Surprisingly delicious! All along I thought this place was just a "bagel" place but I was so wrong! My mom told me she had lunch here yesterday and today I decided to come on thru. It's located right off Weston Rd, in a pretty plaza facing the road. There's plenty of parking spaces in front which is always great to have. The location itself isn't BIG but there are several seats and a couple of booths to take advantage of. The menu is quite different, everything regardless of what you're looking at look very healthy... They even give you the option to make a meal vegetarian! I ordered the Quinoa Greens salad and wasted disappointed, I've never had a dish like that before but I felt healthy just looking at it (mission accomplished) just about everything on the menu looks amazing, I gotta try more things out. Prices are reasonable and the staff is fast and friendly.

After spending several hours at Cleveland Clinic and finding the cafeteria closed we were looking for somewhere close to grab food - essentially quick, take-out as we couldn't spend that long away from the hospital. I'm giving Offerdahl's 3 stars - 2.5 stars for the food, and 4 stars for the service, so averaging that out to 3.25 and rounding down to 3. Really wish I could round up to 4, but food is more important than service, especially for take-out. We walked in at 7:50pm to find the place empty, only to learn they closed at 8pm. I offered to leave and not make the staff stay late on a Friday night but they were more than accommodating. In fact several food items we wanted to order had salmon or steak and they said cooking these items would take 15ish minutes but they were happy to do so for us. Eventually we decided we didn't have that kind of time anyways and went with the chicken and vegetarian options. We ended up getting a Johnny's Salad (the staff said this was the most popular salad), half sized Kale Salad and Tomato Bisque and the Ginger Thai Bowl with Chicken. Now here's the thing about the food....all of these items sounded great on the menu (albeit the things I really wanted with salmon and steak sounded better) but upon eating them they were really underwhelming. Forgettable might be a better word. Everything tasted kind of blah and in fact none of us actually finished any of our dishes. Definitely won't be rushing back...especially not when there are lots of other quick food places in the area.

Love this place. I love that you can stick to clean eating without the temptation of the not so clean eating. This is my first time at this location in Weston. The place is on the smaller side. I happen to go there during the lunch rush hour. At first I was not happy seeing all the people there thinking it would take a long time to order let alone get my food. To my surprise it was not that long before the line moved and very quick in getting my food. Very cool, I like when a place is able to handle rush hours.. I always go to my favorite the Hale Kale salad. This time I ordered a half size with chicken. Like always, it was delicious and very filling. I need to remember about this place more often. A great place to eat right and enjoy good flavors. I've yet to order off the dinner menu but look forward to it because from the looks of it, it looks very tasty.

Our office had a lunch meeting ordered a large amount of food for pickup One of my coworkers went to pick up the food and told the staff there was TOO MUCH food in the bag to please double bag it and they told her it would be fine Needless to say when she got to our job picked up the bag EVERYTHING fell out and rice was spilled all over car I called to complain and I was VERY UPSET at how they handled the situation I explained what happened she offered to redo our order realizing it was a huge order she transferred me to the manager and he stated that it just sounded like we wanted free food I immediately disconnected the phone call at that point. So many ways he could've said what he wanted to say or help us in some way So we all ate HALF of whatever was left of our rice bowls WHICH was by the way so so. Very blah food WE ARE NEVER RETURNING

This restaurant has been recommended by a few gyms in the area (which I'm sure has nothing to do with the fact that it's owned by former Miami Dolphin John Offerdahl). Probably the best lunch menu for the health conscious. I've enjoyed a few of their dishes. The restaurant is clean and inviting, but a little small. The staff are friendly and quick with the orders. But most importantly, the FOOD is great! I love their Baja Steak dish. Hard to switch to other dishes but it's possible. I recommend to anyone to try this place at least once. You'll enjoy it!

My new favorite lunch spot. Savory health conscious meal options prepared fresh. Their chicken power protein platter is delicious. My co-workers and I have tried many menu options and haven't been disappointed yet. Great baked goods too. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Will keep coming back.

This is our favorite place for bagels but we also love the salads for lunch. The chocolate croissants are phenomenal as are the muffins. The staff is friendly and helpful, particularly during the week.

