and payments (for those that stay longer than the free hours). There was not a long wait to order during the lunch period. The standard burgers on their menu are doubles. I opted for the Build Your Best Burger as I didn't think I could handle two patties. A number of toppings are free, but there are a number of others that cost $1 each (for example, fried egg, bliee cheese, onion ring, etc.). With my burger, I also ordered fresh cut fries and a soda. Yay for Coke Freestyle machines. My overall impression is that both the burger and fries were OK in taste. The single patty was definitely enough. Especially when paired with the order of fries. I was stuffed finishing of the both of them. Size was quite appropriate. I would love to try one of their shakes or concretes at some point. But I figured I had cheated enough on my diet for one meal. Something to look forward to in the future. I definitely would eat here again if I am in the area for lunch, but it's not a must hit up spot for me yet.

The food was good. I really liked the fries. I ordered a milkshake, though. It took way longer than it should have to receive the milkshake. I had basically finished my food before it was delivered. Not ideal.

I've never actually ordered food at BurgerFi, but I have gotten milkshakes here a bunch of times. I work across the street, and their milkshakes are sort of a having-a-stressful-day-need-a-giant-cup-of-chocolate-in-my-face thing for me. I usually order the chocolate shake. It's SUPER creamy and thick. Really good. And they even put in some chocolate syrup swirls for a bonus delight. Kinda pricy, but hits the spot when you just need some milkshake in your life.

This chain is growing all over Atlanta - and it is hard to find decent help. Basically, a Sonic with WiFi. The "service" was terrible and not sure if there was any management on-site. The few staffers were trolling and not much getting done at 3pm in the afternoon. Food is average and pricey.

My mouth is beyond happy right now! BurferFi is such a cute little place to be at and it's also one of my favorite burger place in town. I heard of this chain for a while, it's a Florida chain that just recently started popping up in the U.S. What really caught my eye was definitely the ambiance; spacious and open just from looking at it from the outside with such a lively "green" signature color decor. The place is large and open, all wood with some plastic metal tables, cool vibe. It's also pretty cool that they brand their burgers with their logo. There's ample seating inside and even some outside on the patio when the weather's nice. For some reason my burger cravings are at an all time high during this time of the year, so stopping here was a must. BurgerFi is all earth friendly and pretty much offers mostly natural higher quality burgers, unique hot dogs, fries, onion rings, fresh from the farm frozen custards, frozen Concretes, and craft beer on tap or in the bottle and wine. Plus they have a "Secret Menu" with 9 items. The secret menu looks seducing, but I always ended up customizing my burger because I love the large variety of free toppings to choose from: Single Cheese with mayo, ketchup, Fi sauce, Jalapenos, Salt/ Vinegar Chip, Fried Egg, Lettuce, and Hickory Bacon. The burger is just enough food for me and it comes with super soft bun with the logo, BURGERFI, pressed onto it. The fries were fresh cut and fried well, while the onion rings were huge. Overall, perfect for a quick bite. Did I mention that their service is outstanding. Everyone is so friendly & attentive. Also the burgers are on the smaller side so make note of that before you come here. You really get what pay for so I'm not complaining about the price. I thought it was very reasonable. I will definitely be back.

It's not bad overrall for a burger joint. I came here with a few friends during lunch hour to grab a bite. The interior of this place is half wood, half metal. It's pretty spacious for such a small place and it even has a place for outside eating. The staffs are pretty friendly, even tried to be funny when they brought a concrete for one of my friends. I ordered a triple stack burger with cheese, regular fries, and a one-size for all drink. The wholr thing cost $15, which is (eh), can't say much. The burger itself had a label imprinted on top of the burger with its brand logo, which I thought was pretty neat. Although the burger was decently average - in my head, I imagined the burger being a bit bigger, despite the term "triple stack". Fries was decent too though I can't imagine why it would be any different from other restaurants. When you also get a drink, there's no small, medium, or large.. just a one-size for all cup. Overall, my experience at this place was fair. I had no problems with my food, or service. I recommend this place if you're looking for a burger from noon to 'late night'. Did I mention that? Late night means... I have no clue what late night means.

