I used to frequent a Restaurateur Chipotle store, and I have to say that by comparison, this particular location barely scrapes standards. The food on the line didn't look anywhere near fresh. The meats in particular were bad. The chicken was a pale sickly colour as opposed to golden, the steak looked hard and pale, and had definitely been on the line too long, as it was no longer the pink colour in the middle it should have been. The carnitas and barbacoa looked okay, mostly thanks to the fact that they had juices to hydrate them, but they still looked pretty ashen instead of rich and appealing. The rices looked average. The mild salsa was absolute mush. It looked like it had been beaten to a pulp, when it should have been bright red and looked freshly cut. The line was messy, which was understandable considering it was peak hour, but when the employees had a minute to breathe, they stood there instead of cleaning up the messy salsa line. The portions were also a little undersized by comparison to how I learned them. The restaurant was clean and the employees were polite, but the food quality needs work.

Chipotle is a nice enough fast food place with high quality ingredients. Even when the line is quite long, it still moves pretty quickly. The food is good. I can only speak for the burritos and salads. My go to meat is chicken, but the one time they didn't have it ready, I got steak and it was a bit too spicy for my taste. But my boyfriend, whom doesn't like spicy food, always gets the steak...so who knows, maybe it was an off night for me?

LOVE Chipotle, how good it is really depends on the workers though... I've had times when they've given me tons of food, and other times they give a quite pathetic amount, but don't be afraid to request a little more if that happens. The food always tastes great, but they seem to run out of stuff often, especially the chicken and brown rice, which is a little frustrating, but on the plus side of that... fresh chicken! My only huge complaint about this location is the lack of parking. Sometimes the parking lot will be totally full because of the surrounding businesses.

I tried the online ordering, for pick up in the store, and it's wonderful! I got stuck in major rain/rush hour/accident traffic to go pick up my order and was running about 30 minutes late so I called... They had already made my order :o| They remade my order fresh just in time for me to get there. The people working here are always nice and always want to serve everything very fresh... this is why I will go back to this location again and again and again... you get the idea.

Chipotle is a good and fast solution for your mexican burrito fix! I have been to a few and this one seems to be just like all the others in town. They are fast... the food tastes good... and the staff is nice. I discovered the iPhone app where you can do online ordering and now I always use that! I rarely have to wait to get my food. They need about 20 min to process the order but when I am in the mood, I will send my order in and by the time I get there, it is hot and ready to go... and paid for! I will say that today when I went in after work, it was the first time I had to wait. They pulled up my order and the girl at the register said "oh.. just one moment..." and she gave a slip to the people making the food. I waited about 30 seconds and she gave me my food! She apologized for the wait... It was dinner time and there must have been about 12 people on line so I was fine with the 30 second wait. ;-) All in all, I enjoy their food and like others have said, the staff is super nice. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because even with the food being good, it's still fast food to me and I can get a really good burrito at some other local places. Olay!

Most people at this point have tried Chipotle but if you haven't...basically you have a few menu items that you select (burrito, burrito bowl, salad) and you tell them what you want in it starting with a meat then type of beans, salsa and any extras like cheese, sour cream, guar, etc. Portion sizes are fine for the price (approx $7-8) and services is as to be expected for a semi fast food experience. Personally I dont get what the obsession is with Chipotle...I prefer Qdoba just because there are more menu items and sauces...but since i've been to Chipotle more times than i can remember obviously its good enough. The location in Winter Garden is good, last time I visited the line was super long but I got through it really quickly so i was pleasantly surprised. This location has indoor and outdoor seating too which was enjoyable.

One of my favorite places to grab dinner. It has become exponentially better since discovering online ordering. The last few times, I've been able to bypass the line that is out the door, by just walking to the register and picking up my order. The food has always been fresh and delicious. I also cannot get enough of their corn salsa. DE-LIGHT-FUL.

