Good food! Courtney was a great waitress. Michelle said this is now her favorite pizza place. It has coffee drinks, a full bar and they were really thoughtful with the kids. They gave the girls little dough that they could mold and then they took it in and baked it. A unique creative way to keep them engaged and entertained.

I enjoyed the gluten free pizza from here. They have a nice patio area as well.

Solid pizza, sandwiches are good too (they also have a few solid gluten free options). Service is great and staff is very friendly. Two things could be improved, price could be a little more reasonable for their pizzas and second would be that they are closed on Sundays.

This place is phenomenal. The wait staff are friendly and very attentive and the pizza is fabulous. They have drink specials and lots of TVs. I come here often and am never disappointed. Try the Margarita pizza.

Love this place. They have great Gluten Free brushetta and cheesy bread (pizza without sauce that you dip into the sauce). They also have curbside pick up for to go orders, which is very convinient. Definitely recommend this place.

Ehhh, this is my first experience with Blue Moon... I opted to try the personal sized bacon cheeseburger. It was ok. The toppings were slim, there was barely any sauce (which in my opinion would have been the superstar had there been enough to taste,) and the bacon crumbs added an oddly sweet element that clashed with the other flavors. Although the pizza came out hot and fresh in fifteen minutes and the curbside pickup is super convenient, the pizza itself was unfortunately underwhelming. Wah-wah.

All i can say is WOW!!! I stop here for lunch and the staff was extremely courteous and friendly. With help from the bartender i decide to go with the Santa fe chicken pizza. What a surprise! It's nothing like i expected. Very tasteful and flavorful. I will be back there soon. Best pizza I've had in years.

I haven't been to the other Blue Moon Pizza locations but the one in Buckhead has serious problems. The service is absolutely terrible. The "curb side pick up" is a joke. What that means is that you pull up and stop on E Paces and hope that you don't get rear ended and killed. Then you sit and just watch the people inside ignore you. When you finally have to get out of your car and walk in, it's chaos inside. Everyone ignores you and if you are lucky enough for someone to talk to you, they never know anything. When you finally get your pizza, it's usually cold because it's just been sitting on top of the oven the whole time. The quality of the pizza isn't worth this hassle. Trying deliver is more of a joke. It's a 90 minute wait time. I'm never going back and that goes for home and work where we used to routinely order for the whole company. Fellini's I'm sorry I ever left you.

Just flew in from LA and looking for a gluten free restaurant and Blue Moon Pizza came up. Walked over and found the receptionist friendly and welcoming; the waiter helpful and accommodating. The Pizza was excellent!!! Hope to come back. Rod & vicki

Good, solid pizza joint in Buckhead. This has become my go-to spot for delivery pizza . They also have a curbside pickup service that's really convenient. If you want to dine in, there's free parking across the street and about a block down the street (they also have valet). The people here are very friendly and they're pretty quick to get the pizzas out. The crust is fairly thin and crisp with a good honey flavor, and the toppings are fresh and non-traditional. My favorite pizza here is the bacon cheeseburger with cayenne-candied bacon - it's really good! I also like the Luna pizza with chorizo, caramelized onions and jalepenos, and the classic. The pizzas are a little on the pricey side, but the "personal" pizza is big enough for two people. Definitely worth checking out.

I came here for dinner with two uniformed police officers. The owner happened to be there when we arrived, and asked what the trouble was (I guess this is a regular kind of question to ask when TWO officers are in your face). We replied that we were here to eat. He jovially exclaimed that uniformed personnel eat at 50% off!!! How sweet!!! How can you not like a place like this??? In fact, the pizza we all had were enjoyed and fully consumed by Atlanta's finest. I couldn't finish mine. Bottom line: I will return, even though I won't get the discount.....still worth it!!!

I'm very lazy but the service was so bad I signed up for Yelp so I could write review. Waited over an hour to check out and manager made no effort to help resolve or appease the situation. I love pizza so it's hard for me to leave a pizza joint dissatisfied but this place accomplished that. On a positive note the food was fine.