The food was good, in fact the fries were amazing but...if I were the manager I would fire everyone including myself for keeping such a nasty front of the house and restroom. It makes me wonder what the back of house looks like . The floors were disgusting. I could hardly walk from sticking to the floor with each step. It kept my flip flop in one step. There was soooo much mold on, in, and around the toilet it was apparent that no one has EVER cleaned it!! Even though the food tasted good, due to the lack of cleanliness, I won't be back.

The service here was very friendly so I enjoyed my visit. I wanted to get a concrete shake but the machine was broken. However, the cashier gave me 10% off for the inconvenience which I appreciated. I got a single cheeseburger with tomato, lettuce, mayo, ketchup, white cheddar and bacon. The flavor was fine, but for whatever reason it was cold when I got it, like it had been sitting around for awhile. This is odd because I had a buzzer, so it should have been called as soon as the burger was ready. Based on this, I probably wouldn't come back for lunch, but might come back for Thursday trivia!

BurgerFi's frozen custards are absolutely delicious and are what set this burger joint apart from others in the area. I am a sucker for plain old vanilla. Their vanilla concrete is delicious and comes with whipped cream on top. If you've never had frozen custard it is like a thicker creamier version of soft serve ice cream. They also have lots of mix-ins and toppings if you want to get a little crazy. The burgers and fries here are also very good. The buns that their burgers come on are pretty thin and their burgers are doubles (unless you specify otherwise). This makes for a very juicy, meaty burger rather than a burger where all you taste is bread and toppings. The large fries here are huge - definitely more than enough for two or three people to share. BurgerFi has a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine instead of ordinary fountain drinks. I love the options these machines give...however I always end up going for something very out of the ordinary that tastes like it wasn't created for a reason. Fun to try, but maybe sticking to the tried and true soft drink flavors is the best course of action. I will definitely be back to BurgerFi. They have tons of weekly specials, great food, and a clean nice atmosphere.

Our group did a fundraiser here to raise money for a medical trip to Thailand. Our fundraiser was six months before our trip, and we raised a decent bit of money. However we never saw a cent. I have tried to call and email numerous times and eventually started getting hung up on and ignored.

Pros: Juicy burger, which is to say it's not dry. Fries are hot and crispy. Nice location. A small plaza with other nice stores and restaurants within walking distance. Cons: Burger is surprisingly small for the price. 7 bucks and I could effortlessly palm it with one hand. They make up for it with a hefty serving of fries. A regular size (smallest one they offer) could feed 2 or 3 people. Nothing special about the flavor of the burgers or the fries. REALLY NOT BAD AT ALL. But...Nothing wow'd me. I'm not a burger connoisseur or anything, but I really don't see what the hype is about. None the less, I did clean my plate. Overall...I'm not moved.

Didn't want to write a negative review until I gave them a fair shot, even the best restaurants have off days. To start, the food is actually pretty good , but the service has been very slow on multiple occasions for a place that's semi fast food. Take out typically takes 30+ minutes and on the 3 times I have ordered takeout from here it's never been ready when i got there, typically 15 minute wait at least until the food is ready. Food I'd give 3-4 stars, slow service I'd give a 2. Everyone is super friendly here though. But gotta step it up with the waiting

So I had two problems 1. The price. I got a burger and a fountain drink (no fries or sides) and I had to pay 10 dollars! $10 dollars for something that I would only describe as marginally better than Steak n Shake. 2. The attitude. I had never been before, so I just ordered the cheese burger with no tomato (there was one on the menu). I was met with such a condescending tone of "Don't you mean the BurgerFi Cheese burger?" and other snide questions that I found really unnecessary. It made me feel incredibly uncomfortable as a customer. I probably will not return, because if I want expensive burgers and attitude, I'd rather go to the Vortex.