Really good bagels. The lunch options offer a healthy alternative to fast food, while still offered at affordable prices and ready quickly if you are on a lunch hour.

We get Offerdahl's a lot for take out at work. The quinoa salad is excellent! Even better if you ask for it chopped. Also the spinach salad with shrimp is one of my favorites.

Jon S. says it the best in his previous review. The food is awesome, and deli itself is like a mini Panera. I love the fact that they offer a burger here. As a matter of fact, the design of the place, menu, and vibes are all 4-5 star. The employees are very kind and polite too. The only reason I couldn't go 4 stars is because when I ate here, they forgot my girlfriends order. We both ordered sandwiches, and after I was bacon-deep into my excellent sandwich we were curious when her food would be out. After a bit longer, we got the feeling they forgot her order. I finished before she got her food. No big deal to be honest, and I will be back to eat here again. Good , solid place to eat.

I always come here when I want to eat healthy but good. I've tried several salads, but always stick with the same: quinoa chicken salad. Tangy and fresh. My only complain is that the tomatoes most often than not are old (you can tell they have been cut for days). So what I do is ask for fresh ones and I get the most delish salad in Weston! Service is fast and employees are nice.

The black bean burger is a must. Service is extraordinary. Prices are unbeatable. A+. Also the salads are pretty big, if you go by yourself order the half portions. Believe me, they are big. Coffee selection is great.

Absolutely love the Johnnie House Salad! Add extra cranraisins and dressing. Yummo!! Cookies are outrageous too.

They make the best bagels in town. Great flavor. Dense. And coated with seasonings on all sides. Offerdahls is a great place to grab a bagel and coffee in the morning, grab a salad over lunch with friends. Its even a great choice to talk business or grab takeout. But if your looking for a deli or breakfast joint... even though the bagels are the best in town I would suggest looking elsewhere.

I am a regular here because their food is simply catered toward the healthy at an affordable price. The staff is friendly and your food comes out pretty quick.

My mother and I had the veggie scramble which we both were disappointed in. It came to us warm bordering on cold. The veggies were cold and the portobello mushrooms were burnt. Cheesy potato is not a healthy option and no substitute. The multi-grain bread was good. Our friends had muffins and they thought it was good. So baked goods - yes. Scrambled eggs - no. I ordered a fresh squeezed OJ and asked if nothing added (nope), and was presented with a bottled OJ. I asked for my money back. Service is good thus two starts but for someone health conscious I would try for the salad next time maybe? I prefer by far My Organic Corner.

Great place to grab some coffee or breakfast/lunch. I love the Johnny's house salad. I like the supreme bagel except it's so salty! Also the iced coffee isn't excellent. Great atmosphere and staff though.

Excellent place to have lunch! I don't like the salmon much...but the Quinoa salad is great! The staff ia very nice, and the only downside is there isn't enough space for the crowds that go there to sit.

Have you ever had a BLT? Freaking delicious, right?! Well, I might of had the saddest of BLTs at Offerdahl's recently. One small leaf of lettuce, half a tomato slice and one piece of bacon. I wish I had taken a photo - it was literally the saddest sandwich I have ever seen. It was on french bread. I bit into it and that bite meant a quarter of it was already gone. The bacon was delicious. It was very unique - not sure what kind of bacon it was but it was sweetish. One more bite - half of it was gone. I had the other half left. I stretched that one into 3 bites...then it was gone. The sandwich came with potato chips - I devoured those. The wife got another sandwich and it was stacked - but it wasn't for me. The BLT usually comes with salmon - and I'm sure that makes it more substantial, but man...could you throw some more lettuce in there at least? Maybe some more bacon? Can you make this into a real sandwich? The bacon was amazing - which is why the 2 stars. Plus, the gentlemen at the counter was super nice (the woman chef on the other hand was pretty rude.) There were a few open tables but almost all of them were filthy. Towards the end of our snack - I mean meal.. it seems that they burned something in the kitchen. This is my biggest pet peeve with open kitchens - the place filled with smoke and my shirt reeked of smoke. I know, it happens - but invest in the proper ventalation/don't burn something as it can really ruin the experience. Won't be rushing back unfortunatly.

