Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

I must start this review by saying I'm no New Yorker but I've eaten my share of New York Style Pizza and for the most part I have enjoyed most of them. This pizza was just okay in my opinion, it was built fresh, the dough was pounded, kneaded, tossed, spun and stretched I'm amazing at the skill on display for all to see, unfortunately tonight they were extremely backed up with take out and delivery orders and our pizza was the last pizza order taken before they started turning walk-in customers away. Not one customer was seated after we placed our order and the restaurant was mostly empty. As you can see in my photo it's a pretty awesome looking pizza but the crust was under cooked and doughy and also quite tough to the point the plastic tableware just couldn't get the job done. The toppings all seemed very fresh and plentiful. It just looked like they were a little over-whelmed and rushing to get the orders out. The sodas are canned and they sell no iced tea they do have a few draft beers on tap. The employees were extremely friendly and the service was excellent but the food failed to wow me. I may try them again if I'm in the area maybe we caught them on a bad night there seems to be a lot of praise in the reviews posted,

Good pizza and cheap beer. Little seating when it's busy but it's busy 'cause it's good.

Best pizza in Titusville! Coming from a true pizza snob. Get a few Canolli's too. You may not be in the mood for them when you order, but nothing beats them for a late night snack OR for breakfast with coffee.

walked in and ordered a ,regular cheese pizza, a sausage pepper and onion sub, and large garlic knots. The girl who took my order was very pleasant and friendly. I was told that it would be 20-25 mins. So I sat there and waited and waited. Noticed that the pizza was done in 15, & garlic knots too. Sub was not started until after the pizza was done. Time waited 35 mins. By the time I go home pizza was cold and so were garlic knots. I had to reheat them. They were not even busy, there was only one customer there and then one more walked in behind me. Also as I was waiting I noticed that the two cooks liked to use their feet to close the bottom oven pizza door (yuck) and were constantly brushing the oven inside and scraping it. It was flying all over the place. This is no NY style pizza. The cheese seemed & tasted like fake Mozzarella, the crust was very rubbery. The Knots were rubbery as well. I was shocked to see that the sub I ordered was sausage cut thin, like the kind you would use on a pizza. And just thrown in a roll. It was horrid!! This is not the way it is served in NY. I prefer Momma Rosa's And/or Valentinos at Searstown. I gave two stars because they were friendly. other wise I give it a big zero!!

Ordered 2 pizzas and they told me it would be 35 minutes. When I got there after 40 minutes it was not ready and I was told it would be another 15 minutes. Offered nothing for my extra long wait. Will not be back

Giant slice of yummy New York style pizza, 2 tvs. Soda fountain. Whole pizzas, sangwhiches ...yummy. The place needs a good cleaning but great pizza and salads.

So I went to pizzonis on this past Saturday night and I must say the food was great. Although when I came in to place my order the girl at the counter had not realized I was standing there for a good 5-7 minutes before she was done goofing off with other coworkers and got to taking my order. Now I do think it is a very good atmosphere especially seeing how well staff gets along and works together although no one wants to stand there for 5 minutes watching you goof off when I'm trying to place an order!

The tomato basil pizza was perfection. Fresh and flavorful! Cheesy bacon ranch knots were tasty!! Veggie pizza tasted wonderful. The crust...incredible!! Slices are BIG. People were friendly and very nice. Delivery, too. :-)

Pizzoni's has AMAZING pizza, the white pizza is my favorite. Tried their sandwiches last week those are awesome too. I would recommend calling in your order as there isn't a whole lot of room to eat inside. The staff is friendly and they know what they are doing. The cinnamon knots are fantastic and the bacon ranch cheesy knots... To die for!

this place has good pizza and whats bad ass is they sell draft beer double score.

  • Queen Mean X.

Ate here based on the high Yelp reviews. The quality of the toppings were very good with fresh veggies and flavorful meats. However this pizza utterly bombed in the crust. The pizza crust was horrible, cracker crunchy and TOUGH, hard to chew and impossible to cut (yes I was using a knife and fork because the bottom was so greasy it soaked through the cardboard and left a puddle on the table). It was just bad.

Wow. This is the best Italian in town. Calzones and cheesy garlic knots to die for! It's great to see a quality business thriving in this area. They're only open Sundays during football season, FYI. The staff is extremely nice and they have four beers on tap! Go now!

This place is really great. I eat pizza from everywhere in Titusville and this is by far the best. A small New York style pizza place (that actually has good New York style pizza) with minimal dining, the best beers on tap, pizza by the slice, and they even deliver. We walked in and ordered an 18 inch pepperoni pizza. We watched them make it and they had it out to us in no time at all. Very relaxed place with a friendly staff and good music (they had sublime and beastie boys playing while we were there). Definitely check it out.

Uninspiring atmosphere, but the best pizza I have had in a long time! Excellent crust. Fresh toppings, and generously applied. And the service was great too. Lots of young workers behind the counter...and all of them making pizzas. We had the Tomato Basile. So goo!

Pizza was awesome when first open then took a dive ( over or undercooked pies) but they are doing it right again. If you haven't been in a while give it a chance