I was thoroughly impressed with this place. They have a small menu with hotdogs, burgers, fries, onion rings, and milk shakes (I think they even have a salad!). I ordered a "green style" burger with garlic aioli, white cheddar, grilled onions, and tomato. Usually when you order a lettuce wrap or a burger without the bun, they serve the patty on a bed of lettuce. This is the first time I've ever had the burger wrapped in lettuce strong enough to be picked up. It was awesome! The burger was juicy and delicious. Our group ordered two orders of their large fries. OMG. The fries portions are HUGE. There were six of us and we barely made a dent in either order. We had the regular and parmesan garlic fries. I actually preferred the regular. I think I would have liked the others if they had been served with garlic aioli. I saw someone with an order of the thickest onion rings I've ever seen. Would love to try those next time. The milkshakes looked delicious also. The only con is they give you a child's size plastic cup when you order water. I asked for a larger cup and she offered me two of the mini-sized cups. People who order water actually drink the same amount as normal people. It would be nice to not have to get up every five minutes to refill my miniature cup. Great place for lunch or a casual dinner. Sit on the patio for people watching.

"Mmm-mmmm. That is a tasty burger." -- Pulp Fiction (1994) It's the BurgerFi-cation of the nation, or so they say. Focusing on all-natural, grass-fed beef (no chemicals, and no additives) and healthier menu options, BurgerFi is working on doing the burger thang right. They do the usual regular "free" toppings - ya know, mayo, mustard, ketchup, pickles, onions, tomatoes, lettuce... but then you can also get Garlic Mayo, A-1 Sauce, or the BurgerFi Sauce - I wish I could tell you what this is. Unfortunately, they did not really put enough on my burger to even tell you if I liked it. If you want to "indulge," you can add things like: Cheese (they seriously need more options), Fried Egg, Salt & Vinegar Potato Chips (yes, ON your burger), Grilled Mushrooms, an Onion Ring, BurgerFi Chili or Hickory Bacon. Overall the burger was delicious. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and the burger is not too huge. Men, you might need to order a double (or more). The bun is not too bready and perfectly toasted. Side options are fries (which you can fancify with Salt & Vinegar, Parmesan Cheese & Herbs (highly recommend!), Hot Cajun Spices, Cheese Sauce, or BurgerFi® Chili. Or you can get the Onion rings, which are gigantic. And when you just cannot decide (like me), you can get half and half, or as they call it, Cry & Fries. Both the fries and the rings were delicious. These are some of the best fries in town, hands down. They do have a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine (always a draw), but what makes me happier is that they have Mexican Coke, Sprite and Fanta Orange. For those of you who don't know, this means they are made with real cane sugar like in the "olden days." I also got to try the Chocolate Custard thanks to a check-in special (on that other app). It's rich and creamy and chocolatey and magically delicious (I feel like a cereal commercial suddenly...but it IS magically delicious.) Other things I would like to call out (pardon me while I slide into full on "green" mode. Their napkins are from recycled materials. They use short condiment cups. They have the plasticware in a one-by-one dispenser to eliminate the plastic wrapper waste. All that's missing is compostable items and recycle and compost bins - just sayin'.