A group of three of us decided to go to Blue Moon Pizza for lunch around 1 pm on a Wednesday. Although I thought it would be a lot busier since it was (what I thought would be) right around lunch rush, there were only a few tables of customers dining in. Perhaps most customers carry out or just get the pizza delivered. Although I had tried Blue Moon Pizza a while back at company lunches, I had never dined in one of their restaurants. I had a great first impression of the customer service right off the bat when an employee quickly opened and held the door open for my group even before we reached the door. I guess he watched us approaching the restaurant. Very cool! Needless to say, we were seated immediately. The other two individuals in my group had already dined here previously, so I guess they had known about the lunch special - "Two Cheese Slices and a Soda" for $4.99. I thought this was an incredible deal for lunch in Buckhead, so I quickly decided that's what I was going to get. If you want to add toppings to your two "Cheese Slices," they're 69 cents each for the regular "Fresh" toppings, such as Italian Sausage, Pepperoni, Ham, Ground Beef, etc. If you want "Specialty" toppings, such as Steak, Chicken, Chorizo Sausage, Cayenne-Candied Bacon, etc., you'll be charged double per topping ($1.38 each). I had initially thought that this would mean a flat 69 cents to have one "Fresh" topping on BOTH slices, so I ordered one slice with Pepperoni and one slice with Italian Sausage. However, it turns out it's actually 69 cents per topping per slice - so an additional $1.38. When the server asked what I wanted to drink, I asked whether they had Coke or Pepsi products. The server proudly told me they have a Coke Freestyle machine. Sweet! As an avid Coke Zero drinker, I am very familiar with this machine and decided to get a Raspberry Coke Zero. =) The pizza slices are cooked to order, yet they were prepared fairly quickly and served hot and fresh! * Two Cheese Slices and a Soda ($4.99 + 69 cents for Pepperoni on one slice + 69 cents for Italian Sausage on one slice = $6.37) - Since I hadn't had Blue Moon Pizza in quite some time, I had forgotten how HUGE one slice is! Initially, I used a fork and knife to eat my Pepperoni slice, but when I was halfway through, I finally picked it up and started eating it like a pizza should be eaten. Mmmm, was that good! I normally don't like thin crust pizzas, but I actually really enjoyed Blue Moon's! I noticed that the crust has grains of salt on it so that it actually has a bit of flavor down to your last bite. Yum! Although I'm a big eater, I was pretty full after just one and couldn't imagine being able to finish my second slice if I started, so I asked for a to-go box. Our server was super friendly, attentive about refilling our drinks, packed my leftover slice in a box, and even offered - before I even had a chance to ask - to get us to-go cups of our sodas. How awesome is that?! That is what I call excellent service! If you enjoy their food and are likely to return, be sure to ask about their free loyalty card if they don't tell you about it. It's called the "Life Less Ordinary Card," which I only found out about through the people I dined with. I would have appreciated it if my server had told me about it because I had only thought to ask after I saw the two in my group include their loyalty cards as they were preparing their payment. I did, however, make sure to ask my server if I could get one. He then had me fill out a short form with my name and contact information before bringing me a card and informing me that you earn a point for every dollar you spend. If you earn 100 points, you will get a $10 reward loaded onto your card - and you get 50 bonus points initially just for signing up! Overall, Blue Moon Pizza in Buckhead gets 4 stars for their good pizza and excellent service! I would, however, recommend that the servers notify their customers getting the lunch special that it costs 69 cents per topping PER SLICE since I didn't think that was clear in the menu. In addition, it would have been an extra nice touch if the server could have mentioned their free loyalty card right off the bat so I could have completed the sign-up form while I was waiting for my food instead of rushing to fill it out before my group left. I will definitely return here for lunch, especially since I'm a sucker for restaurant loyalty cards. =) P.S. The Italian Sausage slice was great - even after microwaving! =D [Review 141 of 366]

Yum! My coworker went and got us lunch here recently. I had the Greek pizza in a personal size, and it was so, so good! It was a bit much for one meal but leftovers are good. I love artichoke hearts and kalamata olives.

This was my newest stop on my gf/dairy free pizza tour. Ehat a great place. All off my allergy buddies and special eaters can enjoy their time, where not made to feel like the difficult one because of dietary restrictions. This great eatery also boasts some pretty yummy selections. Oh the days I longed for bruchetta..I can't wait to try this one. The location This one is in buckhead if you are driving to fast You will pass it. When you do see it, you will notice there is no parking. Luckily they have a valet. The Service The staff seemed extra happy to see me, like I was an old friend they hadn't seen on a while. Very welcoming and understood my allergy The food In my animal voice, pizza, pizza pizza.

I recently ordered a take out pizza that was messed up, to where I couldn't eat it (I'm a vegetarian). When I called Blue Moon Pizza about the mistake, they were as nice and understanding as could be. They offered to have a new pizza delivered and even offered to add anything else (salad, drinks, etc.)! The pizza is great, and the service is even better!!

I'm surprised it's taken me this long to write a review about this particular Blue Moon. I'll preface with the fact that I am a very, very habit-oriented individual. I like my drink 'just so' and my food in a certain order, served at a certain table. The staff here is just phenomenal! The manager and staff greet me by name when I walk in and know what I'm drinking/eating. Atmosphere is important to me and they passed with flying colors. Servers are attentive but not "clingy", which is important since I read on my lunch break. The prices are VERY good for Buckhead, I would go so far as to say cheap. Their lunch special is a good deal. Let's be honest, if you're looking for gourmet pizza then you'll have to go somewhere where you can buy it at gourmet prices. However, If you're looking for a lunch that has amazing atmosphere and great prices for fresh, well-made food- then go here!

Came with a bunch of coworkers for a workday lunch. This place is like a sports bar, but a neat and quiet version, at least when we visited. The ambiance is good, great service as well. I ordered a "personal" size pizza and it came HUGE. Can feed two people. Thin but not so crust, a little bit disappointed. As for the topping, there are some non-traditional combinations so it is hard to compare it with other pizza joints. I enjoyed my BBQ chicken though it became not so pleasant after two slices because the portion was huge. You'll get bored eating the same thing for that long, you know. It is actually not a bad choice for coworkers' hanging out or happy hour, but next time I'll probably go with one slice+ salad.