Feels healthy, food is delicious- you order, food gets freshly prepared and they call you to pick it up. Very nice atmosphere, in a strip mall- you can eat inside or out. Prices are reasonable. My favorites are their salads- all seems fresh and tadty

Ok so a 5 star review is a big stretch but the service was good Keri is a sweetheart and has a gorgeous smile. It's the little things ... The salad is delicious and my Chai Smoother is everything!! Also I can work from here and it's free wifi!

I used to love them but now I am forced to follow the crowd to Einsteins down the street. The woman BLATANTLY ignored me and continued to try to help the woman behind me (although the woman behind me kept telling her I was first), then rather than assist me she WALKS OFF!! I am not one to play the race card but it could not be a coincidence. Then FINALLY she comes to assist me and gets my very simple order wrong twice, making me late for work. I used to go there 2-3 times a week but I think I'd rather go hungry than return there.

Wow!! Excellent food and great service. I work in Weston and am always looking for new places for lunch but I must say it will be hard to find somewhere better this. The food is fresh and healthy and gives you the jumpstart you need right around lunch time without the carb drag later in the day. The service is great and friendly. Small quaint location and easy to get to. Definitely a great place for lunch or brunch! Food: **** Facility: *** Service: **** Atmosphere: ***

Nice little spot to grab some fresh bagels and really good coffee. Nice service, plenty of tables, a few tvs to watch the news. Great neighborhood cafe.

So I am SOOOO glad that there's an Offerdahls near my neighborhood. I discovered place when I moved to Florida and they make some pretty great coffee (especially the Lover's Delight). Also their baked goods are pretty tasty. My favorite part about Offerdahls is their salad selection. I particularly enjoy the Tex Mex salad which is filling and a pretty decent price. The one thing I would say needs improvement is the consistency of the staff. Sometimes you'll go in and it's quick and the food's good. Other times, the staff behind the counter is not on their A-game. I'd still take the B team staff at Offerdahl's than the A team staff at the Einstein Bros up the road.

Sipping my smooth French Vanilla cup of coffee, I couldn't resist to give this place a shout out since it deserves one. Whether it's a bagel, salad, or something in between, this is a great spot I pop in to when I can. It has a small, neighborhood cafe feel. Plays old music (not to loud to overpower conversation) and the staff is always friendly. I do have to confess I mainly stick to my main favorite, just because it's oh so hard to resist (even when I convince myself beforehand I'll try something new), and that is the Johnny House Salad. And when I say salad, I don't mean bowl of lettuce with three crutons and a tomato chunk plopped on top leaving your stomach asking "Where's the food?". It's comes loaded--sprouts, feta cheese, garbanzo beans, sunflower seeds, diced tomatoes, cucumber, cranberries, carrots, and grilled chicken, topped with a house made balsamic vinaigrette. I have to confess it's a strong craving at times thats hard to kick. They offer some other great options such as soups, entrees from mexican bowls to thai curry chicken, and of course bagels and baked goods. My friend had the black bean burger and loved it. Great cafe with WiFi, always can stop by for a reliable meal I know I'll love at any time.

4 employees standing around, none eager to assist customers. Manager standing around, speaking on his cell phone. Poor customer service experience. Food is ok.

I don't live in So. Fl. but go there a few times a year and this is always a must stop. I have to admit the initial reason why I went there is because I am a huge Miami Dolphins fan and the owner, John Offerdahl, is one of my favorite all-time Dolphins. A number of years ago, my brother and I went there for lunch the day before a game and he was actually working the counter. He couldn't have been friendlier and gave a great recommendation for lunch which included one of their smoothies which I now recommend. But now, I go there because of the food. The rice bowls are fantastic, like the Asian Terriyaki Salmon bowl and the beef pasta bowl with the creamy cheese sauce and broccoli is also a favorite. Try a bagel if you can because they are some of the best outside of New York. Last month I tried something from their relatively new grill menu. Despite it taking a while to get done, it was worth the wait. Everything tastes very fresh and if there is ever a beef burger that doesn't make you feel like you need to go work out right after, it is this. Despite its large size, the whole wheat bun, and fresh veggies and the leanness of the patty makes you forget you're having a burger. I'm always amazed that this place, despite being owned by an ex-NFL linebacker, has more female patrons than male diners. A lot of times I've been there, I'm one of the few dudes eating there. Must be b/c of the abundance of healthy items on the menu.