The irony of this place is palpable. Aside from the fact that it's several years late to the Atlanta gourmet burger wars, this fast-casual hamburger house is situated directly across the street from the nation's leading health protection agency. In the end, the food here is by no means criminal, but unfortunately, the all-natural grass-fed burger schtick has already been done elsewhere - and much better, quite frankly. Food: In addition to burgers, the menu at this place also offers various types of hot dogs and a limited selection of "accessories" (fresh cut fries or onion rings). Dessert options include cupcakes and multiple different frozen custard concoctions, including shakes, floats, sundaes, concretes, cups, and cones. Alcohol is also available. During my visit, I opted for the chicken apple dog and also shared a large order of fresh-cut fries, both of which were acceptable. Unfortunately, the concrete I ordered after the meal didn't fare as well - the frozen custard had a slightly congealed texture and the alleged "mix-in's" were virtually non-existent. Service: Consistent with the overly intrusive, and frequently awkward, service trend in many Atlanta area fast-food restaurants, a staff member screams "welcome to Burgerfi" at every patron who graces the doors of the place, to which the rest of the staff follow with "all-natural". All orders are placed at a central counter and your food is brought out to you once it's ready - of course, the delivery is not complete without a final staff member thanking you for eating "all-natural". Atmosphere: I was told that the interior of this place was comprised of environmentally sustainable components, including chairs that are made from recycled Coke bottles, tables made out of compressed recycled wood, and low power consumption fans. They also maintain a stringent recycling program, which is refreshing to see for a fast-food chain concept in Atlanta. Cost: The food items themselves aren't necessarily pricey, but everything is a la carte, so your bill can quickly add up. The overall bill for two people, including a burger, chicken dog, large order of fries, and two drinks, clocked in at over $25. Other: Burgerfi is located in the Emory Point Plaza - the front entrance of the restaurant faces out toward Clifton Rd. Free parking is available in the plaza garage for up to two hours. I had originally thought that this place was some type of wi-fi influenced burger concept, but apparently the name is a shorthand version of the term "burgerfication", which the franchise describes as America's growing expectations for a burger with "the flavor and tenderness that we've come to expect in a fine steak".

The burgers are of decent quality, but they're pretty small for the price tag. I got the BurgerFi burger and it was already $6! I didn't get anything else because of that price. I did enjoy some samples of frozen custard, though, which were pretty good. A thicker version of soft serve, it reminded me of the frozen custard at Shake Shack. But I was put off by the customer service there. As I walked up to the counter (no one else was in line so it's not like they were swamped), the two employees at the registers were chatting away and just glanced at me before going back to their conversation. I had to wait about a minute or so before they finally finished their conversation and one of them turned to me and asked what I wanted.

There's a lot of great toppings but the meat itself is not flavorful. No seasoning. I would go with 5 guys over this any day, especially considering they are cheaper.

Two stars sounds harsh, but the yelp guideline says that two stars means "Meh. I've experienced better." That is exactly how I feel about this place. I have had far better burgers not only at gourmet sit down restaurants, but also at take-away fast foodie places such as Kraze Burger or Five Guys. I got the Breakfast All Day Burger. The bacon was nice and crispy, but the hash brown was a little bit soggy and the egg looked like it came from the same place as those weirdly shaped eggs that come on top of an Egg McMuffin at Mickey D's. They only cook their burgers medium well, which I think is a bit overdone. Also, as others have noted, this place is waaay too expensive. My burger was pretty small. I finished it pretty quickly and could have eaten more. I'm a pretty small guy who doesn't usually leave a table hungry. And for that, I paid over $7. Probably won't be coming back here to be honest.

I've been here a couple times. If you are starving and desperate for a burger, as many Americans are wont to be, this is the place for you. The burgers are fine, the fry toppings are overrated. Just get your fries plain if your palette is light. The fry toppings don't really add to the fries. The staff is super eager and enthusiastic, the place is clean and trendy and they have a large assortment of things to choose from in terms of beverages. Sometimes I have to wait 10-15 minutes for my order, which is a drag. I had a milkshake there once, it was alright. I would go for desert. The prices are a little over the top which is why I don't frequent that often, almost $20 for an average American meal? Goodness. This place certainly isn't bad, but I've had better.

Not bad, not bad. In short, the burger was tasty enough- the bread wasn't wimpy- and it all came together pretty well. The fries were pretty good too- crispy, but not too much so. Nothing overwhelming or anything, but solid.