I go to chipotle at least 2-3 times a week because their ingredients are so fresh and the food is fantastic. HOWEVER this particular location has screwed me over so many times. On more than one occasion I have found chunks of burnt wood, almost the size of a peach seed, in my burrito. I'm not sure how they continually manage to get in there but it sucks biting down on one of those suckers. Also when I ask for a side of sauce I'm usually given a container that is less than halfway full. To top it all off, all but a couple of the employees seem pissed that they are there and have next to no customer relation skills. If you want the great taste that chipotle offers but don't want to put up with the blank stares of the employees, I'd suggest going the few extra miles to their other nearest location.

Usually really good. Portion size isn't consistent. Please don't get rid of sweet tea. Please. :)

With Chipotle you really can't go wrong if you are at all a mexican food fan! Good portions though agree that at times inconsistent. If they don't give you the portion you expect you can ask for more and they cheerfully spoon up some additional ingredients. Free refills always satisfy my larger than normal thirst. Good variety with huge burritos, well portioned burrito bowls and tacos (hard and soft). Would certainly recommend a visit if you are hungry!

They added brown rice which is a nice addition and almost everything on their menu is gluten free. Gluten free or not the food is always consistently good. If you order for groups Chipotle has an awesome online ordering tools. You can quickly setup an account. Basically you setup a new order and invite via email all the people that will be on the order. You have a chance to change the orders before confirming and placing. I have used it several times at this location resulting in 18 to 20 very happy people during our lunch meeting break. Give it a try.

The Chipotle of Winter Garden Village @ Fowler Groves is a great addition to the Horizons West development area. The food is cooked fairly well, although fajita vegetables can be at times undercooked [i.e. RAW!]. Portions are average for Chipotle, but the friendly staff more than make up for that. Beware of the chips here! They tend to be overly salted and sometimes stale. Other than those issues, I wholeheartedly welcome Chipotle to West Orlando!

Service is quick even though there was a long line. My carnitas bowl did not taste right and the portion getting smaller....

  • Anty R.

Worst service and waited 15 min in the line with only two staff On duty while other 4 people are on breaks - alot of messed here and all tables are not clean

  • Cody G.

Always friendly staff, almost always a line. If you have dietary restrictions, let them know up front or you may experience cross-contamination issues. Sometimes the burritos are wrapped messily, but for what you are expecting from a counter service, you will not be disappointed.

  • Umbreen K.

Food is good, your usual chipotle. However, the service sucks and the workers aren't the most friendly people. I came yesterday at about 12:30 which is prime time lunch rush.. And of course they were out of chicken and veggies! Had to wait an extra 5-10 mins to get it prepared. When looking for a table be sure to look at the seat before, they will most probably be dirty with rice and yesterday's guac and salsa stains! Disgusting... Unfortunately it the closest chipotle to my home.

This place is absolutely disgusting. The girl who prepared my tacos scraped the bottom of the carnita tray to place them upon a bed of rice and beans with a few measly beans. Is this worth $9.48? You judge for yourself but if this is not something that comes down from corporate headquarters then obviously it is poor management. GO SOMEPLACE BETTER AND SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED $$$

Not the worst, but never raps my burrito correctly and I always end up biting into a sea of rice.

This place is a joke and I will never eat here again the line makes you feel like you're in a cattle call and the food is mediocre at best

My sisters And I love this place for lunch. Healthy, Yummy food and you get to order exactly what you want on your food. Fast friendly service even though they are packed every time we are there. Fun to eat in and very convenient to order and go as well!

Five stars all the way. It's not the best chipotle but its still chipotle. Very busy problem with parking.

I've been to this location a few times and there's a line out the door just about every time; it boggles the mind, I have no idea why this place is always so full. Sure, it provides healthy-ish alternatives to fast food and is quicker than the traditional sit-down restaurant, but the food isn't that good. If you choose to not add hot sauce, cheese or sour cream you'll finally be able to realize that their meat, beans and rice are incredibly bland. I realize they aren't trying to portray themselves as 'authentic' Mexican, but there's no excuse for bland meat and beans. The service is average, they won't be winning awards for Best Customer Service anytime soon, but they at least get the job done. I can't say I won't return again, but I won't be dining here on a regular basis.