After a horrible experience waiting for over an hour to order food at a nearby restaurant, Blue Moon was an oasis chock full of incredibly friendly service, great food, and a welcoming atmosphere. Their one and only strike is the parking situation: we were able to find something on the street around 9:00 on a Wednesday night, but otherwise you're stuck with valet. From the street to the table, we had 4 people greet us: two outside, the hostess, and our super friendly server Jennifer. Within minutes we had water glasses, giant pours of beer (20 oz, yo) and an order in for garlic rolls. A far cry from what we had experienced earlier in the evening. The garlic rolls were sinfully delicious. I loved the large serving of marinara sauce, as that's often my favorite part. The pizza topping options were varied and I loved that you could order half and half of any two varieties: perfect for me and my dining partner's opposite tastes. I can't speak to everything, but the Greek version was phenomenal as was the classic, and a medium is more than enough for two people. At one point in the evening we told Jennifer our tale of woefully bad service and somehow it got around to the manager. What did he do to prove how incredible this place is? He sent us free cheesecake. Incredibly tasty cheesecake. On the house. In the wise words of David K, super wonderfully nice people work here. And for them, I'll be back. Luckily the food also lives up to their greatness.

On one of those rare occasions, when my son wants to choose the place we are going to eat. The service in this place was top notch. Smiles all around, people being pleasant and a waitress that didn't disappear after our food arrived, not over bearing, but enough to know when glasses need to be re-filled or you need extra napkins. The one let down, was that a few of our wings were not fully cooked through, but even then the manger came over and insisted that we allow them to prepare more for us. Out of an order of ten, there were 3 that weren't fully done and I didn't want to have to eat ten more wings along with a whole pizza, but my mother agree that they could bring us more and they did (with a smile and more apologizes). Our tab came and I was pleasantly surprised when my son decided to also pick up the tab. That to me says, this place is, well, not inexpensive, but also not expensive for Buckhead. There was GA Bulldogs on most of the TVs so that earned extra points from our group. Another small thing that bugged me and to no fault of the restaurant was this group of kids. I come from a generation of where kids are seen and not heard, and this table that had maybe six adults and eight kids, they allowed those kids to rip and run in and out the door (which we were sitting near), causing a frequent draft and I couldn't believe that neither parents nor restaurant staff told/ask the kids not to play inside the restaurant or by running in and out the door, but I do hold the parents responsible for having un-ruly children. They deliver to my job, so I snagged a menu for that in the future. Good job!

Soooo.... I was super excited to try Blue Moon but it just wasn't good. One evening I was too lazy to cook so i called Blue moon for delivery. I ordered the Special which is pretty much equivalent to a supreme pizza and it was just lacking. I can't put my finger on what it was but it just wasn't good. I'm a saucy girl and that's my favorite part of the pizza and this sauce just wasn't that great. The toppings were good and fresh but with so many other phenomenal pizza places, Blue Moon in my opinion, just doesn't measure up. I will not be ordering from them again. :(

Good food. Service was less than stellar (we had a big group), but the manager made things right and refunded everybody's money the following day and was very apologetic. I believe they were just off that night.

Customize pies along with customize service! Sightly even better than the pizza was the intuitive, friendly and personal service we received here. Victoria was our bright and bubbly server who had us from hello! We were greeted with a smile, a plethora of great suggestions and service that was prompt yet never intrusive. She genuinely enjoyed her job and the product she serves; a rarity to find these days in the industry! We had a delightful time cutting up with her and Maddie the bartender too! Be sure to check out Maddie's couture cocktail skills as she whips up a mean El Jimador Margarita! I am the first one to shun Margaritas but not this one! It's perfectly balanced with sweetness and sourness and oh yea, booze! Go see these gals on Tuesday because these magnificent margaritas are only $5! Ashley, the manager was a delight when she came over to the table- we could tell she's put much effort into making this place run like a well oiled machine! Thanks Blue Moon Pizza for "pepping up" our Tuesday night; you've got fans in us! Best! :)

They are incredibly fast on a random week night and I was hungry so thanks for that! Outside seating is nice, except that it's on a busy road ... with a night club pumping bad music and the occasional sledgehammer across the street. The $5 martinis were a nice surprise. And the pizza was pretty good but good have used a little bit more of a kick of flavor. Still, for Atlanta, this pizza is up there. We got the white pizza, but buffalo and Greek looked like some good solid options also.

Back again and tasted just as good when the open for the day as when they were closing two nights ago! Still the same great service (always have to make sure the first visit isn't just a fluke!) They also have a fantastic gluten free menu and take and bake pizza. Look for them on Facebook and "like" to get free garlic rolls, and check in on Foursquare to get a free appetizer. Fresh dough offered to children to play with (instead of crayons for coloring). Unique idea and the kids at the table next to me are 100% intrigued by playing with it quietly while the adults have a conversation (and occasionally play with the kids making creations)! Great family ambience. Free delivery in a 3 mile radius. Menus can be found on their website.

Best gluten free pizza I have ever had, hands down. It did not taste GF at all. We got the pepperoni and the buffalo chicken (with grilled chicken instead of fried). Both were great. Even though they say the GF is personal sized, it comes with 6 fairly large slices and I think could be shared between 2 people. Only had the pizza so can't comment on anything else on the menu, but the service was good.

