My favorite hometown place to eat! Love the salad bar and all the BBQ. Today I had the BOMB burger, too much for me on my own, my husband didn't mind helping me:) Service is always A#1

I had the brisket. It was very good. My two sides were coleslaw and a sweet potato. Both the coleslaw and sweet potato were generous servings. The brisket was also good size. It was a good barbecue place. I won't be back in Titusville for a while but if I came back I would come back and try the ribs. The staff was good and friendly and the price wasn't bad. If you like barbecue give it a try. I gave it five stars because for a bbq place it deserved it. It is not a five star Restutaunt. It is a five star bbq place.

The food here is amazing ! The Alabama sauce goes very well with some wings. Our waiter was rude though! She seemed like she didn't want to be there. For my first time here I thought it was an amazing bbq place. I can't wait to come back, but if I have the same server I will be leaving! I wish I could remember her name, but it wouldn't be hard to notice who she is because she was like that with all her customers. I know it wasn't just me who sensed how rude she was. The table behind us also commented on her service as well as the rest of my party.

My first time ever at Sonny's was at this location. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was very tasty. I like all the different sauces available at the table. Service was fast and there was no wait so we were seated immediately.

This was my first trip to Sonny's. The food and the service were both good. I cannot complain about either one. The only complainant I do have is my husband did not get enough to eat. Maybe it was what he ordered, he should have ordered a bigger meal??? Idk. This won't stop us from coming back and giving them another try. I did notice the salad bar was very popular so one the way out I stopped by to check it out and it did look fresh and very tasty. I think the salad bar will be on my order next time!

I use to love Sonnys BBQ but lately their food had been really greasy and fatty. I always get the Beef Brisket and my fiancé always gets the Pulled Pork. Both of these have so much fat on them and forget about the garlic bread as it is saturated in grease! I must say I'm so disappointed. They use to be so darn good. I don't know, maybe they changed their chefs or their recipe? All I know is that I won't be eating there anymore.

Im giving 3 stars mainly because service is lacking, & sonnys offers a free appetizer with a great review. So how many reviews are legit, & not just a way to get something free?! Heres a real review. With such delicious food, you would think the service would be better. Every time we order an appetizer (by the way, redneck egg rolls are to die for!) We end up getting it with our meal!!! We stopped ordering apps because of this. If you're daring, try the pitmaster burger! Expertly made with layers of different meat! Good luck trying to eat it all! My favorite is the baby back ribs. Always delicious! I love the Cole slaw, baked beans are OK. I like broccoli & usually have that with my meal. I've had to send back broccoli on 2 occasions due to being over salted. Usually our meal is wonderful. I would recommend going here, but be prepared to spend!

based on that experience I wouldn't go back. For starters, when my wife and I sat down in the decently packed restaurant, i swear everyone stopped what they were doing to give us the "you don't look like you're from around here look". I'm pretty good at brushing off that kind of stuff, and proceeded to dig into what I thought would be some excellent BBQ. Nothing could be further from the truth. If it wasn't the worst BBQ I've ever had, it must have been pretty close. The sauce was lousy and the meat was overcooked. I don't know how they ever got such a following. My wife corrected me on the location, so this is the correct one.

Awful food. Not to mention heart disease on a plate.

The service is great. The ribs are fantastic and all the sauces are delicious. I would recommend this place to any body. The baby back ribs are so good they make you wanna slap your momma!

  • Andi C.

The service can have its off nights but there are a lot of friendly people who work here and do a nice job of making you feel welcome. :) The great part is that this is one of the only restaurants in Titusville that features a salad bar. Opt for the salad bar option; load up on veggies and skip the cheese, tuna salad and fatty dressings. Cornbread is deadly (and delicious with cinnamon butter!) but half is doable for your calorie count. They also offer grilled chicken, though it takes 10-15 minutes to come out to the table.

Ii love thier pulled pork, garlic bread, sweet potatoes, and sweet tea. They also have a tasty pulled brisquet that is amazing! I've never had a bad experience with these favorites.

  • Richard B.

From the buildings look you might think this place is a local BBQ joint. It is not. This is a chain and the food has a chain food taste. The service was spotty and the food was marginal. Surely there is better BBQ in this part of the country.

I'm never disappointed at Sonny's no matter how busy they are. The staff is nice and handles difficult customers well. (Seriously people call in your order so you're not guessing what kind of anything your party wants!) The new items there rolling out are interesting and delicious. Susan is super nice too!

