I feel the need to update my review of the ONS... My last one was based on one incident of drinks not being up to par with what I'm used to here. A friend and I were here yesterday (between 3:30 & 5ish). Tuesday's are "All You Can Eat Wings" for $10.95. My friend had the Jack Daniel's BBQ wings. He said they were the best wings he's EVER eaten!! Our drinks were spot on and the service was fantastic!!! XO to a local favorite!

The staff is not super friendly. The security guard at the door seemed like he hated his job and it took us 40minutes to finally order food. I do understand that this place is more of a bar scene but if two people are sitting down with menus that should send a signal to one of the waiting staff. Once we finally got a waitress she was actually the only nice staff member there. She took out order and it was brought to the table pretty quickly and was very very fresh. The food is reasonably priced. I ordered the smothered chicken sandwich and fries and it was quite good. The drinks are quite pricey for the "country" bar atmosphere that there are trying to pull off. Even though this was not my first visit the this establishment, in my absence the place then from a younger crowd to a 40+ crowd. Overall if they could get rid of some of the staff that is not customer focused and replace with staff who have a focus on customer service and run better drink specials with place would be a 5 star.

Surprise! Another one of my reviews based on adult beverages only! I stopped at this bar last night for one reason and one reason only, the name...shocker! This bar apparently has been several different bars over the years, so hopefully this one will stay a while. I am not a country music fan and this bar is primarily a country bar with the DJ playing Rock on some nights. The country music was surprisingly tolerable, but then again, I had just had half a bottle of wine. It wasn't too crowded and the bar is pretty spacious. The bartenders were very attentive and efficient. The bathrooms were very clean. Would I go back to try the food? Possibly...but Valrico is somewhat far for me. Plus...if I check-in again, I will be listed as a "Regular" at the One Night Stand so doesn't that defeat the purpose?

Closest bar to my house but I only go if I'm dragged. The food is good sometimes, but it's not consistent. I've had two good bartenders there, but won't stay at a table because I'll get ignored by the servers since I'm female. The crowd that typically goes in is typical Valrico cowboy wannabes, not the place for someone who doesn't drink bud light and listens to country music.

Nasty place. Nasty people. As a female you will be ignored if you don't push yourself up to the bar. If one of the employees friends is rude and nasty to you, and you snap back you will be kicked out while they get another drink. If you want to have some drinks with your parents, expect your 60 YEAR OLD PARENTS to have to wear a wristband proving they are over 21. Expect to be served overpriced and underpoured drinks. And lastly expect to be surrounded by Brandon finest white trash "adults".

Interesting joint! The beer was cold and cheep. I ended up ordering some smoked wings and they were amazing. Got a side of blue cheese that appeared to me homemade. The service was actually really good. Saturday night was really slow until the birthday party showed up on the party bus. These group of drunk ladies took turns riding the bull and it was the funniest thing I have seen in a while!!! .

I'm not really a country boy, but it's a cool joint. They do play classic rock which is a cool vibe. My wife and I only had an appetizer and drinks and we enjoyed it. Would come back.

Was here earlier this week. Paid with a card. I TIPPED well in CASH. My tab was for $25. I signed the receipt and in the tip line I put cash. Next day when I checked my bank account my card was run for $40.. Not happy. Called and complained to a manager and they were not helpful. That was the 2nd time it has happened to me at this place. The first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt and figured it could have possibly been my fault. I won't be back. So disappointing. I was very excited about this place and had high hopes but I'm left disappointed and unimpressed. To others who want to check this place out. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CARD. DO NOT START A TAB. ONLY GIVE THEM CASH!!!

I would put a star or two for the excellent staff and service, but the owner was the biggest tool to clean out a woman's nether region I've ever encountered. I was there with two people who served this country in its most recent foreign war. One got a tad unruly and he (the owner) came at us out of nowhere. I merely was trying to calm the situation, and stated that my friend was a vfw and also said "they sent a big dude to handle the situation", and heard him scream, "Both of you are out!" No one had been getting physical, just one of my Veteran friends with ptsd was getting a tad mouthy and I was calming the situation when this male organ of a man walked up, and made it worse. Pointing his egocentric finger into our face and screaming. At that point I was done, but I had to spend all of my energy trying to get my VETERAN friend, who was used to getting shot at on a daily basis, away from this female cleansing unit, whom aggressively asserted himself into a non-aggressive situation, making it worse. The owner was by far the most disrespectful butt-hat towards our/my country's heroes and them trying to live "normal" lives after WAR. Will I be going back? When I see a sign reading "Under new managment." and "Veterans welcome!"

Went back for my second Thursday night at The One Night Stand. (I was reluctant after my last experience about a month ago due to a rude bartender.) My experience this time was much better! It was much more crowded this time, and the bartender informed me of the specials when she greeted me. They have "Life Size Jenga" that you can play with blocks of wood as opposed to the miniature game, which was a blast. I had the pretzel sticks and the macaroni-stuffed meatballs, both of which were excellent. They also have $3 Fireball shots on Thursdays!

I've been to the one night stand a couple of times before. My husband and I wanted to play pool and have a night without the kids so we stopped by and we found out that it was hospitality night. Well my husband is the manager of a restaurant so we were happy to stay here. Cue first issue......apparently hospitality night is only from 9 on......which isn't noted ANYWHERE and apparently it only includes drinks......also not noted ANYWHERE......so that was frustrating. There was also another Hospitality night in the area that I would've gone to that included food had I known this was the case. The other big issue I have and why this place may not be drumming up the food business like it should is because people here act like they've never been in public before. As soon as I walked in I heard a woman shouting.....I thought there was a fight maybe.....no this lady just didn't have a normal volume.....she and her mother continued to SHOUT at each other the entire time we were there. They were also way over-served.....they were both wasted by the time I got there.....and BTW we got there at 6:30.....So yeah......Then another girl came in and she and the OWNER started a friendly yelling match across the bar. I WOULD NEVER BRING MY KIDS INTO THIS PLACE BECAUSE OF THINGS LIKE THAT. If they want to be a restaurant then they should work on being more professional. Food wise: My food was ok....their fried pickles were all right.....nothing to write home about. I had a side salad and the buffalo shrimp. All in all I wasn't impressed with my meal.....the salad was full of water.....I don't know if they own a salad spinner but they should invest. My husbands food was very good and their sweet potato fries are AMAZE......I would go back and I would get their sweet potato fries and that's pretty much it. Husband's burger was also pretty good. Drink wise, husband got Jack and coke....not hard to mess up. I had 3 margaritas. One I asked for with Don julio.....there was too much orange and not enough lime juice. Then I had their margarita.....it was good. So I ordered another from a different bartender and it tasted like orange juice and tequila......so depending on which bartender you have you may or may not like your drink. I would go back to drink....they have decent specials. I don't think I'll be eating here again anytime soon.