Awesome spot any time of the day. Always fresh, always friendly. Nice to see John doing well, he was a great Dolphin and is a great guy in the community. Good coffee, great breakfast - many locals are regulars here.

Nothing like a fresh garlic bagel. Fresh brewed coffee and the weather was awsome for outside seating. Did I mention the friendly service?

As an Internet-TalkShow Personality...and a Foody...(and as my name implies a certain "cultural authority", it is time to weigh in on the matter. Offerdahl's Cafe Grill in Weston, FL is not only a great place to eat, but a warm and welcoming establishment to sit and enjoy (though it is a little small on the inside). I remember the original Offerdahl's back in the day and I have to say they are back and better than ever. The bagels, which are the signature centerpiece to the grill, are as amazing as ever. The menu is health conscious as well as mouthwatering (which is not easy to do...healthy and tasty...you know). The best part of the whole thing is that the staff, from servers up to the manager, Joe, makes you feel good not only about how much care goes into your order, but into you...as, in my opinion, they really seem to care about what they do with love and pride and you can feel it.

Great food, great quality. Just a little pricey but it's kind of expected in the Weston area. Overall solid choice for healthy eating options. I've only tried the salads thus far and have been satisfied with them.

There's no doubt that the food here is good and the prices are a good deal. My soup and sandwich combo was yummy (butternut squash and pesto chicken) and so was my friend's. The salads ordered by the people at the next table were huge and mouthwatering. But the service from the people behind the counter left much to be desired. One of the sandwiches was ordered without the onions or cheese but, even though we saw that the special requests were written down, the sandwich came with onions and cheese. I was initially ignored while I went back to the counter to ask for the breadsticks that came with the soup and had to interrupt the staff's chit chat to get their attention. When they didn't toast the breadsticks as I had requested, I was given a dramatic eyeroll when I asked them to stick them in the broiler.

i used a groupon here and have eaten once or twice and enjoyed it. the prices are right in line with the amt of food served. its casual and easy. no waiter service. bagels are not the best but will do. i think the store in weston really could use a deep cleaning. the staff seems to be worried about what time they are off from work....on their phone..texting. it happens everywhere but i really notice it here.

  • John S.

You know if it wasn't for the inconsistent service, I'd give this place another star or two, because the food is pretty good. It just seems like one day I'd get great enthusiastic, efficient service and other days I'd get a young girl too busy in her conversation to properly attend to me, and this has happened more than once.

I am a regular at offerdahls in weston. Sometimes, I visit more than once a day. The staff is very friendly, and always greets me by name. They are very willing to accomodate my needs, sometimes they start my order when they see me coming through the parking lot! Much thanks to offerdahls for making my day a little brighter. AND, by the way, the food rocks!

Worst service EVER! I walked in & 5 people are behind the counter. NOT ONE PERSON ACKNOWLEDGES ME! It was 10am & I was the only one in there. I had to lean over the counter to get someone's attention. After ordering 2 bagels toasted, a muffin, and 2 drinks, it took 20 minutes! The staff was WAY more interested in talking amongst themselves. Then when she gave me my order she didn't have my coffee or muffin. When I said something, she actually told me that I hadn't ordered those items. I had to show her my receipt!!! Needless to say, it would take a miracle for me to return to this location.... Btw. The coffee was awful & the bagels were luke warm bc they had just left them sitting there after toasting them.

  • Gabby Z.

Great salads but they tend to mess up the orders a lot. So double check if you order from here. I got the quinoa green salad and they forgot to add the quinoa! Before I got another salad that comes with bacon and they forgot the bacon.

I felt the breakfast was overwhelming portion, I couldn't even finish. Quality was...Weston standard. Staff were very nice and I like the set up, menu seem very well thought out. I'd try burger next time so i could review for dinner.