Without a doubt the most disgusting Chipotle I have ever been to. With the worst service. Kids seemed to be running the place and they were unbelievably rude.! They threw and smushed my food into a bowl, kept yelling at me "which meat, which meat" when I was trying to tell them I also wanted the grilled green peppers (I could see the server was about to throw my bowl at the next server in line) . Then the girl at check out got mad when I told her the order was to go (this was their mistake not mine, as I had told them it was to go from the start) ....and then basically threw the bag at me while giving me a dirty look, I wished I had of just walked out and left without the food. They were also unable to give me directions to their location or tell me what it was close to, despite the fact that we were in the same shopping center (a gentlemen in chick filet directed us) . I assume now that this was because they would rather not have customers. As if all this wasn't bad enough, The place was filthy and servers were eating chips in the back as if they weren't working at all.I should have trashed the food, but I ate it (2 of us paid 20 dollars for 2 bowls) and got terrible stomach cramp. The TX locations are NOTHING like this location and it was a bad experience to have while on vacation.

I'm changing my review to a 2 because every single time we come here they seem to be out of something. Last night they were out of steak bc it had been burned and we were told it would be an hour till it was ready. I have NEVER heard of steak taking a whole hour to cook. The workers seem to not want to work and are rude. They leave things off you ask for so you really have to pay attention. It's really sad because we adore chipolte but this location needs some serious help!!!!

Huge lack of attention to detail. Gross. Rude. Poor food preparation - from what I've observed after a few visits. I was actually told that my food selection "will not taste as good as the pork." Excuse me? I ordered sofritas, why would you try to sell me on the pork? They're lucky the location is busy but they could certainly use some pointers from other Chipotle locations.

Chipotle is a fantastic place if you're looking for fresh, sustainably raised product. You won't wait long, and the food is good. I love the speed of service, the flavor, but a few things that are missing that aren't from any other Mexican/California Burrito restaurant I've been to: No queso. What I wouldn't give to be able to throw some in my burrito. I know that part of Chipotle's mission is to raise and provide 'Food with Integrity' and queso at a restaurant level requires chemical stabilizers, but it's still just that little something that takes away from my typical burrito experience. I'm also not a fan of how dirty the tables always are - and there's so busy, waiting for a clean table just isn't an option. I can't count the number of times I've sat at a filthy table, or just looked at the dining room and opted to get the food to-go and just eat in my car.

Always a great meal!!! I used to go to chipotle in Las Vegas and California were I used to live and visit all the time and I remember the calories marked next to each item... I did not see it at this location... Anyways, in a hurry and need a decent meal? That is why chipotle is one of the best, or is the best fast food chains in the country. Always fresh ingredients...and supposedly they only use NON-GMO ingredients??? It's hard to believe it but I'll go along with it... I enjoy the vegetarian bowls! I don't eat meat and this veggie bowl is awesome... Ask for both beans and extra lettuce, white rice and the grilled veggies... Mild sauce with spice on the side... And if your super hungry get the tortilla in the side as well and get your gluten/carb fix and you'll feel nice and full just like a burrito!!! I WISH they had a SODIUM counter cause every time I eat here I feel like I've been walking in the dessert cause I get this huge thirst.... And that's one of the secrets to fast food chains... They'll get you addicted with the levels of salt or sugar... That's why I only go couple times a year.

Great location but super busy on a Saturday! The line moved quickly. The food was delicious as usual. They could have cleaned the tables a little better and quicker since it was hard to find a place to sit and eat.

Finally Finally a Sunday afternoon without a 20 min. Wait.....The Yelp reviews must be catching up with this location....now about the eating experience got a Chicken bowl and wanted veggies was told they be ready in 5 mins...ten minutes later no veggies( told me they would bring it to me when they were ready....fast forward to me finishing my bowl and 20 mins later the veggies are ready....WTF!! image how pissy a vegetarian would be!! Needless to say I WILL never go back to this location....yes staff on breaks with dining room dirty and missing trash cans, can't tell who is management and who's regular employees....locals can have and enjoy your long lines, blah service and ok food I will stick to my back up TACO BELL across the street!!! Adios Muchachos!!! This is my second location that has disappointed me the past few years!!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
