Really good Cuban sandwiches. For something more substantial order the ropa vieja or roast pork. They're both great but make sure you're REALLY hungry as they definitely don't hold back on portions. Also make sure to get a cafe con leche. I travel a lot for work and wish I could find someplace outside of Florida that makes that wonderful mixture of happiness!

This used to be a great Cuban Restaurant until the owner hired this lady server who gives out very small portions of lunch entries. I came in today and ordered my usual lunch special to go chicken sausage yellow rice and black beans and felt I was ripped off for the price that I paid. When I got home to eat my lunch I counted the chicken strips and sausages in the box and was disappointed because there were only 3 small pieces of chicken, 2 tiny sliced sausages, the yellow rice was probably half a cup, everything else were red bell peppers and the black beans was very watery. Memo to the owner, once you compromise quantity portions you start losing regular customers.

Been going here for years - steam table offerings are always fresh and have a nice variety Pretty decent Cuban and the roast pork sandwich is also well done. I do feel they are a little expensive compared to other Cuban places closer to downtown. They also clearly label (or at least know what is vegetarian) - took some family there and conflicting answers on yellow rice

This grub is spot-on if you're in the mood for Cuban food, it is cafeteria style so you pick what looks good to you. Quick service and reasonable prices. Friendliness of staff could use a bit of work but overall I feel welcome here.Big fan of their yucca and yellow rice, definitely worth stopping by if you want a quick and satisfying lunch.

Terrible. Everything we ordered was wrong, everything.... two tables in the place and three employees eating chips in the back booth enjoying themselves but could care less about the customers. Never and I mean never will we be back.

This place is a rip off. I came in wanting to eat something other than fast food. When my wife and I ordered the meal we paid 20$ for a meal that was jus rice n meat with a small side. Felt like a kids meal. Then the food was bland no flavor or seasoning. Never again..

This little place is a block from my house. I knew I was in trouble the day I moved in. La Cubanita ended a 10 year caffeine hiatus. The best Cafe con Leche and breakfast around. Fantastic roast pork, entries, and delicious Cubans. Try the Alex, a Cuban sandwich with piles of fresh roast pork. I love this place.

I've been eating here since 2005 and it's always been good food. The menu is very authentic and very good. Small casual atmosphere with friendly staff. If you're looking for good Cuban food you won't be disappointed.

Ive been here twice and both times, the cuban sandwiches i had were delicious. The bread is slathered with lots of butter right before its pressed, creating the most perfectly crispy bread. The cuban special is a cuban with croquettes and special sauce on it. The croquettes give it a different taste with some added creaminess. I prefer the regular cuban just because its so well made. It doesn't need anything extra on it. The sandwiches run about 4.99 a piece with no sides. The best deal is if you can find a coupon, you can get a sandwich, chips, and drink for 4.99. They have lots of good looking food on the hot bar as well. I haven't tried any of it yet, but heard its great.

Best Saturday breakfast place!! Why?? Because only on Saturdays do they have empanadas. Ask for beef empanadas!! The best around!! The crust is light and flaky!!

Love this place for lunch. The Alex Special is awesome, great twist on the traditional pressed Cuban sandwich but with fresh roast pork, YUM. Also great gyros and salads. Don't get me wrong their ropa vieja, picadillo, platanos, are great too, and the stuffed potatoes are killer. You must try it.

Love the mojo pork! Cafe Con Leche on Saturday morning is the best with cheese toast.