Bugerfi is much like the other "gourmet" burger joints in the area (i.e. Farmburger, Yeah Burger, Grindhouse) but is probably most similar to Grindhouse in its burgers. The burgers and fries are good, but I wouldn't say they're spectacular. For the price, I would say there's better options to be had (Yeah Burger, specifically). They really do make a point that their stores, tables, napkins, etc are all from sustainable resources (i.e. recycled material), and their beef is grass-fed. I'm appreciative of this, but I believe this allows for higher prices. There's free parking (at night, at least) in the deck around the corner (it's down the main drag of Emory Point). Bottom line: Give it a shot. Not sure it's on the top of my list for burger joints, though.

Great burger. Nice crispy fries. One order of fries is enough for two people. The burgers on the menu are doubles. I could not have handled a double burger AND a full order of fries.

The burgers here are OK. And that's about it. Like all other places copying In-N-Out, they have their thousand island-esque sauce, though it doesn't quite hit the spot. The pickles are thick cut, so you get a pretty pickly bite and the dough is, well doughy. It kind of felt like I was holding play-doh, though it held up to the burger, which was pretty juicy, almost too juicy (not enough caramelization). I'd come again, but I think there are better offerings for grassfed burgers.

This place tastes just like five guys with much more premium prices... I couldn't figure out what makes this place more "all-natural" than the other burger joints that are out there. They really emphasize the "all-natural" part- the woman who gave me my burger thanked me for eating "all-natural" and when a customer walks in someone says "welcome to burger-fi!" and the rest of the staff chime in "all-natural" afterwards. If you're gonna be cheesy like that, the place better be very much so all-natural and I'm just confused. Anyways- the set up is similar to five guys, order at the counter and then you get a buzzer that goes off when ur order is ready. I got a single burger with an abundance of the "free" toppings- grilled and raw onions, jalapenos, tomato, lettuce, ketchup and mustard... If you add their premium toppings its a buck each so if you're not careful ur burger can come out hella expensive. A small fry was 2.97 plus the salt and vinegar topping which was not remarkable at all and was an additional seventy cents. I at first thought they forgot the topping because I didn't taste salt nor vinegar. my bf got a double cheeseburger with an egg and his total with the cost of the fries was 11 bucks. I would pay that much for farm burger but the quality here was exactly like five guys, not that thats a bad thing, just knowing you can get it down the street for five bucks cheaper makes it less tasty. The custard concretes caught my eye as I walked in but at 5.67 each, I'll save it for a time I'm really craving dessert. Overall, not worth it, save ur burger craving and money for farm burger or yeah burger.

Expensive and greasy. My partner and I each had the expensive brisket burger. His was dried out, mine was greasy, as were the fries and onion rings, No health side options like slaw or salad or vegetable of any sort. The burger even with toppings was not particularly flavorful nor memorable and you can find much better burgers elsewhere. With tip, the bill for two brisket burgers, one fries, one onion rings and two iced teas was $32.98. Did not feel that we received much value for price paid.

Solid burger restaurant. They are extremely into sustainability which gives them bonus points in my book. My favorite burger HAS to be the Breakfast All Day burger. The combination of eggs, hash browns, maple syrup, cheese and beef is absolutely delicious! My one complaint would be the price...the burgers are pretty small and cost about $7. I would suggest using the Woblet app when dining here-you'll save 5-15% off your order!

I've been to Bugerfi in Alpharetta on 5 occasions and I haven't been able to try anything other than the veggie burger they offer! It Is amazing...the fries are awesome as well, the Cajun is my favorite with the Parmesan herb as a runner up...I'm not a big soda drinker, however, they have the coke machine that allows you to make your own creation..this is always fun!

The veggie burger is delicious - great job on the patty. Fresh cut fries simply awesome.. Quick service.. The downside was that the burger was very small and they have only one veggie burger and do not customize other burgers as veggie..

Poor shake, slow service...about 20 minutes for two to go and no one in the place. Burgers are good but seems poorly managed.