  • Mandi T.

The pizza here is thin crust and the crust is good! I may be a mini heffer but, I could have eaten like 4 pieces of pizza...the slices are not really thick and well, filling. It seemed to be missing a lot of cheese on the greek pizza. This place is fun and the prices are good BUT I still prefer Felini's HANDS DOWN and you order by the slice there when I want to waste calories. I will give it another shot but, average review from a pizza girl!

Blue moon was SUPER COOL we went on New Years Eve around 4pm it was dead but we were just stopping for a quick bite. Our Bartender was mad cool! He made my wife a strawberry mojito that she liked alot. I ordered a beer and the chicken flatwich which I'm now hooked on! We will be back for sure

EDIT: We were assured that our experience was a one-off disaster and based on this review were offered a tour and free pizza to make up for the bad experience. Never went & it may very well be a one-off fle, bit it's pizza & baking it right & using good ingredients is kinda the whole thing. That being the case I cannot review the establishment beyond that one experience & it still stands as a one star meal. Ordered a large pie with sausage and mushroom for delivery. Delivery time was really quick, pizza was horrid. The pizza has that weird waffle like bottom, which indicates it was not baked in an oven at a normal temp, but run thru a fast food conveyor oven or on those scren pans - like Domino's. The crust was under-baked, wonder bread like, and the sprinkle of black pepper was just off putting and weird. Sausage was 'crumbles' not normal sliced sausage. A $5 crappy supermarket pizza for $20. There's plenty of great NY style, Neapolitan, etc pizza in town. This is just weird, poorly made garbage. Avoid at all cost....unless all their pizzas are gluten-free (don't think they are), then I guess I'd understand why it was so bad & it'd be OK.

Blue Moon Pizza really hits the mark on so many levels. The service is impeccable with complimentary valet parking, curbside take-away, and happy employees that are always eager to please. There offer more than enough beers on tap to satisfy everyone's palate. More importantly, the pizza is delicious. Be sure to add the cayenne-candied bacon. Trust me, it makes sense in so many ways. End the night with their Key Lime Pie, a tasty tart treat that all will devour.

WOW! This place was pretty good. My partner and I visited Blue Moon Pizza in Buckhead for the first time last week on a slow Thursday night to use a half-off coupon from LivingSocial.com we had. We ordered the wings and a medium barbecue chicken pizza and 2 soft drinks. The barbecue chicken pizza was AMAZING! I am usually not a fan of thin crispy crust pizza, but this pizza has definitely changed that, I LOVED the hot crispy thin crust! This pizza had a sweet spicy kick to it and the cayenne candied-bacon on the pizza was delicious. The chicken wings were really good too, but nothing mind-blowing, just your typical mild wings with blue cheese. Blue Moon is a trendy type restaurant, they play hip-hop/pop music over the intercoms, and they have a couple plasma screen televisions playing different sports games. The staff is young and were very accommodating to me and my partner. This is Blue Moon's 3rd and newest location in the Atlanta area and the closest one to me! So they will definitely be seeing me more often!

Ordered delivery for myself and coworkers on a busy Saturday at lunchtime. We had a complicated/long order, but the person who answered the phone was nice and repeated everything back to make sure the order was correct. Gave me a total and expected delivery time. It arrived a few minutes shy of the expected time, was piping hot, and smelled divine. The order was correct, the delivery person was nice, and the food was quickly devoured! Really great experience and can't wait to visit the actual restaurant with friends!

Great neighborhood pizza joint! We had the portobella mushroom appetizer - 2 mushrooms stuffed with marinara sauce and goat cheese. This was probably my fave! Also, we had the bruschetta - fresh flavors served on cruchy toast. And for dinner I had the Greek salad, pretty standard but the veggies were crisp and fresh tasting. Mondays are trivia night Thursdays are $5 martini nights The service was fast & efficient - our server split the bill without us even asking. Parking: valet and garage parking (at the Paces condos)

I eat here once in a while when I'm sick of the other pizza places in town or I need dinner delivered. They have a lot of topping choices which is fun but the pizza itself is salty and otherwise bland. The crust is kind of greasy and seems like it was a pre-formed disc. The cheese and toppings are just ok.

We tried this place tonight after hearing about Blue Moon for years. I am glad we tried it and will become a regular. This is one of the best pizza's I have tried in Atlanta. They have easy valet for parking and have curb service for take out just call ahead and they will come out to you. Our server Emily was fantastic and helpful. We asked for a pie with two slices plain which is the way we like it and they said no problem. Like I said we will be going there more !!! Update: We have been back a few times and again it was fantastic. I wanted to add that there is a free parking lot about a 1/2 block away just for them.