I'm vegetarian, but generally people I go here with really enjoy it. I have been to other locations where the servers leave their hair down, and, surprise, my food had hairs (yes, 2 hairs) in it. My point being, as long as you see pony tails, you're in good shape!

  • Timothy S.

Ok so I've been going there for the past few years now as up until yesterday I never really had any complaints. My wife and I decided to take our kids out to dinner the server was a nice enough young lady, however we got our food cold. We asked to speak to the manager. She said that yhe kitchen staff was arguing and short staffed. None of witch was my concern. So then here come this young guy named Jason. He apparently was the manager. We explained our issue. He never once apologised or offered to fix the issue. He just preceded to play the finger pointing game and blame our server. He then said he was going to check the kitchen and stomped off like an angry three year old! Now keep in mind we were all very hungry so yes I picked at my cold food and the more I ate it the madder I got. At this point 20 more minutes had past no Jason in site. Finally our server comes back I told her to take my food to Jason at this point I didn't even want it in front of me anymore. She takes the plate and comes back with the bill. I said I was not going to pay for cold food. She said that there was nothing they could do about it. "You ordered it you pay for it" was her exact words. So now I spent 51.00 on food that I don't get the privilege to take home and warm up??? Somethings wrong with this picture. I would not recommend this place to anyone after that type of service and attitude oh and yes I did pay my bill all of it. Not even so much as a I'm sorry or a thank you or nothing. How a major franchise finds this type of behavior from its staff acceptable is beyond me. So now that my rant is done I will attempt to contact the general manager and franchise owner. Hopefully they are aware of the shenanigans their staff is up to..

Great BBQ place with great service! Must get: their ribs of course, and also the pulled Chicken. I was pretty impressed with their endless salad bar. Go for lunch and order off their lunch menu for great value and generous portions!

I do still have a soft spot for Sonny's, but I've been going less and less and the food and *especially* the service has deteriorated a little bit. I'll still go from time to time, but mostly because it seems like the only game in town (for bbq).

I've been going to this particular Sonny's for years so my review is one based over a good swath of time. Yes, the service has been hit or miss at times but lately it's been good. Food at times are dry but I've noticed it's more prevalent the later during dinner time you go eat there. I'm not a big fan of their salad bar and the desserts aren't anything spectacular. Overall it's a decent place to take the family or go with friends.

This is an easy review. Sonny's is quality, fast food BBQ. Delicious sweet sauce, big ass beers, delicious pulled pork, fast service, tons of food. Enough said.

  • Rigo N.

Unimpressed. Too many false 5 stars due to a sign in the place for free grub. Service seemed slow, location was messy, and my ribs were overcooked. Corn nuggets are to die for however...Very savoury. If you are planning to eat something other than ribs from here, you might want to just head to Publix and grill your own rib eye.

My husband and I specifically went to Sonny's on 6/9/2014 at 4:30pm to have their salad bar for dinner. We were seated immediately, but took a look at the salad bar ahead of time. What a mess! Old lettuce and very limp, not fresh at all, the food in the trays were all over the salad bar, trays were half empty with items to put on/in salad, no one was cleaning the area around the food, potato salad all over the place, garbonzo beans, chopped egg, cheese was all over the bar. It definitely turned us off and just was disgusting. Our waitress and the hostess talked very loudly to some old couple next to us and the personal information they were talking about made you feel like a friend of the family. We didn't want to be that much a part of their family! We expected to be able to talk to one another at that time of day, but these two girls were loud. Their personal conversation could be heard down the street. Our waitress was okay when she paid attention to us. The salad we ordered was okay, but I'm not into spring greens. Give me a salad with romaine hearts and Iceberg in it. We won't be going there for salad any longer. I'm sure their BBQ is ok.

This place is awesome! Tons of food and taste awesome! The feast for four was plenty and took some home!

I absolutely love the sweet bbq wings...also love the redneck eggrolls. Ok...everything you get here is yummy!

  • Connie D.

Its funny how you can be turned off from a place from one rude waitress. You start to see fault in everything. I have been a sonnys fan and got on my soap box every chance I got to recommend Sonnys sliced pork. I purchased the all u can eat, as usual, and it was very dry and cold. My spouse ( who took years of convincing to come here) is a salad lover and was not impressed with the price for a under stocked, limited salad bar for a one trip plate at 7.99. I would probably now suggest that you should go though the drive thru and order lots of sauce and go and eat where you will feel wanted and respected.