Early disclaimer - This is in Emory Pointe, the shopping center was just built and the address is showing up in the middle of nowhere on here. This is in fact right across from the CDC on Clifton Rd. 1641 Clifton Rd NE will get you to the right spot. Lets clear this up early, I like to separate burgers similar to pizza... there are a few different "styles", you wouldn't try to compare a great Chicago deep dish to a NY thin crust to a brick oven Neapolitan. Likewise, you wouldn't compare a burger like this to say... a big 2/3lb from Ted's Montana grill or Fuddruckers. In this case, there should be plenty of familiarity with the style you find at burgerfi. Five guys, yeah! burger, ground house, just the ones I know of in Atlanta anyway. Multiple patty burgers, no need to specify medium rare or medium well. If you've eaten at any of these places, you're not going to get any surprises, which is good. Completely avoiding the whole thick vs thin patty preference, I'm only going to rate this with similar competition. The burger was excellent. I went with the triple, because you're always most hungry when ordering. I got the cheese, the bacon, went all out for my first time. I included a picture, the cheese was everywhere, simple yellow American (though swiss and blue were options). Tasted like *real* American, not kraft slices. bacon was perfect, bun was great, ended up melted into the burger by the end, just the way I like it. veggie toppings were all fresh and crisp. Im told the beef is all free range organic ect, with everything going on, Id be lying if I said I could taste a difference, but I guess its nice to know anyway, serve me the same burger with grocery store beef, and Im betting Im still happy. fries, clearly fresh, right amount of salt. I might have liked them slightly more cooked, but it was really close... there is a "well done" option that I might opt for next time, but I didn't have a baseline for that yet. Onion rings, 3 huge rings, check the photo. clearly freshly battered and fried. Shake, This is my only beef, the shake was excellent, required a spoon is all I can say, but for the price, I thought it was a little small... no leftovers in a metal canister. Ill get to price now, burger was very reasonable, I think a double cheese was like 6.50. cant argue with that at all. the fries and rings were another 5, and I cant remember about the shake. Maybe 4ish. its a lot of food for 15 bucks... but something about the cost ratio... When the "sides" end up as more than the "main course", I start to get antsy, like something has lost focus. Your mileage may vary. I don't like to rate too much on price, because we all value money differently, and you don't need me to tell you what a good burger and fries is worth. (even though I just did :p ) There were small fry options for 2 or $3, not sure how small they were, didn't see them. This is no 5 guys extra scoop in the bag. One things for sure, if you have restraint and go in just for the burger, its a great deal. restaurant was very nice, staff was very friendly. tip, the menu indicates that the preplanned burgers come with 2 free toppings, of which ketchup is on the list. Id hate to waste a good topping on ketchup, but there is ketchup over with the drinks... so don't. I think I saw mayo and mustard over there as well.

Expensive but worth it for the veggie burger. They ran out of onion rings and comped me a regular fried , which i had to wait for a while but other then that the food was awesome and place was cool and happening. will go back for sure!

Super tasty burger - a side by side test vs. the General Muir burger right across the street and this one was a clear winner for me (ambience aside). The beef is super tasty and you can customize the toppings to your liking. And I've had my fair share of burgers in Atlanta. For a quick burger fix - this is your place. It will run you $6 - $7 for the burger and $3 for fries (and like five guys, fries should be split bt two ppl). But these guys apparently soak the fries 4 times to get the starch out so they are healthier - I appreciate that and they were super crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, perfect. I actually cant believe how many ppl are referring to this place as 'overpriced' - the quality is great and it's only a few $$$ more than McDonalds - virtually the same price as five guys and it blows them out of the water. You have to set your expectations, this is fast casual dining, not really a date spot (unless you're in a rush to get to your movie on time). But for families with young impatient and hungry kids - this was the perfect middle ground for us. Fast service without compromising quality of food. Extra special plug - they have the cola cola and soft drinks from mexico with 'real' sugar and in bottles. Score! As a con, skip on the custard - there are better dessert spots in town.