3 stars for now for the limited parking situation that is located about a block away. I like that they let me have two different types of specialty topping. I ordered the personal size pizza (the "smallest" of the 3 options). I got the Luna topping: chorizo sausage, carmelized onions, jalapenos, spicy ranch, black olives, cilantro, and our house cheese blend. I also got the Jerk Chicken topping: Seasoned chicken with caramelized onions, bell peppers, cayenne-candied bacon, our house cheese, and topped with a Jamaican jerk sauce. I preferred the Luna topping but without the jalapenos (too spicy for me!). Ravenous me didn't mind the Jerk Chicken topping but I didn't like my pizza to have sweet toppings. I also like to keep my teeth intact. Candied bacon, in theory, sounds like a perfect combo. However, that sucker was so hard that I thought I bit into rocks. I like that the pizza was thin and relatively non-greasy. I might have to try the delivery option (if located within 3 miles radius) or curbside pick up.

  • Nicole S.

I called to order a pizza to go. There was an option for them to bring the pizza out for curbside to go, so I paid over the phone. The pizza was made in 15-20 min. As soon as I pulled up to the curb, my bill was brought to my car, and then my pizza a minute later. I ordered a half pepperoni half Thai chicken pizza. Upon receiving the pizza, I'm not going to lie, the Thai chicken part of the pizza didn't have the most appetizing smell (the reason I'm taking away a star). However, the pizza looked and tasted delicious. The Thai chicken half had a lot of flavor and ingredients. The crust had a kick of seasoning. I'd return to try out more pizzas.

My favorite pizza in Atlanta! They have a nice atmosphere and some out door seating. You do overlook a parking lot when you sit on the patio, but the happy hour specials and the garlic rolls are to die for! They make some fun concoctions that are worth a try even if they sound strange. The servers are great and always friendly! if you're in the area, hit this place up! They deliver too!

I've had Blue Moon pizza delivered before but never had the pleasure of dining in. Not only was my pizza awesome, but the service was amazing!!! I was looking for a place to go with my 3yr old son and the waitress so graciously gave him a piece of pizza dough to play with and baked it for him afterwards. He asked for a cherry and she made him a plate with a smiley face all out of fruit. I'm definitely a sap when it comes to catering to my kid, but I was certainly more than pleased!

I went with 2 coworkers tonight around 5:30. Our focus was drinks - Moonshine Margarita for one coworker (she said it was good but strong), cider for the other and St. Veev for me (cucumber overwhelmed). The draft beer was really cold. The Red Hare was very tasty with a good bite. One of us ordered a gluten free dairy free pepperoni and mushroom pizza. It was surprisingly delicious. I'd definitely order it again even though it's not my norm. I had the key lime pie and it had a great crust and lots of flavor, not too tart. Service was excellent and we sat near the ovens so the staff were running around constantly. It was busy but our drinks came quickly. We never waited long for anything. I'll definitely be back.

I haven't been to this location, but delivery was quick. Food is fresh and so yummy. I always get the margherita or the white pizza. White pizza is super garlicky, so avoid make outs if at all possible. Bruschetta is also incredible as an app.

This place never disappoints. They serve a quality pizza with big, foldable slices and a variety of toppings. They also have wings, salads, and a pretty good beer selection. The staff is also friendly and accommodating. Once, our server, Tracy, sent an incorrect order to the kitchen but quickly apologized and corrected it. The manager, J.D., also came to apologize and even let us keep the other pizza for free! This is our go to spot in buckhead for pizza. They also have pretty reliable delivery

Used to work close to Blue Moon and find myself craving it now that I'm further away. Food is pretty no-frills, affordable, and hits the spot when you're craving something simple and delicious for lunch. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is super friendly (they will literally run in front of you to get the door lol). Can't ask for much more than that.

This place might be a bit overpriced, but it is worth every penny. Specially for being walking distance. Not only is their pepperoni pizza perfect, but I have unfortunately ventured into this world of cheese fries they harbor and...I just leave you with: you MUST try them. You'll be hooked.

This place does not fail to please me! I recently moved a bit outside of the delivery radius but due to my customer loyalty they delivered to my new place and me and my roommates were so pleased!

Considering how often I go here, I guess I should update my review. This place is really convenient during work so I frequent it often. What I think really sets Blue Moon apart from Fellini's, Savage, Antico's, Johnny's, etc. is the service. I always get warmly greeted and I've never had an unfriendly server. I usually sit at the bar, and I love that they ask about your day, job, etc. to make you feel welcome. They also always offer me a drink to go, and get a new cup and drink instead of just pouring your current drink into a cup. Since my first visit, I've tried several combinations of pizza. The cayenne candied bacon topping is still my favorite; it's just such a fantastic flavor. I haven't found another topping I'd get again, but I'll keep searching! Their pizza is good, and I particularly like the crust which they put some seasoning on. The slices are $2.50 without toppings. Sure, it's not Fellini's prices, but the quality is noticeably better. It seems valet parking is complementary. There doesn't seem to be much if any street parking close by, so your best bet is valet.

