After wanting a summer salad just as the Winter Solstice arrived, I realized I was going to be out of luck. Fortunately, the smell of pizza wafting out of Park Avenue Pizza lured me inside. The first thing that shocked me was the price. I am used to deals or lunch specials, but there were none to be found, leaving me to pay $3.00 for one slice of pepperoni pizza which didn't include a drink. I was hoping for that price, that the pizza would be good. Luckily for me, it was almost worth the price. The pizza itself wasn't the best I've ever had, but the winner for it was the crust. It was almost as if the most delicious garlic bread was attached to the rest of the pizza and left me wondering if this was the best crust I've ever tasted on a pizza. It had a ciabatta-like quality to it, slightly crispy outside, warm and not overly chewy inside and full of flavor. The troubling thing for me though was, I enjoyed the crust a little more than I enjoyed the pizza. Because I didn't feel like spending extra money for a drink, I just had water, which was given to me in a cracked cup. I pointed this out to an employee, and they replaced it for me. If the pizza had been a little better than the crust, and there had been a $5 two-slice lunch special with a drink, it would have been hard to not rate this place 5 stars. Until they do, however, they will remain a solid four.

Before I became vegan I tried this pizzeria and it was amazingly good. My husband and I went with the intentions of eating some of the pizza pie and taking the rest home but we ended up eating the whole thing! Pretty good stuff. My husband also ordered the cheesesteak to go and said it was good.

This place is pretty decent and near Park Ave and Rollins so the location is pretty sweet.

Ok so compared to other Park Avenue venues it's not exactly classy... but on my search for a good tuna salad sub in Orlando, Park Avenue Pizza is the current leader. They actually made it right!!!! And the bread was soft and good. Fries are good too. I would like to see how their pizza compares one day soon though.

Well, it's a cheap alternative to the pricey restaurants in the area... You know how certain places have a smell to them, and that smell attaches to your hair, skin and clothing, and follows you everywhere til you grab a showah? Well, this place is that place. Free samples of 'Eau de Mothballs' with purchase. Everyone's gettin' juiced tonight! This little trap serves pizza, calzones, rolls, and subs. The pizza is decent, but not great. I always seem to be in pain after a couple slices, which I am normally fine with. It's hard to pin down a single ingredient that isn't up to snuff. Cheese, crust, sauce? Maybe start over entirely. If you can stomach it, they also do slices which is a handy convenience. The subs are okay. But it's hard to fully enjoy them when you know that some grungy guy is back there making them without gloves on. True story, multiple visits. Oh, I found a long hair on my sub once. :( When it comes to pizza on Park Avenue, between this place and Panullo's, I'd rather skip a meal... or crawl on my hands and knees 1.5 miles to Brooklyn Pizza on Fairbanks. 2 stars for friendly owners, vintage-style booths and a TV set. Can we just get rid of the kitchen and make this place a bar?

A great alternative from the other pricey options. Just what Park Ave needs, a simple slice of pizza!

Best pizza in the Winter Park area. This is our Friday night dinner solution. A nice tomato and basil pie from Park Ave Pizza and a decent bottle of wine makes a pleasant end to a long work week. I haven't tried the sandwiches or pasta dishes, but nice tangy sauce, crispy crust and fresh ingredients make this pizza our favorite!