I came here with a group of 4 during dinner and it wasn't too busy. There were probably 6 or 7 tables that had people at them and more than half the tables were empty. There was about 1 wait staff person per table. Food: 4 stars The cheese fries were good, but not spectacular. Nothing really stuck out. The fries tasted like normal fries with a strong potato flavor and the cheese didn't blend it well with the taste. The bacon on top was sweet which was enjoyable. I ordered a large classic pizza and it was more than enough food for 3 (it was only ordered for 2 people). The mix of pepperoni, beef, peppers, onions, and mushrooms were good for me, but I loved the crust even better, which tasted crunchy/crispy but had enough dough in there to make it flavorful. Service: 3 Stars This is the crux of my review. I felt like the place deserved 3.5 or 4 stars, but with 1 wait staff per table, the service was slow. Don't get me wrong, they are super friendly and are more than happy to help, but at times, it took more than 3-5 minutes to get people to come over and get our check, or get us boxes, or refill drinks. But when they did come over, they were more than happy to do so. The more frustrating thing was there were 2 waiters/waitresses that weren't helping our table but weren't really doing anything. Overall, I give it 3.5 stars rounded down to 3 because the service really stuck out.

A friend of mine had to do some convincing to sell me on pizza... Blue Moon Pizza is the exception!! The Cobb Salad and Cheeseburger pizza- ROCKED! The drinks and service added to the AWESOMENESS.

Our waitress, Victoria, was awesome. She had great suggestions & fun conversation. Be sure to ask for her. Also order the Santa Fe Chicken Pizza - it's the best.

So yesterday, I learned that J cheated on me. Yep. He has been to one of our semi-regular spots several times for lunch withOUT me and WITH the boys from the office. Hence Amber's enthusiastic greeting to him. She and I made buddies, too, so I'm totally kidding. We can't eat every meal together, after all! And we tried a very awesome new dish, the portabella mushrooms with goat cheese, basil and "Grandma's sauce" - basically an olive oil and garlic marinade. Good and huge- we didn't even finish them both so definitely a starter to split or a full meal for one. He went rogue yesterday with his half of the pizza (note we got the 10" which is 6 pieces - he ate his whole half and I only had a piece, hence scoring leftovers!) - his choice was pepperoni, sausage, mushroom and red onion. Not something I've ever seen him order before but he thoroughly enjoyed it. NPWH.

I am a lover of pizza. I enjoy almost every kind of topping, type of pizza, type of crust. What I don't enjoy is crappy pizza, so I positive review of pizza from me means something. This is not the best pizza in town, but it is one of the better pies. Understand, I am from Chicago and am therefore picky on my thin-crust pizzas (thin crust in Chicago is cut in squares), but when I want "Chicago pizza," I want Deep Dish. This pizza isn't really NY style either. But the crust is great. This being my second experience with Blue Moon, but my first visit here, I found my experiences to be similar. The place is not packed for a weekday lunch. My guess is people have it delivered to the office (or home) or came in and picked it up for take-out. The Service: The staff does a nice job. Our server was attentive, kept our glasses full of liquids, didn't butt in all the time (we were talking business), and checked in to make sure we were enjoying the food. The Food: Today I went with the White Pizza. It is supposed to come with red onions, but I decided that both roasted garlic and onions would be too much, (being a garlic fan), I opted to skip the onions. This is a delightful, no-red sauce pizza, with fresh spinach, roasted garlic, artichoke hearts, creamy ricotta cheese, and their house cheese (whatever that might be). It was rich, creamy and delicious. I definite improvement over my previous selection. The Price: A personal pizza, which is 6 good sized slices is only $11.49 - not bad for lunch and especially when I can only eat half of it.

Very much on the mediocre end when it comes to competition. The crust they have is just not that good, hard to bite into and no butter or flavor to it. The pizza itself had plenty of meats and veggies on it, so no complaints about it. My biggest complaint is being able to justify the ridiculously high price that they are charging for it, for what it is. My large pizza was $22 with two toppings. I am sorry, what? Ok, it was larger than an average large pizza from a chain, but still a huge markup. For the price, it had to be something mind blowing to make me come back.

Went for dinner with my family while on vacation. Wish I had one by my house! Server was wonderful, food was quick and amazing! I had a gluten free pizza and it was full of flavor. Top it as you like and you won't be disappointed. $4.50 extra for the crust but it was worth it. My husband and kids has pizza too and they loved it, great crust, sauce and sausage! My quiet daughter actually talked to her waitress to thank her for the yummy pizza. Had a entree Caesar too. More dressing than I prefer but great flavor. Would visit again if I could, great experience!

I had only been in this place once before for a quick drink while waiting to attend an event in Buckhead down the street and enjoyed the bar and the ambiance. But last night a friend and I stopped in to grab a bite and a cocktail! We settled on a Greek Salad, and their Buffalo Chicken small pizza (Plenty for 2 people) and sat at the bar. If you like the taste of Buffalo Chicken Wings, you will melt over this pizza. It was a real thin crust, with a spicy ranch buffalo sauce, with buffaol spicy chicken and blue cheese crumbles all over it!! YUMMY! I was told that most of their pizzas are equally as mouth watering by the patron next to me at the bar, but that is the only one I've had. The bartender JENNIFER was terrific! Very friendly and accomodating with a great attitude. She said she has been there 3 years since the beginning when that location opened. Re: DRINKS --The first time I had been in there, they had a $5 martini menu for happy hour...which made me happy. (Don't remember what day of the week that was) --This time, which was a Wednesday, they had $5 Mojitos. I asked Jennifer if she could make me a "skinny" Mojito...and she said she would figure out a way to make it less calories." I know...Pizza...and then a diet drink right? Ha! But Mojitos are a little sugary for my taste, so she made mine with just a dash of Agave nectar instead and it was perfect. It was all delicious and wonderful and I will go back for sure!!!!

Best gluten-free pizza around, period. If I was rating just on the pizza this would be five stars all around as even my non-gf other half eats it, but after the pizza it goes down hill a bit. The salads are small, especially for the price, and the cheese fries were unimpressive; again, for the price there should be more than 1/2 a piece of bacon spread over them and cheese should be on every fry. The service left a lot to be desired as well since we needed to find the waitress not only for more water but also for the check. With only 4 tables in the restaurant full it shouldn't have been this complicated, but maybe she was having an off day. Next time, it is take and bake pizza for us and I'll throw a salad together at home - the pizza is worth the drive over on it's own.

My wife & I stopped in for lunch. Service was quick and the salads were excellent. They even have a great gluten free crust. Too bad I didn't get a chance to try the pizza.

I have been to Blue Moon pizza a couple times now. It's a very relaxed place. We have always gotten very good service, and I really enjoy that you can get pizza by the slice instead of a whole pie. Overall I very much enjoyed my experiences.

This was some of the best pizza I've ever had. We had the Bacon Cheeseburger pizza with the cayenne candied bacon. Yum! The staff was friendly. Half of our first pizza was burnt so we got the half that wasn't and a whole other pizza for no additional charge.

I wandered in to Blue Moon Pizza oh about 20 minutes into the US/Belgium World Cup noon game. Apparently a lot of people had the idea of taking a long lunch and had gotten there early as the restaurant was packed. The hostess was very nice and diligent about trying to find tables or make a wait list for the fellow latecomers and me. Luckily, I found a seat at the bar and ordered a martini ($5 on Thursdays!) while I looked over the menu. I was in the mood for a sandwich over pizza and from prior dining was craving the Italian. I ordered and was prepared to wait a bit and settled in to watching the game/checking Facebook/candy crushing. When 50 minutes rolled around, I started to get a little hanxious (hungry+anxious) about making my 2:00 appointment so I politely asked the bartender to check on my food. While he was in the kitchen, a goal was scored (and those come far and in between in soccer) so I felt bad that he missed it. Due to the wait, he compted my food and was very apologetic. Another bartender announced loud enough for me to hear that everyone's food was taking awhile, but I still am impressed that my bartender handled the situation proactively even without knowing Blue Moon was a neighborhood restaurant of mine. I will keep it on my rotation!

A luke-warm experience made excellent! Ordered a margherita pizza for delivery and it arrived cold and unappealing. There was very little basil on the pizza and the mozarella was sparse as well. I never complain about food (having worked in the food industry for many years), but I felt that this experience warranted at least the attention of the manager. I was considering not going back to Blue Moon ever again. I called back and spoke with the manager, Danielle. She was excellent and provided some of the best customer service I have experienced in a long time. She thanked me for bringing it to her attention and sent a replacement. It arrived in 15 minutes piping hot and properly topped. Thanks for the awesome customer service and an enjoyable, hot pizza. The pizza is excellent and I recommend it to anyone!

Yum!! The Meateor rocks. They deliver to us weekly, however they go out of their delivery zone just to cater to my company in Midtown. Eating on site is a treat with free Valet and a great bar. Best Pizza in Buckhead.

Second visit, and the speedy service on my first visit slow to a crawl. With the restaurant mostly empty, I was left wanting for a refill of my drink for almost 10 minutes. The wait for my check was approaching 20. I hope this was an anomaly, but I might not be inclined to find out.

First time there a few nights ago. They have valet parking or you can parking elsewhere on the street for a fee. Seated immediately and greeted promptly. Was a nice environment even though there were a few unruly kids running around. We started with the garlic rolls. Hot and tasty! We then had personal size pizzas. The jerk was nice and spicy and the white pizza was great tasting. Tasty crust! Will have to go back and see what else is good. A little above average on price, but the service was worth it.

Top notch pizza. I have had it twice, both times delivered. The crust is fantastic, just the right thickness and crispiness. It has that nice hard bottom but soft inside. I got the pad thai pizza both times and it is amazing, highly recommended.

I like the atmosphere, but the food is mediocre. They have always been friendly and nice and it's a fun place to go with a group. Just don't expect amazing pizza that will blow your mind. It's about on par with Mellow Mushroom.

Just OK. Service is very friendly, place was almost empty on a Wednesday night but the pizza is just plain bland. Now that my pizza palate has been spoiled with more authentic/fresher options like Antico or Tartufo, Blue Moon just tastes blah...

By far the best tasting and most consistent gluten free pizza in Atlanta. They understand cross contamination and take pains to keep the gluten out of their meals. Big thumbs up!

Good for casual dining in and delivery. Kid friendly during early dinner hours and can accommodate large groups. Closed on Sundays. One of the few places that offers gluten-free pizza. This place gets 3 stars as it has been great on some days and a disappointment on others. At its best the pizza is crisp and the sauce is tasty with a hint of sweetness, all made with fresh ingredients. At its worst the crust and sauce lack flavor and your meal needs doctoring. This use to be a regular spot but after several tries and not knowing what we were going to get we gave up. Who knows, you may luck out and enjoy your dishes. A friend of mine still goes here for the regular pizza so that could be fine. It's still better than ordering fast food pies. The chicken wings also varied but the best flavor is lemon pepper. Good luck if you go.

I was introduced to Blue Moon Pizza through my office, one of the managers LOOOOOOVED this place so much so I have eaten there a lot in the past few months. I always get delivery, and its always timely and great! BarBQue Chicken Pizza is my favorite, they nailed that concept! I like the Thai Pizza and the Sante Fe! The Blue Moon Pizza is awesome, its served on top of flat bread. I tried the Chicken Flatwich, which was good, just not enough meat for my liking. They are solid and dependable for great food. One day I may pop into one of their locations.

Totally new in the Buckhead area so we tried this take out option. We ordered the jamaica pizza medium. Color me surprised when the delivery boy arrived 20 minutes earlier than planned and we were able to fill out tummies even earlier! Great crust and really fresh tasting! Although the type of pizza did not cater to my tastebuds I certainly acknowledge that it was a good pizza! Not a cheap place but the quality also follows!

Pizza arrived a bit undercooked. Had to throw in the oven to get it crispy with some color. After the re-heat it was tasty.

I have never been a pizza snob. I love pizza in general and for a great portion of my existence I have utilized the chain pizzerias to provide my pizza fix. But I came on yelp and saw how well reviewed this place was and said why not. Change it up. So about three months ago, with my wife nine months pregnant we went in. Boy o boy are we glad we did. We had a portabello mushroom appetizer with goat cheese and sauce and it screamed with flavor. Then we had the Luna pizza with chorizo, jalapeños, onions, cilantro and cheese and we fell in love. Everything just tasted so fresh. I fittingly washed it down with a pint of Blue Moon (as my wife looked at me scornfully since she could not have any of my beverage). Since then, we had a baby and have not been able to get out much but have ordered pizza every Friday from Blue Moon. (My mother-in-law loves the appropriately titled Grandma's pizza). They are timely and always get out order right. The one week we forgot we tried to get it on a Sunday only to discover they were closed that day. So lesson learned: Order on Friday! I now refuse to order from the nearby chain.

Decent place. Kids friendly. The food is hit or miss. The lettus was soft and the dressing was nothing to brag about. The caprese salad was fresh and tasty. The jerk chicken pizza was pretty good. The spice and the sauce were blending with the rest of the items on the pizza. The sant fe chicken was ok. The size of large pizza was big and 2 people could get full by ordering a large pizza.

I learned about this place through an employee who came into the leasing office to sign a lease for a new apartment while I was there. I got home later than I planned because of errands so I looked it up, and not only do they delivery to my place free because it's so close by, but if I call ahead in the future, they'll put the pizza I want together and I can pick it up on the way home and throw it in the oven, versus waiting for delivery! Also, the person on the phone said they have desserts which currently aren't listed online yet. She also said they're hoping to get online ordering set up soon. Next time I think I'll call ahead for the "take and bake" and check out the desserts myself. I heard her say stuff like key lime, turtle cheesecake, brownie, and something I don't remember. I can see why the franchise is growing so quickly from the Marietta location. It looks like really good stuff. It's like New York style pizza.

What a welcome addition to our neighborhood! Blue Moon was very generous and supported our neighborhood (Garden Hills) at our annual fundraiser this year, so we decided to give it a try. This is not just an average pizza place - there a many options on the menu, and all the food we had was fresh and delicious. The "medium" pizza is very large and portions on everything were big! The staff could not be friendlier and all work hard to please.

Pizza with class! From the moment we entered and the hostess opened the door for us, to the great server, to the fun decor, we knew we found a place that we would want to come again and again. The food is wonderful -- the entree salad is large enough for 4 to share if you're having pizza and a salad. Glad to have something affordable but that also offer high quality ingredients.

Loooove this pizza. I had a gluten free pizza and their dough was great. They put a little bit of salt on the edge of the dough and that something that made it great. Kind of reminded me of a pretzel. We went late at night so it wasn't that crowded. Victoria, our server, was AWESOME! (No pressure, Victoria. Lol) only down fall was parking. Pretty much non existent. But we will definitely be back!

The food was excellent, the sangria was amazing, and the service was impeccable. The garlic rolls were served hot and fresh out of the oven with a steaming dish of marinara sauce. I ordered a medium pizza half Thai chicken and half jerk chicken. The jerk chicken was spicy, sweet, and full of flavor! The Thai chicken was every mix of wonderful Thai ingredients on a perfectly baked pizza crust. They will combine two pizzas meaning half and half and I would fully suggest it as there are several delicious pizzas! BEST pizza place EVER!

My wife has celiac's disease, and pizza is our favorite foods. This makes finding great gluten free pizza a bit of a challenge, but if you are looking for the same thing, look no further! Blue Moon pizza is delicious. My wife has never had a problem with cross contaimination at any of the locations. We love splitting a salad and a pizza, but usually end up getting a second pizza to take home. It makes for an amazing breakfast the next day!
